They were playing with the gas can saying that they were going to light our house on fire. >> The little one actually went underneath my truck to hide. >> I get >> Why'd you put the leash around your brother? >> He said he wanted to play a dog. >> They wouldn't let her go unless she kissed them all. >> We're going to jail. >> It could have literally turned into one of your sons. On July 21st, 2023, officers responded to reports of two unsupervised young boys in a neighborhood. Video surveillance showed the older brother leading the younger one by a leash as they engaged in play involving gasoline, creating hazardous conditions. >> All right, ma'am. So, um, at approximately what time did you receive any notification or notice that anything was wrong? >> I was at work. They came to the Ring doorbell, rang the doorbell. That was when the choking occurred. And when you say they, who are they? >> There's two little boys that live in the condos next door. >> Do you know exactly where? >> I do not. My husband has gone over and spoken to them before. >> Okay. But you've seen them in the neighborhood. You know they live there. >> Yes. Yes. >> Do you know the approximate age? Uh >> I know that one of them goes to Hel Johnson. I don't know their exact age. >> And the other one was younger or older? >> Younger. >> Younger. What did you observe on your cameras >> today? They were playing with the gas can, saying that they were going to light our house on fire with isolatives. They were trying to pour gas into my husband's truck. They said they were going to light the truck on fire. >> When you say that they were playing with the gas cans, what exactly did they do with the gas cans? >> They came up and they tipped the gas can over and said that they were going to light this on fire or something to that effect. Did you in the video see if they had any means to actually light it on fire? >> I could not see that from the video. >> Okay. So, they tip it over and one of the Was this the younger boy or the old boy? >> I believe it was the older boy both times cuz it got picked up one time and then it got spilled over again. >> So, they spill over all the gasoline on your driveway. >> I think they said we're going to burn this. Let the mother burn. Let >> burn. >> Yeah. Let Yeah. They were playing with the hose. They pulled the hose out to the road. They had the hose on. They were spraying each other. They were spraying cars. Um >> the hose from your house. >> Our the hose that's attached to our home. Yes. Okay. >> And then at one point the older boy came up and >> I'm not sure if he was trying to turn off the hose or what, but he turned off the entire supply of water to the house. And then at one point their mother was calling them and they ran off. And I don't know that they came back after that. >> No, that was right before you went to put the gas in. You mentioned something about choking prior to the gas cans tipping over. Can you um give me some details on that? >> When they came over and initially rang the doorbell. The younger boy was either wearing a collar and a leash or just had the leash around his neck. And then in the video, you can see him pull him at one point. And then they walk away and they come back on. And you can see the little one screaming that you're choking me. You're choking me. Trying to get it off. And it was a good 30, 45 seconds that the older boy is trying to get the leash off of his neck. At that point, I think that was when they got it off and they started hooking the leash onto the hitch of the truck, trying to pull the hitch out of the truck. And then it eventually migrated and that's when they started playing with the hose and the gas. So the leash, they knock on your door, they're playing around, he's yanking the brother around with the leash. They go off view, but then when they come back on view, the little one is crying because the leash is too tight around the neck and says that it's choking him. >> He says, "Stop being a" and like yanks him back and that's when he starts saying that he's being choked. >> Okay. >> When they initially came into view of the first camera, he was already on leash being tugged right here and then fell to the ground. Was actually pulled a little bit with the leash. Did anything else happen after the mother called them? >> I don't know that they came back after they were called. I do know that at one point we set the siren off on the flood light cameras. At one point, I think the younger one is on this camera doing it and the older one is on that camera flicking off the camera like being, you know, like wiggling their butts at the cameras, but they know that that was the siren on the cameras. They're