were fake checks yeah and I didn't know till after the fact so this one was telling me that I need to call the bank and there's a debt something you can do with it but I don't know all that I don't know how to do all that [ __ ] okay so you're saying this friend gave you check's written out to you yeah she said that I could deposit them and that they would that they were they were valid they were good she said so what did she give you the checks for so that I could go to the store and like get us some clothes and [ __ ] cuz we're homel us as it is you know I was like okay and I gave her I gave her like $300 out of it she wanted half and I was like jeez thehe and I did on the first one I think I gave her half but I didn't take it out of the bank right there I just deposit I did it and she got mad cuz I didn't withdraw right there when they were closing or something okay yeah and who is this friend her name is Sam Sam do you know her full name and date of birth I don't know her date the stores or what did you do um yeah I went to Walmart I believe cuz I didn't I didn't withdraw any money at the bank and she was upset cuz I guess that's what I was supposed to do right away and she showed me how to get money back or that you can request money back you know when you buy something mhm and then she took my card when did you receive the letter then about the um the checks checks that you were negative balance I don't know if I got one here at Grandma's house cuz Les was H she was reading it to me and she was like like here I it and then I believe I got a um email too I have email so once you got that letter then that's when you realize that those checks were fake that they bounced yeah cuz she always says I'm a trust fun baby I'm a trust fun baby do you have a phone this statement on my own free will a couple of weeks ago I cashed a few checks that I got from my friend Samantha Johnson I was told to deposit them into my account for some clothes and food as we are homeless I was informed to give her $300 out of the checks as well I bank at CoVantage Credit Union and so I went to the one in swo I deposited the checks into my account and then went to Walmart to get some items and cash I later received a letter from the banks saying that I had a negative balance in my account that is when I realized the checks were fake I only talked to Samantha on Facebook messenger and and knows and knows she lives in the city but moves around a lot with with different friends I do have another check from Samantha and it is at my grandparents house at 2580 Babcock Road I was going to cash it but didn't because the other checks bounced I've been staying with my grandparents at this address since Saturday the check is in my book in the basement with other belongings of mine I give the Sheriff's Office permission to go inside and get the check what's that she they're not my grandparents they're lesli's grandparents Leslie's grandparents yeah that's why I said I know Grandma would let you but it's not my grandparents and Leslie is your girlfriend or fiance well she's my best friend I tell everybody she's my girlfriend cuz nobody believes that she so your she's my best friend best friend all right so then I guess you really can't give us permission to go in there huh I thought it was your grandparents house no no no it's our grandparents house um oh come okay well we'll you be able to just walk me in we'll talk we'll talk to Leslie in a little bit then see so when he went inside he told Leslie that they were looking for for be that's why she gave be get we're going to be getting going soon um that bike do you want us to bring that bike back to Leslie's grandparents house she yeah she went to jail yeah her agent put a hold on her um so if we do that did you lock up the place or does it still need to be locked up locked up okay will you you're going to cooperate with us I'm not taking the handcuffs off but you can come upen them and fix it I I will I will check them for proper tightness but they but they can't come off but if we do that bring the bike there you come out you show us where the check is we can get the check out my okay but you'd give consent for us to go with you in there get that check and then you can lock it up and then we with the check cuz I didn't I didn't cash and I kept it right yeah you didn't cash it BC and then we'll lock it back up and then when we come back out here then I'll check your cuffs make sure that they're not too tight and they'll go to the hospital get Med clearance okay you don't need to drugs possession of an illegally obtained prescription possession of drug paraphernalia four counts of forgery resisting or obstructing an officer for counts of fraud against a financial institution and unauthorized use of entity identifying information
