grabbed the water bell and just squirted her over. >> You literally just told me you threw water on him. >> No, I didn't. He threw water on me. >> He did that to himself. >> Is she hitting you when you're in trouble every single day? >> And do you feel safe with your grandma? >> He's scared of her. >> On May 5th, 2024, officers responded to a residence following reports of a grandmother allegedly throwing water on her grandson during a dispute over a game he was playing. The grandmother was reportedly intoxicated at the time and family members stated this type of behavior had occurred repeatedly. >> Hello. Hi. >> Hi. Did you call? >> You have a room number. >> Where's your roommate at? >> My daughter. >> Hello. >> The detail officer with you. >> Yeah. What's going on? >> He can come out here. >> She's the one. >> Who is she to you guys? >> She's my roommate, but she's my mother. >> Oh, she's your mother. >> Room 71. I was told not to say she's my mother cuz you're saying you guys don't take what's going on seriously if I take >> actually the opposite. >> Oh >> no. I have to do something if it's domestic. I have to we take all of it. No matter what it is we take it serious. So what happened? >> I was dealing with the baby. He went up. He had a water bottle and he was playing a bottle flip and then all of a sudden I guess she had another but I guess she was complaining about the noise because he was flipping the bottle and then she had about all I heard was something hit him and she said he said oh why did you hit me and so I came out like oh I thought she hit him with the hand but I come out he's drenched with water. He told me the water bottle hit him on his chest but it was open. >> Okay. And it got all over you. Do you have any injuries or anything? >> What were you doing? What happened? I was just playing Buzz Flip and and her just came up and grabbed the water bottle and it just squirted her all over me. >> What did she do with it? >> Her just grabbed it and then squirt it. >> She squirted it or did she throw it at you >> or squirted? >> Did she actually hit you with the water bottle? >> Mm- >> No, just the water. >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, she threw water at you. >> Okay. And you said she's intoxicated. >> That's an every night thing. I know you have the history and you guys >> I've actually not been out here before so I'm not sure but I'm sure there is >> but if the call >> she's been an issue before >> many times and DCF has been called puppy can you go over the door >> okay all right stay out here okay what happened with your grandson he likes to wet my couches he puts the water all over the place and stuff and I cleaned everything and the pool and I let him go swimming He went swimming and then he came back and he just decided he was just going to go ahead and throw water all over the couches. So when he threw water all over the couches, I said, "Well, I'm going to throw water all over." >> So I took the water bottle and I sprayed it all over him. >> What's your name? >> My name is Diana. >> You can't do that. You can't throw water on him. All right. >> Okay. >> So I need you. You're going to jail. Come on. I need you to stand up. >> No. No. No. No. No. No. I'm not going to jail. >> Yes, you are. Come on, get up. >> Why? >> Stand up. I'm not going to ask you. I didn't hit him. >> Stand up. Threw water at him. Stand up. I'm going to ask you one more time. You're going to get resisting charges. So, I need you to stand up right now. >> Okay. Put your shoes on. Okay. >> Put your shoes on. >> Put your shoes on. We're not We're not doing this. >> If you don't put your shoes on now, you're going to go to jail barefooted. >> I will. >> All right. >> So, put them on. >> Can you just go to the other room and look at that room, please? >> I don't care. >> Please. >> That's not It has nothing to do with it. You literally just told me you threw water on him. >> No, I don't know if you want to. No, I didn't. He threw water on me. >> So, the son's not watching here. I got it. Not watching. >> Can you please just go to the other world? Please. >> Ma'am, listen to me. I don't care what he did. >> No, I'm I'm not telling you. >> I'm telling you about the dog. >> What about the dog? >> They're the dog. >> We're not doing this. Come on. Put the shoes on. Put those shoes on. >> I do. Okay. So, put them on. >> Come and see. >> You can tell me in the car. No. Stop. Put the shoes on. Matthew, you're going to you're not. She's not getting >> Oh my god. Come on. Don't hurt me. Sit in my car for me. Sit in and I'll check the cuffs for you. Okay. >> I have neuropathy and I have all sorts of things going through my body. They're going to steal everything from my house. I'm telling you, the dog has been You need to go in there and check the dog out. >> Please check on the dog right now. >> I