on July 14th 2023 the chamble police department received alerts from road cameras about a vehicle driving with a stolen dealer tag in chamble Georgia hey how you doing just told me about the plate yeah he said so my friend worked for the delip he said he sold the company we just texted I'm like what so I got my plate back here look just be for safe the plates are he just told me so I got my plate I got my plate back here but I got to get it I got to go to DMB so I just came to get my keys from my friend but I got you you got your ID on you real quick yeah it's just you in the car right huh yeah just you went yeah yeah you literally just I came to my friend she worked in the IRS building so I just came to get my keys and then I'mma go I was going to take care that she he literally just texted me and said I sold the company and I'm like why you stop why you in front of me yeah does it alert you or something okay so yeah every officer in the city of Shamy got the alert huh every officer in the city of Shamy got the alert from Shamy though it's from no it's from a different agency but if it's stolen it'll come back it it hits our cameras in the city okay so every camera I pass okay so yeah I need to so what's my best bet can I take it off and put this on so what I'm going to do is I'm going to take it cuz it's stolen it's reported stolen okay so we got to bring it back to the state so can I is that your current plate this is my current plate but I just got to go change it can I see that real quick I got you that it cuz my other my car my other car got total okay I had a red Nissan kicks and it got total so I had the plate from since last year and they see your address no I live Atway now okay but this is my I I calling DMV and everything just now trying to figure out where do I go just to get the sticker cuz I would need the sticker tell so you're returning to them yeah I have to return I have to go to our evidence room to go to the state so what's the deal with the tag whose tag is it so it was my friend's tag him and his wife so he sold the the C dealership that he had he said and he transfered over to his business partner that he was businesses with so he called me this morning but I wasn't able to answer so he just text me and said just be safe the plates was reported stolen he said tag ISS reported stolen and don't drive it anymore I no longer own the company and what and lost rights to the tag okay so that's what the message say so he sold it so he not in business with his friend no more I got you I don't know what happened I'm not getting involved but I was just like all right let me get my keys from my friend and let me go and try to get my plates but I was like should I put my plates on yeah right yeah is is it expired yeah August I rather you put an expired tag on than I stoen one right here from New York so I'm trying to figure out what I should do but I got like a little you have something you could take it off for yeah I'll take it off be okay and you'll put that one off for me well yeah I'll put it on for you so I'm safer driving with that yes let me check you out and figure everything out and then I'll be right back with you okay thanks uh it's p let me get you step out one time yeah just step out you're not in trouble oh I'm like what I do you might just come to the front all right is there any reason your car smells like weed uh yeah it would I'm not going to lie to you what's what's going on I just picked something up but nothing major picked something up what you Pi up yeah just to smoke okay what you pick up we we ain't worri about a little bit of weed I'm just oh yeah yeah just a little bit nothing major I'm just I told I just came here to my friend to get my keys so I could go take care of these plates cuz I didn't want to get in trouble for the plates he just told me literally so this is your friend tag yeah this my friend tag so basically I got my car right when I got the car I didn't have I had the tags but I told you my red car got my red car got told so he lent me the tags until I got my insurance and stuff together so he text me yeah I told me he call you tag it's been on my car I understand but why would you put that tag on there because he told me to he he told me I'm good he got the insurance he told me I could borrow until I got my insurance and stuff and that's a dealer plate so another thing is is that he's not allowed he's not supposed to do that unless you're employee of the company well he's the employee of the company he just know he just lent it to me to be honest got you so he told me he called me and said to me this he called me this morning but when he called me I wasn't able to answer cuz I was trying to finish getting my hair done so I was just calling him back and when I called him he sent the text he said yo guess what I said what he said to me what I just told you he said the plates I don't have ownership to the company no more me and my friend we par In Waves so he got it but he didn't give me a chance to give him back the plate so the plate is recorded stolen be careful so I said let me come get my keys real quick and then let me go and take care I got the plate I got a little drill thing in the back but I didn't know if it was like I didn't want to get in trouble if I put my plate on being that my plate is expired but he telling me now it's best to put mine on cuz I was going to the be I didn't know that like I said I'm from New York so I don't know how it's supposed to go or what's supposed to go on to be honest all right um you have anything in no no no yeah yeah that's fine I don't have anything I just came from the hair salon literally the officer returned to his vehicle to verify the car's Vin and check if her insurance was valid everything checked out but he noticed that the driver kept trying to approach her vehicle which raised concerns thank baby I'mma call you back yes baby I'mma call you right back fa no I want to gra my phone my I love you too I love you too baby I miss you too hello hi hey she keep going in the car man that car smell like straight weed hey ma'am ma'am I know but when we on a traffic stop like this or when we it's all of us out here you really can't keep going back in the car so that's why we told you to bring out bring yourself out here yeah you can't keep reaching there you reached in for the phone that was kind of I just asked I just asked okay I just asked oh you asked for yeah yeah yeah I just [Music] it's hot yeah it's just a female but um I don't think she had anything to do with this plate she got the plate from her friend who works at a car dealership they ended up losing the dealership and he told her to take the plate off and just told her actually while I was standing there cuz he has no more rights to the plate and uh so she she she just had it on the back of her car for whatever reason which she was supposed to but yeah she got insurance her uh registration expired though but that's it all right okay make like question to you all right how much weed you