Witness the witness the keys being carved, but she will go down for a medicine. Okay. >> Okay. Can I get a protection order? >> Yeah. Okay. Hey, would you mind just standing here cuz they're they're asking for a sergeant to come out now. >> So, the sergeant's going to come out and just tell them tell them exactly what you told me that they were saying that they were going to your house and that you thought that they damaged some of your cars and stuff. You don't got anything on you that I need to know about cuz once you know of >> Not that you know of I might got a little glove in my pocket in your pocket. All right. Well, I don't see anything like that. Nothing in your past. But I'm just just be aware of it. Okay. >> I was packing ground like I was >> I got your unit down. Taco was officially charged with aggravated menacing, obstructing official business, and resisting arrest. Coming up next is a crazy case of a drunk, agitated suspect who thought she could bully the cops only to have it backfire spectacularly. >> Whatever. I walk outside, he locks me out of the house, throwing my bag out the window, my kids in there, >> so I'm going to be I don't care. I'm emotional. You work for me. I can I can What are you going to do? Arrest me for screaming? This is what's going to happen. >> Stop running your mouth. You're going to jail. Okay, you're going to jail. Let's go. You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest for conduct. >> On June the 7th, 2023, police responded to a domestic dispute after a woman, Danielle, allegedly tried to drive off with her child while drunk. The child's father intervened, taking her car keys to stop her. When officers arrived, they found her in the driveway visibly upset and highly agitated. >> Xander, you need to put Xander down. Listen, he called the police. >> Go back up there in front of my car. >> No, I'm too Shut the up. >> Hey, you need to come down. >> Go back up here in front of the car. >> I'm trying to leave, but he took my car keys and I can't go anywhere. So, yeah, I'm going to be the problem because he won't let me leave. He can't leave with our kid. Like, >> he won't let me go. >> Thank you so much. What's going on? Just arrived keys. She >> He won't let me go. >> Got too intoxicated, I think, and aggressive. >> Trying to make me look crazy, but I'm not make crazy. I just want safety bag. >> Do me a f talk to this officer. Okay, >> I appreciate it. Thank you. >> Go over here and talk. Stay out of the road. Just go wait till he comes up. >> No, kid. >> What's going on? >> Nothing. We got into aing argument because he didn't want to me. Fine, whatever. I walk outside, he locks me out of the house, threw my bag out the window, my kids in there, >> so I'm going to be I don't care. I'm emotional. So, I'm going >> But we're standing 3 ft away from each other. I don't care. I don't care. You can hear me. That's good. I don't have to whisper, do I? No, I don't. My kid is inside. He has my kid. He has no rights to my kid. So, I'm going to go in and get my kid. He has my car keys. >> Do you guys live together? >> No, we don't. I have my own place in here on. He has my car keys. I'm trying to go. I'm trying to deescalate the situation. I can't leave because he has me here. >> Okay. End of story. So, get my car keys and I'll go and the situation is revolved. Officers tried to question Danielle, but she refused to calm down, yelling at both the officers and the father. >> Do you guys have the kids together? >> No. >> You guys aren't married. You don't live together. You don't have kids together. >> This is my kid. >> Just boyfriend, girlfriend. >> No, this is my kid. He's nothing. >> Get my car key so I can leave. The situation would be a issue if he didn't take that >> cuz he just have the one kid. This is my >> I understand that. You just have the one. You just have one, right? >> Get my car keys. >> Well, I'll tell you what. Quit yelling and screaming at me. >> No, I don't have to do anything. You're a police officer, right? But I don't owe you. You work for me. >> Not going to yell. I can't. I can't. What are you going to do? Arrest me for screaming? >> I didn't say that. But you don't. >> But you can't tell me what to do. You can't. You can't. Sorry, but not today. >> So So to take care of this >> fake, but not today. >> To take care of this problem. my car key so I can take my child home and that will resolve the issue. >> Was there any Was there any kind of an assault night or anything like that? >> No. No, there was not. >> Okay. Just so I understand. >> Get my car keys. >> Just so I understand >> what was going on tonight. >> Nothing. I came over here after hanging out with a friend >> to hang out with him. He didn't like how I was acting. Fine. So, I'm going to go now. But he thinks I'm drunk. I'm so sober. So like he has no right to hold my keys against me. Okay, >> he wants to call you guys because I'm having an issue, but it's because he's acting like a [ __ ] >> Okay, so I want to take my kid. I want my car keys. I'm going to go. >> Have you had anything at all to drink tonight? >> I have, but I'm sober. >> Okay. >> Like I'm okay to drive. >> Well, obviously he's concerned. >> I don't care. He has a big ego and so is his pet brother that lives in the basement. So, like I don't like >> Okay. Well, I'm not the issue. We'll see if we can resolve this for you. >> I need my car keys is what I need because that's what he's keeping for me and he has no right to keep those. He's the issue. I'm not. I'm trying to leave. >> Why does he Why does he think that you're intoxicated and shouldn't be driving and holding the keys? >> Because we're adults and we drink alcohol. >> Okay, I get that. >> Why are you asking me that question? >> I'm trying to find out what's going years old. Get my car keys so I can put my child in the car. Thank you, Danielle. >> No. >> Tensions rose quickly as the officers tried to hear both sides, but Danielle's impatience soon took over. >> So, what happened tonight? >> Uh, just some drinks and uh I've had a few myself, but I think she had a few too many. So, um >> Well, she's pretty emotional obviously. