Call my district authority father. >> I can't breathe. >> Don't fall out of the chair. >> Kids who have powerful parents often act bratty and entitled because they believe that having a parent of influence shields them from the law. But more often than not, their reckless behavior drags their parents into [music] an embarrassment they never saw coming. >> I'm having a PTSD. So >> from what? >> I'm not allowed to at this point. My dad's >> how to deal with this. [clears throat] >> To deal with what? >> PTSD. >> So here are several moments when entitled brat [music] kids got their powerful parents into big trouble. Starting with the case of a drunk 32-year-old whose entitlement landed her and her mom [music] into a problem that could have been avoided. >> Mommy is uh head of city highway. >> I don't care where your mommy is. On noticing the cop, the driver revved up the engine in an attempt to escape. However, after a little pursuit, she drove into a nearby parking lot armed with an excuse [music] for the cops. because I'm having a panic attack and I was sitting outside of my mom's house and I'm just trying to get to my boyfriend's house. I'm sorry officer I turned to blinks and I've been having a panic attack all night. >> Do I have your license on you? [laughter] >> Yeah, I do. Sir, please please don't arrest me. Please, >> why would I arrest you? >> Because I'm having such a panic attack. Panic >> attacks are against the law. I I have I have a I have a I a supposed to pay off a boot in prominence. I'm sorry. That's why I wasn't avoiding you. I'm sorry. When spoiled kids land on the wrong side of the law, the first act is almost always tears and a wellrehearsed victim card. But for those cushioned by privilege and armed with the arrogance of wealth, out comes the bratty card. Armed with some reckless confidence. Step out. Get out of your car. >> No. >> Get out of the car. The window gets smashed. >> No. >> Get out of the car, >> officer. >> Get out of the car. >> For what? >> Get out of the car. >> For what? >> Just get out of the car. >> No. >> Get out of the car. >> No. >> Just do yourself a favor. >> No. Please. >> No. Please. But we also but we also don't bring attention [music] to ourselves when we're doing something that we're not supposed to be doing. And you guys brought attention to yourselves. And that's why we're in this situation right now. Okay. >> We investigated your vehicle. We learned that you guys were underage. [music] We learned that there was alcohol in the car. We're going to deal with it and we have to deal with it in a in a law enforcement way. Okay? >> So whether you get arrested or not, that's not up to me. But [music] if that's the case, we live and learn and we move on from it. Okay. >> Yeah. >> So, just hang out right here at the front of this vehicle for me, please. >> The daddy's girl was cooling off at the back of the cruiser, realizing now that the officers [music] couldn't care less about who she or her father was. >> Officer, >> y >> No, I'm really not. All right. >> He just arrested me for no [music] reason. >> Well, that usually doesn't happen. So, >> no. I'll let you talk to him in a second. >> The biggest [music] thing is I just need to make sure you're okay. We'll figure out what's going on with her. She obviously unfortunately made some poor decisions. So, I need you [music] to take a look right here. Can you clue the tip of that pen? >> You're going to follow your eyes and your eyes alone. Don't move your head. All right. >> Yes. >> That is true. I'm not driving. So, >> I'm going to offer you a poor breath test. But when you guys walked up to our car, >> it's still it's still >> investig I'm not listening to you right [music] now. >> So I walked up to the car. There's three underage kids in the car. It smells like alcohol. There's no container in the car. I am now conducting investigation. Let me borrow this real quick. We're just going to hang. >> I don't >> I don't care. You're under arrest. Can you face towards the car for me? You're under prohibition. I need you face towards the car. >> I don't Okay. Put yourself on the car for me. >> Um, >> the answer is yes. Put yourself on the car. >> I don't understand why I'm under arrest. >> Cuz you're underage and you've been drinking. You can't be drinking underage. Just like she can't have a beer. Just like your friend can't drink underage. This is where we're at. Can you please put your purse in? >> Go ahead and place her on her. >> Can I call my mom real fast? >> Put your hands on your back. Put your palms together. Put your palms together. >> Sorry. >> Just take a deep breath. >> This isn't the end of the world. >> I just left what I said. >> I know I can't have my phone, but like my mom, she's she has my location and my little sister's at home