On July 5th, 2024, police responded to a local donut shop after a male brandished a knife, demanded free food, and slashed an employee's tire before fleeing. Officers tracked the suspect's movements and responded to a nearby shed where he had been hiding. Yo. Let me see your hands, pal. Let me see your hands. Walk out, hands up. Do me a favor. The suspect was eventually discovered hiding in a nearby shed and was taken into custody with a weapon still in his possession. He was officially charged with multiple offenses, including unlawful possession of a weapon and criminal mischief, before being transported to the county jail.