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Why is she like that then? Because >> we were I was I was telling this officer, we were together before. Um, now we're not, but we were being friends and trying to work on things and uh, yeah, >> to be honest, she sex and I didn't. So, >> okay. >> And then that's when it honestly out of >> That's when things got out of hand. >> Yes. Yes. When I >> How much has she had to drink tonight? >> I don't know. Maybe six trulies. Six or seven. I I got to look at the box. I've had like three or four myself. >> I don't know that she's like impaired. >> Yeah, she's not impaired. I wouldn't say. No. I mean, I could smell a little bit of alcohol on her. I mean, just a little, not a lot. For >> sure. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. >> I mean, I don't know that she's too drunk to drive. >> Okay. Okay. I mean, I just was scared for my son's sake. So, >> was she drinking like when you were here? >> No. That's what my problem was. I didn't know what she drank when she came over cuz she smelled like booze and then she got in the shower and washed off and then had a few more trulies after that. She told me she had four before she left and that was it. But I thought I smelled liquor. That's what worried me was that >> I can smell I mean just really faint. >> Yeah, no problem. >> You know, and and it doesn't appear that she's like highly intoxicated or impaired that maybe she can't drive. >> Yeah, it this has been going on for like an hour and a half. I walked all the way down the street, walked back to hopefully settle things down and then that's when I came back and she was walking out with my son and I was like, I don't know if you can drive. So, >> okay. Yeah, >> that's your big your big concern is when nobody was assaulted a threat. >> Some furniture was thrown around in my room, but I wasn't in there at the time. That's when I was walking down the street. When I came back, I came back to a wreck room, but >> thank god I wasn't. >> So, to take care of the problem, >> we get her keys back and go on her way, right? >> Yes, I can do that. >> Yeah. Okay. Yeah. But >> you're going to let her drive with my son? >> She That's your son? >> That's Yes, that's my son and her son. So, we're going to let her take my time. >> So, you guys have never been married? >> No. No. >> There's no like custody agreement, anything like that? >> No. >> Okay. Um, >> I don't care. >> Listen, you listen. >> Have you guys ever lived together then? >> Yes. Like I said, we've faced charges before um child endangerment and >> Okay. >> Um, we've been through the court case and all that stuff and worked on it. It's been like five years since that happened. >> Well, when I asked her if he had any children together, she said no. So that's you guys have that child together. >> That's her son. Yes, that's that's him. >> Okay. >> The routine welfare check quickly turned confrontational when Danielle began to think that she was in the right frame of mind to order the officers around. >> Danielle, he tells me that that's that you guys have that child together. >> This is my kid. He has no rights to him. >> No, I didn't say he did. I'm just You told me rights towards him. Absolutely. >> You told me that you didn't have a child together, >> right? We don't cuz I take care of this child. >> But but it but you guys have a child together. >> This is my kid. >> I understand it's your kid, but it's his kid, too, right? >> My kid. >> Okay. This is what we need to do. I can smell a little alcohol on you. >> Congratulations. You can take a little breath test and tell me that I'm not >> Well, this is what what we'd like to do. We want to make sure that you're not impaired. >> Congratulations. You want a sticker? >> You want to cooperate with us or not? I'm listening to you. Am I not? >> No, you're running your mouth and you're not listening to me. >> Do that. I'm cutting you off. No, I'm not. So, I'm allowed to say whatever the I want to. >> We want to check and make sure that you're not impaired. >> Congratulations. >> Okay. And if you're not impaired, we'll give you your keys back. You can go on your way. >> Congratulations. >> Okay, >> cool. >> Will you take a couple tests real quick? >> Test because I'm not impaired. I want my car keys. I'm on a go. >> Then let's do that real quick and let's get you out of here. >> Okay. The officers tried to deescalate, suggesting a field sobriety test. As they worked to keep things under control, her attitude only escalated, setting the stage for a heated clash. >> 125,026. >> All right, you go and put your foot down. >> Well, I can tell you right now, I would not let you drive. I wouldn't after what I observed in your eyes. Absolutely not. >> Okay. Well, you can do the breath breathalyzer test, which will really tell you how much we'll we'll get that. call. >> Huh? >> That's what she doesn't have any family. She doesn't have anyone who can come and get her. >> Chase, seriously. >> Hey. >> No. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. He says you're impaired. You're not driving >> and you're not and from this from this. Listen to me. So you don't I'm impaired. >> You're intoxicated by what he tells you. >> You're not going anywhere. You want to start yelling? Tell me that I'm impaired until you do a breathalyzer test and I'm legally over the limit. >> I tried to make you do a breathalyzer test. You want to stand up? >> I don't have to stand up. Where is that in the book? >> Where is that? >> Where is that in the book? If you think Where is that? >> Pull it up. Pull it up because I'm going to tell you right now, there is no law that says that I have to stand up to do a breathalyzer test. >> The odor of alcohol coming off your >> Doesn't matter. Anyone that drinks alcohol, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You have to do a breathalyzer test. You have to do a breathalyzer test. You have somebody come get you. >> You have to do a breathalyzer test. >> Do you have someone to do a breathaly? You can get your sergeant. >> I'm the supervisor. >> Okay. You get another supervisor that actually they're talking about this. What's going to happen? >> Stop running your mouth. You're going to jail. Okay. You're going to jail. Let's go. You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest for >> conduct. You're under arrest. Quit resisting. Stop resisting. You're going to catch another charge. Stop resisting. Now you're being charged with resisting arrest. >> Stop. Stop. I haven't done anything. I haven't done anything. Seriously, tight. >> Can't even tell where now at Stand up. Don't play that. >> Come on. >> Stand up. Stand up. >> My body cam came off. >> Yeah. >> Really, Chase? This is what you want right now on the ground. >> Really, Chase? This is what you want. No. Get in. Get in. >> Get in. >> Hold on. The car. Danielle's resistance didn't stop there as she kept shouting at both the police and the child's father and refused to cooperate even while being transported. >> Danielle, come on. Come on. Come on. You had no problem fighting me earlier. Come on. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Let's go. Danielle was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Up next is Marissa. A wild case of a drunk unhinged suspect who quickly learned the hard way what happens when you mock the police. You're not good. WOULD YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH? HAND, PHONE, DIAL, CALL. I need you to do that. >> You do realize that we >> Yes. >> I promise you, you would be disappointed with yourself if you watch this tomorrow. On August the 17th, 2024, officers responded to a bar after reports of a highly intoxicated woman who refused to leave and had slapped a bartender. They found the woman, Marissa, outside crying loudly, verbally defiant, and struggling to follow directions. >> So, she's the one you're wanting to leave? >> Yeah. >> All right, you're gone. We're doing great. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Okay, >> stand by. >> Listen, you're going to run. He's going to run out of patience with you and he's going to rest >> cuz I have less than everybody and somehow I'm still holding it together. I don't know how. >> After 20 minutes of negotiation, the officers finally lost patience and decided to take action. >> One second. One second. Quit talking. >> All right. >> I need a yes. I'm going to the hospital or we are going to pick you up. You are going to be put in handcuffs and you are going to go to jail cuz I'm done. I'm so done dealing with this. You've got more options than anybody else. So, either hospital or we're picking you up and you're going to jail. Which one is it? >> Okay. >> Which one is it? >> Which one? >> I told you >> is it? >> Problem is, I barely got disorderly on her cuz she's not really being a problem. She's just drunk and they don't want anything done with her here. >> He don't even want to trespass. He just wants to go. He said he never wanted her back. No. >> Nope. Sit down. >> Sit down. >> For what? >> Don't stand up because you can't even sit. You can't even sit right. Are you going to the hospital or not? Yes or no? >> Well, you got this because she's been there. >> Are you going to the hospital? >> He's going to pick you up at THE DAMN HOSPITAL. WHAT? GET UP. I'M DONE. I'M DONE. >> NOPE. I'm so done with this. It's stupid. >> Come on. Roll over. Thank you. I'm done. I'm so done. >> Stop. >> She's going to jail. >> Nope. We tried. We tried for 20 minutes. Please, please. >> Yeah, she's going to jail. I've had enough. >> Logan County Jail. >> Okay. Can I call? >> No. Hell no. You ain't calling nobody. I tried that for the last 20 minutes. Come on. I JUST TOLD YOU. >> GET IN. >> CAN I PLEASE CALL TOMORROW? >> THIS IS RIDICULOUS. >> WELL, this is going to be a hard seat for her. >> NO. NO, THERE'S NOT. >> I GOT THE SLOWEST SEAT THERE IS. >> STOP. >> STOP. It's literally Can I literally call off >> it? No. No. >> No. >> Get up. >> No, >> bro. >> No. We've been talking to you. We've been trying to talk to you for like 20 minutes. >> Hey, what the did I tell you? What the should I tell you? Can I call you or what? >> England. I'm >> not home right now. Come on. >> Even when cuffed and detained, Marissa continued to resist. With every scream, her troubles only deepened, setting the stage for a chaotic ride to jail. >> Sit the down. I'm done. >> Yeah. I love you. You want me to grab her license? >> How is there a lawsuit? I just need you to quit. >> For the love of God, all you have to do is walk. >> Stop it. Come on. Ridiculous. >> You put that little I got to get I got to get >> Stop before you get yourself. >> I don't want you to bang your head. >> No, I didn't. >> No, you didn't. Yep. >> Damn it. Stop it. >> I want her to get cleared by an ambulance. You know what I mean? Cuz if SHE SITS THERE AND back to my cruiser, she's just hammered. I mean, >> I don't know how much she's drinking, but she got alcohol poisoning. >> Jay will figure that out and send her out if we have to. I mean, poisoning. >> I don't think it's That's not alcohol poisoning. That's just drunk. >> Okay, >> Marissa, I need you to get up. Okay. Cut my hand off, too. Come on. >> Come on, Marissa. Come on, Marissa. We tried. We tried with you. >> YEAH. YEAH. I TRIED WITH YOU, TOO. >> Come on, Marissa. >> One, two, three. >> Come on. You're going to hurt yourself, but I'm trying not to hurt your wrist. Come on. Please watch me. LORD. >> MARISSA, grow up. MARISSA, >> MARISSA. >> Come on. Marissa, >> Marissa, come on. >> Are you done throwing a [ __ ] >> STOP. >> We're just trying to get her in here without absolutely destroying her limbs. She's just CRYING CUZ SHE'S SHE HASN'T done anything other than just disorderly. So, we're trying not to >> take her. >> Oh, I'm taking her. Is >> she in cuffs? >> Yeah, she's in cuffs. We're just trying to drag. We're trying to get her IN HERE. SHE WON'T She's She's She's hefty. We can't get her in line. We're trying to pull her through. >> We've almost got her. >> She's not even all the way in. Marissa. >> Hey, grab her something. >> Marissa, stop it. >> I'll ease the door shut. Oh my god. We gave her every opportunity, every chance. She won't fit in that one. >> Nice and easy. Nice and easy. >> Marissa, lift your feet up. >> After investigations were concluded, Marissa was officially charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Marissa got what was coming to her. But next up, officers had to deal with an arrogant suspect who thought she could talk her way out of a DUI, only to be proven completely wrong. >> I would never crash and die. I'm just driving a vehicle. Just a beautiful black woman that you're harassing. >> My feet areing freezing. >> That's fine. You'll get you a new >> I'm going to jail. >> Oh yes, >> bro. You're trying to with me and you know I passed all your tests. Why are you doing this to me? >> On January the 14th, 2024, officers spotted an SUV screeching through downtown with its rear wheels locked, suspecting either impairment or a mechanical failure. But when they confronted the driver, they weren't ready to meet with the level of cockiness she had in store for them. So, the reason your car is doing that is because your rear uh wheel is locked. >> No, I'm locking it. >> Okay. Well, is your parking brake on? That could be part of it. Nope. Nope. Nope. We're not turning the car on right now. >> Can you help me? >> I need you to step out of the vehicle cuz I'm concerned that you were driving on the influence. >> I'm not under the influence. This is my friend's car and she was too drunk to drive. So, I'm driving. >> Uhhuh. So, I walked you walk out of 1785 here about 20 minutes ago. you. I've been I never went into cuz I lost my ID. >> Do you have your driver's license? >> No, but you can look it up. It's legal. I lost my in a bar here. >> So, you were in a bar here. >> I was in a bar here. I wasn't in there when you >> me walk over here to the side. >> What do you want me to do, sir? >> Can you twerk? I can go left cheek, right cheek. So, what I'd like you to do is follow my instructions and walk over here to the sidewalk. >> The officers suspected that the woman was intoxicated and began to question her. But what really grabbed their attention wasn't the excuses, but how she tried to flip the situation back on them. >> What's up, my good sir? >> Joel. It's Hebrew. >> How do you spell >> how you would normally spell it? >> Okay. Is there something? You don't have to give your name because you're in the pack. I'm confused. Is there something? >> You need to get out the road. >> Just get out the roadway, but you don't have to give them any information. >> What's your birthday? >> Go about your business. Your pedestrian. >> I'll give you Jay's information if we need to. But >> go mind your business. That's what you need to do. >> Okay. >> Waste of your time. >> I wish you would just help me. like a real servant of the law instead of trying to find a way to arrest me. >> Man, what I don't want you to do is crash. >> I would never crash in. I'm just driving a vehicle that I'm not used to driving. >> You don't get onto the sidewalk. You're going >> just get off the sidewalk. They want to with you cuz you're a black woman. >> Please get on the Thank you. >> These are We're not from downtown. I'm trying to tell her not to bother you. Can I tell? No, don't tell my cousin. >> So, listen. >> So, right now, she is clearly driving down the roadway with her parking brake on. Back brake still locked up. >> Okay. Her doing that is grinding the brakes down and possibly making a malfunction on the vehicle. There's a safety hazard. We with that action, we believe that she's possibly intoxicated. Okay. So, right now he is just going to run some Bill Friday test. Okay. Here's what I'd like you to do. >> I'd like you to watch my finger with your eyes and your eyes. >> Do you have any history of concussion? >> No. >> Anything wrong with your eyes? >> No. >> Just a beautiful black woman that you're harassing. >> The woman stalled the investigation with snarky remarks and ignored instructions. But once the field sobriety test began, her cocky confidence started to crack. Look at my finger. >> I'm looking at your finger, but you're not accepting that. Can somebody else do my sobriety test? >> You're going to count out loud. 1,001 >> 1,00 1,002 1, 103, 106 >> you know we counted by threes 1, 109,2,5,8,021,025,027,033,03 say >> cuz my feet areing freezing. >> That's fine. We'll get you into >> I'm going to jail. >> Oh yes. You are too drunk to jail. Do you agree with this? >> But do you think that >> you think that I'm too >> You are too drunk. >> If it wasn't already obvious, the sobriety test confirmed what the officers had suspected early on. This prompted them to act. Still, the woman chose to stay stubborn, insisting that she was in the right. Unfortunately for her, at this point, it no longer mattered. Y'all is a devil. I don't have any properties. All you see is all I have. >> This ragged tells us >> because I have 2-year-old twins that I'm hoping to be getting home to when you're doing this to me when I've done nothing but ask you for help because I didn't know how to work that car cuz it's my friend's car. You're grimy, bro. And if I >> So it's not your car. >> It's not my car. That's why I didn't know how to work it. I don't know about cars. >> He's being [ __ ] up and you know that. >> I got to read you this thing. Please listen carefully. >> I don't want to hear that. >> You think you can move it forward? >> Because the rear wheels are locked. >> Oh, are they? >> That's why we got >> She can move it forward till we get to a position. >> 39 central. Start dates in line for a vehicle that's got another