on February 1st 2022 ostell police officers responded to a call in ostell Georgia about a man discharging a firearm at a dog the officers promptly arrived at the scene and quickly located the suspect upon detaining the individual officers conducted a thorough search the suspect explained that he had recently acquired a non-drivable bike through a Facebook transaction and was pushing it to his home he encountered a dog approaching him overcome by fear he discharged chared his firearm into the air not at the dog just explain to me what happened just got the bik you're good now you're I can't bre I just throwing up right there but we got to throw turn around on the grass and throw up all right now you got this bike here you know it's not running properly so I had to walk it back to back to the other side of the road you know Maxum Road okay yep I'm walking there come through the cut as I'm walking I see the dog approaching me you know so I just pull out my gun and at that time I hold it what kind of dog was it it was a lightskinned dog Brown like Tanish okay and I pointed at the dog but I don't really want to shoot the dog so I like to away from the away from the um children but into like a shot shot it and the dog ran back and said why would you shoot shoot at the damn dog it it wasn't going to hurt you who say at that the lady I guess she worked there or something El okay so you fired in the air correct okay so after that then what happened and then she said that and I kept walking and I stopped right here you know what I'm saying I know that I I did what I did so I'm not I put on the impounds there to be on the sa side I put on the impound spip inoperable cuz I don't want him to come back cuz he said the bike he was pushing it cuz it want something wrong with he may been around there eating so it's probably walking toward him to eat it but when whenever he said whatever they couldn't make out what he said he said something to the dog and the dog just kept walking toward him and that's when he took it she said he took it out of his pants and fired dog took off running they said why are you doing that right next to a school and he didn't say nothing kept walking so with it kept walking I'm going to assume that he probably was walking it yeah yeah he walking it so he I can't charge him with yeah no insurance cuz if he had rote the bike he been pushing it if it's not operable yeah we can't yeah we can't I can't charge okay good so well then yeah that makes sense that makes sense why he couldn't just get away yeah cuz he would have just took off if the
