Then they hit on me and put my hair. >> We're not that color. Okay, you have to stop. 17-year-old. >> And I told my mom, you know, I just hope that she would go to the grave cuz it's just it's been a lot. My mom has us like since we were little. They were just all like this literally. Are you okay with that? >> Yeah, I'll go with you. On January 5th, 2024, officers responded to a residence following a report of a woman claiming her younger sister started a fight and acted aggressively toward her after their mother kicked the older sisters out of the house. >> What's going on? >> My little sister, she just put her hands on me. I didn't touch her at all. >> Where's your little sister at? >> She's inside. She started swinging on me and my other sister. I didn't touch her cuz I'm not trying to go to jail. I did not touch her at all. She took her hands on me. They stole my car. >> I need you guys to hang out with here. Ma'am, we're going to have to put you in handcuffs if you don't listen. Just listen. >> They took our phone and everything. >> We're just trying to figure out what's going on. I'll have you hang out here with me. My partner's going to go inside and try and figure out what's going on. >> Okay. I need you guys to go over here. >> Walk with me with me. >> She's a liar. >> We're talking about Can you step outside, too? >> Give my phone. >> I'm going to have to put you in OUR >> We can do it. >> We can do it. >> Stop. Hey, Mom. I need you to back up. I need you to back up. >> I'm sorry. She's only 17. >> She's 17. >> I see her in her face. >> She hit me last. She hit me. She grabbed my hair first. >> Do not go back in the house. Just hang out. Everybody with you in a second. You need to relax. >> She's only 17. She really did get beat up by them. Literally, I >> She's 17. >> Yes. >> And they hit on me and put my head away. >> You need to You need to relax. You charging at them is not going to help anything. >> I was having her. The handcuffs can come off as easily as they went on, but you need to breathe. You need to try and relax and try and figure out what you need to do to calm down so that we can figure out what's going on. How old are you? >> 17. >> 17. Okay. All right. Come over here and we'll just have a seat on this curb right here. HEY, >> I JUST CALLED YOU. >> HEY, COME OUT HERE. >> HEY, OUTSIDE. Come out here. We all need to talk. Okay, everyone cool down. Stay outside. >> I'm not inside. Are you kidding me? I'm here. >> Get away from the vehicle and calm down. >> For what? I didn't do nothing. >> It doesn't matter. >> You said stay outside. I'm right here. >> We're not going to get a fair chance. We are We're not that color. Okay, you have to stop. >> Color doesn't matter. So, don't don't even think about that. A little >> aggressive. You need to stop. >> Just calm down. Please. >> I need both of you to breathe. >> All of you step away from the vehicle so we can talk and figure this out. Please. >> I'm not surprised that punch me in the face. You 17-year-old. >> So, yeah, she's going to jail. >> So, what officer listen? >> Yes. Give me a second. >> Sorry. >> All right. How are you guys related? >> She's our mom. >> That's unrelated. Mother, she gave birth to us. That's it. >> I'm just a friend. >> Just a friend. >> Yes. >> Friends, mom, sister. >> They're all They're sisters. Us three sisters. >> That's her mom. >> Mom. >> So, the reason you're in handcuffs right now is because of how you react. We're trying to make things calm down by you screaming and hollering at her and saying, "Try it isn't going to work." >> And she doesn't get handcuffs and she's doing that. >> She's going to get handcuffs if she doesn't chill out. >> My sister, the one that's smaller, >> the one leaning up against the car. >> Yes. Okay. >> She was no longer allowed in the house. >> Like, what do you mean by that? She's no longer allowed in the house. Does she live here with you? >> No, she stayed here for a second, but she's not on a lease. She has no right to actually be in this house. >> Okay. Whose house is it? >> My mother's. >> Is your mother the same mother as her? >> Yes, but she's of 18 and she doesn't belong in this house. She was on no lease or anything. She got her stuff put outside. She came and grabbed it. My older sister just got dropped off by my grandpa Danny. He's in that car, white one. She said she's going to grab her stuff, pack it up. So, that's what happened. She started telling me. She told my mom to go herself and so she can go spam on her grave. So I said the same exact thing back to her. We didn't get in no physical fight or anything. She's upstairs putting her stuff away. My mom called the cops. The cops on the phone the whole time. And then I guess Jocelyn, the older one, the bigger one, she called my sister. She said, "Come help me get my stuff." We said, "You can bring your stuff out to her, but she's not coming inside this house." I don't know if it was my mom or my or Joselyn, but they man I think it's Joselyn managed to get the door open. And then when they started barging in, she pushed me and so I pushed her back and so she grabbed my hair pulling me. I grabbed her hair back. I landed on the ground as soon as Johnson saw that I was pulling her hair or as soon as I let go of J's hair was on the ground. I got up. Join saw me. She started yelling at me and she started grabbing my hair and so I did the same thing