What are you so upset about? >> I CAN'T GO TO SCHOOL BECAUSE IT'S I can't come here because >> Is he going to jail? >> Sir, no. >> Why should I not put you in jail? >> Sir, sir, please. I want I Please, I listen. I didn't try to fight you. >> School bullies no longer just test their teachers or fellow students anymore. Some carry their defiance further, try to fight law enforcement. Once the cops step in, [music] the game changes completely and reality teaches them a lesson for the ages. They're dogs. They're all [ __ ] DOGS AT THE END OF THE DAY, [ __ ] THEY BELONG IN IT UP DOG, [ __ ] >> There are several moments when school bullies try to fight cops. Starting with this 14-year-old who was bold enough to think he could bully his own teacher. All because she had the nerve to take his phone during an examination. >> He took both cell phones, one from him and another student. Okay. And then I told them come come and get them at after seven videos. >> Like this. I went like this. >> Oh, okay. Okay. >> So he comes. >> Mhm. >> And then push me. >> Where'd he push you at? Like on your arm? >> Mr. Bro brilliant spoke to five of them. I spoke to six and we stopped cuz all the stories [music] are all matched exactly the same. >> On April the 24th, 2023, an officer at a high school got reports about a teenager who lashed out at his teacher. The incident began when the teacher confiscated his phone during an aptitude test. But instead of behaving himself and waiting till the test was over to retrieve the mobile phone, the student pushed her and by doing so set off a chain of events that quickly drew [music] police attention. >> I'm sorry. I was trying to st in front of my kids. >> That's okay. Have a seat. Have a seat. Have a seat. Have a seat. So, what's going on? What happened? He arrived late like every day. >> Who is he? >> Okay. >> They're late. Arrived late with no pass. I have asked the class to have his their cell phones away because we were testing. He arrives. I told him where to sit. He sit down. I gave him his exam [music] and And 2 minutes later, he runs on the cell phone. >> So he he comes in late. You guys, you already have a test going, I'm assuming. >> Mhm. >> You tell him where to sit. You give him >> the exam. >> Give him the exam. >> And then a minute late, he was like this. >> Okay. >> He was distracted and I told him, "What are you doing?" And then he was um on his cell phone. >> Okay. >> I have taken another cell from another student. So I grab both cell phones. And I was going to put them on my student on my desk drawer. >> You took both cell phones, one from him and another student. Okay. >> And then I told them come come and get them at after seven video. >> Okay. >> And then when I was uh bending down closing the >> closing the like this I was I was bending down closing the the drawer. He comes and then um [music] push me and then I was trying to like stop him. >> So you're bending down like this. [music] I was like this. >> Oh, okay. Okay. >> So he comes. >> Mhm. >> And then push me. >> Where'd he push you at? Like on your arm on your head? >> Yes. Yeah. It hurts. >> Okay. >> And then I was trying to stop him and then he just grab the the drawer and then uh grab the cell phone. And then he told me, "I don't play with this shit." And then he just got up, grabbed his backpack, and left. >> And that was after class started. Was there anybody else in there when he >> Everybody was there. >> Everybody was in there. Okay. >> He pushed me and he hit me in my on my how do you say his arm? >> Okay. >> Push you right there. Did you fall over? >> No, because I grabbed myself from the >> hip. push me hard. >> Okay. So, you go you go to put the the cell phones in the door, correct? Or lock the door [music] and then he that's when he comes up. >> Did he say anything at all when he before before he before he pushed you back and then he say no no and then just get out. >> That was right after you took the cell phone. So, it was almost all like immediately. Okay. >> They should Well, he should not be putting his [music] hands on you. What were you thinking when this was happening? What was going through your mind? >> I was taking it on my glass. I was so >> Or when he pushed you, what what got he got in out of guard because I didn't expect that. >> And what did you tell him after that happened? Did you see? >> Nothing. >> He just reached in the door, grabbed his phone, and walked out of class. Was he did he does Greg and him know where he's at right now or no? >> No. >> Okay. Did you tell him anything after he pushed you or was that just like he just pushed you, grabbed the phone, walks out, he doesn't say anything? You don't say nothing? >> No, he said I don't play with his >> play. Yeah, he come [music] there. I don't play with his [ __ ] >> Um, and you said every student in there saw it, right? >> Everybody saw it. Did anybody say anything? I don't >> They just stay sitting there. >> Okay. Um, [music] are there marks on your arms? >> No. Nobody hurts your arm. >> It hurts on your forearm. Do you want medical attention? >> No. No. >> Are you sure? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm going to take I'm going to take photos real quick of your arm, okay? >> Overall, and then and then a photo of your arm. Let me push you. Okay. So, just have you stand up against the wall right here. I just want to make sure I got it straight. He goes to class late. Your class already started. You're doing an exam. He doesn't have a pass, nothing. Goes in, you tell him where to sit. You give him ex his exam. >> After confirming the unbelievable [music] story, the officer took time to doublech checkck the facts. That careful move exposed what had truly [music] taken place. Do you want to pursue charges? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. And I think that's it. If you think of anything else, let me know. I'm going to get your name real quick. >> All right. Do you have any questions for me? [music] >> What is going to happen? >> So, what'll happen is I'm going to Well, if we can find him, you know what? Let me use this. I'll give you the case number. Go. There it is. I'll give you the case number. If we can find him today, I'll pull him in. Obviously, I'll interview him. I would like to talk to your assistant that was right next to you so I can kind of because everything's happening to you so you probably going to remember everything [music] but a lot of times if people are watching they remember more than the person that it happened to. I'm going to give you the case number or the report number and um cuz he's a juvenile. I'm going to ask for detention. Uh doesn't mean he'll go to jail. It [music] they it varies. It kind of an up and down thing, but JPO is the one that makes a decision. So, I'll call the juvenile probation office and if they allow if they authorize detention, then he'll go to jail today. If they don't, then I'll call his parents. I'll charge him. He's going to get charged for it, but we release them to their parents when they're juveniles if [music] they don't authorize detention. I'm here. Hey, so something happened in class today [music] in Miss Durn's class. Yeah. >> Were Were you in there? >> Uh-huh. >> What happened? Um, I just like Okay. >> The whole thing. >> Okay. So, um, they were taking a test. >> Mhm. >> Um, and the student just told me to like watch it my um and so, um, I think it's ready. We walked in late and she took away a phone in front of the class and cuz they were already like testing. She took out her phone and then Freddy walked in and then he sat down and he got his test and then he started using his phone and Mr. Sharon saw it, took it away, took his test away as well. And then um she told him that they could get it like at the end of the day period. Um, and they like kind of freaked out about it. And so, um, Freddy, he got up and then he she was going to put in her in her drawer and like lock it and like he put his hand there and like push her out of the way. >> When you say push her, what do you do? Like did you >> Oh, I like he was like blocking the [music] way. So, >> you couldn't actually see him? >> Yeah. Okay. >> Um, but like he like like we I saw he put his hand like on the [music] door before she closed it. >> Mhm. and like he like pushed something like I think he pushed her or like the door open. He got his phone and like pushed her out and then like left. >> Okay. >> All right. I'm going to let you go back to classroom cuz we're probably going to bring her down. Do you have any questions for me? >> No. >> Thank you so much. I appreciate you. So, you're not sure if she actually pushed if he pushed her, but you there was a scuffle. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. >> Yeah. >> Thank you so much. Hey, you have a good day. Okay. >> The officer had just confirmed his suspicion and from that point on it became clear what needed to be done. Coach, I do not know the whole story. [music] >> I do. >> So, >> not his story. >> How are we going to deal with this? Do I deal with it? You going to tell me? Do you want to get involved? How? >> No, I'm involved. Yeah, >> most definitely. I'm involved. >> I got to read something up first. >> Yeah, I'll let now that Robert's >> So, yo, here's what's going to happen. So, you know, right now and officer, I'm sure you'll probably go with him. >> Y'all explain I'm going to explain something real quick. I just want you to listen and that way I have to do this before we have any kind of conversation. All right. whole thing. >> Uh, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can or will be used against you in a court of law. >> I'm going to go talk to my brother. >> That's fine. >> That's fine. [music] >> That's fine. >> Yes, sir. >> So, I'll step out for now while you guys have a conversation and then uh uh let me see. And then Yeah, this right here. And then just let me know when you guys are done. >> Okay, I'll be right there. >> Sounds good. Not long after the 14-year-old's guardian arrived at the school, and that was when the entire situation got picked apart, piece by piece. >> How you doing? >> Good. And you? >> Oh, can't complain, man. >> Busy. So, >> so guys, here's what's going on from my part. So, buddy, just to catch you up real quick. >> Hey, >> this is what happened this morning. We got a report and you we're not going to be rude, but we'll interrupt each other so that brother gets the whole story. Okay. If I say something, we can make corrections. Um, we got a report from a teacher that the student pushed her and the teacher decided that she was going to go ahead and file a report. When it comes to something like that, there's nothing that we can do at the school. In other words, I can't tell a teacher, no, you can or cannot file a report. We still we still work with our discipline, but whatever Mr. Officer or Dean decides to do is totally separate from us. You know what I mean? So it's not like I'm going to change what we're doing or anything. So anyways, that was reported. So at that time they [music] told us that the student had left. So we went around and he showed up to third period, right? Second period that this >> happened first, but there was nobody. >> Yeah. So second period he was he said he came down here. I didn't see him but I believe him. [music] So then he went up. We got him right at the beginning of third period came. He told me Mr. Cio what he told me is that he walked in class. >> That was like the minute >> was late. had his headphones on, took the headphones off, puts them in his pocket, [music] has the phone, and you know how you just go like that to shut it down. Then she saw the phone, told, "Let me have your phone." Gives her the phone. She went to her desk and told him, "You can come get it after 7th." That's when he said, "No way. You ain't keeping my phone till after 7th." Went up there. She was trying to put it in the top door of her desk and lock it. She had the keys were on the lanyard. You know what that is, right? And she's like this. He wanted his phone. So he went in there, grabbed the phone and left class. Okay. [music] So I had two different story. Okay. So what we did at that time is we interviewed. Mr. Brilliant spoke to there was 24 kids in the class. Mr. Brilliant spoke to five of them. I spoke to six and we stopped because all the stories were all matched exactly the [music] same. Here's what the class tells me happened really close. They said, "You were late to class, right?" went in, sat down, sits [music] there. They were taking a test. They issued you a test, right? You still had your phone out at the [music] time. I don't know if the timing or whatever, but he still had the phone. Teacher, come and get the phone. [music] He gives the phone just like he said. She's walking up to the front of the class. Says, "You guys can come get it. 7th period. I'll lock him up." He got upset. Said, "No." On the way up there, he said, "Nah." >> Hey, I did not said that. And that's what >> I did not say that. >> Just telling you what the class said. >> I didn't talk to any >> didn't call the teacher that, >> but you had made the comment. You walk up and then when the teacher was there, [music] you didn't he didn't push her, didn't do none of that, but when they were there to get in there, they end up bumping my side. >> Yeah. So, [music] I'm telling you that I don't please know it's not Mr. Kio saying you line or the teacher. I didn't know. That's what the kids are saying. So, it's like a shoulder check. You know what I mean? No. Here's a rule at Centennial. And I told your brother this, bro. Me and you talked pretty good. Did you think so? Told him as soon as she took your phone, what should you do? >> Yeah, cuz Mr. Kio the teacher took my phone for the whole day and then I deal with you. You understand what I mean? And I'll take care of it for you. But you can't take it upon yourself to control. Even if you don't agree with a rule here, you can't just say, "Okay, I'm Freddy. I'm changing that rule. Don't work at that. I don't agree with this rule. Should I be able [music] to wear my hat? Yeah, why not? How does this hurt if I'm wearing my hat? Look, but the school says we can't. I forget when you guys walk in, I have my dang hat on. You understand what I mean? And I'm always telling kids, "Hey, pull out." There's rules we don't like speeding. I love to fly. There's a police officer. My wife has a BMW, brother. I love to go down the floor. I go to Albuquerque. I'm going 90 95. That's why I bought that car, bro. But if I get a ticket, what do I do? >> Pay for it. >> I pay for it. Not going to sit there and debate it. >> But what I'm trying to say is I'm not going to pay. I swear I didn't even touch her. Maybe. Look, maybe if I did touch it, it was probably like a little rub on my arm. But I know for a fact I didn't touch it cuz I would have felt it and I would knew and I know better to touch a teacher cuz that's a whole different that's a whole different scenario. >> The principal used a tried andrue trick, nudging him into conversation. Slowly, the boy loosened up and before long, his true colors showed plain raw and impossible [music] for anyone in that room to ignore. >> Here's what you have to understand that it's not one kid who's telling us a lot. They all have the same story. Didn't push her. Nobody said that. You went up and you know how you do like a shoulder check when you don't like someone. Not that. But you still went in and trying to get that phone, you bump her and she moves off to the side. >> Look, keep it real. Look, I was kind of on the side like when my body like cuz you know how her desk is like square or whatever. I was kind of like with half my body on this side and that side. How am I going to if she was over here with her whole body, [music] how am I even going to have my whole body and hit her? You know, >> my body was not even >> You understand what they're telling me? Cuz I had them explain it. Stand up. No, here's what they're saying. She was squatting down like this trying to lock that, right? And then when you came in, turned sideways to get the phone. >> Can't force your way. I didn't I didn't do that. That's that's that's what that felt like you went over me like like I would have felt this. I would have felt that. No, I did not do that. >> So, I have to go by what I know and that's the statements of all the students. You understand that again? Like [music] I said this morning, it wasn't that I didn't believe you or I did believe you. Same thing with a teacher. I didn't just take her word over you. [music] So, I hope at least you respect that part. We spoke w I got witnesses. We got a bunch of them and all the stories match up. You understand? I don't think it's as bad as she has made it out in my opinion to be, but when that happens, come see us. That's what we're here for. You can't take that on yourself. It just doesn't work that way. You understand that? You are being suspended for inappropriate use of language and for inappropriate physical content. You cannot do that stuff. But that carries a 3 to 5 day suspension. I cut it down to 3 days. I think I counted today as a full day. Even though you're here, you'll be back Thursday morning. Two days. We're done. Don't be doing stuff like that. Cool. >> All right. As far as I go, guys, um remember we talked about as far as were you in trouble? Were you going to be in trouble? You are going to get charged, right, with assault. I'm not going to do the the battery. It's a felony. The battery is a felony. The assault is just a misdemeanor. Um, mainly all it has to be threatening u menacing conduct that made her feel like she was in threat of a battery. Does that make sense? So, you don't even have not to put your hands on you or whatever it may be. She's claiming one thing, you're claiming another. I have certain, you know, x amount of people saying this did happen. I'm not going to hit you with a battery. I don't I just don't there's for me it's not I don't want to one ruin your life like that cuz a felony is a serious thing. Even when you're a juvenile, it doesn't matter. misdemeanor, slap on the hand, don't do it again. That makes sense. Keep our hands to ourselves. We don't yell cuss at teachers or anything because seriously, if you start going up to them and they feel like you're going to [music] hit them or something, that itself is an assault, basically is what it comes down to. So, if if somebody feels like they're in threat of a battery, like some somebody's going to hit them, that's an assault. So, that's what I'm charging you with. Okay. Um, do you have any questions for me on that part? >> No. >> So, he's going to get a juvenile class. Three. Kids don't they don't work the same as adults. Now, had it gone with battery, I would have called JPO and requested detention because we have to because it is a felony. Whether or not they would have, that's up to them. You would have gone to the DC and in 2 or 3 days, you would have gotten out. Your brother would have picked you up. Well, I'm not I don't want to do that. I don't want to do that to you, okay? You're too young. It's a misdemeanor and you should be good. Just don't freaking do it again. Don't don't threaten them. That right there in itself is an assault. >> You know, you know what I mean? So, that's why I'm saying like assault isn't easy. That's kind of a broad broad thing. I can for assault for anything. >> It's like Yeah. It's like the what? The category. >> Yeah. It It just It's It's not a battery, but it makes somebody feel like they were going to get hit. Does that make sense? >> So, that's basically what it is, as far as this one goes. All right. Uh Freddy, just right here on the black line, buddy. Uh that box. >> After all was said and done, he was charged with battery on a school personnel [music] member. Well, he got just what he deserved. His actions seemed to pale in comparison to 20-year-old Deshaawn, who thought he could bully his way out of expulsion. But instead, he got a reality