will check on the dog >> in the boy's room. They haven't been the dog. I didn't anybody. Please go look in my grandson's in my grandson. >> I'm going to have to take this out. Okay. >> You're going to see what I did not do anything wrong. >> What do you mean you didn't do anything wrong? >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> You literally just told me he threw water on him. >> No, he did that to himself. >> Oh, okay. So, now we're changing the story. >> No, I'm not. >> Yeah, I know. I asked you what happened if you threw water on yourself. >> Go and look into my grandson's room. I want I want the children and child services going in there. >> They're going to I'm calling this. >> So, you guys made an arrest on this case. I read them. This happened yesterday actually around 10 p.m. The grandmother got upset with Israel because she just cleaned up all the water and he was throwing the water again. So, the grandmother took the water bottle away from him and threw the water at him. The grandmother was intoxicated. She smelled like alcohol. She was slurring. And according to the mother, the grandmother gets like this a lot. So I guess the grandmother is like an alcoholic. >> Okay. Yeah. Uh so I'm going to let dispatch know because they had told us that it wasn't like domestic related. >> I was confused like why would it be child but she just threw water on the child? >> I mean if there was an arrest then the investigation probably resulted in them finding out something else. So essentially based off of what the uh original investigating officer from that case stated in her report was that essentially grandma was the problem and that the house looked good. So it I'm assuming that you know when we get there since grandma's not in the equation everything's going to be okay but we'll go ahead and do our due diligence and >> okay >> finish up our >> So did it go into detail rather than throwing the water or did she throw the whole water bottle? >> She threw the bottle at him. Okay. So basically kind of like what I took from the report. You're here because of that report, right? >> Basically, you know that like the the game that these kids play like where like the the bottle Yeah. The flip bottle. Yeah. Grandma got mad because he was doing that and then chucked the bottle out of it. >> Hi. >> How's it going? >> You're not in trouble or anything. Okay. >> So, this nice lady is going to talk to you. She's going to ask you some questions and then I'm going to talk to you for a little bit, too. Okay. >> Uh my name is Jisha, but you're 7 years old. And what grade are you in? >> First grade. >> With parents, do you have any brothers or sisters? >> I only got one sister. >> How do you like being a big brother? It's good. >> Where's your brother? >> TJ's house. >> Do you know where TTJ live? >> Is it close by your house or probably? >> Um, who do you live with? Who lives in your home? Your parents. You say it's just your sister. >> So, any other adults in the home? >> Do you know your home address >> with your mom? How do you feel? >> Are you ever scared or afraid of your mom? No. Okay. What about with your dad? When you're with your dad, how do you feel? his sister. >> When you're with your dad, are you um is there ever a time he made you feel scared or afraid? >> When you get in trouble, when you do something that you're not supposed to do or that your parents don't want you to do, what happens? >> You can't do nothing. >> And what aren't you allowed to do? >> Um my parents can let me play the game, go to the pool. >> So when you're in trouble, you can't play your game or go to the pool. And what kind of games do you like to play? I like to play more. >> That's a good game. >> And when you're not allowed to play your video games, what do you do? >> I just look at the wall. >> Okay. Do you ever get um hit or spank? >> Who spanks you? >> My arm. >> Does she use anything to spank you? >> I only use her hand and her shoes. >> What kind of shoe is that? >> And where does she Does she hit you on your hand, your arm, your back? >> On the front or at the back? >> On the front. With the shoe or just with her hand? >> On the shoe. >> Do you remember how many times she hits you? Like one or more than one time? >> Probably every day. >> Every single day. >> Is she hitting you when you're in trouble every single day? >> What do you get in trouble for? >> Um, when I don't do my homework. >> For not doing homework. And when she hits you, does it bruise? No. So, I do want to ask you about your grandma. Diana doesn't live in the home. >> She's in jail. You know what she did to it though? >> When I was playing a bottle flip, the water and it got me. >> Where were you at when you were playing the bottle flip? >> Was it like a a plastic water? >> My dad was at work. I'm home watching TV. And what was your grandma