and I was supposed to go there. This is >> no weapons on you or any drugs or anything like that. >> I have a vape. >> Where's it at? >> Right here. My pocket. >> Which pocket? >> Right here. Top one. >> This one. >> Yeah. Reach to grab it. >> Everyone else [music] but the entitled and bratty daddy's girl was being cooperative with the cops. However, she wasn't careful. She'll end up getting herself and her dad into bigger trouble. >> No, we're not going to do that. >> We're not going to play this game. No, you shouldn't. We're about to. >> Okay, you need to calm down. You're an adult. You made adult decisions tonight. Adults can hold their urine. It's actually pretty amazing. >> So you need So you need to call on your period, sir. You don't I have to piss. >> Stop. >> You need to chill out unless you want additional criminal charges. >> You arrested me. My father was on the phone. >> Yeah. Close the door. >> This water. >> I can't take the water with you. It's going to get thrown away. Okay. I'm [music] going to have you walk this way. You have no weapons or drugs on you. >> No. >> All right. Go ahead and put her in the other [music] car so she doesn't listen to her friend scream the whole time. Yeah, we can put it with you. Is >> this you? >> I will never on the other side. >> This side. >> I will never in my life. >> This is >> I will never tow my car. Like I already have $1,000 bills. >> Can you just make sure my bag and my phone are in here? We'll bring your property. >> Thank you. >> Thanks for your help. >> Yeah, no problem. >> My little sister is probably freaking out. >> It's okay. >> I was on the way. >> It's okay. >> All right. So, I got two girls in my car. You got one in yours. Uh, all this is just going to be prohibitions then or >> every single thing be prohibitions. The girl in the back could catch an obstruction charge. We'll see how she acts when she gets to jail. Honestly, she's >> Well, it doesn't sound like she's going to act very good. >> I don't care. >> Hey, listen up. Do you want to get another charge for breaking something? >> Dude, I literally just have to pee. Like, I'm about to pee myself. You can walk me. You can stand in the bathroom. I just really have to pee. >> Well, you just have to sit back and chill out for a sec. All three of these officers after me. They arrested me all because I said I'm going to wait to my lawyer. I was on the phone with my lawyer when they arrested me. >> Listen, just >> get it together. Sit there for a little longer. >> Stop kicking stuff. >> I'm about to pee right here. Like, sir, I really am about to piss my pants right here. >> We'll we'll get out of here soon. All right. >> Well, how long? Like, what are you guys doing? You're already left to let me go. >> Following the conclusion of the officer's on-site investigation, the girls were transported to jail. However, the officers had agreed among themselves to give them the minimum consequences possible, although that was going to depend on each of their behaviors going forward. Step out. >> I can't before you did, you have anything you cut, poke, stick, needles, drugs, anything like that in your possession? I'm going to walk this way. I go between the cars. >> You just listen. It wouldn't be like this. [laughter] >> So bored. >> Come over here. Yep. You're right. I'm super bored. This is what >> This is what I want to do tonight. >> All right. Can we get him locked down so we can get >> Yeah. Let's just go all the way over here. Right. One, two, and three, [music] please. No, not right now. >> So, no, cuz you don't get that till after you get booked. Okay. >> Okay. Sorry. [music] Just asking. >> I know. I'm not yelling at you. I'm telling you. >> Sorry for being rude to you tonight. I'm just >> Here's the thing, guys. >> We get here. I'm going to just be polite about what happened. All right. We get dispatched. We talk to you [music] and there's open alcohol in the car >> and then you don't want to do anything you're being told which >> my dad told me to wait for my lawyer. >> I get that but that's not a real thing. I'm sorry your dad gave you poor advice but that's poor advice. You have to identify yourself. >> That's why I was trying to like call >> but you have to identify yourself. >> So here's the thing. I'm not going to charge you with resisting or anything like that. But you understand you [music] can't do that kind of stuff and you could be charged with it. Correct. >> Do you understand that right? >> Okay. I'm not trying to ruin your freaking life but I can't leave three 19y old girls. >> Okay. I just want you to know tomorrow No, we're not. We might charge you with a song. >> We might Can you untighten these a little, please? >> They're really tight. because >> as to how like the boys got away like they're fine