on September 27th 2022 Flagler County Sheriff's Office responded to a distress call in Palm Coast Florida involving the Abduction of a one-year-old child the child's mother had stepped out to receive a pizza delivery when her boyfriend snatched the baby driving away with the child on his lap and a handgun in toe like it's still Southbound on Belt approaching white view all right what happened I don't even know he literally was like he snapped I have noing idea okay well what what happened I need you to tell me like literally I ordered pizza he was coming outside he left his gun in the car so he was coming out to get it and he let the dogs out and as he was doing that I got the notification that the pizza was coming so I was like bring the dogs back inside bring them back inside the piz's coming and in that second he just flipped and he was like how do you know that blah blah blah and just like went crazy he grabbed my phone he started going through copy I'm working on it the neighbor down the street he doesn't like and he's back in town or something and he saw his car and like that freaked him out too why is is there any court documents saying that he's the father he's on the birth certificate he's on the birth certificate that's his dad okay but there's nothing from the courts determining that he's a father I don't know not that I know I no we've been together since 214 and 216 direct no court documents you just on the birth certificate before I need to like CS are going to make it worse I think okay did he like hit you at all or no he didn't touch me he literally grabbed he had the baby in his hands I was cutting up his pizza cuz it got delivered and he just kept looking around everywhere like something was following him he was like he was just saying it like why would you do this to me why would you do this to me like I was setting him up or something I was like I I what are you doing I was like you're freaking me out and me freaking me doing that made it worse I don't know he had my son the whole time he wouldn't give him to me we came outside the neighbors were outside he got he went go get in the car and put it in reverse and that's when he had my baby on the LA and I said no with my baby now with my baby he put it in reverse and he started going and I went to grab him and I was fighting with him to give him to me and he wouldn't give him to me and that's when all the neighbors came over and he was like just I was like just let him go just let him go because it's going to be bad and he just the neighbor tried to follow him but he lost him oh my God my phone die okay do you have um do you have your ID with you made my house okay you grab it for me so he took the uh the kid he's not I mean he's only on the birth certificate as the father no court documents or anything like that uh she tried to grab the baby from him uh he just took off um yeah yeah let me just confirm that with her real quick and then uh I'll give you a call back here shortly all right all right so since he's not like the legal father on the uh do you want Diesel he's not in the house okay hey do you want to pursue charges real quick for him taking your baby no no he just immediately started accusing me like that I was setting him up I don't know that's what I'm saying I don't know if he took something and this is like causing him to be this way I don't know confirm with her he was coming outside to go get his gun and he let the dogs outside and I had just got the notification on my phone that the person was pulling up with the pizza so I said my I have two P so I said bring them back inside like they're going to jump all over the pizza person I brought them back inside and he was like he's just immediately started acting weird and like got paranoid as [ __ ] looking around looking around what did you do what are you doing why is the neighbor in town like weird questions so that the one neighbor told him that oh make sure you shut the lights off I'm assuming because of the [ __ ] hurricane I have no fing clue like he was just saying all these things over and over again why would you do this to me just looking around he opened the front door wide open came out here he was holding my son the whole time wouldn't let him go I asked him for him like over 20 times give me my kid give me my kid give me my kid and he just wouldn't let him go then we it came out here I kept telling him to bring diesel inside I was like bring the dogs inside like we've gotten multiple complaints about the dogs outside bring the dogs inside and he's like why do you want them inside why do you inside getting paranoid so I was standing in the kitchen and I said I was like I'm going to call 911 I'm going to call 911 I'm going to call 911 and he was like no don't don't you're just going to make it worse why would you do this why would you do this to me just freaking out I was just trying to deescalate the situation so I can get mying kid back it carries out out here because I tried to get diesel back inside and then he just gets down to the car and he's just looking all in the car checks the trunk just looked at and everything looking if somebody was in the car apparently is he diagnosed with anything no does he take any medication I PTSD probably like I don't know he does what he probably has PTSD very likely from what all the [ __ ] that he's seen all the [ __ ] that he's not like I don't know is he a vet no but he's but he's been he's just been around bad people like he's been shot in the foot twice like he just he his history is not good he's been Baker acted before but that was like years ago like this is never happened to me with him like he's been sober like I don't know what happened yeah a concerned neighbor witnessed the abduction and immediately attempted to follow the suspect but lost sight of him [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] shortly after deputies located the vehicle and attempted to stop it but the suspect fled recklessly speeding over medians and through oncoming traffic [Music] [Music] the chase led to a nearby Target shopping center and ended at a McDonald's drive-thru where the man got out of the car clutching the baby and using the child as a human shield the vehicle look like it's holding into the Target shopping in McDonald's right now show me youring hands dude put the baby down put hospital and was later booked into the sheriff Perry Hall inmate detention facility he was charged with kidnapping using a minor as a shield resisting with violence child neglect fleeing and eluding
