On March 6th, 2025, police officers conducted a sweep of a housing authority HHA building and located a man in the stairwell. When he made eye contact with one of the officers, he began to run down the stairs and out of the building. Here is what occurred. Please stop. Second floor. [Applause] Police stop. Police. Officers caught him outside, but as they attempted to arrest him, he fled again. They chased him until they caught him. He continued to resist arrest by tensing his arms and tucking his right arm under his stomach. He was handcuffed and transported to an area hospital to be cleared before being taken to police headquarters. It was discovered he had two open warrants for harassment and criminal mischief. He was processed on the warrants and new charges of resisting arrest by flight, defiant trespassing, and obstructing the administration of the law. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. [Music]