and we're in trouble. >> We had nothing to do with that fight. >> I'm not charging you with doc. I'm not charging you with anything yelling at each other. I do understand >> the call we got was a guy and then when I get there, this young lady in the red is talking to the guy we talked to and we got a call for a fight in that exact location. >> That's how we found you guys. It wasn't just magic. >> So that's when we meet make contact. We all we we find there's there's guys like our hands get pretty armed back. >> In the end, they were all charged with underage drinking and resisting arrest. Just like the 32-year-old entitled brat, here's a case of 27-year-old Anna Gilbert, [music] an attorney's daughter, who was caught driving under the influence, but came up with various excuses to try and dodge an arrest. >> Miss Gilbert, have you had anything to drink tonight? >> I'm having a PTSD. So, >> from what? >> I'm not allowed to at this point. My dad's [laughter] >> How to deal with this? >> To deal with what? >> PTSD. Like, I just told you. On January the 13th, 2023 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, officers observed a vehicle speeding and improperly stopping at a stop sign while on a routine patrol. To confirm the driver state, the officer pulled the vehicle over, hoping for nothing more than a routine stop. However, the officer was met with an unexpected [music] episode. >> Hi, good evening, Miss Gilbert. I'm Officer Flank Palm Beach Police Department. How you doing tonight? >> Here you go. >> Here I go. Okay. Not doing too well. >> Oh, he asked for that. Well, he asked for it. Let me take a look at it here. Where he come from? Okay. Yeah, this this is a certificate of title and this is a um service receipt. And this insurance card expired 3 years ago. >> You still live on You still live on over there? That address you just said. >> Okay. This registration's expired. Miss Gilbert, have you had anything to drink tonight? >> I'm having a PTSD sale. >> From what? >> I'm sorry to hear that. Why does this Why would this trigger that? >> I'm asking for help. If this isn't this is not triggering it, let me try and get to my boyfriend's house. >> Okay. So, you haven't had anything to drink? No. No narcotics? >> No. >> Okay. All right. If you were going to step out of the vehicle and make sure you're not under the influence, and we'll have you on your way. All right. >> To make sure you're not under the influence. far off. That's what it's about. Realizing that her PTSD story wasn't going to help her with the officer, she made another desperate move. >> Come on back over here for him, please. >> I'm not allowed. >> You're not allowed to? What do you mean? >> Why aren't you allowed to? >> I'm not allowed to at this point. My dad's a lawyer. >> Your dad's a lawyer? >> And I'm not allowed to. >> Okay. Okay. Well, even as a lawyer, he would tell you if you're ordered out of a vehicle that you should that you have to comply. >> Okay. >> He's told me otherwise. >> No, he wouldn't tell you that. That you don't have to come out if you're told to. >> I mean, he's a piece of So, >> that's what it sounds like he would say. Yeah. He's giving you bad information. So, if you would go and step out, if you're not under the influence, you be on your way. >> Okay. >> All right. So, come on out. >> Not allowed to. So, we can do whatever. I can park here. You can you can do whatever. But >> no, go ahead and step out. >> I'm not allowed to. >> Why are you not allowed to? Here, let me just leave this over here. Explain to me why you're not allowed to. >> Okay. >> He's not going to He would tell you if he was giving you sound legal advice. He'd tell you when you're ordered out of a vehicle to step out. >> Yeah. I'm sure. >> So, this this is the last time I'm going to ask you. >> I'm sure he's wrong, but I'm not out to you. So, I am. >> Anna, I'm about to tell you something. I want you to listen. All right. you're coming out of the vehicle one way or another. Okay? You can either step out and cooperate and if you do the exercises and you're not determined to be under the influence, you'll be on your way. Or he's giving you a lawful order to step out of that vehicle, you could be charged with obstruction as of now. So if you do if we have to open that door and remove you from the vehicle, you're going to be charged with obstruction. >> I'll get out. >> Okay. >> All right. So come on up. >> But I'm sure I'll be charged with that. >> I'm not allowed to. >> Come on out the car. You will not be charged with >> I'm not allowed to. >> Last chance. All right, come on out. Come on over here. Okay. Do you have any medical condition with your eyes? Not corrected by glasses. What do you got? >> I get seizures. My aquinic seizures. >> Okay. What does that have to