very aware that we have Ring cameras. Okay. >> Um and then they ran away and I believe that that's the last time that they're on video. And at no point in time did you see parental figure, a mother or father or anything? >> No. The only thing you can >> The children were by themselves. >> Yes. You can hear the mom call them, >> but that's at the end. >> But that's when they left. Yes. >> Yeah. So everything had been done and >> and that was a good 45 minutes, I think. >> You could tell they were obviously scared because the little one actually went underneath my truck to hide. >> Okay. When the mom called. >> When the mom called. Yes. I mean, we had a 10-year-old daughter. I mean little it gets clear. >> A where do they live? Do you know? >> They live over in building two. >> Wow. >> Oh, she's crying. They're both little boys. >> Oh, it's a little I thought it was a girl. >> A You took it off. Oh, >> jeez. And that's when they start. But they I mean, have they ever done it there before? >> It's never been this bad ever. >> But they have come around here before. >> I mean, they come at all hours. >> They come at all hours a day and rang the doorbell. >> Was there an issue with you guys or is it just you guys, too? >> No, they have kids over there that they play with. There's other little kids that play there. And they all kind of like play over here cuz it's where there's no But in this one is easier and say >> so then they said they were going to set the truck on fire. So called my friend and I was like am I overreacting? They're like no you need to call and report it. >> No. >> Well I mean >> that's a serious problem. >> Like I said and that was even before I saw the choking. When I saw the choking I was like >> I know. So he was like yanking his little brother like with like cough. Yeah. You can show him. My god. And this is what they tipped over. >> This is what they tipped [laughter] over two times. And you can see in the video footage of the wetness of the area and it spread all the way down there. >> Okay. >> They hooked up to this right here. >> Gotcha. And that's what he was yanking on the video that you can see him. >> Yeah. All these marks and all that are from them. They took one of these cans, threw it over there by the They took this out of my truck, put it onto here. But this hose was all the way. >> This is the one that they >> Yeah. As you can see, this is the hose. This is the water to the [clears throat] house. >> Yeah. >> So maybe they didn't know, but they were twisting this one and then twisted this one. This shuts off the water to the house. This hose was also running the whole time. >> Okay. So they had this turned on. And there's >> And then that clothing is that from your child? >> No, this is theirs. This is There was also a black shirt which is over on the sidewalk, I believe. >> Okay. That was plugged in. They unplugged that, but they tipped this over two times and they were jumping in and out of the truck. >> And at no point in time did they have anyone watching them? >> No, not for the whole time. >> There been any other incidents prior to where you have seen them, the children out here without any parents? >> Every single time. >> Every single time. >> Yeah. When the previous incident occurred with the person that we thought might have tried to take them, I actually had to walk over there and knock on the door and tell them what happened. Oh my goodness. >> I mean there just one or two crazy stuff. >> Like I said, I don't want to start anything, but I'm just >> You're not starting. >> It's not It's not the first time. And they're out here constantly. >> Yeah. Half the time I'll park one of the police cars out here to have people slow down so the kids can actually play. Like my daughter wants to come out or something. Actually, I'll have to park one of the the cars out here so people think you're in speed. >> Sheriff's office. Sheriff's office. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> Hi. So, we got a a neighborhood complaint of some >> Hi, all right. >> What happened? >> No, no, they were just neighborhood complain of some kids playing around. So, we were just playing around. Yeah, they always play. Where was they? Was they far away? Which the farthest they ever go is on the sidewalk to that that house right here? >> Yeah. >> This little house right here with a with a little trust and stuff. The security trust and stuff. They go there and come right back. They got got a little friend girl over there. That's the farthest they ever go. >> Okay, here come. >> What's going on, big guy? >> I want to see the police car. >> Oh, they're over there. We'll show you in a little bit. What's going on? >> Hello. >> I