you could yourself and somebody else by driving after dosing on the 2nd of February 2023 police were at the scene of a vehicular crash involving two vehicles as expected in accidents like this when the officers arrived at the scene they first approached the driver whose vehicle had been crashed into by the other Road user hi there which vehicle is yours mine cross TR right there and I was you just pulled over and I realized he run into the backom but I was moving so it wasn't like it didn't it wasn't like a you know Whiplash thing it was just weird like having somebody come push you in a in a line okay so then I pulled over and I got out he was on the okay how fast were you going just coming in no okay is there any damage to your vehicle yeah okay stay right there he tried to push it back in I said no please just leave it okay so you felt the pushing and so you pulled over yeah and you saw him just parked there no I how would I I I felt the pushing and I turned my head and I saw dark I'm like oh my God somebody's hitting me from the officer's discussion with the woman they figured that the other driver must have been under the influence of alcohol and their suspicions were proven to be true when they approached him for questioning however for the driver despite his apparent impairment rather than face the consequences of his actions he decided to act like he was in total control of his actions what's going on oh are you how about out of the road here green Honda F in damage temp tag in the window what's up uh I'm going to be honest with you huh I'm going to be honest with you sir okay I my sister down the road M and I can't times are rough for me right now okay and I had bought a car I got a register the registration ran out recently M and I am currently getting enrolled in Crash and I don't have license I'll be 100% honest do you have any ID on you or any documentation yes I do okay you didn't happen to be driving on Memorial Drive earlier and hit a snowbank there did you this morning so over by the highway that big route that goes out towards the highway no I just barely got here like 10 not even I've been there for like the last half an hour at first the officers were concerned about Towing his vehicle out of the crash scene having settled that they diverted their attention to finding out the reason for the crash and as expected the driver was not just about to admit that he'd been drinking I said I am dealing with a DIY case mhm uh like 5 months back that I'm fighting because I don't drink alcohol any like I I don't they did a were pulling out as I was yeah okay coming out here and they stopped on the bank and I ended up like it slipped down and it hit them and I kept trying to go in reverse to get out back out get out so I concealing his level of impairment from the cops he maintained good composure and his speech was barely slurred but for his ACT to really fool the officers he would need to do better and find creative ways to avoid blowing the breathalyzer and going through a sobriety test everything was right I know I broke the law not having a license I'm scared to death honestly because like I'm an amazing damage the description the the Placer in the window hitting a snowbank over on Memorial Drive after going across oncoming Lanes of traffic well that wasn't me I've been in my sister I'm pretty sure it was oh I I'm pretty sure it was Chris so this is what record the officer's being very lenient with you I've been very nice to her I know and I'm going to be the back cop right now okay because this is the second time we're dealing with you running in this stuff I agree with her observations you appear impaired so we can arrest you for DUI or you can cooperate and and maybe change your behavior in the future you understand what I'm saying you could yourself and somebody else by driving after dosing so then should this be like a I don't know how you say it like a county Pro like a a governor issue then that like needs to just because you have legal medication Chris doesn't mean you're you're safe to drive there plenty of they don't say on the bottle not it doesn't say anything on a is it what is it suboxin what do you what is the methodone methodone and you're at a crease where they feel comfort so it's it's an alternative that has a lot of the same impair impairment aspect we give you the same Euphoria and other things but has a lot of the same effects so and we're trained on that as well so it's still going to affect you in the same way so you should not be driving yourself the woman in question had dozed off in her vehicle revealing to the cops that she was possibly under the influence of some intoxicants when they approached her they did not expect their encounter with