do with your eyes? >> Lights. >> What about it? We don't have any flashing lights on in the front. >> That's I don't know. My aquinic seizures. >> Okay. Do you have anything else with your eyes besides seizures? >> No. >> Are you able to walk a straight line? >> Yes. >> Can you balance on one foot? >> Yes. >> All right. It didn't matter to the officers that [music] her dad was a lawyer. They had a job which they intended to carry out to the letter. However, she still had other plans up her sleeves to try and elude the arrest even as they administered the field sobriety test to her. Keep your head. >> What's going on? Do we have to call fire rescue? >> Do you need paramedics? We tried my we all together. >> I can't understand you. >> I passed all. >> You passed what? >> I tried. We passed all this together. >> For what? [laughter and gasps] paramed. [snorts] >> The officers weren't deterred by her acclaimed episode as they weren't new to these kind of gimmicks. >> Let me explain something. All right. This this episode that you're having, while I understand that it might be genuine, we still have an investigation to do. >> I know. I know. Just kidding. The more you're exasperating, I can smell the odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage coming off of your breath. So, we got we got something to do here. [laughter] >> And if you got to go to the hospital, we can continue the investigation there. >> Miss Gilbert, do you wish to do the exercises with me? The officers allowed a few more minutes and proceeded with the field sobriety test again like nothing had happened. However, she kept having different meltdowns between tests. That would not deter the cops. >> You guys are over it. Do whatever you have to do. >> We're still giving you a chance. What are you talking about? >> Shake your head. I need to >> I'm not shaking my head. Whenever you're ready, go ahead and bring your feet together just like mine are. >> Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm sorry to waste your time. >> Not wasting my time. I'm I'm on the clock. >> Okay. You caught me in the middle of [laughter] >> the middle of what? >> You look back in your video footage. I told you that. >> No, you didn't tell me anything. I don't know what you're talking about. >> Do you wish to continue the exercises, man? >> Fine. Just give me Does anybody here have any tips? >> Anybody have what? [laughter] >> Any tips? >> Tips >> to deal with this. >> To deal with what? The exercises. >> Look back at your footage. >> I don't understand what you're asking for help with. >> How [laughter] to deal with this. >> To deal with what? >> PTSD. Like I just told you. >> You didn't tell us that. Well, >> I [laughter] told him. >> I would suggest that you seek counseling for that, but during a DUI investigation isn't the time to to deal with that. >> It was not during it. >> No, I'm saying >> you walked up to me and I told you all. >> Okay. And that's not what I said to you. I said I suggest you seek counseling for that, but during a DUI investigation is not the time to deal with it. This is a DUI investigation. >> Okay, I'm going to ask you one last time, Mr. >> Back in your footage. >> Do you wish to participate in standardized field sobriety exercises? >> Are you going to stand up and do these exercises? Yes or no, ma'am? >> Yes. >> All right. So, when you're ready, go ahead and stand up. At this moment, the officers were right out of patience, and any more push from her would be enough to send her to [music] a place she definitely wouldn't want to Hey, >> this is all you have to do for 30 seconds. Do you see this? Do you see what I'm doing, Miss Gilbert? >> I'm not doing this. [music] >> You're not doing it? All right. You're being placed under arrest driving under the influence. >> Okay. >> And as well as um obstructing an officer as well. >> In the end, she was charged with DUI and [music] obstructing an officer. She pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 6 months of an interlock device [music] and one year of probation. Up next is a case of a woman who thought her family's wealth would shield her from a DUI charge but ended up getting a harsh dose of reality. >> Are you going to argue or you going to get an ambulance? >> I'm going to bite your think I have the money to pay the whatever you're going to hear me. I don't care really. I'll just get a lawyer obviously. Officers received a call from bar management about a drunk woman who had crashed her car into a truck. When they arrived, they realized the diva's level of intoxication was nothing compared to her emptyheadedness. However, it was her sense of entitlement [snorts] that really took the cake. It came from she can't go in there. >> Yes. All right. Where is this your car here? >> This is his