check that he won't forget in a long while. >> I needed to go to school. You guys, you guys are stopping from my education. You guys are nearly stopping me from my education. >> Hey, let me tell you. >> No, sir. No more. I just got off probation. >> You're going back on again. >> On August the 10th, 2023, police were called to Florida Technical School after a student who had been told not to return [music] because he had been expelled decided to show up anyway. He came back ready for trouble [music] and demanded to continue his education. But the rules were there for a reason. And by trying to force his way back into the system, he was setting himself up for a painful lesson. Hey man, settle down. Settle down. >> When you go in there, lock the door outside. I need you to go in that building. >> I need you to come outside. >> I need you to come outside. >> Okay, let's go. You can't act like that here, man. >> What' you do your hand? It doesn't matter. >> That does. >> It doesn't matter. >> What are you so upset about? >> I CAN'T GO TO SCHOOL BECAUSE IT'S SICK. I can't come here because you [ __ ] >> You mother. >> Come on, man. Come on, man. Settle down, bro. [clears throat] Come on, man. >> Hey, let go of me. >> Settle down. >> Let go of me. >> Settle down. >> Let go of me. >> Why should I? Let go. >> Look, dude. >> Let go. >> Stop. >> Stop. >> Let go of me. >> Let go. >> Stop. Stop. >> Stop. >> Let go. >> Stop. Stop. >> Stop. [laughter] Stop. >> Stop. >> Get my radio. >> Get up for me. >> It's physical. Kevin 44X. >> Okay. >> I give up. >> I give up. >> Nope. >> We're going to stay right here. Yeah. Okay. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. Okay. All right. Okay. All right, we're going to lose number one. >> Okay, we already 521. Thought he was secure county. >> The scene looked calm again, but the Sha's real intentions had a [music] different game plan. Handcuffs alone were never going to hold him. It would take much [music] more than that to keep him under control. >> Why'd you do that, man? >> Man, >> I needed to go to school. You guys, you guys are stopping me from my education. You guys are literally stopping me from my education. >> No, bro. You stopped you from getting your education. You stopped you. Not them. It's you. >> How? >> Look at you, man. You think this is the way to conduct business on school grounds? >> Trespass again. >> Oh, you absolutely are trespassing. You're going to jail. >> Yeah. What? >> You're going to jail, bro. You don't fight the cops or something. >> Sir, no. No, please. I invite you. >> You You absolutely resist me with violence. You're going to jail, >> sir. No. >> Why should I not put you in jail, >> sir? Sir, please. I I can't. Please. I didn't resist. I didn't try to bite you. If I was trying to bite you, I fought you. I would have punched you, sir. Please. >> I realize you didn't strike me, >> but you [music] resisted me with violence. >> Sir, that wasn't arrested. Please. >> Please. I apologize. Why did you do that? >> Apparently, you weren't >> How do you know you already here? >> Apparently, you weren't supposed to come [music] back. >> I wasn't supposed to come back. >> So, how are you supposed to come back? Well, we'll talk. >> Okay. Something for your hand. >> No, I'm okay right now. Everything I got is broke now. Let me see if this works. Hang on. [music] No, that doesn't work. Thanks. Um, he did not strike me. I'm not going to charge him with battery LEO. He did not hit me, but he did resist me. So, I'm going to charge him for uh resisting. >> Bro, I'm not mad at you. This is This is what we do. Okay. >> Alls I'm asking is that you listen to me, okay? I understand you did not physically strike me. And I know you could have, but you didn't. You didn't even try. So, I'm not going to charge you with battery on law. >> Why are you doing this? You're looking at it all along, brother. >> I'm not doing anything to you. You You've created this whole thing. I know you're [music] pissed. All you had to do was leave. That's all. Nobody Nobody was forcing you to do anything other than asking you to leave. >> Sir, I want to go to jail. >> Bro, I wouldn't want to go to jail either, but I don't act that way. >> Sir, I'll walk away from jail. >> You've pushed it past that. Okay. I didn't hear you. >> I wanted to tell again. >> You have You have absolutely got anger issues that you need to deal with. >> I'm I'm not doing anything. >> You're the one that caused this, not me. >> You You understand what I'm saying? >> Just let me. >> Do you understand what I'm saying? >> You're not hearing me. You don't want to listen to anything that I'm saying. >> Okay. So, you're acknowledging me. You understand what I'm telling you? >> I'm not here to be Is that felony? >> What's that? >> Is that a felony? >> Resisting with Yeah, >> sir. >> So, sir, >> I can't get no felony charges no more. >> What is it? >> You're resisting me with violence. Now, have a seat. >> Let's put him in a car. Let's put him in a car. >> Go to jail. The problem >> just >> sir, what is the charge? Is that felony? >> It's >> What do you got back there? >> With violence? Yes, >> sir. No, please. >> It's a felony. >> No, sir. No more. I just got off probation. >> You're going back on. I guess you're the one that caused this. Okay. >> All right. Okay. Okay. No. No. Okay, let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. >> We're done. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> That's not going to happen. >> Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. >> Nonsense. >> All right. Stand up. Stand up. Stand up. Stand up. Turn around. You're not going to kick at my deputy. >> No. No. I'm not going to kick at you. We're good. We're good. We're good. >> All right. >> Can I get some water, please? >> In the end, he was charged with resisting arrest and causing a disruption at an educational facility. Agreed. Deshaawn was chaotic. He was no match for this school bully, an 18-year-old who thought he could push around his PE teacher and even add the cops to his hit list. All without facing any [music] consequences. >> He won't talk to me and he says you're a racist mother, I'll kick >> you. You call me racist. I'm the most least racist person in the school. You ask anybody around here. >> Bro, get your hands off me. >> Hold on. >> Get your hands off me. >> I said hold on. >> You got 5 seconds to get your hands. I know it sucks. If you'd have just listened, this couldn't have this wouldn't have happened. >> On September the 20th, 2022, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office got a call about a student who [music] was causing a scene within the school's premises. When the officer arrived at the school, he spoke with a teacher who stated that the 18-year-old had flat out refused to follow directions amidst other jaw-dropping revelations. >> What? What happened? >> All right, we're playing kickball game. We wouldn't play. So, as soon as the basketball's come out, he comes out here and wants to play basketball. So, I come up to him in my car. He said, "You're a sick." He said, "Don't don't preach me like that." I said, "I'm a teacher. I can approach you how I want to." I I didn't do this exactly. I just asked him a question. >> And then I I I try to go over here. He goes over here and I try to walk him outside to get him oneonone. And he's got the basketball and it comes to me and I grab the basketball and then he sort of bucked on me and comes at me into my face and he won't talk to me and he says, "You're a racist mother. I'll kick your nasty. I ain't putting that [ __ ] But I want to have a conversation in front of you with him cuz he got to know if he >> a staff member had already stepped in [music] trying to keep the students calm, but every word out of the team's mouth revealed another layer of attitude and it wasn't looking pretty. >> I just got to this class because the administrators, my counselor, whoever can't hire a teacher for my institute. My institute I've been taking all four years. Bl they can't hire another teacher keep a teacher in that class. >> Okay. >> So with that being said my my goddess will put me in here. >> Okay. >> Not knowing that I told him I wasn't feeling good. Came came to him about that that was already done. >> Done known about. Yes. Done known about. He left him alone. Okay cool. We're cool. I'm up there in the bleaches [music] sitting down. Finally, when I come down from off the bleachers, he want to come at me aggressively. What happened to you? You supposed to be in the bleachers. Like, that's not how you talk to me. You can be a good citizen, but be aware when you talking to me, it's respect. >> So, what happened after that? >> After that, it wasn't it wasn't nothing else to the study. I walked off and continued on what I was doing. I'm not f to talk to a good old citizen. You could have your little, you know, you feel me? That's not going to resolve nothing. If I'm not doing nothing, if I'm minding my own business, don't come in no type of way. Now, how you bumped up against me like that? >> You're talking bumped up against me like that. >> As a teacher, you didn't play as organized game. >> I told you I was feeling that was the end of you. I'm minding my own business. I walked out. >> Okay. My organized game. You didn't play. I asked you why you didn't play. You told me you didn't feel well. I didn't I didn't buck on your knee. I said, "Okay, that's fine." Next thing you know, the basketball's come out and now you're on the floor. So, I came up to you. I was like, "I thought you were sick when we playing kickball and now you're not sick anymore." And that's when you you went from here to like that. And you shut it down and I couldn't talk to you. And that's where we are. I asked you a question. I said, "I thought you were sick. We were playing kickball." And then you went and you changed two folds like I was coming at you. And then you said, "Don't come at me like that." I was like, "I'm asking you a question. I'm not coming at you. If I came at you, you know it, but I'm not going to do that. I'm 50 years old. I'm too old for that stuff. Okay? I've been doing I've been doing this for 26 freaking years. All right? I've got a little bit experience. So, if you think I'm coming at you, you're totally wrong. 