thank you
what's going on I ran out of gas so I
was trying to sell everything
because now my car is like breaking up
okay
you filled up your tank with gas
yeah so you have a gas tank there's a
gas thing in the back so I work at um
I work at Thirsty Turtle Farm Park okay
I worked a double today I didn't have
time to go to the gas station I thought
I could make it home with I was like on
empty when I went to work
who was that with you
the guy that just came yeah that was my
boyfriend so he gave me the gas tank
okay
I don't think I did it the right way so
it's in the back of my car now
do you mind if I get out uh I do uh not
like you to get out just because you're
on a major highway right now
I tried to
ran out of gas right before this he
rolled back a little bit that dent in
your door is that from this evening no
that's from my um
Okay so
you're coming from work uh Thirsty
Turtle Floral Park yeah there's a
Thirsty Turtle and craft room yeah
uh do you have a license registration
insurance by chance I just want to
identify you
okay
real quick question for you have you
been drinking anything this evening no
at work I know you work at a bar but
yeah
I had a glass of wine at around 10
o'clock
that's about it okay
thank you
okay do you have a do you have like a
jacket or anything
so it's going to keep you warm
um yeah I have stuff in the back okay
okay
I'll even just take a license
okay
let's run out of gas this might be a
450.
okay
okay
Marissa yes okay you handed me this
that's like a water sewer card thing
well what I'm going to ask you to do is
actually I'm going to ask you to step
out of the vehicle if you don't mind
okay just be very careful
foreign
over here okay
all right
okay so the reason why I have it out of
the vehicle is we're just going to
conduct some tests okay
um I know you said you were working
tonight at the Thirsty Turtle flooring
Park and that's great uh and my goal
here is to try and get you off of this
highway and out of Harm's Way okay but I
got to make sure that you're able to do
so in a orderly and safely manner okay
yeah all right
all right so if you just want to step
back a little bit like right over here
okay right there is good right right
here is good
all right so the first test I'm going to
have you do all right
it's gonna be it's gonna be a one leg
stand okay so I need you to start
just like this just watch me first I'll
tell you how we're gonna conduct these
tests okay with your arms remaining at
your side
just keep them at your side just relax
okay you're gonna pick up your left foot
it's gonna be foot it's gonna be
parallel to the deck and it's going to
be one one thousand two one thousand
three one thousand so on and so forth
until I tell you to stop do you
understand the instructions that I gave
you about the test
when I give you the command to begin
you may begin
yep
[Applause]
you've gone eleven one thousand twelve
one thousand thirteen thousand fourteen
thousand fifteen one thousand sixteen
thousand okay that's good okay
all right next test okay is gonna be
your walk and turn
all right so what you're going to do is
you're going to start with your right
foot in front of your left
so basically again with your arms still
remaining at your sides so the first
foot you're going to step off with is
your back foot which is going to be your
left foot so it's going to go like this
it's going to go heel you're going to
take nine Heel To Toe steps just watch
me first and then I'll okay and then you
can start so right foot in front of the
left arms remaining at your side you're
gonna go
one
two
three
four
five all the way up until nine once you
reach that ninth step okay you're going
to take short choppy steps
from your right to your left
facing this way or in this case you're
going to be walking this way and then
you're gonna be
left side okay do you understand the
instructions that I give you
and just to give you some room you can
just start you can start back here okay
all right
when you're ready you can begin and
you're gonna say it out loud how many
steps go ahead restart
two three four five
six seven eight
nine and then chop it up this way
yep okay
dude do you have a glass eye do you wear
contacts yeah can you see all right yes
okay can you see the tip of my finger
yeah right here what I'm asking you to
do now
keeping your head straight just
following my finger with your eyes so
all you're gonna do is follow with your
eyes all right
can you see my finger yeah all right
thank you
blank yeah
[Music]
all right good job all right sit down
one second
okay
so what do you think
all right I heard her uh yeah
um
walking tournament
yeah you got to get to that constant
it's pretty cool I think
her walking trail is flying her one
night stand was terrible
all right yeah I before the six
so all right
received your face that way
so how much did you have to drink
tonight
a glass of wine after work and that was
it yeah
because you're right you're you have
four out of six hits yeah and you didn't