got my favorite. I like policees. >> Oh, you do? >> I LIKE POLICE. >> POLICE IS MY FAVORITE. >> You got some pennies in your mouth. >> Why do you Why are you eating pennies? >> They don't taste good. >> They don't? No. Yeah. I don't You shouldn't have those in your mouth. You could choke on them. >> Oh, hey, he got it. >> Yeah, we do. >> Who normally watches them? I'll watch one moment. >> I was out here while he was playing. >> Okay. You were out here with them? >> Of course, I got to watch him. They busy. >> He run all day long. >> Like around maybe. >> It had to be like around 2, three, something. Probably about 3, four. Not too long. You came out not too long ago. >> Okay. >> Are you the sister? >> Yeah, her sister. Okay. >> While you were watching them, did you see them do anything? No, cuz they was in the back right back there with the little girl jewels getting wet with the water and stuff. >> They were playing with water. >> Yeah. Back there in the back right there was playing with the little white little girl over there. Jewels. >> So they were under your watch the entire time when they outside. I'm outside cuz I know how my kids are. They're busy and I have to keep my eyes on them. >> What's your name? >> Ashley. >> Johnson. >> Ashley Johnson. The baby's names just >> and Damian. >> Do they have any behavioral issues or anything? >> The first one though. >> Which one? The older one. >> The oldest one. What what does he have? >> Yeah. ADHD. >> Has he ever been in trouble for anything? No. Nothing. >> I'm thrown at church. >> So basically he went to neighbors or other team some damage on their property. So that's why we're here. >> Okay. What kind of damage? >> There's a bunch of things that they were doing. >> Yeah. Which neighbor is it? A security guard right here. >> I'm not sure. I don't know the security. >> Well, it's the house they always go to right here. The little neighbors right here. We got a black truck. Got a a Charger. a challenger. >> There was a couple complaints, but that was from today that there multiple videos of them messing around and dumping gasoline. >> Yes. Man, they always around there. The little girl that his daughter stay there and they always over there even in the garage. >> Did you see what toys they were playing with? >> Well, normally I know he gave him that scooter right there. >> So, normally they just ride over there and play with the girl. That daughter, they got one little daughter there. But but today, what toys did they have on their hands or hands? >> Oh, they had no toys here. >> No, they didn't they didn't go over there with any toys or anything? >> Okay. And you were watching them the whole time? >> Yes, I was watching. >> Did you see them do anything over there then or anywhere? Any damage to anybody's property? >> No. I sit here and watch them all the time. They play up and down cuz they going to come right back to me and go scrape down up down. >> So, unfortunately, everything was caught on on their surveillance cameras. So, there's not much we can do. We can't arrest them. They're underage. But because you have, you're responsible for them. >> You're going to be have to be held liable for them. >> Okay. >> So, I need you to come talk to us on our vehicle. So, we have to come question you over there. >> Okay. All right. I'm coming. >> All right. Well, leave them in the house. Bring them. >> Well, you can't come back in the house right now. So, we just have to put your handcuffs right now. We'll give you your shoes or anything right now. What's the problem? >> Yeah. >> Well, I just explained it to you, but we'll explain it to you with more detail. So, pretty >> I ain't got no shoes, kid. I get my shoes, girl. >> That whole section has cameras. It shows the kids coming over there, which is totally fine, but the older one has the younger one on a leash by the neck, yanking him, yanking him constantly. And this is going on for several minutes. And then the younger one, the baby starts crying that he can't breathe. >> And he, the older one, he's shing him, saying, "Shut up. Shut up." >> And the baby's like, "I can't breathe. I can't breathe. Take it off. You're choking me." The older one was struggling to take it off. It got so tight. He couldn't take it off. It took quite some time for him to be able to take it off. So, you're telling me that you were watching them? >> Yeah, I was watch I see it right here parking lot. No, I'm just saying I see it right out here in the parking lot. They run all the time. They run up and down the sidewalk every day because they walked all of this with that with him yanking all of that. If you would have been out here, you would have seen that. >> Yeah. Cuz I