100%. But as a teacher and as a person of of respect that I do respect these kids, you ask any kids in here and you call me racist, I'm the most least racist person in the school. You ask anybody around here, black, white, or indifferent. Kids, young kids, adults. I guarantee you I treat this man, this man, this man with the same respect they treat me. Don't call me racist. As a teacher, you're my student. I asked you a question. You could not answer it. Got really upset. That's what you question. >> That's exactly what I did. From the moment I came in this class, you asked only when I asked if you could open up the door. >> Your question was regarding to why why this, why that? And I gave you a simple question in return. But you wanted to go further with the um with the only question. The only question you still like to talk a >> I let you talk. I let you say what you had to say what you said over there. Supposedly that's not what you said. You came to me aggressively and I said I'm talking in a calm in a calm voice. >> You still had your voice raised while I'm telling you trying to explain to you why I came down from the bleachers. But you still had your voice up. See, this is why my voice going to stay this tone because I'mma show you how you doing me right there. >> Keep my tone like this. >> I asked you a question. I'm like, why are you not sitting down now with your >> It don't matter. >> So far, the teacher had given a consistent account of what had happened. The student kept trying to twist the [music] story into something that it wasn't. When the truth of his unruly behavior finally caught up with him, he decided to pull [music] a move no one expected. >> I gave you, sir. I'm sorry. And you still kept coming at me aggressive and I let it go and I walked off minding my own business as I was doing from when I walked up there on the bleaches and sat down. Reason why you asked [music] me why was I on the bleaches to begin with, right? Minding my own business once again. So why are you coming at me aggressively? >> Okay, that's our question. I'm a PE teacher. >> Why you Okay, you ask me a question, I'm going answer it. >> I'm a PE teacher. >> Our two classes are playing a kickball game against each other. Coach Merley versus Coach Mouser. I look up and you're in the bleaches. >> That don't got nothing to do with me feeling sick. >> I didn't know you were sick that time. That's why I asked you the question. I'm like, why are you in the bushes? >> How many times I got to tell you I was >> Okay. Yep. Okay. But I think the thing is is you were sick, but then when he allowed you guys to have free time and then you decided and wanted to play. >> Not that I decided, but at the time when I was feeling myself, I'm going to come down and I'm going to interray. Is that a problem? >> Yeah. But you designed a lesson. >> You designed a lesson. [music] A lesson is not to go out there and play with students just because this is a physical education class. That is a lesson. >> It is. I get that. And I came down a lesson. >> I came down from my time when I was feeling myself and I went down there. So why is that a problem? >> The problem is our our kickball game. We were playing against coach. >> That's not the point. It's not about the kickball game. It's about me not feeling myself. >> I didn't. >> How many times I got to say that? >> I didn't say a word to you about not playing. Did I say anything? I was like that's fine. You came to me after I after I came down on the bleaches. That's my whole point. You keep talking about the question. We're doing a kick. >> Keep talking about the game. That's the whole point. We had great time in basketball. That's when you did. And I asked his weapon. So why are you feeling better now when you wasn't earlier? >> It was I think that's a legitimate question. >> It doesn't matter. I was up there on the bleachers and I'm just not I'm telling you I was feeling myself. It's the reason why I came down from off the bleachers. It don't matter about no basketball. Don't matter about no no kickball. It ain't it don't got nothing to do with none of that. I said I was feeling sick. >> If I'm feeling sick, I'm going to be up there on the bleachers. >> Where did you not understanding that? >> When I'm feeling myself, I'm going TO COME DOWN. WHERE did you not understanding that? >> Lower your voice. Lower your voice. >> Oh, I'm just using myself. Anything else you want to come from? If you want if you want to talk to anybody, I I got a lawyer. Anything. But you not going to come at me no type of way and disrespect me. >> Hold on. Hold on, >> bro. Get your hands off me. >> Hold on. >> Get your hands off me. >> I said hold on. >> You got 5 seconds to get your hands. >> What the you going to do? >> You got 5 seconds. What you going to do? >> What you going to do? >> You got 5 seconds. I ain't going to do anything. You going to get your off of me and get out my presents like you got some sense. >> Be a good citizen like you is. >> How about you be a good citizen, not raise your voice >> with that badge on your hood and >> causing a big scene inside the gym? No, I ain't >> really pushing for disorderly condo. >> I ain't pushing nothing. >> You pushing some. All right. >> Like I said, >> he had already sealed his own fate, but thinking he could just walk away from the mess he [music] created only made the whole situation much worse. >> Okay. No. >> Come on, man. get you stuff. Let's go. >> I ain't going nowhere. >> Yeah, you are. >> I'm not going nowhere. >> Yes, you are. >> I said, why did you follow me? >> Because >> even Mr. Perry wants you to get you stuff because he wants you to meet him over there. So, let's go. >> I don't care about what Mr. Perry said. I'm in this class. I just got in this class you say to me, dog. >> Let's go get my face. >> Come on, man. You f to take a ride to jail, dude. I ain't You >> Who the [ __ ] talking about ride to jail? I ain't do begin with. >> It's called disorderly conduct. >> Early conduct. You ain't >> Let's go. >> Get up off the bleacher. That's fine. You can record all you want. I've been recording the whole time. >> That's cool. >> Get up off the bleacher. >> Keep recording. I hope you got everything I said in there, too. >> So, let's go. Come with me. >> Stand up and come with me. Stand up and come with me. I'm telling you to stand up and come with me for causing a disorder inside the gym in front of everybody else. >> Don't need to be in here. >> You don't need to be in here. Mr. Perry's telling you to come out. I'm telling you to come on. So, you need to get up and come on. I'm giving you a lawful order to get up and come on now. All right, man. Take the backpack off. We f to go to jail. Don't resist me, dude. >> Resistance. [clears throat] That's what we doing. I'm not resisting. I got right. Give me a second. Still holding me. >> Take the bag off. Take the bag off. >> Are you going to put the bag back on like the camera? You should have been >> Take the bag. Why you still holding me, man? >> Because you're not listening to a lawful order that I'm giving you. Take the bag off. >> You still holding me, >> man. >> Why is y'all still on me? This is why my parents ain't been caught. >> Put my dad on my phone. Take the bag off. >> Take the bag off. >> Why are you trying to get me to retain my stuff off of me? This is my This is my property. This is me. >> I'm not trying to steal it. I'm trying to >> I don't care. You just >> detain you and hang out. just threw me around >> because you didn't listen. I told you to get up. >> I didn't have the right >> to be treated the way you treated me. Why is you still holding me? I've been told you to give me a second. >> You keep back. >> Do you not Do you not understand that? When I say give me a second, that means move. Remove yourself away. >> Time. >> Remove yourself away from me. >> Every time I give you a second, you don't move yourself away from me. >> I will let you go if you will take your bag off. Remove yourself away from me. >> I'm going to let you go if you take this bag off. >> Will you remove yourself away from me? >> I just told you what I would do. Take the bag off. [music] Take it off. >> Bag off. Take the bag off. >> Take the bag off. Take the bag off. Bag off. Take the bag off, dude. Take it off. You're going to jail for disorderly conduct resisting at this point. Take the bag off. >> What's up? You good? >> No, I'm not good. I literally just got thrown around by the police. Like, I haven't done nothing. They simply call [music] called the administrators down here, which is the teacher that I name for physical education. Like, he called the administrators down knowing I didn't have no wrong. I was getting no wrong. I simply came to him and when he asked me a question which why am I having pieces and I told him I wasn't feeling good. >> So far he had pushed back against every type of authority that had tried to set him straight revealing a classic pattern of bully behavior. But what he didn't realize was that all the lies and attitude were only exposing him for what he really and truly was. >> I exit the bleachers when I start feeling myself and he want to come in here aggressive. So he got a a police officer down here pulling on my lot, slamming into the um bleachers like I'm like I had no >> I'm at the school and they still they still would they would not let me go. Right now when I get up there >> all right take the bag off. >> I'm not doing nothing. >> Take the bag off. >> Nothing is going to happen before you get up here. You are fixed to get put in handcuffs one way or another. >> Take the bag off. >> Take it off. >> Take the bag off. >> No right to be slown. >> Take the bag off. >> Take the bag off. You refusing a lawful order for me to be able to put you in handcuffs. Take the bag off. Take the bag off. Take it off. Take the bag off. Take it off. Take the bag off. Take the bag off. I'm going to take the bag off. We can get you decontaminated once the backpack is off. Take the bag off. Take it off. I know it [music] sucks. If you would have just listened, this couldn't have this wouldn't have happened. That's all. That's all you had to do is listen. You still going to resist. You want it some more, dude? Cuz I That's fine. I got a whole pan. Take the bag off, man. That's all you have to do is take the [music] bag off. Take the bag off. I told you to take the bag off. >> I got you on camera. >> That's fine, dude. >> Take the bag off. >> Take it off. >> I can't breathe. >> If you take the bag off, we'll get you decontaminated. That's all it is. >> I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. >> Give me your hand, man. Breathe. Give me a nurse up here. >> He's closing my whip. >> Give me a nurse up here. >> Roll over, man. Roll over. Roll over. Roll over. Roll over and sit up. Roll over and sit up. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. Roll over and sit up, dude. >> Dad, these are freaky. >> Roll over. Roll over and sit up, dude. >> I can't breathe. >> Thank God in my B. I just can't breathe. I need >> Roll over and sit up. Roll over and sit up. Roll over and sit up. Dude, I'm trying to help you. Get out. >> Roll over and sit up. >> Roll over and sit up. >> Roll. >> Let me sit up. >> That's what I'm trying to get you to do. >> Let go of the bag, dude. [clears throat] here to help you with >> Got a nurse here to help you. >> He had brought this upon himself, but he wasn't finished yet, even [music] if it meant paying a price way higher than he needed to. >> Yes, >> he is sitting up. >> I'm trying to catch up on my >> Come on, man. Good. I'm just trying to >> give me your hand trying to >> let go of the backpack. [singing] >> Let go of the backpack. >> So he can help you. >> Trying to catch my bro. >> I got you. >> The more you're struggling against him, the harder it is for you to take. >> Just let go of the bag. A lot quicker. That's what we all want. >> I can't breathe. >> Just let go of the bag. So we we're not taking your stuff. >> It ain't about my stuff. It's not about you taking it. That's not the point. You keep wrestling me >> because you're not listening. You're resisting me. So give me the stuff. Give me your >> listen if I'm minding my own business and I kept telling you to let go of me. Stop fighting [music] me. You >> dude, chill out and just give me your hand. I'm not doing nothing. I literally not even defending myself. I didn't put my hands on you. I'm not doing anything. I literally stayed content. I stayed calm. I kept my mouth closed at some point. It is not no right. Please slam me against the bleaches of pulling my locks. I absolutely didn't do anything. >> All right. >> And you sprayed me with mace in the middle of me talking. No, I kept telling you to do >> on the phone. On top of that, I didn't I wasn't even acknowledging you at that point. You sprayed me in the face. >> Well, I kept telling you to give me your hands, give me the bag, and everything else you >> I had a right to call my peoples because I feel threatened. >> Come on, let's stand up and let's go. >> You were making me feel safe. >> Let's stand up and go to the bathroom so we can flush your eyes. Come on, I'll help you up. >> Can you let go of me? I can get myself up. No, you've been sprayed. Give me the opportunity to follow your >> 1 2 3 stand up. >> You do not make me feel safe. I say >> 1 2 3 stand up. >> How many times could you please let go of me? Remove yourself from me so I can get myself together. >> That's not how this works, man. Come on. Stand up. >> Come on. Stand up. One, two, three. Let's go. Come on, man. Do you want to get your eyes flushed out? >> Let's go. >> I don't feel safe. >> Come on, man. I said I don't feel safe. >> Okay. Do you want the nurse to help you up? Cuz she's standing right here. Would you like her to help you up? >> I don't feel safe. >> Do you want the nurse to help you? >> I can barely Can me and Mr. Perry help you? >> I can't even feel my throat. If Officer McRay steps away, can I help you? >> I can't either. >> Dude, chill with the bag, man. >> Okay. >> I'm not trying to take your stuff and steal it. >> I know you're not trying to take my stuff and steal it. You not make me feel safe. And I told you I'm trying to help you stand up so we can go to the bathroom. >> I never bought you. >> I never resisted. Please w yourself away from me. >> Okay. He's let go of you. Can we help you stand up and get you to the restroom to flush [music] your eyes out? Okay. The reason it's hard to breathe is because you've inhaled some of that pepper spray. Okay. That's going to ease up eventually, but we need to flush your eyes out. That's the only way it's going to get out of your eyes. Your [music] eyes are going to continue to burn. Okay. So, can we calmly get you into a restroom to flush your eyes out? Can you do that for me? Okay. Officer McGra has let go of you and he has stepped away, but he is still here. our situation. Okay. >> Situation, not so. >> Okay. I just want to make sure you're okay. So, in order to get your eyes flush, we need to get you into a restroom and start splashing cool water on your eyes to flush all that irritant out. >> I'm sure that you will. Can we do that or not getting the entirety of the story? Yeah. >> The bag raised questions. Is he hiding something or just being difficult? Either way, his bully mindset had him thinking that he still ran the show. Before long, more officers showed up and then his father walked in, thereby steering the situation down a totally different path. >> Have a seat, man. Have a seat, bud. Just have a seat. >> Just sit down, dude. Just sit down. You have You haven't been properly decontaminated yet, which is what we need to do. >> Okay. >> Is this your dad? I guess >> he is. >> You okay? >> For now. >> Are you his dad, sir? >> I'm sorry. Can I speak to you out here, please? >> All right. Deputy McCary, I'm going to start over here at the high school. So, the situation is your son and a coach are mad at each other for whatever reason. I'm just there to be seen and try [music] to keep the peace for whatever reason. Well, your son starts getting more agitated and more agitated, raising his voice, disrupting the entire gym. At this point, that's disorderly conduct, but I'm I'm not really want to do anything with at this point. But he goes to walk away. And one of my things that I try to do here with all the kids is try to pull them to the side after they've had a confrontation with a teacher and go, "Let me holler at you real quick. Let me talk to you. Try to squash whatever this is that you got going on." So as he walks away, I put my hand on the shoulder said, "Hey man, come here. Let me talk to you for a second." He squares off with me and says, "You got 5 seconds to get your hands off me." I was like, "Really?" Like at that point now I'm feeling threatening cuz you're squaring up on me. Why are you doing this? As he's walking away, I was like, "Look, dude. [music] Come here. I need to talk to you. You're causing a huge scene. You're yelling. you're causing disrupts the entire gym and go sit down with the bleachers. I said, "Look, even Mr. Perry wants you to get your stuff. You at least got to go to in school suspension or whatever he wants to do with you [music] for now." I said, "But get your stuff. Come on, get up. Go, but it keeps no yelling causing disruptions." Like, "All right, man." [music] They said, "Well, you got to take a ride with us." At this point, you caused this big scene. >> I'm okay. You've been over there. Um, at this point, you got to ride with me. You caused this big freaking scene. Everything else. So, I grabbed buns on him to go to stand him up [music] and he starts fighting me. So, I'm using everything I can to not tumble down the bleachers with him. Do I grab his hair? Yeah, I do. Because I'm I'm just I'm grabbing for whatever I can to try to get a hold of him to try and detain him and get him in handcuffs as peacefully as I can. But he's not wanting me to do that. And then I'm trying to take the backpack off of him. I tell him, "Hey, man, take the back. I'm not trying to steal your stuff. It's going to go with you. But I to in order for me to detain you without any further incidents, I need you to take the backpack off." And I let him go. I let him try to do it himself. He doesn't want to. So grab it again. Try to help him get it off. And it's [music] back and forth, back and forth. I keep giving him verbal commands. I'm giving you a lawful order. Take the backpack off. I got to detain you. So on and so forth. Joe doesn't listen. So for my policy, people are still not listening. Even after I've already tried soft [music] and hard hand control, I my next step is to go do some form of, you know, baton, taser, pepper spray. I don't want to tase [music] a kid. I want I'm not trying to hit him all the time. So, I use the most compliant force I can, which is the pepper spray, which usually helps kind of lighten that mood and them go, "Oh, that hurts. All right, done." So, I didn't want to put electricity through the kid's body. He's just a kid. I didn't want to have to use this damn thing. So, I that's why I use a pepper spray. And he's still I'm like trying to get him to take his backpack off so I can get him cuffed up and we can take him and go get him decontaminated. And he's still not listening to me. Still resisting. Still trying to keep the backpack on. Still don't want to stand up. I'm like, "Dude, like what at at what point are you going to listen to me so we can get this over with, you know, and I understand he's calling you. I understand you're pissed because you're hearing everything from his side. And this is recorded before I even started talking to him. So, if you do want to capture the or get a hold of the body cam, you're more than welcome to. I'm sure the sheriff's office will be able to supply you with that or your lawyer, whoever." Um, [music] and then go from there. Um, but and I was trying to be as nice as I could be from the get-go with him, but he just he wouldn't let me. He just he just wouldn't let me. >> Anybody witnesses? >> Yeah. So, the coaches witnessed it. The teachers here, not this tall black gentleman, but the Mr. Perry, Mr. Grim, the [music] coaches, and of course, a bunch of kids during the middle of the altercation started pulling their phones and stuff out. But, I mean, they're going to catch whatever they can on their phone. All the good stuff. But all the teachers and the Mr. Graham and Mr. Perry caught from beginning to end. >> You want to have one of them step out? Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> So far, unlike his son, the father handled everything calmly. [music] After hearing consistent accounts from several witnesses, the officers allowed him to meet with his son. >> Can I talk to him? >> Absolutely. If if you think it was sitting right here. Dad, do you want to talk to him first and see what you can do? If you don't mind, can I just have dad talk to him first real quick? Thank you. >> Get his eyes wiped off with the paper. >> He still refuses to stand up. [music] Where is he? You going to wash his ass? >> Yeah. Is there a bathroom that we can use? >> Okay. You want your dad to help you walk, man? That way you can not fall down the stairs. >> Yeah, it should be a sink. I've never been in here, so I'm not sure exactly where the sink is in here. All right. Now, listen. >> Listen. There's very particular way we need to go about doing this. So, we don't do any harm to your eyes. Okay? >> I told you up there. I'm here to help you out, brother, but you got to let me help you out. Okay? You >> let me help you out. All right, bend over. Back up. Bend over. Here's the sink right here. Let your hands out and get a whole lot of water. Do not rub your eyes. You hear me? Don't rub your eyes. When I tell you open your eyes, open your eyes. No, it's fine. It's fine. I appreciate this. I didn't have to get like this. Got it. I'm worried that I don't know what to do. calm and returned. There was just [music] too much to what he had done to be ignored. And then came the dreaded moment, one no parent [music] ever wants to face with their child. He is still he is with his other class right now. So he will make sure >> um at this point with everything happening like I told you he's got to take a ride and let me just take a little bit. >> So at this point man I need >> you want me to take with you? I mean take with me. >> You want to give me your phone or anything? >> Go ahead and give me >> your chain. Yeah, for sure. because I don't want them to lose that down there. >> You chain your bracelet. >> All right. At this point, I need you put your hands behind your back, man. >> 111. He he he should he he should be able to call you from down there as well and let you know whenever they're ready for them to to leave. Like I said, I'm more familiar with, you know, taking a adults to jail and them getting a bond and all that stuff. As far as >> juvenile, >> once he gets once he gets paperwork done, they're going to take them in there. They're going to process them probably within couple two or three hours. They'll call you up, have you come pick them up. >> Okay. And get to the car >> after my car. You do that? >> Yeah. As long as it'll help keep you calm. Yeah. I'm good with that. >> I've been calm from your trunk. >> All right, man. >> Putting your hands on you don't make you feel safer than what I what I felt. >> I get it. So, turn around. I got to put you hands behind your back and couch you up. Okay. >> Put your hands together like you're praying, man. >> Like like that right there. Okay. It's going to be a little bit more comfortable. I had my mouth closed. I told them what they had. I spoke when I needed to spoke. I stay minding my business like I was smoking people here. >> I didn't know I was coming in this mom or >> your sister in this gym. where they done all that stuff for a reason. Situation had everybody else move out the gym for a reason so they don't see what's going on. >> I'm only holding on to you that way you don't fall cuz you can't catch yourself with your hands behind your back. cut through the old gym and go down the steps and go to the right. >> Okay. Looks like someone better >> this way. Okay. >> Go to the left when we get out here. Let's be careful going down the steps. Cut this way. I got to start my car. There's not air that usually goes back there, but I'll roll the window down. We're going to get on the passenger side right here. Go >> ahead and have a seat. Okay. >> Street. >> Yeah. Going down off >> Holly Street. >> Holly Street. >> Holly. >> Yeah. Right off East Third Street. >> Third Street. >> Lean back just a little bit for me, okay? To best you can. I got to bump you up so we stay safe. We get this car on and get the window down. At the time that this video was made, updates on his case and charges were still unknown. Next, we head to a high school in Las Vegas where a bully turned to lunchtime in the cafeteria to his own boxing ring. >> Hey, look, look, look, look. You don't settle down. You don't settle down, you're going to be >> You better chill. You better chill the You understand me? >> All right. You cooled down now. [music] So if I take those cuffs off of you, you're chill. >> On September the 22nd, 2021, a police officer rushed to a heated lunchtime fight at Palo Verde High School. The moment he arrived, there was no time to overthink things. He had [music] to step in fast to calm the growing chaos. Hey, look. Look, look, look. You don't settle down. You don't settle down, you're going to be >> You better chill. You better chill the You understand me? >> You ready to chill? You're going to calm down. >> Stop it. Stop moving. [cheering] >> You ready? >> Yep. Get off me. >> And when I get off you, you're going to roll over on your stomach. You understand me? >> Yep. >> By the way, turn away from me. >> Thank you. Stay calm. Thank you. Thank you. >> Let your hat Let's go. Control Adam 590 416 Palo Verde lunchroom code four. >> Okay. Roll towards me and sit on your butt. Okay. Sit up on your butt. >> All right. Stand up. >> We're going straight to the police office. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Come on in. We're going right over here. Okay, sit right here for me. Just relax. What was you guys fighting about? Don't want to talk yet? Hey, look. While we're in here, no phones. Okay. No phones with me. Why you taking my phone? 16. Can I get an administrator in the police office, please? >> I'm headed there. All right. You cooled out now. So if I take those cuffs [music] off of you, you're chill. Okay. Stand up for me and face that wall. What's your name? You calm down. Please sit back down in that chair. >> The officer worked to keep her calm and under control while waiting for another unit to arrive and figure out how things had [music] gotten this far. >> Like I said, if they're standing up, make him go outside. >> Jack, I'm sorry. I couldn't hear what you said. >> Can you see how I got a scratch on my face? >> Go ahead and touch where you think it might be. >> It hurt everywhere. Like >> your whole face. So, it was just verbal. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, is your face hurting from me jumping on you? >> I think so. >> Okay. >> It's okay. It's fine. >> The situation was still unclear, but the officer and the interviewer leaned in harder, determined to sort it out without leaving a single stone unturned. >> Okay. So, then you guys come closer and start words or >> we weren't even close like this. How do we use it? Right there. Just like that. was harder than this. We wasn't even that close. You just started You guys just started getting into this debate. >> I did. I just said this to him on Monday. On Monday, I did pull him to the side and I said to him, "Okay, we squashed it." >> But then we >> [music] >> The interviewer had gathered enough facts to piece together what happened before the outburst. From there, he moved forward and tackled the situation the best way he could. So obviously before Monday >> he was calling your names and Monday kind >> anybody else on that Monday noises so they can >> all thanks so people just >> so like it's like I'll pull them aside We went and walked off the side. >> Oh, okay. Unfortunately, but at least we didn't have a fight. But here's here's what I want you to do in the future. If one of us or a police officer, hey, we're trying to help. Okay. Do you need to use this computer for anything? >> No, I don't think so. I'm going to wait here. I'm going to radio that. He is the other one involved. >> Did you hear me out here? >> No. >> Is that your backpack? >> The other one is the other one involved. is not upstairs, but your two witnesses are. >> Yeah, that's going to take a minute. >> The officers managed to bring the chaos under control, but any further updates on the students were still unknown at the time that this video was being compiled. Although you've got a lot of school bullies getting humbled, none compared to how Josanna got humbled after she forced her way into another school's hall of residents to stir up trouble over unrequitted love. I hate you Cameron so much. >> I said let's go. >> Why the you? >> On April the 10th, 2024, police officers rushed to Biscane Hall, a residence building at Florida GF Coast University in Fort Myers. Reports said a female who seems like a student was throwing tantrums and disturbing [music] the peace within the hall of residence. She refused to be controlled. And when officers arrived, the noise only got louder. >> Down the hallway to the left on the left side. >> 19 years of age. She called the front desk that she was a resident. She is now banging on a door. >> She's going. >> Where you