on February 25th 2023 a police officer pulled over a vehicle for a minor traffic violation in Fort Walton Beach Florida when asked for ID and registration the driver stated he didn't have his driver's license on him but provided his name and date of birth hello how you doing good how about good my name is AER with the for Department all right so the reason I'm pulling you over today as staff and uh fery okay you know I'm talking about that intersection right there St is staff and all right so so right there at that intersection you see this paint of white bar right here this big one yes sir okay so you're past that and you're in the crosswalk okay staff and Ferry yes sir so you know where Ferry Park is you know where Ferry Park is across from Fair part yeah that intersection right there uh uh I mean I don't I don't recall being that far out sir I usually stop before it just so I could come to a stop you w I mean I'm not yeah so that's I'm just telling you the reason so the reason why that Stop Bar is there is make sure you stop check for pedestrian traffic first sir then you can move forward if you can't because of like obstructions and stuff like that yes sir I apologize it's all good information everything appeared to check out however during the conversation the officer noticed drug paraphernalia and a knife inside the vehicle I take you the addresses at out of Safety Harbor and Tampa are no longer good right no sir no sir okay what's your current address um okay my screen's broken this half I can't use it PA oh yeah they they're asking for a copy of the insurance I just got pulled over apparently I can't went across the line and they need I don't have your insurance I regra nothing else but I Insurance why how are you in her car she went to Alabama and she want her car here yeah that hey I thought she told you already I mean now but you check uh for that subject for medical marijuana C when the officer inquired about a marijuana license the driver initially said yes dispensed uh I was dispensed yeah yeah trying to get it there at at that point officers asked him to step out of the car but he refused the situation escalated when officers attempted to remove him from the vehicle 8710 um last time I was dispensed it's been a while since I myself have bought some but all right all right hey go hey do me a favor go ahead and step and step out of the car for me okay go ahead and step out for what because I'm asking to and if you don't I'm going to pull you out and I really don't want to do that so so now what is what is is all this for I'm going to tell you about it in in just to know now all right I'll tell you right now I need you to step out of the car please don't give me a reason to make this a bigger deal than it needs to be but I'm not giving you charged with attempted felony murder aggravated battery with a deadly weapon fleeing and alluding possession of a controlled substance providing a false name while lawfully detained resisting arrest without violence and depriving law enforcement officers of communication both officers and the driver were treated for minor injuries at Fort Walton dtin Medical Center the dude's t he's in that car
