that was foolish what are you doing on November 5th 2023 an officer on patrol noticed a suspicious woman near a business she was rumaging through a donation bag filled with items for donation the property had strictly prohibited trespassing and had removed unwanted individuals in the past as soon as the officer stopped his vehicle the woman began to run away here's what happened next uh-uh come here uhh come here this chick's running from me we're heading towards Marty's Place stop Polie black female blue dress stop police run towards George stay down or you're going to get tased what Salvation Army she's scraped up and Fallen RBA when you're available I want my shoe soon backup arrived to assist the officer you got anything on you anything on you what J where's your ID at stay still just grab a hold of her so she don't run like she scraped up I didn't know all rightand get that out of the way yeah I don't know if she even speaks English dude how's your English not on not on this side oh Corrections got a couple may one can come out and help me out real quick they done it for me one time what's your name ma' I'm going to search you okay do you have anything anything sharp anything sharp anything illegal no okay 6969 okay okay I'm just looking I'm just looking I can't I can ask like simple things like birthday and name maybe where she do can you shine her light on her hair Stu going on good evening we got in a small foot chase probably cuz she was stealing from there and she scraped her knees falling on the sidewalk over there okay so you just check her out yeah I've been on um been on anel did you have anything anything else your arm namas it looks like just a little bit of an abrasion there but we have ID on or anything oh right here yeah but I don't think it's I don't think it's accurate you speak Spanish how do you say say birthday your birthday so Fe I say February febru February those um I'm I'm scared but if you come you come he tell me who are you who are you I'm I the the here I'm chicken I'm making I'm checking but you go tell me I'm not in the I'm not in the I'm okay form have sign we came out um yeah you get the camera on they sign shortly after another officer arrived to translate what the woman wanted to convey good evening off torus this is family I just showed up and was able to ride me with her passport and ID and stuff she uh CRI speaker but speaks Spanish okay um basically all I saw was her flashlight and her going through a bag over here so I was just going to say hey don't be stealing items you know all that she looked up at me all scared and it was rather comical when she fled and this is her family that just showed up okay what do you want me to ask her what she realized I was a police officer why she ran she was going she said yes she saw you she said she said that when you approached her you said hey hey she got scared so she ran what was she doing she said she dropped off clothes and when she dropped stuff off she just wanted to see what was what else would had what have been dropped off what was already here so why did she keep running when I told her to stop she said just she was scared can you explain to her my thoughts on your here after hours of the flashlight items whether she donated them or not so I got to ask him whether she's stealing and just stop her and she runs from me um she said basically that she was scared she acknowledges she was in the wrong um that she's just been real emotional and when you yelled at her hey hey hey she got scared she's pretty much running before I even said anything explain it to family I'm not going to do the whole LMP thing cuz I kind of believe her about the clothes um and I don't want to Jammer up too much CU you got kids to come home to what I'm upset is I'm here for a lawful purpose she wants to flee from law enforcement even after being told to stop she'd have kept running if she didn't F all right so what's she's going to jail for resisting without violence and if you could just tell the family that uh that's what's going on right now her first appearance and all that so that's the only thing that she's getting I'm not going to do that okay I don't want to you speak English yeah oh oh that's your husband boyfriend what okay did they did they explain to you what happened or you want me to explain in Spanish is that better you just say uh she run for a yes that's why she get arrested right yes so here's what here's what's here's what's going to happen um do do you speak Spanish dool she is going to go to jail for resisting okay she's not going to get any other charges they're not going to charge her with anything over here okay we believe her he believes her that she dropped off clothes and she believes what she's saying but she's going she's going to get taken for the charge of resisting for running and then when he when he gave her a lawful command to stop multiple times she continued to run she continued to run all through there all the way out out there okay so that's why she's going to go to jail it's going to be for resisting maybe if you go to the website if you go to the to the keyso website maybe you can you can watch it I think maybe there's a link you can watch first appearance the name is first [Applause] appearance the female was charged with resisting arrest YouTube thinks you'll love the
