I know the rules I've been a police off for a [ __ ] years okay on August 1st 2020 officers responded to a theft in progress they were advised that an off-duty police officer had stolen a 31-year-old man's phone and was denying it even after the CCTV footage showed otherwise he was very uncooperative from the beginning here's what happened next I'm going draw your attention to this table right shows him on video taking someone's cell phone and walking off with it the person whose cell phone he took doesn't want to press charges if he gets the cell phone back but Mr Jones for whatever reason wants to give all these different answers to not the what we're telling them and we keep trying to explain it to them that myself another officer and everyone El security here at the club have all tried to explain to him that you can clearly see him pick the cell phone up off the table after the other person set it down and walk off with it okay so he wants to sit there and say he doesn't have a cell phone on him I'm not saying he's going to have a cell phone on his person but he clearly took the cell phone and if he can't produce the cell phone then he's going to jail he doesn't seem to be able to wrap his head around this okay uh why why am I being called because he wanted to call his acting Corporal to notify somebody that he's in trouble okay and who this Deputy money Penny with the bib County Sheriff's Office and where are y'all at bib County mon Georgia where are y'all at right now we're at the crazy bull downtown he still refused to produce the phone and cooperate with the officers okay uh let let me talk to GJ again he's he's right here I have not touched his cell phone I've told him several times if they if they would like to search me they can search me they will not search me because they feel like I'm going to hi it some type of way I've told them like hey if you want to search me search me right now I have no problem with that they don't want to search me because they feel like I'm just going to hide it some other type of way and then I'm not you know how I work you know how I deal with domestics you know how I deal with everything you you're being there is without question matter of doubt if I take him to jail he will go to court he will be found guilty because it is clearly on video he just can't get that through his head that the video is like literally it's almost shot like a movie scene that's how clear the video is in this club and where they're at and everything like that there's no one obstructing The View there's nothing it's clear as day him grabbing this person's cell phone and walking off with it okay so where do y'all where where are y'all supposing is at if y'all want search him and look at it or look for it I mean there's there's two other girls are going to go to jail with him because they're they're also with along with him as well so they they either they walked outside are they are they in a car is it supposed to be in a bag is it supposed to be on somebody I don't I don't know where it's supposed to be at he walked off with it and now he doesn't have it you're saying that I'm standing there with um briefly and he's on video taking the phone and putting in his pocket you got to be kidding me yeah I know no I I really wish I was kidding you um and then he um he he then is walking in in the bar he walks past the bar staff he walks past security um in other words he didn't attempt to give the phone to anybody phone to say hey I found a phone all right he was also caught on the outside camera looking at the phone walking away from the club and putting it back in his pocket okay um dep uh corporate money Penny I want to take that way from me sir um got got up here and everybody from the the crazy Bull and even victim was like it's a cop you know and so we're like dumbfounded you know the victim even said if he gives me me back the phone I will not prosecute the guy denied having the phone every time he was asked and you got him on camera got him on camera yes sir oh my god well um he yeah it gets worse it was such a close shot with the taser um all it did was local paying compliance it had no effect at all so I hit him again um I hit him once in the side and once in the right hip um we were then able I was able to grab his arm money Penny had his other and we started bringing him out of the office and there were more deputies on scene and they were able to get control of him so his window is rolled down got plenty of fresh air going back there and it's the police yeah exactly that's you know and that that is one the two things number one he's an officer who stole something that wasn't his and number and number two the victim told him if you just give me my phone back I won't prosecute you and he refused all right then thank you man sad man the cop got be kidding me another officer yep another officer yep I agree yep he had a chance to give up the phone he still didn't do several several times the guy told him that if you just give me my phone I won't prosecute shortly after he was transported to the police department for processing don't tou please
