on December 8th 2021 a dville police officer responded to a call about a woman being stalked by a neighbor the victim explained the man who lived in the same apartment complex had been harassing her for some time the final straw came when the suspect entered her apartment Uninvited and refused to leave despite repeated requests thankfully her coworker witnessed the incident and captured video evidence on their phone how you doing what's going on today hi hi hey how you doing thank you for coming we actually we wanted to speak with you guys because yesterday we have an incident with a person she lives right on mycil here M it's like like 3 minutes away from here and I had this neighbor that is like obsessed with me apparently and he got into my apartment he broke it into your apartment yeah without me the the he first knocked and then I told him to go away and they were there so then they they they they came in to help me you know get my stuff cuz I was going to go to her house and he walked in and we were trying to you know make him leave we have a video upset and shaken the woman explained this wasn't the first time she mentioned calling the police previously but for unknown reasons no report was filed the officer sincerely apologized and assured her this time things would be different okay yeah let me see that where where was and then we called the police and then the police officer said when he saw the video that said he already knew him and he knew where he lived cuz he he's one of my neighbors and you know so the police officer said I was going to talk to him and we left the GU didn't want to stay there so we don't know what happened if you know a a police report was filed or you know we don't know okay where where where did this happen at at and this happened yesterday yeah last night last night I had this neighbor that that I used to live right under him uh for for a little bit and that's how I met him and then I Mo to a different apartment okay and he's like obsessed with me he wasn't inside of the house we didn't live him that guy right there yes oh and he he's an alcoholic so he he not the first time that he he he was wrong we this was at the end of the incident but he already has I already have pushed my coworker and he was supposed to get the TV but you know he didn't do anything with the TV he was knocking on the door first asking for T I don't know how he knew that I had a TV because you know I think he sped me from his apartment and he was threaten me told me told Monica that he she has to leave he knows her name and you know like there's no way that she he could have known her you know right and the police came out the police came and the police officer when we showed the video he said oh I already know who he is he lives with his mom you know the police apparently knew him or something and he said that he was going to go speak to him to his apartment but then we left so we don't know what happened so I wanted to do something guys because I told him the the officer the police officer yesterday that we were we diplomatics and we have immunities our our place this place and our homes there there supposed to be some and also I'm handicapped and so he knows I can't run away like he was waiting for them to drop he was when we got to my apartment like he the the he was in his van waiting for me apparently and then as soon as they dropped me off and I got into the apartment he didn't even wait for them to leave like he on the door and then I said I'm not alone leave please leave and he left but then when they open I opened the door for them cuz I was going to get my stuff so they were helping me he got into my apartment okay he can't do that you know and it's not the first time that he he drinks and uh I have I have a camera on you know my door and is it a ring camera yeah it's similar okay and he used to knock on my door at like 2:00 a.m. really drunk one time I was at her house and they saw him and luckily I wasn't there but you know her husband told him like please leave you know and he never had done anything do you know what officer came out or what he looked like or anything he was like a like a Arabian guy it was like okay we don't I I give him I give him my car and and and I told him no we're leaving because we're afraid he was asking the officer was asking like are you guys going to be here you know cuz he was going to go talk to this man was like no we're leaving you know it was late at night and I wanted to leave and um we don't know what happened if you talk to him or like what happened because we got into my apartment like he can't do that you know right right he knows I can't run away handic I understand um so nothing was I was just looking at that on my phone nothing was put on in pass on or anything like that I don't know if there's a report made um do you have your ID with you did he get your ID or Tak in that information no I I only give give him my card that's it uh my my presentation my business card okay but I was I was really upset and I told him to the officer if you don't do anything I'm I'm personally I'm going to the police station to make a report because that he's like 30 years older than her yeah he like and he sent FL flowers here he was not the other time like two ago you know and and at first he used to be you know cuz he lived with his mom and they were really nice to me so I would talk to them but I you know I I I want nothing besides that you know and I think he got obsessed with me or something but I don't feel safe anymore and I I had to leave my apartment you know I can't leave that anymore yeah you that's that should never happen do you have your ID with you but what I'm gonna do is this your first what I'm goingon to do is I'm gonna make a report for you of everything that happened all right I'm going to give you a case number with that case number you're going need to go down to the C County Magistrate Court you know where that is the police no the the courthouse the cap County Magistrate Court and the cap County off of Memorial Drive looking up here County yeah the capap County Magistrate Court and with that report you're going to need to go get a CPO okay um now I'll also get with the officer since he claims he knows who he is and try to figure out his um his name and all that for the report I know the guy's name you do know his name okay okay perfect so like I said I'm going to make a report and with that report you need to go down to the C County Magistrate Court and get a TPO placed on him okay that's a temporary protection order all right well that's going to do is if he comes back if it's granted if he comes back at all for any reason you call us he'll be arrested on site for violation of that okay no questions asked um I don't know why a report wasn't