sit out here in the parking lot and they just drive. >> Yes. They play all the time. It rain all the time. They play all these times. >> I love the place. >> You're so cute. Hey, were you playing earlier outside? >> Mm-m. >> Does your neck hurt? >> Mm-m. >> Do you remember why? What happened? Why did you put that around your neck? The leash? Why'd you put it around your neck? >> Did that tank on my neck? >> Yeah. Why? >> Cuz I put it all my head on the floor. >> Did it hurt? >> No. >> You were crying. >> Cuz put the tank on my tank. He twist the tuck and he turn me a dog because I I don't want to play dodge. >> A >> Yeah. So, I'm going to have to call >> cuz he made me walk on the um wall. >> I did, but I don't be here like that. >> Okay. Why'd you put the leash around your brother? >> He said he wanted to play a dog. >> Okay. Cuz you know you were hurting him. >> No, you didn't know. He started crying. >> Oh, okay. >> Okay. What about What about the gasoline? >> What gasoline? >> You poured a lot of gasoline on the driveway. No, you don't remember. >> Okay. Okay. What What about the hose? You were swinging it around. >> Oh, we was watching the cars. >> You damaged it though. >> YOU GOT THAT in my friend house. >> Did you mean you accidentally hit it? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And I do a spring on the fan house. >> YEAH. EVERYBODY, LET'S GO. LET'S GO. LET'S GO. >> GO AHEAD. There you go. >> All right. So, yeah. So, like I said, I'll come back and I'll explain everything to you. Just give me a few minutes. >> Okay. >> Mine stepping out so the kids aren't I want to leave them inside, though. That's the thing. >> Go to I'll go inside with them. Is it okay? No, no, no, no. Say we don't. She's the mom. >> Yeah, yeah, YEAH. [laughter] >> First name again. Sorry. >> So, we have to anytime we do a report, obviously you were here, so we have to put you that you're here. Your mom, is she going to be here? She >> No, I wasn't here. >> No, no, no. I mean, you're here now to your mom. >> She'll be here later probably. Yeah. >> Does she ever watch the kids or is she more than your sister? >> All the time. >> Does your sister watch them all the time? Does she work? >> Yeah, not yet. Not yet. >> Okay. So, she just So, she's with the kids mostly all the time. My mommy is going to jail. >> No, she's not going to jail. No. >> You okay? Does your neck hurt? >> No. >> No, your neck doesn't hurt. Let me see. Oh, wow. Okay. Let me see. Your hands go like this. Thank you. Now, let me see. Your arms go like this. Thank you. All right. Where did you learn how to um talk? You were talking. You were cussing at your brother and everything. >> Yeah. Is that everything at home? Everything's good here. Everything's good here. >> Yeah. >> Okay. You love your family? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I just make sure you eat every day. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Okay. You got to be careful playing in the street cuz you can't be going in the street. Someone's going to hit you by a car by accident. >> No, we don't go on the street. >> Well, this is the street over here, too, in the parking lot. You got to be careful going in there on your bike. >> We was on the sidewalk. >> Okay. All right. We're going to be out here. We're still going to give you the case number and all that information. All right. We'll be back. All right. Okay. >> Okay. We'll be right out here. >> The little kids that live, I guess, and the the two little black males. >> Yeah. We were going to call the police on them. >> One time. When was that? cuz I don't know what. Let me talk to you. >> Okay, go ahead. >> I'll talk to both of you. >> She has three I have three granddaughters. She's the mother. >> We have a 5-year-old and we know three of them. Quy over there >> on the back over here. And they >> made them all. >> Might not sound like a big deal to some. >> How many kids live there? >> One, two, three. Three. >> There's three of them. Okay. I only saw two of them. >> You sure the same one we're talking about? It's okay. >> Do you know their names? >> Mari, Damian, and the little boy. I don't know his school. I don't know how to pronounce it. >> Mari and Darian. Okay. It was a couple weeks ago. I was right here. I was screaming for her. She was not coming out. And they were telling me she's around there. I So, and I'm screaming. She doesn't do that. I'm like, "Where is she?" They had her cornered in the back, all three of them. And they wouldn't let her go unless she kissed them all. And they were forcing her to do stuff. And I was out of I was so angry. So, when she came back, she was living. I was like, "What's going on?" She's like, "Mommy, I