going? >> No, I'm I'm just the DA. She had come earlier while I was at the front desk and she said that her and her boyfriend went through a breakup. She's the non-resident. Your receipt? >> Yeah, I'm a DA. I work at the front desk. Okay. But yeah. >> Hi. Can you tell me what's going on? >> This it up all the way. [gasps] >> NO, THAT IS NOT WHAT WE'RE DOING. >> STAND UP. LET'S GO. Stand up now. >> Get your stuff. These cops are >> relax. >> THESE COPS ARE the After removing Joanna [music] from the hostel, officers finally had time to gather details about how things had spiraled to that point. But in truth, they weren't prepared for the discoveries that they were going to make. >> Um, the on call right now, >> right? >> Um, I just got the call and I came right over. So, I asked my staff to call you guys. >> I'm assuming you guys don't have any information. >> I have her name. >> Okay. I mean, I just need to UI in her name so I can >> student from what I understand. >> Oh, okay. >> I'm gonna have them confirm it. >> Okay. That's when she started banging on the doors. >> Do we know what door she was? >> 145. I think student is Cameron. >> Um, what's her name? My first name is Jazanna. Do you guys need anything from me? >> I'm going to need statements from students. >> Okay. >> Trespass for this. >> I don't know. I'm going to call Terry >> cuz that's I mean it would be up to them. I'd be like >> I mean I don't want her back in my building if she's going to be a safety hazard to our residents. It' be up to Natalie record. >> I don't know. That's why I want to call Terry and see. >> Yeah. It's so early resisting without >> cuz she wasn't fighting you but she also wasn't >> No, I mean she was >> it's all I don't know. Was she like resisting? Yeah, she did resist. >> All right, I'll get this thing. >> Of course, I'll help you. >> Yeah, I don't have enough pens for everybody. >> We have pens. >> All right. Is it all three of you going to write a statement? >> All three of them. >> I'll come over here so everybody can see. Write a statement. If you need more right back here and then when you're done, don't sign anything. Just wait for me. Okay. >> Okay. Do you want it from when she started when she first came in? >> Want the whole story from the beginning to what she said, how she acted. >> All right. >> Was she disruptive? You guys got hand sanitizer? >> Wait, it's right right here. >> Oh, sweet. >> Whatever you guys do, just let me know so I can let our >> She's under arrest. >> Okay. >> She's going to go to jail. >> Okay. >> I would imagine she should be trespassed, but that's just me. Especially she doesn't go to school here. She doesn't live here and she's making a a fuss like she was yelling and screaming profanities. I'll verify with uh officer Hoffman, but pretty sure probably disorderly and resisting without violence. >> She is not a student. >> So I've already called the lieutenant. >> He's going to call me back at minimal if they want trespass. You be able to sign that or do you need to call Natalie? >> I need to call Natalie. >> Okay. >> Disorderly and resisting without. >> You tas it, right? >> That's what I asked. No, I didn't taste it. >> Oh, I thought you did. >> I I almost pulled out, but I did not. But >> that's what I would charge her with a trespasser. >> I'm assuming you guys don't need a statement or anything from me or anything. >> No, you weren't here until >> until you guys had her halfway down the hallway. >> All right, let me check on him and hopefully Terry calls back soon. >> After speaking with her lieutenant, the female officer settled on a plan for Joanna. But during that time, Joanna was quietly building up her strength for what she had in store. >> We're going to head down now. Um, if you can >> you want these? And he said, "I don't need those right now. That way we can get all of them together." >> What charge? >> Obstructing and trespassing. >> Are we going to behave in here or are we going to start acting up again? >> What do you mean? >> We're the Lee County Jail. So, are we going to behave or we going to start acting up again? >> So, is this We're going to start acting up. >> Are they still doing the nurse checks? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Thank you. We're going to come sit back over here. You can sit sideways. Watch your head. You can stay sitting. You can't get out right now. You got to sit. >> Oh, [ __ ] y'all. Bro, >> what are y'all talking about? >> Are we going to start acting up again? >> No. >> I don't want to stand here and wait either, but we have to wait for a nurse to come out. >> I'm going to shut the door. Go ahead and put your feet back in. Put your feet in the car now. Oh, come on. Don't start acting up. Um, just come out and take her. So, she has it started as a screaming match. She calmed down on the way here and then since waiting, she's been a little uncooperative. >> How's she right now? >> She just seems annoyed right now. >> How y'all doing? >> Go ahead. You can get her out. Good. How are you? Good, man. What's up, bro? >> How you doing? Come on. Let's go. Let's go. Back to [music] him, bro. >> Keep your head up. [ __ ] that. [screaming] [screaming] [ __ ] you. YOU [screaming] [ __ ] YOU. [ __ ] you. [ __ ] you. [ __ ] you. [ __ ] you. You [ __ ] you. I tried to go home. >> Eventually, she was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and resisting without violence. Next up are these two sisters who ganged up to [music] bully their classmates. But what followed was a rude awakening neither of them had bargained for. >> Well, when you stomping on somebody and you kicking someone's head, what do you think is going to happen? You want to fix what you telling us? Cuz there's video. Doesn't look good when there's a girl on the ground, she's beating the snot out of her, and then you start kicking. >> On May the 8th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a local high school in response to a fight on a school bus. According to eyewitnesses, Lenise, a sassy troublemaker, was in a sour mood and refused to let anyone sit beside her. [music] This angered many of her classmates and quickly escalated into a full-blown feud between Lenise and another student. Without warning, the girl attacked her fellow student and was swiftly joined by her older sister, Latrice, who aided the assault. Upon arrival, officers stopped the fight and brought the older sister in for questioning. During the interrogation, Latrice revealed some shocking info about the situation and [music] made officers realize that they were dealing with a very crazy bully who somehow believed that she was untouchable. >> All right, have a seat. >> My turn red. And I know yall don't care, but if I stop like if my you see you see how red my arm is standing. He tried to loosen it up. >> You see that? >> But this metal thing is tagging on my leg. Well, he just loosened this for me. >> All right. So, which one's making it? >> This is the one that's still tight. >> I can put my whole hand in there. >> Yeah, but ow, that hurts. It's still tight. You see my arm is turning already. Yeah. >> Then stop moving around. >> Stop moving around. >> But I can't look at it. It's sinking in my skin. >> Well, stop moving around. Cuz you're moving around. All right. This is going to be quick. Okay. Quick and painless. So, what happened on the I already I know what happened. >> So, why you asking me? >> I want to know your side. >> Um, I just I was just up front about to watch a movie on my phone like I usually do. I usually stare at the window a little bit and then I get on my phone, watch a movie, but then my sister started arguing with some Well, my sister kept saying that she wanted to play with her and it's kind of got annoying to me too. So, I was just like, "Bro, I thought she gonna say this." And then to me, I was like, "Oh my god, how am I supposed to do this?" So, then I looked back there and she was starting to say it louder. And then the girl saw her was like, "Oh my god, that's so aggravating." She was like, "Are you?" She was like, "Are you good? You want to keep saying that? Are you good?" And my sister, I already know she's going to get upset about it, bro. They both started fighting. I didn't actually fight, but I was in my head. I had it in my head. They were going to fight. And then I looked behind me. They were fighting. And then I got up and then I farted to help my sister. Yeah, I did. But why does it matter what you're writing when you got involved? >> How did you want to help your sister? >> Um, I don't know how to explain it. Like my intentions were not to get into the fight, but then at the same time I was just like >> I don't know. It was kind of hot, you know. I don't even know what to do. Honestly, my real intentions was not to fight, but then it happened. Yeah. I was to get up and stop them, but then I don't know what happened. I just stood up and then I kind of like went the opposite. >> Like it wasn't just cuz I It wasn't because I don't I don't know how to explain it. It wasn't to like hurt anybody in the way. It was just because I was trying to >> Well, when you stomping on somebody and you kicking someone's head, what do you think is going to happen? >> I was trying to stop her from holding on to my sister. She was just holding on to her and just I don't know. Honestly, I can't remember what exactly happened because I wasn't really like there all day at the moment, but I can't remember like 100%. Like I don't even know who hit first. I can't really remember. Well, I don't think I've seen that part, but like um yeah, I'm going to admit I did hit her. >> Oh, I know. I know you hit her. >> I know that. But I mean, honestly, I don't know why I kicked it. I don't really know why, but it probably >> multiple times, not just once. >> Well, like >> Yeah, >> I don't know. But yeah, I don't remember kicking her multiple times, either. >> I probably I just probably don't remember it, but I kicked her, but I don't think I could have done it. During the