do good on your one leg stand
to be completely honest I worked out for
the worst uh the first time today with
my cousin
and
I did leg day so is that why do you want
to try the test again
yeah be good with that yeah
all right but for the let's start with
The Walking time let's start from the
beginning
so you're gonna you're gonna start left
foot here right foot here and when you
stay in that position while I do the
test yep just like that keep your hands
at your side
and stay there
so like officer Rydel said
you're gonna do nine steps
nope no I know okay
all right so you're gonna go to nine
steps
stay there until I tell you to begin all
right
relax
okay
all right well you're standing like that
hands at your side you're gonna take
nine steps
one two three all the way to nine I just
did three yeah you're then gonna take
short choppy steps pivoting on your left
foot turn around
and take nine steps back one two three
hands at your side looking down at your
toes counting out loud online steps
while you touch Heel To Toe you
understand yeah if you have any
questions no no all right go ahead
seven eight nine
one two three
four
five six seven eight
nine all right good job all right turn
around now you can stay a snake once
again arms at your side
same thing also right now told you
before the foot of your choosing you're
gonna pick up hold six inches vertical
to the ground like this all right one
one thousand two one thousand three one
thousand four one thousand you're gonna
do that all the way to this rough it
just tells you to stop hands at your
side looking at your toe do you
understand yep
all right wait just start if you have
any questions
all right start when you're ready
one thousand
fourteen thousand fifteen one thousand
sixty one thousand seventy one thousand
they're good
all right you're you're cool
I I think you had more than a glass of
wine I think you're gonna be right on
the border
Okay so
you're you're gonna have to listen to
this officer we'll try to do it as
quickly as possible
the restaurant
okay you can follow me this way I'm
gonna put you in the back of this car
right here
okay one second
you just step in
face me
just kind of sit down watch your head
swing your legs in
I'm gonna reach across
if you need anything from her car do you
need anything at all I have your license
do you need anything your phone
you're on your phone or anything
I mean
yeah
yeah I'll grab our other stuff but I'm
gonna grab your stuff okay
yep
where was she going
she was on the shoulder I mean did she
say of course she was driving time and
tip she was coming from work which is
the Thirsty Turtle in Florham Park
um
yeah there's wine in this
we'll probably take a photo
I smelt it as
sooner at the Thirsty Turtle foreign
never even got to tell me where uh she
was headed when I asked him
[Music]
that's that
assume that's that as well
let me just make sure
foreign
never got a wrench
Marissa you the register owner of the
vehicle
I'm sorry yes okay
yeah black and then the uh
what do you think of that though
I consistent with what you
've seen the other ones yep
I mean I'm not super
awesome
I have her phone wallet included you do
okay
all right
you coming a Riverdale with me okay
football
she should be man
gotcha thank you
uh
thank you for doing that
you're uh so I couldn't
yeah
I couldn't even
like type it in because there was a car
next to hers
and then she was just here she said she
ran out of gas and then as soon as I
pulled up that Court took off I didn't
even get a reg on that car she said it
was her boyfriend
Marissa you want you like your big big
purse he's got your wallet and stuff but
you want like your purse with stuff in
it yeah big black bag in the front seat
okay okay we'll grab it for you
all right here
I got a nick
I got it got it
yeah
I did oh you did that all right I did in
the front seat
you know
if he has one
trained right somebody
don't jinx it no pressure
it should be in the first couple yeah
this bad boy
perfect
thanks
no not you yeah no I know all right
yeah all right thank you guys thanks
Nance
68 for corner
transporting one adult female to
Riverdale headquarters Police
Headquarters starting mileage one five
seven one six
okay
thank you
thank you
okay back there MRSA
really
I'm sorry
absolutely
[Music]
so just a heads up Marissa just so
you're not uh
confused or anything like that we're at
Riverdale Police Headquarters we are
Pequannock uh we're just here for the
one on one step of the processing part
okay
68 for Quantic ending mileage one five
seven one seven
foreign
just swing your legs out
break this way
all right
second one right yeah you're going this
room right here on the left
foreign
you get to have a seat
foreign
[Music]
thank you
guys
okay thank you we're gonna go back to uh
Pequannock police headquarters you got
it thank you
yep you're gonna follow that officer see
you later thank you
oh
great
um
that you can share with your fiance
whoever whatever you want you know