want you to talk to her mommy." I said, "What happened?" She was like, "They were forcing me to do stuff back there and I'm really upset." And I and I I wasn't understanding because I was so mad because she wasn't listening to me coming to me. It was all I was frustrated and smile. You know what I mean? So when she came in the house, she was telling me and I was just like what? >> Then she started telling me and kept telling me more and more and I she knew I was going to get mad but I I would I would have done something but I was so frustrated know what to think, what to do. I didn't want to overreact. She's very upset by it. She was gone for like less than 10 minutes, but I was screaming for her. She wasn't coming, but I knew she was over there, but I didn't understand. She wasn't let her go. >> She came around this way. >> Yeah, she came that way. She finally came out. She was pissed. She livid. She wanted to go in the house. And then I was like, "Okay, let's go." I didn't know what was going. She was tired. I didn't know what was going on. >> She's only five. They're all >> She's only five. Yeah, they're all older. >> So, she said that they all three of them kissed her. >> They forced they were forcing >> 10 times they stuck their throat. That's the >> And she's very upset. She still talks about it and I don't let her play with them. So they come into my back or whatever and I'm like no go like you know get out of here. >> But you never told the parents anything about that happen. >> I know very well. I'm not I'm not I know. I don't want to do that cuz I know it's going to be a competition. I know her. She's just not going to take it very well. >> Okay. I'm not doing that because it's kind of serious what happened. So this is even serious as well. This is even more. So all three of them were kissing her and all three of them that she said stuck their tongue down her throat >> allegedly. That's what she said. I don't know. Who allegedly? That's what she said. Yeah. the grand allegedly. I believe her never lied about >> I know she would never lie about that. The mother this lady they had >> don't call her anything >> I don't want and they were they won't cause problems with me I live here I they did with the other name the other lady lives here her constantly they still do >> I don't know what they still do but they mess with a long time >> cuz I'm sure I'm going to talk to her too they messed with her forever they would mess and I'm like I don't I have my kids here I don't Yeah they always will come here I >> for them not the kids though it was just the parent >> okay >> yeah trying to fish stuff and I'm like I don't want that with the kids >> okay so I I can't leave her because she's in the back of the car. She's arrested. But um the kids are over here. I guess the one of the little kids was had a collar around the little four-year-olds. Yeah, they're inside. They got to check on the little one just because of everything that happened. I told you about the collar and him choking his brother. >> So they But we just have to check just in case. >> I haven't been over there, but I guess the little kids, the 8-year-old spilled gasoline all over the driveway, I think. >> 8-year-old playing gas. >> 8-year-old and a four-year-old. Yeah. Their moms are being arrested. >> What's going on? Dragging a kid around with a dog. >> Yeah, the same one. They're all related. Yeah. Two little kids. Yeah. Hello. Hello. >> So, there was an incident that happened earlier with the little kids and I didn't know if you guys had any interaction with them or if you know the parents or anything. Do you have any like concerns, safety concerns or anything that you've seen, observed in the area? >> Exactly. >> We can't discuss what happened. >> Oh, with the little kids from here. >> Oh, you know, there was the little boy running around in his boxers over there. >> Oh, so you saw him? >> He was here running around over there with the boxers. But I was driving to pick up Johnny when I came back from public. But then the lady and the other guy that said he was asking us for a ride to go there. They was just standing right there. But the mom was right there but she wasn't watching. >> Okay. So yeah. Oh that's where we went. So you saw the mom. Where was the mom standing? >> Oh at the car next door right there. She was standing there with a guy >> cuz when I came the guy was asking me for a ride. >> Did you know him? >> Who the hell? But then the other son was riding the bike, but then the other boy was all the way down there running. Oh, that's not [laughter] >> Oh my god. >> Did you see what they were doing over there? >> The other one on the bike stopped me and said, "I got