on June 4th 2022 a foresight County Sheriff's deputy observed a U-Haul truck driving without its headlights on in Alpharetta Georgia the deputy initiated a traffic stop but instead of pulling over safely onto the shoulder or Gore area the driver abruptly hit the brakes put the truck in park in the middle of the road and jumped out of the vehicle what's up Manon what how good come over here what's going on I'm just trying to figure out I saw you Dro no lights what's going on with that I was trying to figure out cuz I wasn't trying to do the H just the regular um headlights okay have you don't know that the jails don't tell us the bond amounts I I don't know and I don't even know what all these Char for something that's not even like it's not violent no no I mean obstruction is a violent charge yeah I didn't I didn't hurt anybody I'm the one that got hurt I didn't hurt anybody but you physically resist it you you can't physically resist law enforcement 44 44 even if I feel like I'm in if I'm in danger if I see somebody else put your hands behind your back you get handcuff and you say look I'm scared can you tell me what's going on and then we peacefully tell you exactly what's going on and if you haven't done anything we take you out of handcuffs and leap but you're Jumping All Around the car making them nervous we don't know if you got a gun we don't know if you're v i and that's the same thing for for my end I don't know what's going to happen I get it man I get I I understand how the world is but just because we're wearing this uniform don't we want to don't the suspect was charged with obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers 2 counts possession of marijuana under 1 oz driving while license suspended and defective headlights Additionally the suspect was placed on hold for the New Jersey parole board he was transported to the foresight County jail for booking [Music]