car blocked in front of 1785. do that. >> The state of Georgia has conditioned your privilege to drive upon. >> You're so wrong, bro. I don't want to hear. Can y'all take me? I don't want to hear him. >> I don't want to hear him because he's [ __ ] up. >> Next in line. >> I'm want y'all to read it to me cuz he's just a power tripping [ __ ] right now. >> He's power tripping and being >> I'm not even drunk. I had two drinks. >> I passed the sobriety test. Why are you arresting me >> for DUI? How? When? I'm not drunk. I can take a breathalyzer and it will be under the legal rule. >> I'm one of God's people. So, you're going to like your karma's going to come when you >> It's okay. >> God is good as to me. >> I'm a Christian woman. Maybe I'll give you evidence of your child. test right now. >> I'm going to pray for your soul though cuz you're obviously tainted soul. There's so much crime in this city and the fact that you're wasting your time with me is why >> I'm not moving. Quit touching me. I don't want your Can you tell him to quit touching me? I don't want him to touch you. >> Lower your voice and listen to him. >> You cannot hear what he's saying. I just don't want him to touch me. I'm telling you, I don't want him to touch me. You tell him to quit touching me. >> I don't want him to touch me. I'm not going to do nothing. I'm not going to run. I'm standing. Just tell him that they done arrested me on DUI and I'm not even like >> Just tell him what's going on. >> I'm not talking to you. >> So, that's your refusal and we're going to go to jail. >> Okay. >> All right. We're going to this. >> I hope God will give you peace. Do you have anything on your feet? >> That was pretty easy. All right, >> can I have my shoes? >> Yeah, they're in the car. Turn around and sit down, please. >> Thank you. >> The woman repeatedly demanded a breathalyzer, brimming with confidence that she pass it with flying colors. But once they reached the station for further tests, the pressure began to show and her bravado started to crack. >> Sir, I want my shoes. >> I understand. >> I want my baby daddy. This is crazy. >> I understand. I understand. >> No, you know, because you weren't there. I passed the test like so many times and he kept with me. Why don't you guys pick up? >> I wasn't there. I don't know anything about >> I did everything. I walked. I did everything. >> I know you're doing the things I asked you to do. I appreciate that. >> I didn't do anything. I need help. This isn't fair. I'm not from Georgia. This lie with you. >> I I understand. >> Is it right? Can I take a breathalyzer? I'm not going to get I have kids. I'm not going to ruin my future for this. >> Mine is here. Hang on. >> My future. >> I know. I know. >> I'ming tech major. I won't be able to get a job after this. >> Bro, you're trying to with me and you know I passed all your tests. Why are you doing this to me? >> So, you want to take a breath test? Do you need to listen to this? >> I'm not human enough for y'all to talk to. Do you believe in God? I try not to talk about religion or politics at work >> because those are like those things that if you trigger somebody, they're like buzz word buzz. >> I like that. I'm not one for small talk. >> I understand. >> So, I'm one to like if we're not going to dive into the deep things, what the you talking about, you know? >> We're talking about like celebrity drama. >> I just typically just don't talk a lot. >> So, how do you feel about this new election? >> Like I said, I just don't talk. >> What? >> I'm really quiet. don't have an opinion on the election. >> Not at work. >> Only the people that are worth giving your opinion to. >> Just not at work. >> That's right. >> Okay, man. Last one. Come on over. >> Yes, sir. >> Same thing again. Really deep. It's okay. Don't worry. It's okay. Really deep breath in and long blow. >> Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. I lost your seal. It's okay. Take a second. Recover. Take a really deep breath in. >> Blow. Blow. Blow. Blow. We got to do like five times that much. >> Okay, come on. >> Really deep breath in. Fill your lungs with air. And then empty your lungs. >> The machine's revelations changed everything. She was now wavering between cooperation and defiance. She needed an excuse fast, even if it was going to sound ridiculous. >> We can set the whole thing up and you can try again if you want. >> We'll try again because like you're right now. >> Yeah. If you don't submit the sample in that time, >> I submitted the sample. >> It logs it as a refusal to submit a sample. >> No, it's not. It's not a refusal. Everybody here. Hey, y'all are witnesses. I would love to refuse that. That's my favorite thing I ever heard of is submitting a sample. That's everything in life that I've lived up to. The only thing I've ever really wanted to live up to was submitting this sample for you. Y'all are witness to me saying that. So, it's not refusal. >> You did not submit a sample on the second. >> I did submit. Can I do a sample again? So, so what I'm saying is I'd be happy I'll be happy to set the thing up and you can submit two more samples if you want. >> I'd love to submit two more samples, >> but it's totally optional and you can't trick us by pretending to and the machine will record whatever your efforts are. So, there's no reason to pretend. >> I'm not trying to trick you, sir. >> Your license is not going to be administratively suspended because you submitted a breath sample, right? >> Thank you so much for that. >> I'm just telling you there's no reason to pretend to want to submit a second sample if you don't want to. It's totally optional. >> We're good here and I'm done. But I will set it up for you again if you sincerely would like to try to submit two samples. Up to you. >> Sure. >> Okay. >> You said this first sample wasn't giving you what you needed, right? >> No, ma'am. The first sample is enough to convict you for DUI. >> Okay. >> But like I said, if if