these cases from the last week or so um
before we start um I just want to make
sure that everyone um go ahead and
follow our Channel over here at Copwatch
TV make sure you subscribe and share it
with a friend or family member not just
because we want you to to see this live
show but because we post awesome body
camera video throughout the week that we
think is great and that you know you
probably want to watch I just want to
highlight we posted a video a couple
days ago and this is one of those videos
so when I'm watching body camera video
what I like to watch I like fake cops
Stolen Valor and drunk drivers those are
the kinds of things I like and we got
two out of the three in this one it's
incredible body camera video from an
interaction that police officers had
with this guy in Dallas um it involves a
fake cop and Stolen Valor it's it's it's
unbelievable body camera video um we
posted a couple days ago so please go
ahead and watch that um again my name is
Daniel you can go ahead and follow me
just about everywhere over at police law
news let's just see where everybody is
watching from today looks like we have
uh penny in from Utah we got cage and
Randy and again hey Randy in from south
Louisiana let's see where we have uh
some other people watching from today
and I'm going get a little bit of a road
map of what we're going to cover today
so you know a lot of the times the cases
that we cover are more controversial
cases and that makes sense because you
know if if a case is controversial
that's something that a lot of people
are going to be interested in and you
know that those are the kinds of cases
we cover where a lot of the times the
these officer involved shootings or
these controversial police incidents you
know I can almost make an argument one
way or another and that's great but
today it just so happens that we have
three officer involved shooting cases
where the police officers all of these
officer involved shootings were
Justified shootings and just objectively
even the most the most idiotic anti-
police Maniac is going to agree that at
the moment the cop pulled the trigger
that it was probably the right thing to
do that that it was reasonable so if you
think I'm wrong on this and you're going
to have something to say about these
officer involved shootings or you think
that they weren't reasonable or legal
that's what I want to hear so because
we're picking three cases today that I
know are Justified reasonable lawful
officer involved shootings you know let
me see what let's see when we talk about
these if you disagree or maybe think
that the police officer should have done
something different because the thing is
if a police off officer commits a crime
or makes a mistake they should be held
accountable for that and we hold them
accountable here on this show by talking
about what could a police officer had
done differently and again if a police
officer commits a crime while on duty
they should be prosecuted but if a
police officer follows policy training
and most importantly the law especially
under circumstances that are stressful
and difficult we should be honest about
that too so in these three officer
involved shootings that we're going to
cover um this is far more representative
of Officer involved shootings that
police officers are typically involved
in so the first case that we're going to
cover happened on September 28 of this
year involving an individual 40-year-old
woman named Olivia Schwab now this
happened in Morris Illinois now Morris
Illinois is a small town outside Chicago
it's probably about you know 45 minutes
to an hour outside Chicago now as I've
talked about before as I've talked about
before so uh pigs Under Pressure oh my
goodness I don't agree at all okay well
I haven't said anything um under
pressure I have haven't said anything so
the fact that you're already disagreeing
is a little strange a little dishonest
so um let's see if we can clean it up
just a little bit if I say something
specific you know tell me exactly what
you disagree with and let's go ahead and
have some kind of a dialogue Under
Pressure so this case happened in Morris
Illinois and you know of the three cases
this is the only case where I I there is
some push back but as we're going to go
through it you're going to see the push
back really isn't on the officer who
pulled the trigger it's one of the other
officers on scene that people have
criticism of and I'm actually going to
criticize that officer but at the exact
time that the police officer um fired um
it was reasonable legal okay let's see
boom news says Morris isn't far from me
oh okay that's interesting boom news
yeah I grew up in the Chicagoland area
uh the only reason as I said now I'm I'm
located here in the southwest part of
the country uh you know I'm I'm here in
the southwest part of the country so I
don't always hear about every single
officer involved shooting that happens
um however my sister is a nurse in the
Chicagoland area soon to be a nurse
practitioner and she's the one who
reached out to me earlier this week
asking me what I thought about this case
because you know she's there in the
Chicagoland area so this happened in
Morris which is you know 45 minutes to
an hour or so outside Chicago happened
on September 28th and involved a
40-year-old woman named Olivia Schwab
now here's what happened in this case so
miss Schwab is a was a 40-year-old woman
and she suffered from bipolar disorder
and skiz