asked? >> Are you allowed to play bottle flip? >> Mhm. >> How did your grandma went to jail because you were playing bottle flip? >> Because it squeezed a water bottle >> and then squirt it all over me. >> So grandma was just mad that you were playing. So she just grabbed it and squirted on you. >> Do you know what caused her to get mad at that if you're allowed to play that game? >> Your parents let you or don't let you? At any point, did you get hit by the water bottle? >> No, I just got >> You just got wet. Okay. So, your grandma didn't throw the water bottle at you. She just squeezed the water out. >> Okay. Do you know what? Sorry. >> No. >> Do you know what smoking is? >> Do you know what drinking is? Alcohol. Beer. >> Parents drink beer. >> And when your parents drink beer, do they act the same or do they act differently? >> The same. >> And do you know how much they drink? Like do they drink one beer, two beers, more? >> Probably like every single day. >> At what time during the day are they drinking? Do you know? >> They probably do it at night. >> Does your grandma smoke? >> And does your grandma also drink alcohol? >> No. >> Have you ever seen her drink? >> Do you remember the last time you seen her drink? Last time night. >> At night time. Was this when you got in trouble for playing with the bottle flip or was it a different song? >> It was a different time. >> Do you know if she had if she drunk any beer when you got in trouble for playing the bottle flip? >> Mm-. >> And when grandma drinks, how does she act? >> Mad. >> And when she gets mad, what happens? >> Does she ever hit you when she's mad? >> And how does she hurt you? I just show you something. >> Some stuff. >> What is the stuff? Do you know what the stuff please? >> No. Do you know what it looks like? >> Yeah. What does it look like? Can you describe it? >> And what does she do to hurt you with that? >> I just go ask my mom. >> What do you ask your mom? >> I ask my mom. Um, my grandma was hurting me. >> Okay. What does your mom say? >> Before your grandma went to jail, does she live in the same home with you and your parents? Yeah, cuz we moved there. >> Oh, you moved in the house with your grandma? >> How long have you been living there? >> For a long time. >> Do you remember how old you were? Cuz you're seven now. Do you remember how old you were when you moved with your grandma or no? >> Six. >> And do you feel safe with your grandma? >> My sister safe in my >> And why don't you feel safe with your grandma? >> She's hurting me. >> Okay. Where has she hurt you at? >> I don't know. >> So when she's hurting you, what is she doing to you? >> And where does she hit you at? Does she hit you on your on your legs, your arms, anywhere else? >> My last time hit me on the back of my ear. >> And how did she do that? >> On your face. >> Like this or like this? >> Like this. >> Okay. Do you remember how old you were? >> And where was your parents at when she did that? >> In the room like that just >> Okay. And did you tell your dad your grandma hit you with like this? >> And then what happened after that? You told your dad? Cuz my mom um saw it because my mom was trying my mom getting some food. >> Okay. And what did your mom do when she saw that? >> And scream. >> And then what happened after she screamed at your grandma? >> And bleeding. >> Grandma was bleeding. >> No, her. Because last time her had a baby. >> Oh, your mom was bleeding. Which baby did she have? >> A girl. >> Is that Luna? >> Mhm. >> So she was bleeding because she had Luna. Mhm. >> So, did what did your grandma do after your mom screamed at her? >> I don't know. >> Did your grandma stop hitting you? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. She only hit you one time that day or more than one time? >> One time that day. >> And do you remember what happened before she hit you? >> I don't know. >> Where else has she hit you at? >> On my shoulders. >> And what did she use to hit you on your shoulders? >> My hand. >> Open hand or close hand? >> This hand. >> Open hand. Okay. Did that leave any more scissors on you? >> Uhuh. >> And were you in trouble that time? >> Yes. Do you remember what you did for you to >> I don't know. >> When you get hit, is it only when you're in trouble >> or sometimes do you get hit when you're not doing anything at all? >> I just get hit when I'm in trouble. >> Okay. What about dad? Does dad ever hit you? >> Mhm. >> And then he hit me a long time ago. >> Okay. So, he haven't hit you in a long time. >> So, you said that mom hits you sometimes, right? How hard does she hit you? Does it hurt for like a long time after or does it not hurt anymore when she stops? >> It doesn't hurt when she stops. When she hits you, is it like for a really long time or is it just like fast? >> It's like fast. >> Do you have a bruise or anything right now, do