you want to try to submit two samples because >> So if you want to use the first sample, if you're >> I'm done. I've got all the evidence I need for this case. >> Go crazy. Go crazy, bro. >> But if you want to try to submit two consecutive samples, I'm happy to help you. >> I'm just trying to get home. I got to get to my kids before 8 a.m. So, whatever will get me >> through whatever you want me to go through and back to my kids, I'll do that. >> Well, no matter. >> So, just get me through whatever you want me to go through. So, I'm not agreeing with nothing because I don't agree. Nothing that's going to show me in just the one. >> I'm not going to live like he's not going to ruin my life over this title for the day. Why people think they have an option about going to jail or not? >> I don't know what all the stuff she was just talking about had to do with the fact that she is a.127 don't matter. >> She's awful. >> So [ __ ] I'm trying so hard in life. Bro, I've been I've been beat. I literally left my y'all. Damn, bro. God don't handle you, bro. >> Okay. >> Y'all are Bro, I'm just trying to be a good mom out here. Bas did anybody get hurt in it or is it just a DUI? >> Diends on the judge determines all of it. Yeah. The woman was arrested and charged with DUI. Moving on to a wild case where the suspect's brash attitude got him into far more trouble than he ever imagined. >> Why'd you drive on the side of her? >> Cuz she's an idiot. >> Because I came in. >> Don't don't stop. Stop existing. On August the 4th, 2024, officers responded to a woman's report that a man had followed her car and threatened her and her daughter. The officers got hold of the suspect and confronted him, but they quickly realized that they were dealing with an exceptionally cocky individual. >> Hey, what's up, man? How you doing? >> Your name is >> No, please stop. >> You can stay right over here. >> All right. Well, I got so many cops coming around. >> Two of us. Don't worry about it. >> All right. Stay right stand right there. I just need that some information. >> What's your last name? >> Bryson. >> Or my last name Gregory. >> What's your uh middle initial? >> D. I just got out. >> Okay. >> So um >> Well, she stated that you were following >> Okay. her >> closely. >> You're behind be behind her on her bumper >> and you drove to the side of her and stated that >> you'll be both her and her daughter. >> I didn't say that. >> You didn't say that. What did you say? Why? Why? Why' you drive on the side of her? >> Cuz she's an idiot. >> What do you mean she's an idiot? >> I came about to arrest him. Tension mounted as the suspect grew defensive, shifting his story and blaming the other driver to justify his actions. But the real shock came soon after when the officers uncovered what was really going on with his car and license. >> What makes you think that she's an idiot? >> Let me I'm driving this. I just bought this car. >> Why would you drive on the side of her? >> Cuz she's an idiot. >> You think I would just come turn myself in? >> What makes her an idiot? What do you mean? You think I drive on the side of her for no reason? Come on, bro. >> Either way, we both It's illegal. You still shouldn't do that. >> It's It might be illegal, but come on, bro. >> Why'd you do it? >> Cuz she's an idiot. >> What made you do it, though? >> She don't know how to drive. >> You think I would just come turn myself in? >> That does not That does not make you >> Okay, I'm That shouldn't cause you to do that. >> Come on. >> Even if you What was she doing? How How was she doing? >> I knew she was going to call the cops. That's why I came in. I just bought this car, bro. Come on, bro. >> Listen, man. You said you came down here. Why did you come down here? >> Why did I come down here? >> Yes. >> What do you mean why did I come down here? >> Why did you come down to Pure? >> Because it was in Pure. >> Because what was in Puria? >> What do you mean wasn't pure? >> You said because >> I bought the car out of pure. >> No. >> Why' you come here today right now? >> Because I called. Because I knew she was going to call the cops. Okay. >> Is that what you said? >> Cuz so I don't get arrested. I just got out, bro. Come on. >> Where'd you get out? >> Where'd you get out from? >> Battery on a cop. >> Yeah. And I don't have a license, so you guys are going to arrest me. >> You don't have a license? >> No. Okay. Come on, bro. >> You got any plates on your car? Hey, >> my wife. >> Relax. Have a seat on the curb >> because I can't even return on the curb. >> Take a seat. >> Stick your feet straight out in front of you. Cross them at the ankles. >> No, your foot ankles. >> Your foot. >> I'm not. >> So, you drove in front of her because she was an idiot. Was she Was she Was she driving too slow? What was it? >> Man, come on, bro. >> What was it? >> I've been to jail 100 times and you guys think I'm just going to come here to lie to you? No. >> But you also say to us that you didn't have a license. So, >> is your license revoked or suspended? What is it? >> It's revoked. >> It's revoked. Okay. So, you're driving a revoked license, which is >> I didn't say that. I didn't I never said that. >> Your license is revoked. You just pulled up revoked. >> Okay. You were driving this vehicle, right? >> No, I'm not. No, I'm not admitting to anything. >> Come on, man. >> What is there to admit? Who else drove this vehicle up here? >> I don't know. Come on, bro. >> Suspecting more than just reckless driving, the officer's patience was wearing thin. But the suspect's unhinged behavior quickly escalated things. turning the situation on its head in an instant. >> You have no other reason besides her driving stupid. >> That's all you have. >> I don't give a man. >> I can't believe I came up. >> What's his license? >> No license. >> No license. >> Yeah. >> You want to stand up for me? >> Is this Don't don't stand up for us. Stop. Stop resisting. >> We got it. >> Got him. >> Get your arm out of