illegal adult so even when he comes
We're not gonna tell him what you blew
We're not gonna tell him we can't we
can't legally tell them because we're
not saying he's not an like he's
listening like so I mean anybody yeah
right but yeah he's probably gonna ask
us and we're just gonna say that he can
bring it up with you and we're not
trying to be sketchy about it it's just
That's the Law okay thank you so much I
appreciate it yep we're gonna just head
back too all right thanks Nick
foreign
adult female prisoner back to
Pequannock Township Police Headquarters
from Riverdale
starting mileage one five seven one
seven
okay
pepper
more snow okay
so that's what what's that
what's up
right so that's what officer Schreck was
telling you is that we actually have a
legal obligation we can't tell your
fiance anything of what occurred here
tonight uh that is entirely
up to you if you would like to go ahead
and tell them about everything and what
happened and all that other stuff but
right now uh if he comes pick it up pick
us up for instance if he came to pick us
up right I'm sorry pick you up
um because somebody has to pick you up
and they he says
just something so simple as
was Marissa arrested
I can't even tell him I can't tell him
yes or no
I I legally can
oh god
he has to talk to us when he signs the
form it's called John's law that your
car is going to be
um
it's on a hold basically in the tow yard
because you are required by law if
you're arrested for driving you know
under the influence
your car is on a 12-hour hold because
you're legally not able to like drive it
anymore for at least for at least 12
hours so
we have to advise them that
the
you know he I mean there's no car I
think he's going to pick you up in his
car probably could put your car is on a
hold and he needs to just basically he's
basically signing saying I'm picking you
up
that's that's all he needs to do when he
comes here
he's just signing saying I'm picking you
up
but that's it
so
because there's no car involved or
anything like that he's picking you up
I'm assuming he's going to be picking
you up in his car so
foreign
[Music]
foreign
getting mileage one five seven one nine
did you get her out I'll take her in
just move yourself to the right or left
hand will not be pleased
so patrolman is going to take in all
right swing your feet out
I'm gonna go with uh
thanks Nick
foreign
[Music]
you belong to sleep off and we start
tomorrow afternoon hopefully uh a new
day I gotta reboot
um
oh yeah I told her she was Cooper if I
didn't think she needed to be uh yeah if
you're cool with it I don't think she's
gonna fight us him at all very good
um
make copies
I would just grab an old-fashioned
photograph since this isn't into uh oh
this is incorporating okay I'll grab a
camera for my car
can I just grab a camera and then make
the copies of this stuff yep you still
have her deal in the uh
you want to grab the camera I'll go make
copies okay
it's okay uh there's this one and then
there's
he doesn't get the Apple test uh
where's the other one
thank you because if you want to drive
too far right now
do I just gotta get a camera right yeah
get a camera and then uh
if you want to write out for 450 and
whatever else you wanna
um well when you're stopping I mean
that's the only thing I got
I mean you could write typically it's
careless with 450
um otherwise you don't really observe
her brother
um so
um
I'm gonna feed you to update your
address with DMV
no I know so again that's up to you
she's been great you don't have to write
or anything yeah I know but I mean
careless is hand in hand with yeah I
mean that's just that has to go correct
I know attitude too do you want you want
your phone and all that stuff you can
yeah I get all your stuff's right there
so
this is it's Matt so I'm sure
[Music]
um
well that's because the Carol's just
kind of taking care of that yeah but I'm
not gonna do an actress she's been good
I I agree
all right
all right
foreign
thank you
all right Marissa I'm gonna actually
have you
stand right over here on the X okay just
so I can get a picture
just look right in the lens
okay you just want to face that window
thank you
I'm sorry it's just
okay you can have a seat
thank you
now you can just have the pictures
um
thank you
doing all the work is this knot yeah at
this point okay it's all already in here
all right
um do you have a copy of her alcohol
test results
um
okay
[Music]
what
should I get a copy and have them sign
you and the guy send both like make two
copies and have some slime too because
we're close together in one third
um while he's doing that I'm just gonna
explain so you're gonna get some
summonses okay one of them being is
gonna be 4-50 it's gonna be driving
under the influence of alcohol okay
um the other one is it's a hand in hand
ticket basically you write driving well
under the influence it's an act of it's
ultimately what is an act of careless
driving okay so careless driving
and then
just your license expired in 2020.