back to her. >> I wish you fans of my grandbaby. You have no stop. >> You want to go in handcuffs, too? >> Why would I go in handcuffs? I can speak. I can speak. I have the right to speak. >> That's a verb. >> I have the right to speak. >> You're being aggressive. So, >> but I told her she can't touch. >> I told you. Yeah, that's not a threat. >> It's aggressive. You have to I'm trying to tell >> it is aggressive and I can't put you and I will put you in handcuffs if you don't calm down. >> Really? You not see her over there. >> She always handcuffs. It's crazy. >> Everything. >> That woman has beat on us. She's a us everybody doesn't see what she does. >> Okay. Didn't I I talked to you earlier. Didn't I say to handle it civily? >> It doesn't work. >> Just clearly does not work. >> This happened that way. So, she threw all of our stuff outside. I've been at the hospital with my grandma all day long. She's had surgery. So, I'm coming into this. >> Obviously, this all started. I know how it started. She kicked you guys out of the house. Am I correct? >> Yes. Because >> we already Yes. So, we already talked to her. I told her that I had the on Wednesday. I texted her. I'm not text. I talked to her. It was a verbal conversation. And I told her, "If you want me to pay the rent, I can cuz I have the money." She told me directly, "Do not worry about it. Like, don't worry about it at all. Like, it's fine." So, I said, "Okay." And so today she's been threatening to kick us out telling us that we have to leave because we haven't paid rent. This is my first month here. She after she's already told me that I don't have to pay rent. >> Right. You guys been here 3 weeks, right? >> Yes. >> Okay. I remember >> since December 20 I've been here since December 24th. I get a call from Devon A saying that those two are laughing at her. I thought that was a cockroach. We're laughing at her from the window and stuff like that cuz they kicked her out. Threw all of her stuff outside. I just barely got here maybe 10 minutes ago. I simply asked I went upstairs and I started packing my stuff and I simply asked what is going on. After that happened, I went upstairs and everything. I was asking what's going on like why is all this happening cuz I'm just I'm coming into this or nothing. >> Were you aware that she kicked both of you out at this point? >> I was told that her stuff was out. I didn't assume that I was kicked out or anything like that. At first I did assume I was kicked out. >> Do you mind if we talk over here? >> Yes. I did assume that my stuff was, you know, put out until I went inside and then and I was like, I'm not understanding what's going on. Like why is this happening? I let my emotions get the best of me and I told my mom, you know, I just hope that she would go to the grave cuz it's just it's been a lot. >> So, you guys have just been grabbing each other's hair. >> No, De swung at me >> while I was on the ground in between the door. >> Swing at which one is that? Your sister? >> Devon is the youngest one. Those are both my sisters. >> I get that. This the >> smaller one was had my hair in my hand. I fell on the ground and she started swinging at me. And so when I got up, I pushed her away. Join grabbed onto my hair. She started swinging on me and so I started swinging at her back. We just kept on doing that. We land on the ground. I pulled Devon away from my mom because Devon I kicked Johnson away from my mom too cuz join was getting in my mom's face and Devon was getting in my mom's face. So I pulled her back and they all tried to get inside the house again. Okay, >> De said no. I pulled her back and my mom and her both landed on the ground. I was also on the ground and then join started coming at my mom and calling us oh baby. When De was the one that started throwing fist first or any touch, I kicked her back cuz I was like you're getting way too close to my mom. I kicked her back. I managed to get up and I got my mom up and we all got up. I was right by my mom and we were right by the door and then they shocked me in the face, the smaller one. She shocked me in the face and my mom grabbed a hold of me because if she didn't then I would have went right back at her because it's called self-defense and I will stand by my word. I was self-defense the whole entire time and that's what happened and we shut the door. We locked in and you guys came and we opened it again and she said to give her her phone. So I went outside, gave her her phone, she started talking [ __ ] I talked back and was still handing her phone. >> The reason you're in handcuffs is because we saw I watched you charge at her >> with the phone outside in my hand in front of me. We don't We don't know what your intentions are. That's That's what you're saying. You're sitting there screaming, cussing at her, saying, "Come >> cussing at me, too." >> But she's backing up. You weren't. You were charging >> cuz I was handing her phone and they weren't letting her buy. So, I said, "Come and get it." >> Like I said, the cuffs as soon as we feel comfortable with taking you out of the house handcuffs, they come off as easy as they went on. So, you're saying your sister was here to pick up some stuff. Your mom had set it outside. Your older sister had told her to come inside and grab some other things. And then once she came inside, she started fighting. >> De was staying here for a little