truck. I was standing in the window watch. >> Okay. So So you saw you work it? >> Yes. I want her, but I don't. >> How are you, sir? >> What's going on, girl? >> Get that white out of >> Why don't you get out of the car for me? Come on, get out of the car. >> H. Literally, I just pulled out of that park. >> Okay. Okay. Where's your Where's your license here? >> Who are you to in relation to this? >> Boyfriend. Is that her is that her phone? >> No, this is mine. >> Okay. >> If you if you would if y'all will go stand over there, I'll be with you in just a second. >> All right. So, so do you know her and her shoes? >> I bet her. >> I wasn't even the bartender. I just wait. >> So, she was inside. Okay. So, so what happened? Where was her vehicle parked? >> Right between the two. She backed up. I saw I was like, she hit the curb and then all she didn't drive in his truck. Roger that. >> That's so funny. >> I don't think it's funny. >> So, >> I don't think it is. We just make sure you're okay. >> Yeah. all suddenly. >> Are you going to argue or are you going to get in an ambulance? Come on. >> Either you get in that ambulance, get checked out. >> Just go with us. You want then you'll avoid this whole problem. >> Come with us or them. >> Or what? >> That's not That's not I'm telling you right now. >> In all of these, one thing was clear. The woman was beyond wasted. But the real problem wasn't just her drunken state. It was [music] her entitled attitude that sprung out the moment they tried arresting her. >> All right. >> All right. Do a favor. Come back. I am so check your blood sugar real quick. >> I literally >> Are you sure you guys doing it right here? >> What the are you doing? >> Are you serious right now? >> We can go to the car. >> You better calm your teeth right now. Oh my god. You total you got anything on you? >> Like what? >> You keep resisting. You're going to go to the ground. You understand me? >> Oh my you. Like what? >> I want to bite you. >> She was trying to keep you. >> Okay. Um, >> we have to fight her all the way from the far. >> And you're the owner of the white truck? >> Uh, my my mother is, but yeah. >> All right. Can you grab me the the registration and insurance off of that? >> It's chilly out here today, my friends. You witnessed the crash, correct? Can you explain to us >> how this occurred right here? >> Okay. >> She backed out, hit the curb, and then next thing I know, she threw a drive and hit his truck. >> Okay. >> That simple. >> And that's like she just hit truck, >> but she's in the call. >> The only thing >> the the insurance is unknown at this point. We I haven't been in this vehicle yet. Um and they couldn't get it from her. So the the the vehicle's actually in uh they didn't ride together. Vehicle's actually in the husband's name. We don't know if she's divorced from the husband. And this is the boyfriend. >> Okay. So [laughter] >> So he don't have no right to this vehicle. >> Crash. I'm going to the vehicle for the purpose of getting insurance. Yes. >> Yes. And they're just at plain view. There's a smear knife bottle. Go ahead and tell you now I'm not getting open the door. There's no door handle for the passenger side, by the way. >> And her phone is right here. >> Okay. Do you want the phone to bring to her? >> Yeah, we'll get her her phone back. >> All right. Here you go. Reach off. >> Yeah. There's a smear knot bottle down in the >> And then wherever the glove box is on this thing. The woman finally settled down for a little while after her rapid outburst, but then on her ride to the station, she resumed her arrogance, refusing to get off her self-proclaimed [music] high horse. >> So, we're done with the crash portion of that. Um, >> you're just arresting me for doing >> uh You're arrested for DUI. >> For real? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Oh my god. >> You didn't even make it out of the parking lot, girl. You could have gotten somebody >> parking lot. What the are you talking about? >> And yet somehow you managed to crazy. >> And you managed to hit a curb and a car. What was that? I just think it's so it's so stupid. I have the money to buy the Corvette, you [ __ ] Like you don't think I have the money to pay the whatever kind of ticket you're going to give me. Like for real, >> it's so stupid. I mean seriously to make things like you arresting me for what I do on >> Yes ma'am and resisting the case matter >> why because I >> I don't care really I'll just get a lawyer obviously which I'll just get it [clears throat] do you I don't understand how this works. If you get a lawyer, okay, I know how you're laughing so much. I didn't do anything wrong in the first place. I chuckled. I did not my friend. >> It's really funny when you're laughing. He's laughing. I don't like I