you think? You don't have any anything that shows like being hit? >> Would you mind if we looked at you >> just to make sure that you don't have anything? >> I guess. >> Are you okay with that? Okay. So, can you point to me where she hits you? >> Like right here? Okay. I'm just going to look in here through here. Okay. >> Okay. I'm going to look at the other shoulder. Okay. When you first started living with uh with grandma, when was the first time she hit you? >> About a week. >> About a week after moving in. Is that when she hit you behind the ear? >> Okay. And then you said that she didn't hit you for a long time after that, right? >> I did. >> She did? >> Mhm. >> What did she do after that? >> I don't know. >> You don't know. When you're at home, do you feel like you're taken care of? Do you feel like you're happy when you're at home? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I just happy with my sister. >> I'm sure your sister's very happy with you, too. You feel like you eat good? Like you have you have good food when you're at home. What do you eat? What's your favorite food? >> Chicken patties. >> Chicken patties. >> Those are yummy. >> I eat those a lot. >> Yeah, me too. We're going to go ahead. We're going to send you back over with your with your teacher. Okay. >> Okay. >> How would you feel if your when your grandma gets out of jail and she comes back home? How would you feel? >> I would feel sad if you're coming back. >> Why? Why would you be sad because she's coming back? >> Cuz her just hit me again. >> Are you always home with either your mom or dad? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. Okay. Does your dad work? >> Mhm. >> What about mom? >> No. A long time. >> Okay. So, you're always home with your mom? >> Is mom home right now? You think? >> Mhm. >> Mom just had the baby? >> Mhm. >> Before you go, you just >> everything about it. Tell me is the truth. No, but the truth. >> Yes. >> Awesome. Okay. So, have you ever witnessed anything that would cause you like concern on Israel? Have you ever seen him come to school with like injuries? You ever seen >> any injuries? >> No injuries. any like behavioral issues? >> No, nothing like major or anything. Nothing like >> Have you ever spoke to his mom? >> Yes, I have had one parent conference with both parents came. >> Well, mom and dad. >> Mom and dad. >> What were your impressions? >> They seemed to really be interested in what was going on with him and ask questions. And >> so, you felt as if they were like invested. >> I thought they were invested in his benefit. >> Yeah, they seem to be. >> Okay, good. >> Um, I know he's new to this school. But he does miss >> a lot of days. >> A lot of days. >> Yeah, we noticed he's got like 35 abs. >> He misses a lot of days. That is a a concern that I like the major concern I would have with him and he's very low in >> How often does um does Isaiah miss his homework? >> He actually does it. >> He does not. >> He does do it. >> He does it like >> every week. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> For the homework, is it like does it have to be turned in on Friday? >> On Friday. Yeah. They get it on Monday and it's like usually four or five pages both sides. There's also a reading log on it. He doesn't always do the reading log part where they read every day or they have someone read to them. He doesn't usually do that portion, but he does both sides of the others. >> Yeah. So, as far as his regular assignments, they're always turned in. >> He turns them in. >> You ever see him like cry or like in bad moods? >> Not really. He's usually in a fairly good mood. If he falls asleep every once in a while like in fact today he morning when he came in he fell asleep for a little while. >> So you usually do some water you usually do like the car pool and stuff for for pickup and stuff. >> No, I'm uh go with walkers and car rider. >> Do you know how it is excuse me Israel gets home? Does he get picked up by mom and dad? Does he take the bus? >> He's a car rider. I don't know who picks him up really. >> Okay, that's all we needed to know. >> Hi Julia. >> Yes. >> Hi. I'm here with DCF. >> Oh yes. just here to talk to you really quick about some of the stuff that's happened. Uh, you mind if we come inside? >> Yes, absolutely. But it's 2:00. I have to >> I know. I know. We just I I know. Trust me, we know. >> His father is here, too. >> Okay. Yeah, we can speak with him first and then while you go pick him up, bring him back, and then we'll we can continue from there. Thank you so much. Hey, how's it going? >> Hello. >> Is that Luna? >> Yeah. >> Adorable. >> Do you know who um Kayen Kayen? That's my um that's my nephew. >> Okay. The reason why I asked because we went to the school to speak to um your son and he mentioned that Kayen was his brother. His brother just lived