on February 9th 2025 Flagler County sheriff's deputies responded to a Walmart in Palm Coast Florida regarding a shoplifting in progress the store's loss prevention team reported that a black male wearing a blue shirt had attempted to steal a shopping cart full of items and fled when confronted [Music] [Music] meanwhile his partner in crime his girlfriend managed to leave Walmart undetected with a cart full of unpaid items a Walmart employee informed deputies that the suspect had just been seen entering a black vehicle deputies quickly located it and conducted a traffic stop some of your hands oh I don't want to draw down on them no I'm not going to hey y put your hands out the window help y'all put your hands out the window hands out the window thank you back passenger window down lady you talking about I don't know she had a um she didn't have nothing no she didn't have nothing like but she said something to you or you said something to her or what oh no I I no I I just spoke to her and said I she's doing she said uh um you got a uh a receipt I'm like I'm going up here to Whatchamacallit I had some stuff to return and stuff but she was making a big deal out of it so I just like walked out the store man cuz I didn't want where's the stuff you returning I don't have it I don't tell it take nothing okay where did the stuff you returning come from no I'm saying I had stuff in my car okay I'm a little upset and nervous yeah you're good yeah that's why I want you to just like calm down I need to understand what happened so subcribe it to there all right I was coming I was I was in the store I was getting ready to turn out and go towards the uh whatam call it I wanted to put some uh money on my card so I can pay for my Whatchamacallit uh pay for my stuff my ID okay okay um the lady stopped me and made this whole big deal the ordeal and I didn't know who she was so I'm like man you know what I didn't take nothing that's all I know I didn't steal nothing and I didn't take nothing all where did she talk to you at at the like uh right before the door okay but I didn't take nothing I didn't nothing I didn't take nothing I didn't go out the door with it you know what I mean I left the car in there so I did not take nothing so you just went back and got your car in park lot no what happened no I I waited I went I walked off and walked off cuz I didn't want I don't know what's going on I just want to I just want to clarify what was it you you were returning though man I left my return thing in there I ain't even so what what were you returning no I had a c right get everything straight we need the story we're good so I just had a uh a a uh like a six pack of shirts I was going to try to uh return and you just left them there no I had I left everything in there everything I was going to get I left cuz but where's the shirts you were returning they still in the store you just left your property there I come it's a return so you walked in with the shirt yeah no no I'm saying I didn't I didn't leave out the store with nothing no I'm saying like you brought the shirt specifically to the store to exchange well I was going tochange brother man no okay Uber before we realized what was happening we crash and as we started looking we're looking for a person so I call Walmart get some details they're like he's in a black he he's at the light right now we were pulling out by Texas Roadhouse we just watched them turn on the pal Coast Parkway so tell me about this lady I don't know who that lady was what did she say to me uh she was like hey how you doing I said hey how you doing she like you okay uh yeah he was F my what I did Sir I got to detain you for that warrant for uh for pollution oh man so we're just going to we're just going to go with that right now yeah just trying to move your watch a little bit so I'm trying to get you watch Buton but we're going to do that real quick that's it yeah cuz I have to detain you for that you guys together to I understand I still got to get her name why for what because right now I still got to figure out ton of information from Walmart that's about yeah man I I want Happ to my D okay all right denied any involvement and gave them a false name step out the car let's talk well she's I'm about to confirm unless did they give any other description they give any other desp I need to talk okay searched her bags and found items from Walmart but no receipts to prove they were purchased they didn't bother you found any receipts with any of this those was those was I mean so you pass it's got to be it's got oh e think the rest of this stor I I can get her to tell me yeah I know it but I would just saying you didn't have the intent I'm saying you can articulate that you did that's what can find I didn't know the lady was still standing out she was still standing there the whole entire enre time on the phone you hear me whistling I heard all of that that's why I know what direction to go at that's why I had the man to break do the U-turn to pick you up oh that bush but if that man would have kept straight we would have got away I know it I got a feeling Walmart's not going to want you guys back there good telling them to get they stuff and I'm and and they don't have to worry about me no more all right they might do a trespass for you thank you that's all I need they can get their stuff back and I'm sorry cuz they didn't catch me and I don't need another charge I already got to deal with this one all right damn I got arrested on my son birthday he was charged with shoplifting and an active warrant she was charged with shoplifting providing a false name to law enforcement and an active warrant both were transported to the sheriff Perry Hall inmate detention facility he help me with these cuffs what's up he's close I I left one finger space when I when I picked him the first time oh what's going on now ain't no space the first thing they're going to do when they get you in there is take them off so it's going to be in a few minutes but I I can't I know the first time I I fixed them I can't make him any looser than that just don't move your wrist around though cuz that just irritates some more hey
