Can you remember and step out here for me, please? >> Huh? >> Yes, sir. Step out. >> Hey, quit raing. What are you doing? What are YOU DOING? GO NOWHERE. STOP. STOP THE CAR. STOP THE CAR. I'M GOING TO CROSS FIRE. DON'T MOVE. DON'T MOVE. DON'T MOVE. Don't move. >> I'm a Canadian ambulance. >> A routine traffic stop is supposed to be a quick and precise moment where drivers get booked for breaking traffic laws. But what happens when a seemingly simple stomp turns into a deadly one-on-one? >> You want to come over here and just take a seat right here? >> No, I want to. >> Okay, stop. Come here. Get off the bike. Sit down. Don't reach for about that. Just have to step it up. >> Stop it. Here are mindblowing moments when a simple and quick routine traffic stop turns into a deadly one-on-one. Starting with Jamal Wii, whose erratic behavior turned an otherwise simple traffic stop into a game of fastest trigger finger. >> I have a and I'm I'm armed. I'll let you know. So why did you pull me over? >> Why are you trying to kill me? >> I'm not trying to kill. You are. I'm already I don't give a damn. You reach >> $800 expired. >> On April the 23rd, 2025, at approximately 6:35 p.m., an officer from the Fair Oaks District Station pulled over a 1995 Toyota Corolla for an expired inspection sticker. The driver was identified as Jamal Wii. There was supposed to be a routine stop and a simple citation, but the moment Jamal rolled down his window quickly became obvious that he was ready for war. Jesus Christ 800 traffic stop area 810 12 914 Fair Lake Parkway 426 That was a heck of a stop, sir. >> I have and I'm I'm armed. I'll let you know. So, why did you pull me over? >> Uh, your inspection sticker expired last uh call Joe Biden or call George B. >> Your driver's license. >> No, there's no I don't have a driving license. >> Why not? >> Go back, sit in the car, and leave. >> No, sir. >> No, >> it doesn't work that way. >> Okay, so go ahead. Do whatever you want to do. >> Can I get your name? No, >> no, >> no. You you people don't get a disability. Oh, I have kids and I have a lot of bull things. Why you treat me this way? >> Said Eddie said 80. >> Let me get a supervisor to my location, please. >> You dumb people. You majestic. >> I can't even go back to mying country because of you. I start in [ __ ] >> every time you come me. Every time. >> Do you have the uh registration to the vehicle? >> Nothing. Nothing. >> You got nothing? >> Nothing. >> All right. >> Yeah. >> And you don't want to give me your name, >> sir? Why? Look. Look. Hey, I'm I I when I was serving you with you liars, with you people with Americans, >> I served as well, sir. >> At this moment, it was clear that Jamal was completely unhinged. It was only a matter of time before his frustrations boiled over. And what mattered now was whether the cop was prepared for it. >> So you you brought me to the you people brought me to this goddamn country and I'm every single day and I have four children. And we hardly survive because you're a versus people. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Because I can't get a job. I can't get a disability. And and they took my license because I'm not able to pay the insurance. So why are you trying to kill me? >> I'm not trying to. >> You are. I'm already I don't give a damn. >> Armed refusing to give ID. >> Don't read for anything, dude. Don't you I'm telling you don't read. I'm telling you don't read. I don't care. >> I don't give a damn. >> Do anything. Don't do anything. >> Subject keeps reaching for his weapon. >> No, I'm not. I'm I'm not reaching restricted 1439. >> Sir, I stopped you for a lawful traffic stop. I I DON'T GIVE A DAMN. You lying. >> I'm not lying. >> No, you're lying. >> It's obviously right there. >> You are No, today's what I'm asking for white people. You lied for 25 years. >> Sorry, Bravo. Will you direct? >> You brought me to this country. I served with special forces. I lost my own brother. I lost my everything. I I have nothing. >> I'm sorry to hear that. >> No, you're sorry to hear that. No, no, don't don't play that. So, you don't have a registration to the vehicle? >> You know what? Listen, you're American. Okay. >> Yes. >> Yes. You are American. I give you my what do you call that? >> Take it. They took my driving license. >> They took it away. >> Yeah. For no reason. I have a hard time with core. >> I'll show you the paperwork. You won't believe what they say. >> They don't When I call them bull [ __ ] the system is broke. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Well, it sounds like you're going through a really rough time, >> man. I should have served with with Taliban better than you. Jamal was obviously an ex-serviceman and was bold enough to tell the officer that he was armed and didn't care how the officer felt about it. But what he didn't realize was that the situation was about to take a turn far beyond anything he could have imagined. >> So these are my partners here. They're coming up. I don't want you to get rattled, but it's because you were reaching for your weapon. >> No, no, I'm not, sir. Hey, >> I watched you do it. I'm not I don't give a damn. You >> bring as many people as you can. Okay. >> Go ahead. You're not listening. What I'm talking I am listening to you. I have four children. I have four children. Do not reach everybody. Slow down. >> Unit 1080. Slow it down. 241. >> Hey. So >> listen American. This is take it I take this with you. Okay. >> So now you want to give me that. Hey, don't you reach >> 800 Bravo fired. 800 Bravo is fired. >> Listen, listen, American. This is Take it. Take I take this with you. Okay. >> No, no, no. Hey, no. You reach. >> Hey. So, >> listen, American. This is Take it. Take I take this with you. Okay. >> So, now you want to give me that. Hey, don't you reach >> I take this with you. Okay. >> So now you want to >> No, no, no. Hey, don't you reach slow down. >> Unit slow down. 1441. >> Hey, listen. American this take me I take this with you. You reach 800 Bravo fired. >> 800 Bravo fired. >> 800 Bravo signal one. >> Unfortunately, one of the officers who was called for backup pulled his trigger multiple times on Jamal as he tried to reach for his firearm. What began as a routine traffic stop ended with Jamal never making it home. Jamal lost it pulling such a stunt that wild. Still, he was nothing compared to these two dumb adults who tried to flee a traffic stop and turned a routine encounter into a tense face off the officer did not see coming. >> Don't run away, Miss Buttercup. >> DON'T YOU GO NOWHERE. SON OF A STOP THE CAR. STOP THE CAR. I'M GOING TO YOU. >> I'm going to you. >> I got to get him out. Hit the unlock. Hit the unlock. On November the 2nd, 2022, at around 11 p.m. in Tennessee, officers on patrol pulled over two adults identified as Matt and Eric who were cruising at a high speed far above the regular speed limit on the highway. What started as a simple interrogation soon got very complicated, far beyond what the officers had anticipated. >> Hey. >> Oh, I'm sorry. >> Oh, it's all right. Good. How are you puppies? >> Hey, Sergeant Little Mer Police Department. All right, so a couple things going on here. You know the speed limit through Providence is 35, right? >> No, sir. I didn't know. >> Yeah, you're going a little faster there. You got a headlight out and your tags are all messed up. >> I just want to tag >> Oh, until it's paid. I got you. All right. You got your license, restoration insurance? >> I don't have that. >> Huh? >> I don't have that. >> You have an ID? Okay. That's all right. What's her name? >> Huh? >> Do what? >> Buttercup. >> Buttercup. Did you have any paperwork for the vehicle by chance? Yeah, I'll uh I'll get your information. You don't have anything with your name on it or anything like that? >> Are you finding it? >> Perfect. Oh, that's yours. Now, is your do you not have your license with you or is your license? Not It's not >> You don't have a license. >> Sir, do you have a valid license? >> Just have an ID. All right. Do what? >> You don't have a valid license where you can drive? >> No. All right. You at least have your ID on you. >> All right. Any paperwork for the vehicle? No sir. I don't have it on. >> There's Do you have anything like a where the sale bill of sale or anything with the information? >> I got it from Charlotte Auto. >> I got you. Just nothing with the vehicle information on it that you got whatsoever. >> Yeah. If it's like a It could be like a sale or anything or something that they gave you from the dealership. Did they not provide you with anything? >> Yes, they have, sir. I'm >> Oh, they did? Okay. >> Just all over the place. >> You just all over the place? I got you. All right. Do you have anybody that can drive this then? >> Um, I can sit right here and get the lights on. >> How long would it take them? >> Not long. >> Not long. >> No, sir. >> All right. Hang tight for me. I'll be right back with you. Okay. >> Just when the officers thought that