somewhere else. So >> they grow like brothers. You can say that they were like uh they grew up like a week apart from each other. >> Well, Jason, my name is Jisha. I work for the Department of Children Families. >> Um I'm out because of an incident that took place with Are you guys married? You and Julia? Are you married? >> Uh no. No, we're not. >> No, not yet. Okay. >> I wasn't here. I was at work while this happened. So, >> oh, >> I I I really don't even know what really happened as far as from what they told me happened. So, >> well, can you tell us what you were So, >> he was out here playing and I guess she hit him in the back of the head or threw a water bottle at him or something like that. >> And mom was here though. Mom saw the whole thing. >> Yeah. Yeah. Mom was here. But as far as I'm concerned, bro, she is always be like doing like some crazy stuff anyway. You know what I'm saying? Like verbal verbally. You know what I'm saying? and try to, you know, take take her take her slide off and try to hit him with it sometimes. You know what I'm saying? I've seen that, but I stopped her and stuff. >> And what was her reason for trying to discipline him? Was he like doing something to the mic or was it out of nowhere she was just trying to hit him? >> As far as I'm concerned, he was probably trying to play with her and she didn't want to play so she, you know what I'm saying, got mad, trying to hit him or whatever. >> You know, he's a kid who wants to play, but she I know she's a little older. She probably doesn't want to play all the time. You know what I'm saying? >> And this is grandma's house, right? >> Yeah, this is grandma's house. And you guys have been living here for like about a year. >> Yeah. >> In that year, how often do you think like grandma's gone off like that? >> This has been going on since day one since she was a kid. >> You know what I'm saying? This is this is not nothing new. This has been going on since Julia was a kid. We lived here like like four or five years ago for like a year as well. >> Mhm. >> And it was like pretty much the same thing. You know, the only reason why we came back is because she was sick and she needed help paying the bills. So, she doesn't pay any bills. We pay all the bills. This has been going on forever, dude. She'll drink and then when she drinks it's it's over with. You know what I'm saying? She'll just start saying some out off the wall type stuff, you know? >> I got you. >> And she drinks every day. >> What does she drink? >> Pretty sure like vodka or something. She carries around like a little tea bottle. >> So, it's a it's a tea bottle, but the the liquid inside is clear. >> It's not clear, but it's like it's different colored every time. You know, she'll she'll she'll make a little she'll make a little cup. You know what I'm saying? She'll pour a little juice in there. >> You ever like smell it? Does it smells like liquor? I don't have to, but I can just tell when she's trying the way she I I know I know. >> I got you. >> I already know. I don't like going to cook and stuff. I'm pretty sure I've seen Baka models in the trash can. >> You guys ever like corporally punish Isaiah? >> That's real. >> Israel. My bad. >> What do you mean by it? >> Like you ever like hit him when he doesn't do his homework or like you know a little smack? >> Yell at him. You know what I'm saying? Yell at him. I may threaten him and be like, "I'll take the belt off on you and get you right real quick." But I never hit him. You know what I'm saying? That just by me saying that, that should be enough. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Just raise my voice a little bit. You know how men are, you know. Yeah, I got you. >> They hear they hear the voice and authority and then they do what they're supposed to do. You know what I'm saying? That's as far as like I haven't given him a spank in a very long time. >> Yeah. What about mom? >> She right now I mean she pretty much lets him get away with a lot I guess right now cuz he's like focus on the baby. But you know what I'm saying? >> He's a pretty good kid though. I really don't have never no problems with him. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? He does his homework, chills in his room, plays video games, freaking goes outside the kids next door. You know what I'm saying? So mom doesn't uh implement any corporal punishment with him either. >> What do you mean by corporal punishment? Like >> so yeah. So just so that we're on the same page, the corporal punishment is like basically in Florida it's totally legal for you to like spank your kid. It's just like can't be excessive. You know, >> he can't she a long time. Very long time. As far as I'm concerned, when I yell at him, >> it works better. >> It works better cuz he he'll get teeyed and I'll just be like, "Bro, just do what you got to do." You know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. >> Is there ever a problem with the homework? Like does he not want to do the homework sometimes? You know that's kids. I never wanted to do homework either. But yeah, he'll he'll try to like get over some days. You know what I'm saying? But he always like they give him a packet. He hasn't finished before the week. So So miss him one one day, he might miss it, double up the next day. You know what I'm saying? If he miss double up the next day. That's all you have to do. If he doesn't do his homework, he can't play can't he can't you know basically can't do anything. So he does homework. Can't go outside. Can't play the video game. You know what I'm saying? >> You said grandma drinks like every day. So, how many times throughout the week she's like snacking? >> I would say at least like four or five days out the week when she's drinking. It's always little stupid stuff that she has to say. Trying to always start an argument with somebody. You know what I'm saying? Just >> Is she like physically aggressive or just verbal? Most of the time >> verbal, but she can get physical and she has put her hands on Julie even before she has a video. But yeah, she feels like she could put her hands on people, which I don't understand why, >> you know, and she feels like she can get away with it. >> Do you know if she ever had like treatment for her drinking, if it's been going on since Julia? >> Yeah, she's been drinking ever since Julia was a baby. It's not a new thing with her mom. >> Was grandma ever diagnosed with like any kind of like mental disorder, behavioral issues? >> Not that I'm aware of. I know she's sick right now due to her drinking. She's supposed to be in the hospital, too, but she just didn't want to ever go. Eventually, at some point, you know, grandma's going to get bonded or bailed out. >> She's getting out at some point, >> right? >> And you know, this is her house, >> right? >> You guys have established residency, right? So, you guys still live here. >> However, at the same time, when she comes back to this house, there is going to be a continuation of issues. So, have you guys started talking about formulating a game plan as far as like how to move on from here? >> Yeah. Because, you know, you could be hopeful that she's not gonna try to keep stirring the pot, but I highly doubt that in the time that she spends in counting, I'm >> sure it's not it's not gonna stop. >> It's not gonna stop, right? >> There's places we can go. You know, I have a little money saved up. I'm seeing what I can do on this. It's, you know, I think >> it's crazy nowadays. It's really expensive. >> I know, man. Trust me. >> She's not working right now, so everything's kind of like on me right now. You know, she's got to watch the baby for at least. What are you suggesting if things escalate? Well, we just cuz we pretty much stay in the room all day. We don't bother her. So >> yeah, but he's still living in the same house. There's always that potentiality. I'm just saying that it would definitely be in everybody's best interest. You and the girl kind of like get together, start getting to work on that plan. >> Yeah. >> You know, however, if she does now continue that behavior, and break that no violent contact order, >> she'd be facing additional like enhanced charges. >> Is this your mom or his mom? >> No, mom. Okay. >> Yeah, mom. Okay. This is a like where you grew up. This home is where you grew up. >> Okay. Okay. for you guys. >> The place that we were staying at, they didn't want to renew the moose. So, and she needed help cuz she's really sick. I don't know if you seen her, but she's very sick and she she wasn't working at the time. And so, she wanted me to help pay her pay the bills. And since they didn't want to renew the lease, I was like, "Okay, we can come back." Cuz I could have found another place. I wanted to help her out because she was really sick and alcohol is really not helping her at all. I could real play or do your homework or something. >> Yeah. Do your homework. >> Yeah. Please >> get started on that homework, buddy. That way you can start playing video games later. >> I like how she been dealing with uh drinking all my life. So there was always violent in the house and my dad covers the drinking. >> So it seems like nobody said anything bad or negative about him at school. It seems like he behaves really well at school. He does pretty well at school. Um >> they did voice a concern though about him being like absent a lot. Is there like a specific reason why? >> Oh, before it was absent because we had just gotten this vehicle. We were using her vehicle. So, every time she would get upset or mad, she would take she would take the vehicle. >> She would take the car from you guys. >> Yeah. But then we ended up getting our own vehicle