February 27th 2023 officers responded to Walmart following a report of a woman shoplifting tell me what happened so I know he knows more but uh she skips SC a few items I guess AP was like you run you're going to go to jail and she ran across the parking lot away from them I I see her as coming up like the entrance there soon as I pull in front of her turn on my like my solid blue lights the cruise lights she tries to run across the street and almost get hit by a car like oh crap and then she decides to acoss the street where she tried to run across right there in front of AFC Back Beach yeah okay and then I obviously turned around I got out and had a run after her puttering cffs so okay I got on back PE and she's actively running away from him so I was like oh up up in a little bit I started tur off back beach and I saw her do a U-turn like okay but if you guys said if you guys don't want uh I don't know if they said I know Walmart wants to prosecute I said I will WR a clant right now for resisting he lit had his blue lights on and everything and she she told us postar that she goes uh but I didn't know it didn't know was law enforcement I didn't know was a cop that resisting em mer too yeah he just turned on his uh these lights are here and got out let let's talk to the complainant first yeah and then uh we'll go from there there real quick before you before you do all the you're I'm guessing you're doing refund uh the refund on the stuff she did buy she's going across can you show us the video real quick can me take a look at it which one of her scanning or running the one of her what any video that you have that you're going to give us what was she concealing everything in just her Brown purse that's the stuff that she concealed in her Brown purse oh just just way and I just freaked out didn't know what side to run to did you see a car that's at police on it see I seen a white car but I didn't notice it said police on it until I was already started across the street did you see any blue lights or your siren or anybody yelling please stop or anything when I was in the street yes when I was trying to figure out what to do not get hit by a car okay um how do you know what you concealed and what you tried to take do how do you know how much it was how many items I tell you when you please just get this cation so I can check my I don't I don't think it's a just for a DUI that was that I pretty much just got charged from like a pre a prior 15 years before 17 years before this eye disease that made I had to have um drops in one eye that made one people bigger than the other people and I was tired from taking care of my aunt that was on hospice the last two years have been my night okay so let's bring you back to today when you when uh that officer got out with you did he tell you to stop yes and what did you do I freaked out I was in the middle of the road I turned around and got out of the street and I stopped finally stopped okay so what what did you do when they told you to stop I stopped and talk to him and then I just started fre over here yes or across the street over here that's not what I'm that's not what I'm told I I I
