On February 21st, 2023, Sandy Springs police responded to a theft at Planet Fitness. A witness saw a man pick up a camouflage wallet and alerted staff, but the man left before they could confront him. Later, the witness spotted him and his girlfriend entering Whole Foods and called the victim who contacted 911. Officers were talking with the witness and victim when the couple walked out. >> And he said, "Net picked it up." And I thought I was going to give it to the membership folks and I was like, "Did you just take that wallet?" And then he just took it. And so then they were leaving. I got my call. I was like, "There's no way I just took the wallet." And I went back and I said, "Hey, did somebody um >> report a camouflage wallet?" That's I did somebody report a camouflage wallet.