cuz we couldn't we couldn't go shopping. That was our transportation at the time. >> I'm going to ask you a couple more questions and understand too before I ask these questions. I want to preface it by saying corporate punishment spanking is legal in the state of Florida. You can spank your kids. So, don't feel like scared when I ask these question. Do you ever like spank Israel when he like misbehaves, stuff like that? >> Yeah. But not like bad like or throw like not in the back of the head, you know, just like a little slap on me. Yeah. >> And how often? >> Not often. Only when he's like really really like out of control, but like out of control. >> How often do you say that? Uh you drink? >> I just had the baby. So I I literally had one drink. It was one night that we had like after you gave birth. >> Yeah. After birth, we had a get together and we had a drink. And what about Jason? >> He probably has like a few beers a couple times a week, but not he's not like crazy and like >> doesn't like binge drink or anything like that. >> Yeah, he doesn't bench drink and he's not like a raging alcoholic. >> Can you tell me like what happened to be able to get >> Yeah. So, we were supposed to go play bottle flip in the kitchen, but I had to change. It was a water bottle. So, we always put the bottle and whatever. Whoever wins either he loses, he has to go clean his room. >> Oh, so there's like a whole thing with this. It was like rules. >> Yeah, it's like it's that we play. Yeah. >> I thought he was just like flipping the bottle. >> No, it's the game that we're playing. So, he probably was he went out there and thought it probably started before me, but just practicing, you could say. >> And then I had to go change the um the baby's diaper, but I was coming around the hallway and I heard like a like a you know when you hear a water bottle hit some somebody >> and I said, "What happened?" And I look and there's water all over his face, all over him. So, I'm like, "What the what's going on?" You know? >> Do you know how much he drank? I don't know what the size, but it's like a those bottles like this big of vodka. >> A handle like a 750. >> Yeah, something like that. But it may be a little smaller. I don't think it's 750. Those are the big bottle. But >> she had the whole bottle >> apparently. Yeah. >> I know. When she drinks, she just goes crazy. >> You said that was what was her name? Yeah. >> I don't know. She drinks different ones. >> All platinum. >> So, usually when she's drinking and she likes violent, physically violent, >> verbally and physically violent. Verbally and physically. And how often is that like throughout the week? >> Every night. >> And how do you keep like your family separated from her? >> We stay in the room. We lock ourselves up in the room. >> And she doesn't like try to >> Yeah, she does go door. >> Yeah. If you go in my room, you can see the the border piece is broken. >> The frame. >> Yeah. The thermostat from the for the AC is broken, too, because she was Oh, it's too cold and Oh, nobody got nobody going to get air if she ripped it off the thing. But they said it's fine because this is her house. So, >> it's not a crime to break your own stuff. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. He doesn't like that. >> He doesn't like that. >> And but everybody else, he's nice, too. He's very nice, welcoming, friendly, but to her, he's scared of him. And I'm scared when they're around each other, too. >> How many times has grandma ever like physically hit Israel? >> From when I was here, from what I've seen, it was about like three times. >> Three times, you? >> Yeah. And then I would I would be outside and I walk in and I'll see her raising her hand like with the you know with the chunk closet >> and you stop her >> and I'll be like, "Hey, what are you doing?" Like she didn't know I was watching and like do this and I'm like, "I'm here. You need to come and interrupt me and I see what he's doing. I'm watching him at all times." >> Yeah. >> What he's doing. It's petty stuff for you to like, you know, hit somebody, commit a kid. >> Was she diagnosed with any mental health or anything like that? >> Not that I know. So with the march man um substance use and like mental health or >> spec it's specifically for substance abuse. >> Okay. >> But I mean a lot of times those things go hand in hand. >> Okay. >> It's very honest from my time it's it's pretty rare for someone to have like an absolute mental episode that it's not associated with some type of substance abuse. >> You know what I mean? Usually people that have some type of a condition like it's been acknowledged already previously in their life and they're medicated you know so they take whatever is that they need to take. >> Okay. That's called the court. >> Correct. >> So you you would talk to the Delray courthouse.
