on April 12th 2024 Orlando police were called to a neighborhood in Orlando Florida about a group occupying a home without the owner's permission a representative from the real estate company explained that he saw the trespassers enter the property and remove the electronic lock from the door don't go away hello Hi how are you so what's going on that's our property mhm um let me show you real quick if you you go oops if you were to look on the pro Florida property appraisal this is what it will be listed as okay we own the home invitation home owns the property okay this home is supposed to be vacant the blinds are closed there is an African-American male in that house he out he opened the door he saw me and then he went ahead and got on his phone and then he closed the door behind him okay uh I don't know how many other people are in the home but we basically just need so we just need them ejected out of the home and have them trespassed arrested whatever we need to do what do do you guys want to prosecute absolutely okay um do you have a key for the residence in case it's locked uh well I do I can open uh no the lock is offline but I can drill that lock if need be but I know he's in there a safety issue so uh some concerns we may have to do is if he doesn't open the door we have to boot the door so I can't have you drill the lock just because issue all right I understand okay but I'm pretty sure that he may I mean if he doesn't open the door we can try the back door but again there was a lock box hanging on the door and he opened it up but it's we can't get that door open there's no unless he unplugged the Hub is what it is right it looks like the Hub is still online so he hasn't unplugged it yet but he did take the lock offline he may have taken it offline yeah I see go on invitationhomes.com yeah and you fill out the information and it provides you with a code that's good for an hour to go in and look at it to go in look at it and then you know blah blah blah and a thing and the code it's only like I said the code it's only valid for an hour yeah at 61 minutes the code dies so she has to go online and and and get another that's not that person doesn't exist though that that's a that's a fake that's a fake did you guys have internet in there any sort of spectrum or anything like that we do but it's this it it's not on we leave a box the box is there okay cuz there's two in there looks like so yeah so they probably got one from another home and then they went ahead and got uh the one that's in the house and then basically what happens is so let's say that you rent the home and you move in yeah so on day one you go to your CL the master closet you grab that box and then you make the appointment with Spectrum or if you're Savvy then you do it but the reason why it's not connected is because obviously you're putting your personal information on the Wi-Fi for you and your family absolutely and then everything all of our equipment the front door the thermostat and the ring doorbell goes all tied to your phone so you can see who comes in who gets out and you provide codes to your family and what happen Okay so that's we do that that is part of our deal that we have with Spectrum for our resident it's a it's an extremely low rate that you get that they can get yeah but my guess is that if they went to another one of our houses they grabb the two boxes and then were just going to go ahead and have them put in okay so we're going to obviously interview all these folks and see what their involvement is I I highly doubt obviously any of them is going to be Anna Jones but if they are then that would be really stupid but um um and we'll go from there okay so um if you would like to go in and inspect the home for any damages please do so his name was like it was some Indian name sorry with a d I don't know how to pronounce it um but he said that the house was still available and that he just needed the first month spent and then the last month spent to be able to get the house and you can go in he gave us the code and then said we were good to go okay but again I have you accessing this house four times yes or AC trying to get codes four times one at 4:00 in the morning all the way up to I think 9 in the morning yesterday so again these are not adding up if he's providing you with a code he provided me with one code and then we had to leave to go grab our stuff and then we texted him ask him for the code again and he said to go to the invitation home when did he provide you with this code uh it was is it on any message it's on my boyfriend's message it's on your boyfriend's message yes boy text now cuz we all don't have servers right now which one's your boyfriend blue shorts blue shorts am I going to find completely changing her story Leaving officers wondering just how deep the deception ran put your hands behind your back put your hands together like your brain all right turn around you the last opportunity to come come clean your boyfriend completely different not one thing that you said that you told us matches not one thing not lying to you at all he came with a completely different story on how you guys came to be in this house so and he says that you're not lying but he's not lying and obviously that doesn't work right yeah that doesn't make sense so what happed so I'm telling you it was I had contacted the Zillow people went through the houses tried to find like at least three bedrooms two bathrooms t phone I found this place cuz I saw it was only 2400 so I pressed request application through Z and then I put in the phone number 32577 that phone number and I waited for someone to contact me and when they did they asked if I wanted to see the listing and I was like yes I do and then they gave me the code and they text me saying tell me when your 5 minutes away and I'm going to give you the code so I stopped stopped at the Taco Bell because I don't have service to be able to text them since it was really close and then they gave me the code and I came over here and that's how I first saw the house I just walked around and saw it and I was like okay I like this place let's text the people back and say we want to we want to continue with this so we got back to my friend's house because she was letting me stay there um and then after that he text I texted them saying I would like to proceed with this um application and he goes okay sounds good uh you can when would you like to move in I said as soon as possible he goes okay you can move in now if you if you would like I just need the first month went and then the last month went and then the application fee I was like okay it sounds good how much is that and he said it was 2400 for one month and then 2400 for the next month and that's how we got the 28 not 28 4,800 okay that's how you do that um and then after that he said we can go ahead and move in and to get the code we would have to use Invitation Homes to get the code cuz he can't give it to us again so I was like okay sounds good I'll use it so we wait until the next morning in order to do it cuz we were all just tired at like 4:00 a.m. just wanted to go to sleep fig we would continue the next day MH so then we got up around 7:30 got over here around 8:00 checked out the place um and then made sure it was still good like all the keys were there and stuff and then we left again to get all stuff cuz we had already started packing the night beforehand just in case and then we started moving in our stuff we had to take five trips because of all of our stuff combined and the beam W is not so he's big uh so that's why we had to use the code multiple times how did you hey so he said we don't have to pay until the 16 because I don't get paid to the 16 so you haven't paid anything no not yet and he said that we didn't have to pay until the 16 okay cuz he was trying to work with me okay why did you come up with this whole other story though cuz I don't want to get in trouble but that doesn't make any sense if you weren't going didn't want to get in trouble why wouldn't you just tell me the truth why wouldn't you come up with the story like tell me what really happened lying to me is going to get you in trouble you understand that yes sir so this guy allegedly texted you a code to get in initially and then said go through the homes you did this through Zillow yes it was through Zillow he contacted me like I put the application through Zillow requested to apply I was like when would you like to apply I put in that information number and then he texted me through the phone number it's suspicious to me because that doesn't work like that you can't just put homes in Zillow and then put like fake numbers like it it gets put in by the company or the realtor so I know this because I'm also a realator you can't just do this it's impossible so so I'm having a hard time believing that you received a number from somebody from Zillow CU it would come back to the realator assigned to this house it just said I like thank you for crying about this address uh it is still available okay and I I and I saw the address I was like oh okay that's the place I I applied to so I texted him back all right can you prove any of this is there any proof that what you're telling me is true it's all on the phone that's the only thing that's they didn't do it off my phone I Vis only cuz I was trying to find what did you show us what was that that was me trying to get a hold of him because he stopped replying to my boyfriend that looks like Facebook that was through the text now that was text now mhm okay all right you're being placed under arrest okay do you understand I don't believe anything you're saying