won't pay for it to get fixed. I will. I paid $75,000 for my car. So you don't think that I will pay to get his face? I will. So you >> like any spoiled rich kid who was raised to believe that a fat bank account could solve any problem, she tried her best to escape accountability. [music] But when the officers showed no signs of budging, the reality of the situation finally started sinking in. >> Who's that car registered to? >> Aaron. >> Who's Aaron? >> My husband. >> Yep. >> Who is the guy? Who's the guy that showed up on scene? >> Aaron. Aaron. Aaron. They're about to blame for like you guys want to do that. That is my fault. I did do that. So, what do I have to go to jail or something? >> Can you go online then please? I really hate being in jail and stuff. This is terrible. Well, currently you're under arrest um for batterying the Leo and resisting. >> Wait, say the first >> and when my partner conducts >> What did you say? [music] >> You see the mark and the bruise on her eye where you struck her? That's going on. >> Really? I don't want to go to jail for what? That >> carrying a car that no one was in, right? Isn't that what you're trying to say? >> That doesn't give you the right to strike off just because you like I like the way you go anyway. >> It's a good memory. But when the woman continued behaving like an erratic child, the officers decided to treat her like one. >> Sit down. >> Sit down. >> Touch me again. or what you do that back. >> Yeah. >> What? >> They're going back whenever you get into the jail. >> Why are we going to jail? cuz she's trying to stay a DUI for what? Turn the influence of what? You didn't take me to the hospital. You didn't give me a breath. >> We're about to do that in just a second. Taking jail for what? Yes. >> Yeah. Yes, ma'am. stupid. >> Oh, you're so tough, >> aren't you? I'm going to put you in the middle of the room like a child. >> Okay. [clears throat] >> Stay right here in the middle of the room like a child so you stop kicking the table. Okay. Okay, hold on. I'm not >> sit down. >> I'm not playing this game with you. >> Listen. Listen to me. >> Miss, listen to me before you get yourself in more trouble. Okay, I need to read something to you and it's very important. >> All right, you listening. After getting a dose of discipline she clearly wasn't used to, she calmed down momentarily, but her ego wouldn't let her stay quiet for very long. [music] >> All right, Miss Miss Collins, I'm going to read you one more thing. Okay. >> Yes, please do. Read me one more thing. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do can be used against unicor listen cuz it's it's important. So, I want you to listen. >> Know what the rights are. Why are you reading that after me? Why the would I be arrested for? >> You have the right to consult an attorney. >> Before speaking to the police and have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future. If you decide to answer any questions now without an attorney present, you'll still have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to an attorney. Do you understand what I just read you? >> Indeed. I feel like beyond your comprehension. >> Okay. >> Gracious. Are you willing to answer any questions now without an attorney present? >> No. >> Okay. >> Why? >> I don't really have any questions anyways. >> They're your rights, dear. They're important to you. >> Let me out here. I didn't do anything. What? I scar. So what? Who gives this? Not me. And that was actually talked to me. I would have told him like six times like shut the up. What the am I even doing here? How the am I in jail right now? The dumbest thing has ever happened to me. I want to get that table again. Like what the are you? I did nothing. barely hit my $79,000 and I hit a piece of whatever the is you think that Oh my god, he's the one that called it. No, you [ __ ] >> Soon enough, the officers had enough of her temper tantrum and decided to show her majesty her place. And as expected, she didn't take it very well. >> I like so much money. You guys are going to whatever your name is like bullying me. >> What? If I was I would not want to hang out with you. You're definitely want to hang out with an insult to me, dude. When I was you, I'll be bailed out. Like literally the first minute I can be bailed out. And apparently alcohol makes you kind of an and then you add it on charges. >> In the end, the woman was slapped with multiple charges, including driving under the influence and resisting arrest with violence. When it comes to rich brats, they believe they can do anything and go scot-free cuz their money places them above the law. Here's a case of another brat who lost her cool finding out that her wealth couldn't save her from the law. >> Just you know, you got to I'm sorry.