Johnny while the other one over there in the the smaller younger one, he was running around in like a gray or a blue boxer." But before that, yes, before that. Before that, he had on clothes when I left. And then other than he was just running when I came back. Where was his mother? >> She was right there standing. >> So she wasn't watching him. >> Did like someone call and like was concerned about them? >> Well, they caused some property damage. So that's why we're here. >> That's why cuz he was running over there. Keep running over there. >> Pay attention to her kids. >> That's That's the reason why. >> That's the same thing they did the last time when this lady went. >> Yeah, I talked to her. She Wait, which No, no, this one. Oh, I haven't talked to her yet. Is she there? Do you know? >> No, not here. >> What? What happened with her? She would have told you like real. >> Does she stories? >> Uh, you think she'll be here tomorrow or? >> Oh, yeah. >> Does she have issue with the kids or the parents? >> She has problems with the kids. >> The last time they broke her window and then they denied, but we know that usually sometimes I always come to her. The kids always run and ring the doorbell and run away. >> Yeah, a lot of people have said that. I talked to people who [laughter] said that. They do that to everybody. >> They do that to every to tell them that they need to stop it, but they don't listen. Does do you talk to her at all? >> Yeah. >> I mean, she just need to get her. >> The older brother ride the bicycle next to the truck. I have to stop. >> Yeah. No. Sure. >> They don't know when to stop. >> Stop cuz they're kids, you know, so you got to guide them. >> You'll see the puddle get >> bigger. Oh yeah. I wait till it gets as big as this gets on. >> That was the second time. So >> nice. I don't know if you talked to the other um officer already, but we didn't get it on our body camera. Um I guess your interaction with the kids or what you've seen. >> I mean, they've always kind of be outside and like my kids as well play outside and so I'm not not going to like turn them away. So they play too and ride the bikes and whatever, but like I've never seen a parent outside. >> So you've seen them out here mostly around your area. >> How do they behave? Are there any like safety concerns? I mean, they're a little, you know, like a lot, but it's, you know, I'm not going to >> They're kids. >> They're kids. Yeah. So, it's like I allow it. Yeah. >> We all have, we have our own little like playground, >> right? They all like play from this from this um driveway to this driveway and I've never >> So, you don't even know the panels at all. Like, we never interacted with that. And we've both lived I've lived here for seven years. He's lived here for over 10. Like, I've never met the parents, mother, nobody. >> Hi. >> Hi. I'm hungry. I'm busy. This is my supervisor. I'm here just one of them to see how we go. Is it okay for us to come in? >> Do you know why we're here? Like what's going on? Do you know why she told me earlier? >> Okay. Did mom say for she wanted you to stay with the children or? >> Yeah, I have them all the time. >> Some of the camera shows that that 8-year-old had the four-year-old in a dog chain around his neck choking him. we would actually be here for not a DC case if it went that far. That's how bad he was choking him. So, they were unsupervised. Then on top of that, when he finally was able to figure out how to take the dog chain off the child's neck, they then started playing with gasoline and throwing it all over outside, still unsupervised by an adult. Anything could have happened cuz nobody's watching the gasoline. So, nobody would have known gasoline. I don't know. People were supposed black and wild. Throw a cigarette. Well, you were in here, but everybody here would have been blown up. So, who usually Okay, so since you're at work, who usually supervises the children? Where does mom She says she was here, but she wasn't. If we have c there's cameras to prove she was nowhere near these children. >> Her and the um grandmother. >> So, where's grandma? >> She's out right now. I don't know what time she'll get here. >> Okay. I know she's getting arrested, but I don't know what's going to happen. Let's say there was a no contact order put in place. These children will not be able to be around mom. So mommy would either have to move out of the home or the children will have to go somewhere else and stay with other people. >> But why will they have to get get to that point? >> I said if if >> Oh, okay. >> If >> I mean right now she did leave them unsupervised. It's not her first time. It's not her first time out being out here because