they were following orders, Eric had his own sinister plans. And although it initially appeared like he was obeying the law, he wasn't. >> Don't run away, Miss Buttercup. >> All the way out. >> Yes. >> All right. So, you're >> I thought she was going to run out of the car on >> I got roll that window so she don't jump out that window. >> All right. Is that holding? I'm so >> How come you haven't gotten your license yet? It's just an ID. >> Okay, so this is going to be really easy one. Um, if you can get your license for the court date that I set, >> they can dismiss it just at a small cost. >> That's what they can do. Cuz what I'll have to do is sign you for not having a license. >> Yeah. I'm sorry. Can we sign off to the side? I just can't. >> You were good in the light. >> Oh, that's Yeah, I I'll get you out of the line. Okay. All right. So, real quick in the center. Is that like a damn >> um think maybe? >> Think maybe. Is it just like THC? >> Probably. >> Do what? >> It's really >> It's not hers. It's his. >> No, it's not. >> It's not his either, but someone leave it in the car. >> Yeah, he just called me a little while ago. He just got >> He what? >> He had just got it in my car. >> Okay. Is there anything else in there then? >> Nothing whatsoever. Since I seen that, I got to ask about it because Oh, no. >> It's That stuff's not legal yet. >> Yeah. >> Okay. As long as you're honest with me, I'm just going to take it for destruction. >> Not going to do anything with do anything as far as that cuz all it's going to be then is just traffic and uh driver without a license. Um how far away do you say your ride was? >> I'm actually in We literally just came down the highway. I came in one lane and then we just lost the stuff and we were just Oh, >> I'm so sorry to hear that. Um, you need to have some >> my >> Yeah. So, um, you have to be proof of insurance. >> No. >> No. >> I was with groups and stuff and trying to get that, but >> Gotcha. Okay. Technically, no license or interest. >> I'm not going to do that. You got somebody getting pretty quick. >> Yeah. And I I got them on the phone right now. >> You got them on the phone. >> What was his name again? >> I'm Mac. >> Eric. >> Yeah. She goes by Matt. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Gotcha. All right. So, I'm going to have him do a step out here, too. I'm going to make You want to um We'll get you dog, Buttercup, so she don't run away. >> Okay. >> Um you hold on to Buttercup and uh just make sure it's just a pin. That's it. Get you some paperwork. Um and then we'll get you right at you. Okay. >> That sound good? >> Yeah, that's okay. >> Okay. >> Are you guys able to wait right there for me? >> Okay. All right, Eric, can you give me a step out here for me, please? >> Huh? >> Yes, sir. Step out. >> Oh, is the seat belt broken? Step out here for me. >> Hey, quit reaching. Quit quit. >> Okay, you scare the crap out of me doing that. All right, don't reach for anything. All right. At the end of the long night, Eric was confirmed deceased. Despite every effort to save him, Eric was undoubtedly not so bright a guy. But even a guy as dumb as he was appeared smarter than Jeffrey Shyam, a motorcyclist who decided to become combative with an officer for no rational reason. Stop. Stop. Come here. Get off the bike. Sit down. >> Sit down, dude. >> Come here. >> I don't want to sit down or come here. Don't me. >> I'm not going to shoot you. Don't reach for [ __ ] [ __ ] How about that? Sit down, dude. We'll figure it out. >> I don't want to sit down. >> Stop it. >> On April the 17th, 2025, at about 7:00 p.m., on a busy road, an officer on patrol duty pulled over a motorcyclist who went by the name of Jeffrey Sheim Sterling for running a red light. It was supposed to be a quick interrogation, but there was something about him that didn't seem right. The plate is 26 box trot 7064. >> You okay? >> Yes. Police over. I'm just trying to stay safe. People have been listening to me all day, sir. >> What's that? People have been almost hitting me all day and that's why you >> want to come over here and just take a seat right here. >> No, I don't want to sit. >> Okay, just I'm telling you take a seat right here. Come here. >> I don't care if you're telling me what you're telling me to do. >> T6, I'll take a one. Sit down, dude. Stop. Stop. Come here. Get off the bike. Sit down. Sit down, dude. >> Come here. >> I don't want to sit down or come here. No. >> T6 is uncooperative. >> Come here, dude. Sit