On November 14th, 2023, Chambley police officers responded to a call about a man who hit a tent with his car in a Lowe's parking lot in Chamble, Georgia. When an employee approached him, he began shouting about a kidnapping, prompting the call to police. >> Say what? >> What are you talking about? >> What are you talking about? >> I don't. >> Okay, that's fine. And the other cop was up there parked in front of the building like supervising. And what happened over there? >> What happened over there, sir? >> There's all kinds of blood outside the building. You know, everybody don't have to be scared of them anymore. >> The mob >> and nobody even went to look for it. Anybody was kidnapped. >> How you doing? >> Are you the one that called? >> Yeah, I am. >> Okay. What was going on? >> So, we were leaving the building. We just locked the building. >> We got contact with him. >> And so, we we just noticed something parked over here. So, my the she's the closing man. It's probably y'all dispatching that. >> Yeah, that's probably just >> So, he circled around his lights off. He pulled it on me. He said, "Are you involved in this?" >> And I asked him, "Involved in what?" And he sped around over here and he slammed into the side of the I heard him hit it at first and then uh it sound like he had hit our the side of we have pallet sitting right here so he can't get in. >> Okay. >> It sound like he drove into it. heard it twice. I came around the corner and yelled at it was all right. And you yelled at me that there's people that have been kidnapped. >> Okay. >> And he said they were inside of here. And then he turned around and backed. I saw him back into it and ran over some pallets and stuff. At which point, I mean, I called y'all cuz I didn't know what the deal was with them. >> So, what pallets did he run over? >> We have him to keep from getting in there. >> Did he uh damage any of them? >> It doesn't look like it's going to be >> Did he run into a fence or anything? >> No, he just damaged. I think he got damaged by when he >> This front bumper looks a little messed up. I think he drove through this part, but >> Okay. >> He just this whole area right here. See how we have it off? >> Oh, yeah. >> So, he just he knocked this pole over. >> Okay. >> So, I mean, we probably got the call to get them to fix it. >> Whatever that is. He drove around there for a second and parked and then came back around and then parked behind there is where y'all is where y'all approach him. So we have to go with less than $500 for right now till y'all get a receipt. >> Um what charges we got? >> Yeah. Um, so I guess he's going to call his manager and see if Lowe's wants to prosecute. Otherwise, we've got his warrant. >> Um, all he all he did was knock a pole out of place in there. >> I don't know that he really like damaged anything. I mean, sure like hit and run cuz I guess he hit this tent and drove off. >> Huh? Huh? Got an ankle monitor on, too. Again, you do the right thing. Touch not my profit and do my anointed no harm. >> He was charged with hit and run, reckless driving, and property damage, and was booked into the Decub County Jail. But that wasn't the end of it. Shortly after being released, he was back at it again with more bizarre behavior. On November 15th, 2023, Chambbley officers were called to the Honda Carland dealership for what initially appeared to be a burglary. Fine, sir. How you doing? >> Doing good. He had a pipe in his hand. >> The suspect turned out to be the same man from the Lowe's incident. >> He was arrested again, hit with eight counts of criminal damage to property and first-degree burglary and booked once more into the Dickop County Jail. >> Once Steve gets here, shoot me a text or something and uh I'll have one of my CSI or one of our evidence guys come over, see if they can download the video. >> Okay?