SHE'S LEFT THEM UNSUPERVISED. >> BUT THIS time it's very serious because we have a child who was being choked by a dog chain and he could have outside because nobody was watching them. And then we have gasoline being thrown around. A four-year-old and an 8-year-old playing with gasoline outside. And there's concerns for other behaviors from our understanding. Correct. >> Yes. >> I told her about that. You want me to explain it to her? >> Yes. Okay. So, we made contact with several neighbors. I guess they didn't want to call the police when it happened, but about a week ago, um, there was that Damian and Jamar and then also another boy, which they said it was their cousin. So, it must have been your son. I don't know. He's like a heavier juvenile. Is that your son? like a heavier side juvenile. >> He would have been here. Anyways, I guess they coaxed the girl to to play around in the back and then they brought her to the back and she went home crying saying that these three little boys, even the four-year-old, they they each kissed her and they put their tongue down their throat. >> Oh god. Which child was this? >> So, there was these two and then >> which girl was this? >> We can't really discuss that cuz they didn't want they wanted to be anonymous, but they play around with a lot of kids in the neighborhood. >> We're going to jail. >> No, you're not going to jail. But I'm going to jail. >> You don't have any knowledge of what happened here? >> No. Only what she was telling me. >> True. >> Okay. And what is your plans now for tonight? What's your plans moving forward? >> Sleeping >> with the kids. >> Oh, yeah. Just sleeping. I got to do what I got to do. >> And who's with your son? >> No, he's not here. >> Yeah, but with his grandmother. So who would So say that their mom is in jail until Monday, Tuesday. You stay here till Monday, Tuesday. You want to leave them? >> Wherever I go, they going to go. >> Okay. Even if the grandma came home, you'll still be here with them. >> Wherever I go, they will go. >> Okay. What if mom was released with that no contact? What What would be your plan moving forward? >> I have no other choice. I'll be with them. >> So with these rights in mind, would you like to speak to me still? >> Okay. Do you have any idea of what happened today in terms of your kids? Well, we went outside for like what was it? Two I think it like was like two three I'm pretty sure. That's what I one time my little went outside. I sat right there like I always do right there like a little up on the chair cuz they usually just I usually let them ride with little B school up and down um the parking lot and sometime they ride up and down the sidewalk and come right back. So 2 to 300 p.m. And then after they're done playing in the back of the neighbor's house, what time did they come in? Like what time? >> We went back in the house like around I'm pretty sure about 4. >> 4. >> Yeah, cuz it was getting two two house. I just told them y'all let's go. >> All right. You didn't notice when they left the house after that? >> When they left the house, we went in the house at 4:00. But like I was saying, they do they run off. They run around all day. Like I said, they be busy. So, you know, like I said, I bring them outside, you know, just give my mom a little break. Then, you know, I have a grandmother in the house. This is our concern. This is the reason why you're in handcuffs right now. >> So, the problem was that they were out there with you 2 to 3:00 p.m. and at some point after 400 p.m. >> both boys got out and you were not supervising them when they got out the last time. So, the problem is that they got out. >> I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure they was out there playing for a good like I think a good probably 3 hours or so maybe. >> Yeah. So, >> while they were a while, >> maybe you thought that they were in the back playing or something, but what really happened is they went over to one of the neighbors house. >> So, you see the older little boy, um, >> Jamar. Yeah, >> Jamar has a leash and is dragging your other son, Damian, by the neck. He has a leash around his neck. >> Mhm. >> I don't know if you you have dogs. >> Yeah, but pretty much. No, I don't got dog. But they they bought me that leash though when he was done and I just throw it in the trash and they was done with it. >> Okay. We don't have dogs. >> Oh, so they brought you the leash? brought me the leash cuz when they had the leash at first they had he had the bicycle tied up to the scooter. C and Damian they was riding behind each other with the um the stuff with the little thing. So he tied up the school and tied the bicycle up to the school and just ran