on January 21st 2023 officers responded to a disturbance involving injuries according to reports an altercation occurred between a male and a female the conflict arose because the female was blocking one of the ramps which was intended for use by the male's wife who was bound to a wheelchair a woman believes that she was wrongly taken into custody after getting into a fight with a man in his 70s she believes race was a factor in her arrest the arrest went viral after being posted to Tik Tock the woman is Black the man involved in the incident white and even though he now faces the most serious charges he was allowed to go home after the fight he hit her first there's three women and and a witness telling you guys so are you arresting him a ticket a ticket but she's getting arrested since the man's over 70 they charge Gibson with a felony third degree assault of an atrisk adult and took her to jail here's how the events unfolded me we C right here to get our balloons and he was by the time I heard what was going on they were already attacking each other and then they were yelling at me inside the doors one of them ran in I was like one I was like okay okay so then all you knew is that there was a fight yeah all I saw was fighting so then when I come outside the gentleman he was holding the top the metal top of the trash can and like the girls were surrounding him they were on him yeah they were surrounding him and they the other two girls were trying to pull one off I guess the one that he punched they were trying to pull her off of but he was holding the metal thing he about to you know slam my head into the wall and slammed my head into the wall you on the back of your head no right there that's where that came from oh that's where that came from okay so it's not from and then you're bleeding on your neck also do you know oh yeah they were scratching and biting and kicking everything else and I'm supposed to put up with this sorry about the dirty ring and tries to threaten to throw it at her and he's like bring it or something bring it or leave bring it on or leave or something like that we're holding her back because he won't stop antagonizing her the lady's telling us to go in as soon as we're trying to go in he wants to come in too so we go out and he comes out he will not leave her alone but he definitely got punched back cuz he punched me first yeah so and and I get it it's a no parking Zone but it's not handicapped okay and this we got the balloons we ordered the balloons ahead of time we came and got them we're putting it in the back you can go on about your business so many people walk past here what does that have to do with you do you live here what wife has a walker so she wouldn't be able to get in it like hit her and she cornered her other friend in the corner and said no to stop and I walked over and got right here too and my sorry and my son came out just to make sure everything was okay and then went back in with the baby the baby and are you wanting to press charges yeah so he said that he was holding the trash can ring to protect himself from the three um he said that he was pushed him into the corner he set me too she they she said the the clerk said when she saw when she started to see they were on him beating his ass that's when he grabbed it right and that's what that's what he told me and said that and then once that was all done he went to go walk back inside and the orange chick came and clocked him one more time in the back of the head does he have injuries on back of his head I didn't see I can't see the back of his head um he said no he didn't feel anything but I didn't see it I took pictures of his forehead and his neck you of all that I do yeah and now going to grab a do they have footage um the she said yes it only go to the doorway though so you'll get the last punch but she can't get it till tomorrow cuz her boss is the female can be seen hitting the male
