On July 2nd, 2022, Brook Haven Police Department responded to a disturbance at an apartment complex in Brook Haven, Georgia, where a birthday celebration took a dark turn. The celebration, initially intended for a male friend's birthday, quickly devolved into a physical altercation involving his female companions. Upon arrival, officers encountered a perplexing scene. A male individual stood in the parking lot, unable to provide coherent details about the incident. He claimed to have injured his hand by striking a wall rather than engaging in altercations with the females involved. I had girlfriends, not girlfriends, but like you know like as example say she's like your your friend that's a girl a girlfriend. Not like serious. But like don't even but like say like if I'm like you his girlfriend but not like on that level. You get what I'm saying? But y'all y'all not you get what I'm saying? So, okay. Try to go around. According to the women, the group had ventured to Atlantis restaurant lounge to celebrate their friend's birthday. So I told him, I don't want nobody spend the night cuz I felt like he hit me. He was already on 10 cuz he's drunk. So we get here, I tell him, I don't want nobody spending the night. We leave. Everybody leaves. They're calling me. I hear knocks at my door. I lante comes to the door, opens the door. I said, "What's the problem?" I'm asking, "What's the He said, "You're blaming me for hitting Chloe." Y I'm like, "Nobody's blaming me for hitting." I said, "Darus is going to hit her." Seven is seven. It's over there. Okay. I go, "She is." So, get them out of here. That's all I want to know. I just want them. I want my door fixed. I'm trying to go. I got work tomorrow. I have money. So this is a this is the once you went to the door, you closed the door and it kicked it in. I literally put I was literally right here. I was my makeup is right here. I was looking at the door while he's throwing the cake and then he kicked it and I I literally did kicked that cuz the whole door frame and that's when my face gets cut. She came out with her teeth. Oh my god. She genuinely did. Saw him hit her kind of back up. Then he came back and did it again down there down here. Yeah. Pull right there. And that was the heavy set. Me and her got in the bed. We hear knocking. We let it ride. We hear knocking again, beating, kicking, whatever. I said, "Okay, I'm going to get up. She going to get She got up. I get up. Then she gets up and puts clothes on." Cuz I hear him again. He hits the door so hard and knocks her back. Then I come outside. I said, "Do you know what you just did? You just knocked your front door." He yolked me on that corner right there. On the corner right there. I don't know how my house. I don't give one sec. I don't want Yeah. I mean, I thought she does. Mhm. And I'll get your that uh car over there on the side. Okay. So, I saw him like standing on the street like right here in front of his car kind of like waving and so but I couldn't hear cuz I was on the phone. So, I kind of just watched for a second and then he started to like walk up and so I came up here and was like, "You need to leave. You need to leave." Push her through her and then start backing up, you know, a couple times. But he doesn't. After collecting statements from all parties involved, officers asked the male suspect about his side of the events again. He adamantly insisted that the altercation was just a friendly game and denied hitting anyone. I want y'all to shoot. Did you already tell him your side of the story? What happened?