around the park at times. >> Okay. So you did see the the leash but they were using it to like drag each other on the scooter and things like that. Okay. So but you were outside when that was happening. >> What? When they was each other with the scooter? Yeah. It was in the parking lot then. So at some point you must have gone inside or or they must have left your eyesight. >> They left my eyesight. >> So they went to the neighbor's house >> and he puts the leash around his neck. Walking all the way from the grassy area from your cuz the camera catches everything. They're walking from all the way over there with the leash already on his neck and he's just walking in front of him and constantly yanking yanking him. The little boy is like, >> but he's going along and he's laughing, but like you could see very clearly that is is hurting the neck. So they continue to continue at one point right on the grass before even the the driveway starts of those properties. >> Your younger son falls cuz he your older son yanks really hard and he falls and your older son has the leash and as Damon is on the floor, he yanks it again as he's on the floor. >> That's alarming. But that wasn't even when it stopped. Like Damon was able to get up and they're seen walking and your older son is still yanking and yanking and yanking and is saying uh something along the lines of stop being a little or something like that. Knocks on the door of a neighbor there and then comes back still yanking. goes around to the garage still yanking and then yanks so much that it got stuck on your son Damen's neck >> and you see him crying that it's too tight that he can't breathe that he's choking. He literally like you see him in like in distress. Your other son comes over and is trying to take it off but he's struggling cuz it was on really really tight. So I don't know if you noticed his neck he had a mark. He had a mark right there. That happened the other day right there when he was out there at the baseball park. >> It It was pretty fresh. >> Got scratched with a tree. A tree branch. >> Those marks look pretty fresh. Like >> the one right here like the one right like right here on the top of his chest right there. It's a tree branch on climbing the gate at the park right there at the base at the um at the base park part right here by the high school. I take them there all the time. They be climbing that gate. Yeah. >> They be playing on ground. So, your son has a hard time taking the leash off his neck for quite a long time. It could have literally turned into one of your sons and then he manages to take it off and they continue damaging property. They damage a windshield with the hose. They started wetting everything. They opened the water for the hose and they dumped a whole bunch of gasoline on the driveway and just completely soaked the entire driveway. Like I'm talking about like they crack windshields with the hose. Your older one. >> He got behavior potential problem. >> So the concern is take medication but other than that >> what medication does he >> he um take by and he take clonings. >> Clonodines and what >> that's at night time and by he taking >> vane in the morning >> and what is he diagnosed with? >> He's he diagn with behavioral health and um temper tantrums. Like I was saying, it was my first time. I ain't li I wouldn't expect from my >> So this is this is the thing. >> But they do play rough >> and I can understand all of that. But the problem is that all of this happened and there was no supervision, right? >> And from what I gather from multiple people in that entire neighborhood is that it's not the first time. The kids are seen going into traffic, no supervision. They're you driving their bikes and they're going right into traffic. People are swerving not to hit them. like they're constantly going around damaging people's property. But today it was a big deal cuz literally one of your sons could have. >> So that's aggravated child neglect as a parent to not be able to watch them especially if one of them has a condition and you know you know that they play rough. You know that that one of them has a condition. >> He's hyperactive. So >> So it's one of those things that if they're going to be playing you have to keep an eye >> if you're going to keep I just >> I got you. I just go up and down like I sit for a little bit. I get up and I check on them. But like I said, you know, I let them run. I just let them run around. They don't go far. >> Today it got it got out of hand. Your son could have he could have >> You get what I'm saying? So moving forward, if you're going to watch him, have eyes on them. >> Yeah. All right. Well, I appreciate you speaking to me.
