On October 24th, 2022, officers with the Atlanta Police Department responded to a reported burglary in progress in Atlanta, Georgia. A 911 caller advised that two males were captured on surveillance video stealing packages from the location. While continuing to monitor the footage, the caller informed dispatch that the suspects were leaving the scene in a red Tesla. Moments later, officers spotted a red Tesla in the area with its trunk partially open and multiple packages visible inside. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. >> It looked like maybe they work for the company. They're pulling over. Um the packages are in the trunk of the vehicle. >> And are they still in the parking lot? >> Yes, they're right around the corner. They're pulling over. Both suspects were transported to the Atlanta Police Department for questioning where officers explained the seriousness of the charges they were facing. >> 272. >> That's a male. That's a felony. >> But the elements are we had to bundle it because of um you need three addresses or nine packages and we like right there. So we had we was able to use it for each location and we were burglary then possession of the tools possession of firearm felony possession of meth. >> It was a gun that the the smiley face bag. The passenger was charged with three counts of possession of stolen mail, possession of burglary tools, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce, and burglary. The driver was charged with three counts of possession of stolen mail, possession of burglary tools, possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce, possession of methamphetamine and burglary. Both were transported to Fulton County Jail. Is that a function?