there, bro. You ain't going to win. There's four of us. >> Gary, can you get your No. Done. Okay. Gary, hold on to his arm. I'll start a rotation. >> Yeah, make them too. See if they can bring another rotation to the front of the station. >> Why you being stupid? >> Yeah. >> Come help you guys. Help us. >> Don't touch me. >> Pull your car around. Piss the master. Sit right here. We're going to put them in your car. >> Yep. >> This is my car right here. reach the other side. >> The drama wasn't over just yet, as the suspect's bad attitude landed him in more trouble. >> Why are you in my car? You guys don't even know my story. is all scratched up. My car is blowing. You guys are idiot. [ __ ] wants to throw at my car, but I'm the Let me out these cuffs cuz I'm about to smack the [ __ ] out every single one of y'all. Come on, bro. I know you understand. Let my mom come get you guys. That's got to be bleeding everywhere. Call an ambulance. >> Call an ambulance. >> What? >> You guys don't got I'ming bleeding everywhere. Are you [ __ ] What do you mean? For what? >> An idiot. What do you mean on the side of my head? I'm spitting blood out. What do you mean where? >> You guys are idiots. >> I don't see any blood anymore. My ass hurt. >> You think I'm going to come turn myself in? You guys are idiots, bro. >> Okay. >> I didn't think Pory was this bad. No, I need a name. I'm calling for one of the >> That's an old one, I think. >> Okay. And here's his phone. I think cash. No, cash is back in his pocket. His page. >> Okay. >> What do you need me to do? >> Um, >> um, I finished this. If you want to do the booking, >> do the booking. >> Are you writing them tickets, too? >> Yeah, I'm going to write him tickets, too. >> You've got a slew. So, after you when you start writing them, let me know and then we can go over make sure we got legal. >> I don't know. I didn't notice it. >> You didn't notice that? >> Mm-m. idiots. >> I get Oh, I thought Pur Police was better. >> The suspect was charged with improper use of registration/title, driving on a revoked license due to unpaid fees, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating without a certificate of title, disorderly conduct, and resisting a police officer. If you thought Marissa was cuckoo, wait till you see the next suspect, Alex. He lost the plot completely and thought he could bully the cops. >> What did I do? >> You pulled your pants down in the middle of the road, dude. >> Do you have nothing better than you do? >> No, I don't. Take your hands out of your pocket. >> No, you don't have nothing better. Okay. All right. Search. >> My job right now, you know what it is. To deal with people that can't handle liquor very well and to keep order on this street. And you pulling your pants down and exposing your butttocks to a whole bunch of people is not order. The cops had already stopped him one time earlier that night for literally showing his buttocks to everyone. Lifting his shirt up and saying, "Search up." Definitely doesn't help his case either. However, Alex changes strategies and starts verbally attacking the officers. >> Dude, you'reing just bored. Look at Look at my >> boring me right now. Okay, just >> no. >> You might as well just >> I'm not I'm not being a danger to society. >> What's your phone number? >> And what's your current? >> Am I right? >> You You have You have an issue. >> Listen, you're getting a ticket. Okay. >> You were aing loser in high school. >> Yep. I sure was. >> And now you're trying to make up for it. >> Yep. You're not helping yourself. >> What's your address? Current address. Do you live in town here? >> No. Even after the cops have warned Alex about the potential charges he could face for his behavior, he still continues to act very arrogantly. >> Just so you are aware, we are recording everything. So, >> okay, >> your behavior is documented and if you want to contest it because I've done nothing wrong. >> Yeah. But just understand that if you want to go to for a judge and contest it, they get to watch this whole >> I can drink. >> They get to watch this whole video and see how you're behaving. So, >> perfect. Mhm. >> Arrest me. >> I've done nothing. >> Search me. >> Don't need to search you. >> Come on, search me. >> Don't need to search you. >> Why not? >> It's not applicable to what we're doing. You're getting a ticket. >> Why is it not applicable then? Why am I getting a ticket if I'm being if I'm not being searched? What am I getting a ticket for? >> You're getting a ticket for public intoxication. >> No. And that's fine, too. I'll I'll pay the ticket. You think I give a I mean No, I don't. >> Okay. >> I mean, no. >> That's fine. >> You You're just You're just aing loser. >> That's fine. >> You're not going to get under my skin, dude. >> No, I No. And I'm not trying I'm not trying to get it. >> Really? I've literally been doing this job longer than you. I'm not really cool as like congre. You want a medal? Although Alex has acted very poorly throughout the interaction, the deputies still decide to let him off with nothing more than a warning. That was until they ran into him the next night, continuing to act completely crazy. >> Hey, are you seriously two nights in a row? You can't have this on your No. No. You're getting fighted again. Stop. Alex knows he's in deep trouble as it's the third time in 2 days that the cops have been after him. He decides to run. However, that doesn't really work as well as he thought it would. >> Resisting. I'm not resisting. >> Hand behind your back. >> Stop resisting. >> I'm not resisting. >> Don't fight. >> Holy. >> Stop fighting me, dude. >> I'm not fighting at all. Congratulations. You just turned an ordinance ticket into an arrest. >> I'm I'm not fighting at all. I have never met somebody make so many bad decisions. What have I done? What have I What did I do? Please tell me what I did. >> Now it was an open container. >> What did I do? >> And then you resisted. >> Not only did Alex