come on no I'm not you're going to go to jail I'm going to taser you back will you quit stop it C she just hit me I [Music] still on July 31st 2022 officer Ashlin Pluff found herself in a tough situation that would later be considered the biggest mistake of her career the police officers including Ashlin came up to the guests too aggressively they started shouting hey who lives here you know we who's the owner can talk to who lives here I got this ain't got nothing to do with us I'm asking who lives here all why y coming close arrest him him him and them arrested they don't want to leave they arrested you don't leave you arrested do that to y'all what did you mean to your head why you pushing me off the don't stay back don't stay back the situation got worse quickly officers started arresting guests without clear reasons they told everyone to either go inside the house or leave but their instructions were confusing and random one officer tried to explain but it was hard to hear over the confused guests I okay I'll explain to you I stood here and I told everybody to go in the house listen are you going to let me explain or you don't talk over me you didn't see me just stop talk don't talk over me let me explain it first I stood here I told everybody in here either go in the house or or leave I also asked who the homeowner was so I knew who lived here so I could talk to that individual to take responsibility for his home to make sure everybody got inside the house or left as after I said that nobody moved I said you're going to jail if you don't move nobody moved and then and then and then I walked away hold on bud you're on the porch you didn't go in the house excuse me you didn't go in the house I told you in the house I told you to leave you stood on the porch everybody stood on the porch going the jail fail to obstru official business dis cond there's all kinds of things you guys did that were wrong okay then that's what it happened that's all that's all it was if everybody would just listen to what we say and just go and leave we wouldn't have to anybody to everybody done I got on white you ain't see these white sh I literally just came out here I don't know what the [ __ ] you feel me literally I just took a [ __ ] can't hear I just in the house and took [ __ ] fine but the wor part of the night happened when Ashlin got into a fight with a guest named OA Jones who was an Olympic medalist boxer Ashlin started hitting Jones for no clear reason right in front of many people she said she did it because Jones wasn't cooperating and was resisting arrest he said that he wasn't listening that's why he got arrest oh he's going to get an obstruction he's going to resist arrest he's going to get we got cameras so it's okay listen we got camera s so let's go pull this camera so you can watch how y actions work so y'all can get how about that regardless he's going down you can't talk to him right now he'll be out what did he go down for he was on the board he just told you he said you been told and you know that come on bro I mean we weren't over there so we don't know like he not he not res arrest resis arrest I me my porch understand why would I why Would You Yank me off my porch because the I get you guys are upset but we weren't there Court off all it we don't know his badge number it's on there let me go it's public record it'll be on the it'll be on there no you don't need it it's going to say the arresting officer I don't have it I don't have a you can't number your number record give me your phone give me your 274 I didn't I didn't know you were talking to me she Y in front of my face act out like that I didn't act out while I was my I'm disappointed you J you're not doing your job the right way have a seene in there let's this time but what happened had big effects on Ashley the video of what she did went everywhere and people were really angry about it now she was in big trouble she might lose her job and everything she had worked hard for after Ashlin faced difficulties another incident came to light that made everyone look even closer at her actions in Florida a situation unfolded that showcases a classic case of misunderstanding can turn into a big problem David unlike the Florida woman involved managed to handle a similar situation calmly however the woman in question found herself wrongly accused of shoplifting and reacted quite differently do you want to sit in my car no I don't want to sit in your car and I'm not s call Sergeant no you a see me steal nothing then show me your receipt I will not show me your receipt I won't if you took it without paying for it all they all they all they want to do I don't steal okay then show me your receipt I won't do that then show me your receipt I won't do that why I won't do that because do you realize you can go to jail for that oh I real if I stole it but I don't steal you're not cooperating I'm not cooperating because you ain't got no problem C cuz they said something go watch the camera first I'll walk back in there with you and go watch the camera no I'm upset cuz I see day I don't have access to the camera so how they going to say I stole if they didn't see me still ma'am what is your name what's your name come down what's your name no that that I see this every day listen to me every day you think I want abely do you think I want any trouble right but do you know how many people don't walked in that stuff while you here B me in steing ma'am they simply asked if you had a receip they didn't see you go through a register that's why they go through all the registers and ask the people if they seen me ma'am I let's come on let's walk back in there where's your receipt come on let's walk back let's walk back in there bring your receipt let's walk back in there your receipt let's walk back let's walk back in there just show me your receipt no cuz that's no I'm not going to I'm not letting you go back in the store is that you receed from today it is but I'm not showing cuz I ain't got no I y'all don't can't make me show nothing I can no you actually I can and you're not giving me your ID so I can't prove that you didn't take anything have no anyways why are we arguing about this because y'all profile black people every day like that everybody that shops in here is black everybody's house here is black no everybody ain't well most of them are they is we canile I see I see y'all up here every day bothering people I don't anybody whoever can you just show me your receipt no I'm not going to do that cuz that makes absolutely no sense at all I'm not going to can I see your receipt mm no cuz they if they call if they sent you out here that that means they saw me still the argument between the woman and the officer heated up quickly despite the officer knowing she wasn't the correct suspect the woman's refusal to Simply show her receipt led to an even more tense situation the officer unable to believe the res istance over such a simple request eventually pointed a taser at her as the confrontation escalated they didn't see you go through a register why not do that protocol is to go look on the camera step out of the car step out the car and come with me steing out no car then you're going to go to jail but then you going to have to take me to jail okay step out of the car I'm not stepping out no car okay you got kid you all these kids in here you left in here by yourself do you want me to push this further well you went in the store they they not little kids oh they are little kids and you left them all in the store and what are you going to do do when you go to jail and they're all here so I call DCF to come get them all my mom will stay right around the corner okay so I don't have to call your mom to come get them I can call DCF they my sister kids they they'll call her to come get her children why don't you show me your receipt because Publix and everybody in there okay step out of the car I'm not stepping out of the car you have to step out of the car no you have to call your sergeant or your Lieutenant come on no you're going you're going to go to jail no I'm not you're going to go to jail yes you are no I'm not give me your receipt I'm not giving you my come no I'm not no I'm not you're going to jail I'm you're going to jail I'm not no arrested her the officer found the receipt in her pocket proving she bought the stuff legally then she sued the supermarket called Publix for $50,000 because of what happened but in December 2021 a judge in Duval County Florida said her lawsuit couldn't be tried again and dismissed it that's the end of our cases about big mistakes and misunderstandings we looked at how quick decisions can change