made last night it should have been made and all this information should have been related to you at that point um so I do apologize for that uh like I said I'm going to make the report now and we'll go from there okay if you do get home today or you don't feel safe or anything like that I'm I'm staying in your house hair to my to my place and I I also I didn't I didn't even know how how he knew my name he was tell Monica to give away tell his [ __ ] to to live here right they and he only knows me you know so like I don't I don't even know you know right he's and and because we're Diplomat not hard to find out who we are you know like that's I think that's how he he knows right my car I I didn't even saw him and he he was he know he know he knows that I watch Monica and that my car I don't know if he's very enough ion the officer diligently recorded statements from the woman and her coworker he also provided helpful information on how to stay safe moving forward I know I I I didn't like that he was like oh I know I'm and she said I'm got back inun so how what so and he and and the police officer kept kept asking me like what did he want like why was he here I'm like I don't know like he just know like why am I supposed to know why what he want exactly I'm going to put all y'all in the report cuz all y'all were there and witnessed it okay it doesn't make any sense I mean like I said a report should have been done less and I've heard from a couple of people that he tell them he girlfriend or something and you know yeah yeah you definitely shouldn't you should had a report last night for this no and then at the first time he he was like a neighbor a friendly neighbor you know yeah that's how I you know I had a very close relationship to them cuz he lives with his mom and you know his his mom is like an old lady and you know they were always nice to me like they even met my mom when she came to visit but it was fine you know but now he's like obsessed there's that um like I said I'm going to go get you a case number right now for this um if he does come back if he comes back tonight call us okay or if you see him on your ring camera call us tell us there's a guy outside of my apartment he's not supposed to be there he's been stalking me and we'll send we'll send an officer out and if he's still there or if they do know this guy then they'll go find him and talk to him again um was weird he was he was with with another guy and when he came back when he get out of the Guard they went to the the door and when I park in front of them the other guy put on he he went his hi like under the under the stairs the stair yeah you know if the neighbor is asking for something not he doesn't they doesn't behave like that right right I was like so I was waiting I was waiting and day he started to argue with me tell me by my name that I have to leave that I was a [ __ ] and I don't know I didn't know because I was I I I didn't hear very well because I was calling to the police right now but my two workers they were I no we we are waiting for here for something go away you are not supposed to be here right and then he got into my apartment CU I let I let them in help me get my stuff so forc his way into your apartment my my door the door was open my door was open because they were there we were leaving we were leaving and then he he he walked in you know and he was and I was like yelling at him like please leave me alone and he was like do do you want that do you want that like he was even asking me you know like yes please leave and you know and as you can see he was supposed he was supposed to ask you for the TV and he left without without because when when I let them in I I cuz I I had a TV that another neighbor gave me but I don't even know how he knew that I that one and and when when he when the TV was outside the TV that what he he was supposed to asking he was the TV was over there and he left without the TV something okay all right um save those videos and you have your video camera on your door so save those as well because that will be very helpful in court to establish that hey this guy's constantly coming over knocking on my door harassing me okay I'll be right back all right excuse me I'll be everything show them the video okay and they should crant you with TPO they might they might not I don't know do I need to get do I do I need to see that man G or most likely no um I'm not 100% sure I apartment complex officers found the suspect at home and apprehended him without incident I can see this being very peaceful and smooth but if it goes sideways uh believe it is going to be up top this yeah so oh it's a long story um they were friendly after first when she first moved in here she live used to live right underneath them she's handicapped she can't get up the stairs very easily so she moved over there when she first moved in she had a boyfriend both of them were kosher they were very friendly and everything like that she uh saw or she saw him at the mailbox one day asked her to or ask him to help her get the mail yada yada y everything was fine breaks up with her boyfriend when the problem started he would come over start knocking on the door throughout the night throughout the day random times um he would uh send flowers to her job knew her coworker name full name and all this other stuff um One n he came over here started banging on the door so aggressively while she wasn't here but her camera picked it up and they had to tell him to leave uh or they were going to call the police last night he gets 26 comes down here to the uh apartment sits in front of there with another dude and wait for her to get off work and then when she gets off come out and ask her about a TV that one of the neighbors gave her that he she never have known about period like there's no way that he should know he should have known that but uh he makes his way into the apartment somehow last night and they called the police it took uh units like 30 minutes to respond out here and by that time he went over he went back over here whoever responded went and talked to him and that was it but they didn't feel right about it still she's terrified to come back to a damn apartment you know so went ahead and I mean I don't understand why a report wasn't made why I mean but I don't know what they told him last night you know so all this came up today she called us back that's why I took the report and got the charges I mean I figured I had enough and obviously I did so yeah yeah no I mean I got a 1091 and rout just waiting on them okay so um we'll see how this goes just got to let you know you got any weapons or anything like that and taking it to the cab it can be charged across the GU line which is okay check in I don't have knife or nothing come on out all