carry an open bottle of alcohol in public, which is illegal in the state of Michigan. But he also decided to run from the police. A very poor choice that would land him a night in jail. Yeah, >> he go to jail. >> Okay, >> he caused issues last night, too. So, >> I can't trust that. He can be out here. >> What am I doing? >> Resisting arrest. >> I'm not talking about, >> dude. We're not even going to have this conversation. You ran from us. Do you really expect that? >> Have a seat. Watch your head. >> Yeah, I will. >> What the am I being arrested for? Seriously, what am I being here for? >> Just a second and I'm resisting and obstructing and then you arrest for a while. >> Cuz you ran from my partners and you fought with them. >> What did I run from them for? >> I don't know. I wasn't here. >> Exactly. What? This is some [ __ ] I'm 21 years ofing age. I >> Then why did you run? >> What do you mean? Because I wasn't getting arrested for anything. Ma'am, please. I'm I'm a smarting kid. I have done nothing wrong. >> In the end, Alex was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstructing an officer, and carrying an open container of alcohol in public. >> Coming up next is another cocky criminal, Devin Whitmir, who harassed and threatened the cops and thought that he could get away with it. >> So, if that's confirmed, then you will be taking you down to jail tonight. >> Okay. Well, can I can y'all back up so I can get my gun off? On the 13th of May 2023, a police officer ran into Whitmer, who had an outstanding warrant on him. The police had been looking for him for days after he had been causing trouble in a neighborhood in Asheville. As soon as Whitmer realizes that the officer is after him, he decides to try an unusual strategy to avoid being arrested. Is it Whitmer? >> What's that? Devin >> I got my man. >> Hold on. Do you recognize me? >> Yes, I do. Livingston, >> do you um >> do you have ID on you? >> Cuz I know you I know you have a twin. Did you talk to somebody over across from Leaguego? >> 1837. >> No. Do you have ID on you? >> No. >> No. >> Devin pretends to be his twin brother, Tevin, hoping the officer wouldn't notice. However, he wasn't that easy to fool. The officer quickly called more officers to the scene as he wanted to inspect Devon further. >> I'm right here. I'm looking for Deon. >> Can I Can I speak to y'all? Can I speak to y'all? Whoever Whoever y'all got in charge. >> Yeah, I have no problem with that. >> Okay, that's fine. That's fine. I'm sitting right here. >> I'm I'm right here. >> Sure. That's fine. I say as long as you're Kevin, man, you're cool. I'm I'm good with that. >> No, cuz I need your badge room at this point cuz you see that's the hospital put credentials. >> Yeah, I see that. I see that. Do you have any uh tattoos on your upper arm here? >> Yes, sir. >> What are they? >> 413. >> I'm sorry. >> 413. >> Okay. How about the other arm? >> I got new tattoos. I just told you. Show what's going on. >> So, see you've got Mon'nique right there. No, on this arm. >> It's a new one. >> Okay. >> Me and my twin have the same tattoos. >> Obviously, they don't have the exact same tattoos. The officers know they are on to him, so they keep pressuring. Do you have any tattoos that your brother doesn't have? >> We're twins. We get all our tattoos the same. >> Is there anything to identify you that's not Deon other than that >> wristband? Is there anything else that we can use? >> Yeah, I can I used to stay right here. >> It doesn't help me with my name on it. >> What uh what other tattoos do you have on your >> me? I have I have a lot of tattoos. I have Philippian 413 on my chest. >> What else do you have on your arm? >> John 316 like my up there. >> Why are y'all questioning the top? I want somebody to come out here. >> In an attempt to stall, Devin asks for the supervisor. At this point, he already knows he's most likely going to get caught. >> Do you have any tattoos on this? >> I'm not answering no more questions. What's going on? You're not telling me what's going on. >> Well, right now, we think that you were possibly the guy that has. Okay. >> Well, I'm telling >> That's why we're trying to determine that you're not. >> That's why I'm telling you. That's why I'm trying to use your tattoos >> because you both have files >> and you both have tattoos listed on your files. >> But that's what I'm saying. I ain't doing >> Yeah. John 3:16 over there. >> Answering no more questions. I'm What's up? >> All right. So, here's what's up. >> So, they're confirming it right now, but based on your tattoos, we know who you are and you do have an open warrant for your arrest. So, if that's confirmed, then you will be taking you down to jail tonight. >> Okay. Well, can I can y'all back up so I can get my gun off? >> Where's your gun at? Don't worry about my phone. Stay back there. >> He just said he had a gun. >> We can [ __ ] >> Not only has Devon just been exposed for blatantly lying to the police, but he has also spat on them. As it turns out, this would only be the beginning of his chaotic arrest. Down. Down. DOWN. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Why is y'all doing that [ __ ] >> It's okay, babe. I got >> Put your hands behind your back. >> 319. >> You didn't do nothing. That's why I'm telling you ain't got one. >> Well, you just said you HAD ONE. >> NO, [ __ ] I didn't. >> Although it looks like the officers have it all under control, Devon isn't done yet. He has more tricks up his sleeve. >> JUST TALKING TO HIM LIKE HIM. >> NO, NO, NO. Y'all about to give me that [ __ ] word. >> Relax. Relax. >> That didn't stop. That didn't stop. to do that. I can't move. I can't move. I can't move. Get your hand. It don't take all to do that. >> After kicking and spitting on the officers numerous times, Devon was finally under control and in police custody. In the end, he was charged with multiple counts of assault, including assault on a government official, inflicting serious injury.