got in the car just a little bit or a lot yeah just a just a little something this belongs to your Nissan kick yeah that's what I said I told you but my Nissan kick is total I got you so actually you wouldn't be able to put this on the back of this car cuz it's a whole totally different car so what can I do trans right now you just going to have try to get another tag or something so can I still go down there and where was the tag that belongs on this car I got this from a used dealership and they didn't give it to you they didn't give me no they gave me a temporary tag but you never got the no it was recently they gave me a temporary tag and that's how come okay no Bigg all right yeah mind so oh they pulled me over so P you back as officers prepared to search her vehicle she became visibly nervous and quickly came up with yet another implausible story well I'm a service car anyway because it smell like weed but like I said if it's just a little bit I ain't worried about that all right no I I told you my friend had I could I could come and talk to you I could be honest I don't talk to me my friend had the car yesterday okay she went and pick something up I got the car back I tell you what look like a littleit to me I'm show you understand come I'm about to look the arm resting so you don't know what's in there I I never went in it okay I my hair just stand in front of my car that's fine just give me a second oh okay uh uh uh-uh there go there go smacking me in the face right there right there right there she saying she didn't know that was there she said she didn't know was she she Pi [Music] up like more I'm [Music] clear wa let me get this out the car see if that just step over here for me oh what yeah I got pulled over just step right here for me I'm I'm not I'm saying I'm not yeah just St over here for me you I know you it's hot right here that's I'm not trying to stand in front of it I was just trying to stand right I'm not going okay I know you going to way if I got a Chas going to be no I'm not running I promise you like I said I don't smoke that much I know she asked me to go my car said cool I was coming back to give my get my keys to my which she didn't my she's at work she came to work for 3:00 I was going to do my tag and drop my friend off whatever she had she was in the armrest that was it so I don't have no reason to lie I'm very upfront very honest there's nothing else in my car that I know of dos nothing no weapons no nothing okay I'm not that type of person but just with the car you know you let people borrow your car MH you feel responsible for it when you get behind it okay yeah but trouble for something like that that I'm not the main officer so I can't tell you that I didn't know until I was already on the road the road okay yeah I was already on the road and when I when I'm in my car my AC is booming my music I'm not paying attention to those no I'm eating I'm drinking see I got my food and my WP in there like I said I was Salon I just literally left the salon you see all the white stuff getting my hair done I'm not going to lie about nothing no no I'm not all right so look this this is what we doing all right M all right so right now you're going to be uh plac on the rest for marijuana uh but if this weighs under an ounce I'm going to let you go on a ticket but if it's over please I got a newborn baby I don't have no family I got you but there's no way you can tell me that's sitting in your middle console you ain't know that I no what I told you posession no no can I can I tell you I'm not going to lie to you this is too tight on my right on my left wrist uh and I just sprank my wrist too recently um yeah a little bit so maybe because of the watch um to be I told I told you I'm not going to lie to you I'm be very up front my friend had my bar the car yesterday when I got the car back today I just literally left the hair salon you can look at my GPS she asked me she said I left something in the car can you drop it up to me I didn't look in the glove compartment because my main concern was when I got the text message from my friend and his wife it was about the plates and I said I did not want to get myself in any [ __ ] so let me come get my key and go and take care of the plates all right so right now I got a newborn baby at home now because you threw that tag on the back of the car also can I didn't throw it on there it's been on there for months but it's been on your car and you put it on there right yeah yeah the guy put my friend put so what I'm saying that's called concealing the identity of a motor vehicle can't do that I I didn't know that so let's let's let's figure everything out I'm going to let you know what's going on I'm not going to keep you in the dark okay so I got to go you want to book me you're going to go to 150 you're going you're going to go to our police department and then and then once we uh figure out how much this weighs cuz this looks like it might be over an ounce I got my give me a second uh the dealer tag hold on you got my purse he's got your purse do not put my purse in the car no no no it's coming with you I don't know I was going to say cuz the keys the car locks automatically I got you it's in the the car it's in my it's coming with you okay okay let me uh hey willby real quick I'm going to run down to uh 150 and weigh this okay and then impound yeah all right uh just have you stand by with the car cuz if it's less than a less than an ounce I ain't taking it down to the jail I might have my spell on it you have one yeah yeah double check yeah I thought I had one but I don't so that makes it fun this is this might be over 28 grand yeah it is I'm [Applause] yeah can I at least tell my my daughter my my my other daughter what's going on give me one second you going to have to let me cuz she's probably going to be scared she's only [Music] 14 and she's calling me I think oh can I answer that call or no give me one second I got enough of this what is this what is this pull it up I don't know okay all right I'm going to check you before you get in my car just standard procedes ahead and your legs anything on your on PO PR stick need knives there's nothing on me at all excuse okay can I can I get my phone just a I got my I got a new B you you'll get it when we get to the P it's right down the street it's not far at all probably approximately 2 or 3 minutes will be you said I could call my daughter when I get there we'll see this not my call I'm just assistant it's the sergeant so can you I just got a newborn baby I just want to reach out to my older daughter that's all I'm asking yeah so phone and your app it's not going to close too much okay that's what I was trying to say want to set a front with you or yeah front at the police station it was determined that the amount exceeded 1 o the woman was arrested and charged with possession of more than an ounce acquiring a license plate for the purpose of concealing a motor vehicle and was transported to deob County Jail that's on private property