[Music]
it comes up comes up as expired does it
yeah but those are the three yeah so
those are the three tickets uh I'm
writing you okay I'm not gonna do like
address change or any of that silly
stuff okay but uh so that's gonna be
yours that's yours that's your copy
that's your toe sheet right yeah okay
I'm Gonna Keep keep the one in the
package for you um
because he's supposed to get away with
photocopy historically oh okay he
doesn't get a copy then I guess that's
why he's gonna find he's going to get a
lot he's gonna get this kind of a bolt
and then give him okay
uh he's good
well let me uh fill this out
he's just doing this though right
so you're gonna she's doing here yeah
all right
um personally acknowledging it's gonna
be him so if you want to pre-do the
street and City you know where he's at
we have our address so it would really
just be it'll be him and then it'll be
this is refusal so this will be her
right receipt of potential liability
um
I mean I would just let him read that I
just need your drivers license one more
time I'm sorry yeah exactly
thank you very much
it's the last piece of this puzzle okay
and get you out of here
long ago
five times
Compton playing
a house with your fiance yeah about a
year ago yeah
okay
it's popped in Planes right or are you
pecan here
hey Nick yeah what was the TOA it was
12.50 right
yeah
I know it was on the chat
is 23.50 thank you
that's
it
[Music]
um
here
[Music]
you cut that away I'm just gonna grab
one more thing and then we'll be on our
way okay
[Music]
[Music]
what's happening
alrighty Marissa
we're ready to go
[Applause]
oh yeah you're you're you're free to go
you're done
so you can head out
thank you
we're gonna go through this way okay
we just gotta take a little longer of a
walk
I had to move my car
uh we're gonna go that way so basically
he's gonna just sign this stuff
basically just saying like
he's he's taking you he's taking you in
we're just giving you a ride okay
that's not a problem
foreign
and you could throw that just that lap
belt right over you
I'll give you a light here
thank you yep
good okay
thank you
very nice okay
68 to Pequannock I'm transporting one
adult female to
seven one nine
sure sure
thank you yep
thank you
okay
you have all your stuff your purse your
phone your summonses your toe sheet got
all that stuff right yeah okay yep
foreign
next one right
thank you
foreign
[Music]
is it this am I making this right
doesn't matter right okay I just didn't
know what's easier I always put it in
GPS because I always screw up the
numbers around back here
that's you right there okay
all right
60 for chronic ending mileage one five
seven two zero
[Music]
okay
got it
you gotta watch your purse
thank you
[Applause]
good evening how are you sir good I just
needed a sense of paperwork on behalf of
Marissa here basically just I mentioned
safely in our house and all that other
stuff okay
um so just first uh print your address
and then a signature on the bottom and I
need you to do it twice unfortunately
okay because you get you do get a copy
of this well Marissa gets it
so you can print
he sounds horrible but he's really nice
that's gonna be street address
and you're just gonna sign right here
and I need to do that all over again
there you go
print address sign
absolutely
foreign
thank you very much sir thank you have a
good night guys take care
[Applause]
68 is clear
foreign
