On June 29th, 2024, officers in New Jersey responded to a shoplifting call at a high-end department store at a mall. The situation escalated quickly when the suspects attempted to flee the scene upon being approached. Here are the events that occurred. >> I'm over here. >> These were you? While one suspect was taken into police custody after attempting to elude officers on foot, a second individual fled the scene in a silver Hyundai and narrowly miss striking a security officer during their escape.