questioning, [music] Latrice tried to downplay her involvement in the fight. However, officers had seen a video recording and could tell she [music] was every bit as involved as her sister. Rather than take accountability, the bully kept evading blame, an action she'd soon come to regret. >> You want to fix your statement? >> I didn't write a statement. >> You want to fix what you telling us? Cuz there's video. >> I know there's video, but I'm trying to tell you when they started fighting, I'm trying to stop it, but at the same time, that's my sister. So, I got to help. I'm not going to let my sister get I'm not going to let them >> Your sister was not getting whooped. >> Well, I'm not going to let them I'm not going to let my sister fight back. >> So, I'm just saying >> it doesn't look good when there's a girl on the ground. She's beating the snot out of her and then [music] you start kicking. >> That's what you do. That is what you do on on top of everything on a bus, on a vehicle, on the road surrounded by cars. We went through this last year already. >> You acting like I started the fight. >> You had no business. >> You jumped in my sister. You too. You know what? You coming at me like what about coming at us? >> She's got quences but consequences. But I'm just telling you the severity of you. We go by the code of conduct. Okay. We've got to talk to administration. [music] Go ahead and write your statement. But typically when someone jumps in on a fight, I don't care if it's their brother, sister, whatever. You're jumping in and that's expulsion. That's a That's typically an expulsion request >> on your senior year. >> Yeah. Y'all be acting like she's so different. Okay. Just >> she wouldn't But you coming at y'all coming at us because you feel some type of way. Okay. It doesn't matter. >> No, I'm not I don't feel some type of way. I'm explaining to you your consequences for you. you. No, >> because I saw how what happened on the bus. I'm disappointed. >> You know, >> that is another person. >> If it was just your sister >> Yes. [music] >> and that girl fighting, I would be like, you know what? All right. But the fact that you got into that fight, >> your sister was not getting whooped. Your sister your sister. But there was No, you said you said I got in it. I got in it to separate my sister. You did absolutely zero separating. >> I was trying to separate. >> You made No, no, no, no, no. You made zero attempt. You went over and pushed her again when she >> had my hair in my hand. >> You made zero. >> She was holding on to my hair and then I I grabbed her hand and pushed her away from me. Yes, I did. Well, I know I did. >> Go ahead and write. >> You're 18. Y'all 18 already? >> Yay. Okay, great. >> After talking to the sisters, the police and school authorities summoned the girl's mother and hosted a meeting to discuss the situation. there officers briefly summarized the ordeal and provided more context than what actually happened before the fight. >> So basically the girls got into um fault another young lady uh l >> that's a small one. >> Yes. My niece went on the bus person upset about something nobody knows and um next thing you know she's fighting a girl and then Latrice joins in fighting the young lady. So they're both receiving consequences from the school and also from the SRO. So um do you have any questions for me? So, Latrice, >> so let me tell you what happened cuz I I can give you more. >> All right. I know she said it's Lamese, but on all of our paperwork, it's Lenise. So, Lenise >> was upset. She was in a bad mood telling people, "Don't sit next to me. Get the f away from me. Don't effing sit here." Some girl took offense to that and just said, "Hey, like, calm down. Like, you don't have to be rude." So, he told her, "Shut the f up." The girl's like, "Dude, just chill." Lenise gets up and gets in the girl's face. The girl stands up. Lame just starts wailing on her. Latrice at the front of the bus, comes to the back and just starts wailing on the girl, too. And they start both going at it with this girl. The girl is on the ground. Lenise is on top of her just going in. And Latrice is at the girl's head going in, [music] starts kicking her and everything. Latrice. Latrice can't fight. Latrice is the boy. Just this. So, I'm trying to figure out what was this cuz when I dropped her off, she wasn't in a bad mood. So, I don't know what could have been what could have happened. >> Some boy said his mom said she is something. And after that, she just >> The girl's mom was in utter disbelief. However, her skepticism wasn't going to last for much longer. It was finally time to whip out the video recording, and the ensuing footage showed the incident was even more sinister than she had imagined. That's one fight I'm not. >> What are you doing? >> Get the off of here. Get the OFF OF ME. >> GET THE OFF of me. >> Some boys tries to step in to separate them. They still are going in at it. So all that had caused the bus to have to pull over and everything. So the girls are going to be placed under arrest. They're going to be charged with battery and disruption of a school function. Okay. They're going to be taken to Marian County Jail and booked and processed. They will have a bond. Um, the bond will be either a,000 or 1,500. I have to be I have to review it. You can't take the video. >> No, I'm not going to take the video. I was reading what Latrice said that didn't match what she said that. >> So, Latrice was telling me while they're walk while I'm walking into the school, she's like, "I didn't do nothing. I didn't do nothing. I was I didn't do nothing." And then I see the video. >> She said she tried to separate the fight. That's what she told me. And the girl held her hair and she held the girl's hand and say, "Let me go." That's what she told me, too. >> So, this is not the same person. She told me somebody, a boy and a girl that ride a school bus, the boy pushed her. This was last week. A boy pushed her and the guys who, you know, ride a bus with her was like, "Hey, don't don't just don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it." So, she said she let it go. I don't know if this is the same sister. Do she have a brother? Cuz if that's not the same person, I don't know. Lame was good this morning. So, I don't know what could have escalated. She got to the bus stop. A little boy told her something his mom said about her. I can't. It's in my notes in my >> So that's the little boy that they pushed her last week. >> No, no. It seems like [music] someone she friends with. Like he would say, "My mom said you're very like rowdy." Like some something like that and she took offense to it and after that she got in Lenise said she got in her Oh god. Latrice said she got in her mood afterwards. Regardless of what was said to Lenise, it didn't justify putting her hands on another student, especially one who wasn't responsible for her bad [music] mood to begin with. Eventually, both girls were going to get their much needed karma. [music] But for now, the officer just had one last thing to clarify with their mom. >> I don't know. I I'm just looking at a video, so I don't basically know what escalated before cuz the video just starts where they [music] just started fighting. So, like I told him, I say, "Only way you you defend yourself if somebody putting their hands on you." Latrice text me and told me that the only reason why she got involved when she really wasn't involved is because the girl had Lise on the floor punching her in her face, but I see the opposite. I'm not here to take up for them. Like this, like I tell them, this is your last year. What? You shouldn't be. I don't care if somebody talked about my mama. I'm getting up out of here like this. >> Ladies, I've been talking to Lennies for the past two weeks. I got her on her alpha schedule. I've been telling her to take the test cuz she needs to pass the test and graduate and she needs to fix some classes to graduate. And ever since I got here last year, November, she didn't talk to me at all. She felt like I don't need to be in her business. I said, I'm not in your business. I'm just trying to tell you, you got to get your classes together. You can't just be walking around when you could be using this time to fix your classes. >> I keep this. I'm so tired of this. I am really tired of this. For me feel like somebody can't say get and she just want to grow up like she's like that at home is like she just get upset. Can't nobody say anything to her. She is offensive like [music] very that's why I'm surprised with Latrice. Latrice is more of the one like I'mma break it up and and stop and this. But when I see the video I'm like >> yeah there was no. So I went back into the office initially. I believed her. She was like she was like I didn't do nothing. I said all right. And then I got video and I go into the office and [music] I'm like, "You sure you wanna you want to keep that like what you just said?" She's like, "I was just breaking it up." I said, "You you did absolutely zero breaking it up." Like there was no And then she says, "Well, I didn't want my sister to get get whooped." And I said, "Your sister was nowhere near getting beat up." I said, "Your sister was on top of this girl." And um they kind of she [music] kind of laughed at it and I said, "Well, now we got serious consequences." >> After the briefing was done, it was finally time for the two girls to learn firsthand what the Lord does to unrepentant bullies. >> Come on. You hurt. Come on. Let's see if you going to be that happy when we get there. >> Oh, I like this over with. I ain't got time for >> Yeah. We going to go over this way. >> They adults. Oh, are they? >> Yeah. Damn. [music] They getting booked in a big boy jail. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Yep. Yep. They're sisters. So, >> I don't need copies of it. >> Okay. >> Um I think that's it. Okay. There smell like trash. >> She could move them up. >> Smell that? >> Yeah, >> cuz the trash is back there.
