On October 31st, 2024, a traffic stop in Bloomington, Illinois escalated when a passenger refused to follow police orders. The incident began after officers pulled over a white Ford Explorer for running a red light and erratic driving. Here are the events that occurred. >> Okay. >> Is that something we can do? I got you. That could be a Paul John, maybe. It'll be a Smith & Wesson Equalizer 9 mm. Therefore >> Both individuals were transported to the McLean County Jail and later released with citations. The driver was cited for driving on a suspended license, disregarding a red light, and improper lane usage. While the passenger received citations for resisting a peace officer and improper transportation of cannabis. Both were issued a summons for a later court date.