bit. We took >> Devon is the smaller one, right? us. And as soon as we opened the door, Dom, they started charging and we all pushed back and started hitting on me. >> Why did she start grabbing your hair? >> Because we were pushing her back and I pushed her back and as soon as she saw that I was the one pushing her back, too. She grabbed my hair. I managed to fall on the ground and she started hitting me and so I did the same exact thing. >> Do you have any injuries, any marks anywhere? >> I don't know. I haven't looked in the mirror. >> Okay. >> I'm pretty sure I have hair loss and probably a few bruises on my face. >> Okay. >> My mom has us like since we were little >> for real. Like she has put her hands on me, hit me with every little thing. She I have been the one to deal with since I was 9 years old. Like I left the house when I was 16 cuz my mom was beating on me like every single day. She does still in the garage. She sells them to my uncle. I was grabbing all my stuff and then Kamora started with just her verbal just trying to taunt me and telling me that I was a failure. Just saying all stuff about me just to taunt me. And I'm saying, "Please get away from me." Cuz she kept coming at me. I cannot hit you. You're 17 years old. I'm 24. I'm going to go to jail. I asked Devon, "Can you please come cuz my puppy's in there? Can you please come just come with my dog?" Devon started knocking on the door. Got into just a heated argument and we were going back and forth at each other. We come down the stairs. My mom was trying to block me from going outside and I kept telling her, "Let me come outside. Let me come outside. Devon's just here. She's not going to come outside. Devon's here to just help me get all my stuff and she just wouldn't let me leave." So, I finally I pinned her to the floor because I cannot hit you. I'm not I refused to go to jail. I don't want to go to jail. I've never been in trouble. So, that's basically how happened. Phones are starting to get thrown. been trying to push everyone off of each other. My mom likes to get in the middle. So, punches were thrown and I don't know if she got hit or not because she was in the middle. >> Talk about mom. >> Yes, Melody. >> Okay. >> Melody, she kicked my she's very confrontational. Extremely confrontational. And she resorts to violence and so she just started swinging as soon as words got they start saying stuff back and forth to each other. And so that's how that happened. >> How many times did she hit Devon and you? >> She hit me twice. She pulled my hair, but it was happening so fast. I don't really know how many hits were hit at me. Honestly, trying to pull both of them off of Devon. >> Do you have any marks on your body? >> I don't think so. I got a scratch on my leg, but no, I don't. I don't have nothing on me cuz I'm completely covered. But my shirt got completely ripped. Am I able to just go in there and just get my stuff so I can just leave? >> No. We're going to have to figure this out. It's going to take a second. She kind of gave you a story, so I will come talk to you in a little bit. All right. >> Where did she hit you on your face? >> Everywhere. >> Is she 18? >> She's 19. >> 19. Okay. Is it okay if I just take a look? We got some red marks on your left cheek. If I take you out of handcuffs, are you going to be cool? >> Yes. >> Okay. You live here? >> Yes. >> Okay. But your sister Devon A, she doesn't. >> How long ago did she live here? >> She hasn't been here for a couple years. She got her own place and so she stayed here for maybe like a week or so. So, she's causing issues for us. She wasn't listening to rules in the house. She's bringing over whoever she wants and she was even bringing over them. We said enough is enough. So, we grabbed her stuff. We put it outside. She came and grabbed it. She had no problem. Justin came in. She's grabbing her stuff and then as soon as she open that door broke loose. >> Okay. Who were all throwing punches? Just you and your sister? >> Yeah. And older one. I'm >> your older sister. >> Yeah. I'm pretty sure she threw one punch. I can't verify that, but for sure Devon did throw a punch. >> But Devon was mainly punching you. >> Correct. I was on the ground a lot and my hair was getting pulled. So I might hit down. So I don't know if she ever touched my mom, but I do know. >> How long ago did this happen? 5 minutes before we show >> because when you guys got here, we had just locked the door and I saw my sister coming around and I guess she's meeting you guys, my older sister. But I thought she was going to come and break the garage door or something to get inside cuz they started slamming on the door too. >> Mhm. >> Like when you guys got here, it was maybe like less than a minute or maybe. >> Can you look over there for me for just a second? I'm just going to take a picture of your cheek right there where it's red. >> Melody, right? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, what happened today? I knew it from a previous call today that you were kicking them out. >> Right. And I had we took pictures of the stuff that was set. We bagged it up perfectly. She told me she wanted her stuff. So, we put it out here so that she didn't have to come in. When you say she, please give me a nice 20-year-old. We did take pictures. I even covered it with the told her it was here ready for her. She shut my phone service off. She came. She got her stuff. She left. >> Okay. >> Justin came home. I told her she had just moved here from Dallas. I told her, "You got 30 days, Grace, to start your employment. Whatever you do after that, cuz they both told me that we wouldn't have rent." >> Okay. >> Then she let Devon in the door. As soon as she let Devon in the door, I told her she's not allowed in my house. Both of them attacked me and my 17-year-old. >> So, why did they attack you? >> Basically, they just came in attacking us. I was on the phone with 911 the entire time. >> I know the call came out as they were yelling for >> I needed help because I couldn't restrain them all. In fact, they were all over me. My hair's over there. They I mean I ended up on my back on the ground with them on top of me. >> Do you have any marks, bruises or anything? >> No. I haven't even had a chance to evaluate. >> Do you hurt need medical anything? >> No. Not that I know of. They were just all like this literally. >> Who's the third friend? She involved at all. >> Was she just in the car? >> Yep. Oh, she wasn't me. I don't know where she was at the time. She wasn't here at all. I think she was driving up, actually. So, >> okay. So, she just came second. >> Yes, sir. And my 17-year-old, she she was yelling at them because literally they attacked her in this doorway right here. And I literally was on the phone with my one the entire time. I was relaying it. They had me on my back, everything. I mean, I was still talking to Wait. >> Did they break anything? >> Oh, I literally got it was open already. This thing being adjusted outwards and this is how it ended up. It doesn't seem like anything really is broken. >> Do you know where she hit you specifically? >> For sure. She hit me dead in the face because that was the >> Did she hit you like on the side? Does that kind of feel accurate to where that would have been >> when I was on the ground? Yeah. She kind of hit me on the side, but when she hit me dead in the face when I was looking directly at her, it was right in the middle of my face. She stopped me one time and that was when my mom grabbed a hold of me and started pulling me inside. Okay. >> And they were both outside. So that's when we met and she was like, my mom was holding on to me. I was like, "You better let me go right now." She's like, "No, lock the door and shut it." And that's what we did when you guys got here. >> What kind of things was she saying when she was trying to get into the house? >> What are you talking about? My >> other sister Devon, she really didn't say anything. She join was the one that was yelling the whole time. She was like, "Let her come inside and grab my stuff." And my mom and me were like, "She's not coming inside. She's not allowed inside of our house." And as soon as Josyn or my mom or the door got opened, as soon as that door got open, then they pushed through and we all said, "Get out." >> Was it just Devon A that was pushing through? >> Devon was pushing through and Jos was trying to allow her to get through cuz Jos was already inside the house. Can you stop if my knees bleeding please? >> We're going to have medical pull up in a second and they'll come and check that out. But you, Jocelyn, and Devon are all like blood related sisters. >> Okay. So, what kind of words were >> she told me to >> So, Joselyn, my 24-year-old told me she can't wait for me to she's going to spit on my grave. How I can't touch her her my grandbaby that's on the way with my 20-year-old Devon. Basically, Devon told me to That's all they've been saying. You know, I'm I'm the mom that them daily supposedly and and yet they both came to live with me to help them out. >> Closed fist, open fist, >> closed >> where they hit you on my head. >> No injuries, no markings. >> No, but I feel you. >> You mind if I look real quick? >> I don't mind at all. >> And I don't really see much. Okay. But swinging closed fist to the face. >> Mostly my daughter got hit. Okay. >> She literally was defending me. >> Where was your daughter when this happened? >> Right here at the door with me. Oh, so you guys were both >> We were all walking down the stairs and we picked off from the upstairs coming down and I was like, "No, you can't let her in." We all met at the door together. >> Did you swing back? >> No, never. I literally was in the middle with the phone trying to get I was literally telling her, "Please help me." The whole thing is on recording. I'm sure of that. >> Who's this, by the way? >> Oh, this is my stepdad. He has stage for that, but he brought Jos into the home. I'm going to tell you that there's probably a chance that there has happened, but I >> Fair enough. I'm trying to figure it out. >> Yep. No doubt. >> Thank you. Whenever it comes to questioning with juvenile stuff, we need them. Pray present. I didn't know if you I didn't know you were 17 at the time. So, the reason you're in hiccups, did you talk to her already? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Do you need medical attention? I don't know if he's asked you already. >> I don't know, but can you check I just needed them to check my knee? >> She wanted us to check her knee, see if she's bleeding. I just told her. >> Do you mind if I do? >> If you if you can, that'd be great. >> Can I get her? Is there any way I can somebody could follow me in to get her? It's okay. >> If you want to grab a jacket, I mean, are you okay with that? >> Yeah, I'll go with you. I'll go with you. Be right back. Okay. >> Did you uh tell Devon specifically face to face that she was not allowed in the residence and she she crossed inside the dwelling? >> Yes. Please understand these are all my kids whether they love me or not. So I'm not telling that to put her in jail or anything. I do want something head around her putting her hands on on us. But >> I don't know what I'm trying to tell you. I never know what to say to you guys. But >> Well, it's okay. Just relax. I I will figure it out. Did you hit Joselyn first? >> No. I pushed everyone outside with my mom while they were trying to get inside. I pushed everyone out and then Devon grabbed me by my hair and she started pulling me and then when Jocelyn saw that she started grabbing me. >> So what happened? >> I called you guys earlier when my stuff was sitting outside. >> That was the one who answered. Yes, Emma. >> You were the one that answered. I had called. There was like some stuff missing and then I had also came to get her Dawson's things. So I called you guys to see if you guys could help me get in and get those things. I said it was a simple matter. So, I grabbed what I could. All my friends in the Jeep and we left and went to this Maverick up here on Snow Canyon. And then my sister called me and told me that she's here and asked me to come pick up her dog. So, I pulled up, parked my car, went to the front door, knocked on the front door. Somebody opened the door. They were all three at the door, so I'm not quite sure who opened the door exactly. My two sisters and my mother. >> Okay. >> I stepped inside the door to come in and grab the dog. And then at one point I was thrown to the ground. And so I got back up. I think I grabbed somebody's hair and then my hair was grabbed. I'm not exactly sure what happened after that, but at one point I was punched in the face, kicked in the stomach, thrown to the ground again. So I got up. That was all by my little sister. So I got up and I punched her in the face in defense. I ain't even going to lie about that. That's when somebody showed up. You guys showed up. >> I showed up. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Is there anything else you would like to tell? >> And my phone was thrown inside. >> Do you live here? >> I did 2 hours ago. So I do have some specific questions I need to ask you. Okay. >> Yeah. >> So before I do there, I do have to read you your Miranda rights. Okay. Do you understand your rights? >> Yes. >> Having these rights in mind, will you answer my questions? >> Yes. >> So you called me 2 hours ago, right? >> 2 3 hours ago. Yeah. >> And you were notified that you were not allowed out the house. Like you were kicked out of the house. >> I was not notified that I was not allowed at the house. I have the messages if I can see my phone now. But I was messaged by my little sister. It said, "Your storage items have been left outside upon your request or something." I didn't request for that because I didn't know I was being kicked out of the house. And then laughing emojis. So, I came and picked up my stuff. >> Did your mom tell you that you were not allowed back in the house? >> She did not. >> Cuz she's telling me something different. I'm just kind of curious why she would tell me something different. >> She's been charged on me twice and she's definitely a liar. >> I don't have to lie about it. If she told me that, I didn't hear it's not on messages and we've been talking on messages all day, >> you know. believe it or not, like I understand everyone nowadays likes text messages. If it's in person, it means something as well too, >> which is fine. She obviously didn't say anything for but I again I haven't seen her all day. >> Okay. >> I was at the phone store when it all first started again on text messages. We haven't been on the phone at all and I didn't see her until 30 minutes ago when the fight started. >> So why did you call me 2 hours ago and just tell me that you were kicked out of the house? Like that was like the point of the conversation. All of my stuff was under that tarp by the house. And there were items that I thought were missing. It was an iPad, but it was in my the other cart. And so I just wanted to make sure all my things were out. >> So why didn't you go in there and get it then? >> I was kicked out of the house. >> Okay. >> That's why I called you. >> Got you. So did you obviously you told me you hit? >> Only in defense. I didn't throw the first hit. I didn't grab nobody's hair. >> How far did you get into the house? >> Literally by that small window. Like I stepped inside of the screen door and was shoved out by Kamura and my mom. >> Okay. and they shoved out and that's when all the scuffling happened. Yes. >> So with everything like totality of the circumstances, what I've heard from all the stories, right? I'm just going to let you know now you're under arrest. Okay. So it's going to be for residential burg and a child. Okay. >> Me >> residential burglary means when you enter someone's house unlawfully and committed a theft or an assault, >> but I didn't. >> You were informed to get kicked out of the house. >> But I was I have messages. >> You're okay. Just relax. >> Just relax. >> Place your hands behind your back. It's suffering. The woman was charged with burglary of a dwelling and intentional
