On June 4th, 2024, a routine traffic check turned chaotic when a moped rider blatantly ignored police orders to stop. Following the crash officers place the driver under arrest and impounded the unregistered vehicle. The suspect was charged with a looting and hit with multiple traffic summonses before being released while the mopeds actual owner was also penalized for permitting an unlicensed driver on the road.