down. >> Don't get back on your bike. Don't get back on your bike. >> Sit down. >> All right, guys. >> Dude, you ran a red light. Just sit down and we'll figure it out. Okay. >> Sil, what's your name? >> What's your name? >> Here. I'll show you my ID. I'm here. I'm shoot. >> I'm not going to shoot you. Don't reach for How about that? Sit down, dude. We'll figure it out. >> I don't want to sit down. >> Okay, you're going to sit down. >> No, I don't want to sit down. >> You're being detained right now. You're not free to leave. You're not free to get back on your bike. You're going to sit down for me. >> I have a I have an ID. Can I get my ID? >> No, just sit down over here. >> I don't want to sit down over there. I don't have an ID and I want >> Sit down, dude. No, >> you ran the red light. You're pissing yourself. >> No, >> I don't want to sit down over there. >> For some reason, Jeffrey kept trying to play smart with the officer by disobeying every instruction. But as the night would progress, disobeying the cop would be the least crazy thing he was going to do. Jeffrey would turn out to be brave for all the wrong reasons. T6 up. Stop it. In the end, it was determined he passed away at the scene. Jeffrey was absolutely crazy for pulling such a mind-blowing stunt. Still, it was nothing compared to this driver who turned a traffic stop into a war zone. No. Bleed. Shut the leg. Shut the leg. So, I hope you get this guy right here. He has all lean back over. >> Huh? Lean back. >> Lean back. >> Just don't go out on us. >> On July the 13th, 2025, at about midday near Bluegrass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky, an officer by the name of Jude Ramilian pulled over a driver for not wearing a seatelt. Seconds later, he approached the driver calmly to get him booked and move on with his day. There's nothing complicated here. So the officer thought. Go ahead and put your hand on the steering wheel for me. Go ahead. Put your hand on the steering wheel for me. So go ahead and put your hand on the steering wheel. What's going on? Reason why you're not here seat belong. Huh? It was You got the driver's license. You roll down the back window. What's going on, bud? >> Good. Good. You got the driver's license on you, too. You're not wearing a seat belt. Do >> you have any ID on you? Where you have a soldier? What is Carp? Right at the AIRPORT 1054 legion on the vehicle for what they had on >> 10. Stand off subject. >> Just get back. GET BACK. JUST GET BACK. >> The unidentified driver suddenly pulled out a firearm and discharged it several times at the officer, forcing the officer to run for safety and call for a rescue team. But in those 10 seconds before help could arrive, it became clear that he would need more than running away to stay alive. >> Yeah. Yeah. Please do. What are you going to do? >> Lean on the leg. >> Yeah. >> Oh my god. Are you Oh my god. >> Here. You're not coming out. >> Here. Leg here. What do I do? What do I do? You know what? Tell me what to do. >> Oh my god. >> Is it time? By the way, did you get a description of what the male was wearing and what direction he >> towards the airport? Good. >> Is that the only place you were? >> Yes, I think so. >> On the Got one bullet. >> He is. We saw pulling out the wrong way. >> They almost too water. >> I just opened it. >> 91. >> Is that the guy in the black truck? >> He almost hit us, dude. I was like, what is this guy doing? >> Might have been 15 seconds earlier that he had knocked me right. >> Oh my god. >> Oh my god. >> Oh my god. It's not It's not good. It's I don't have it on here. I've got it on as tight as I can twist it, but I He needs another tourniquet. >> You have a belt belt. >> Yeah. >> Get up higher as high as you can. >> All right, dude. >> Pull your leg this way so they can get through. I'm sorry, man. >> Is that good? I don't know if I can or not. >> Over here. >> Hold it. >> Where's Where's Where is it? Right here. >> Down here. >> Did it go all the way through? >> I don't know. >> Yeah. Yeah. The situation continued to escalate as the good Samaritans trying to help him were running out of options and time was slipping fast. With every breath the officer took, he was slipping away to the grim reaper. It had now become clear that something else had to be done and done quickly to keep him alive. >> Would you like for me to do that? >> Yep. It might be easier for you. I'm just trying to stand behind him so he has something to lean up against. >> More. >> You okay? >> Stay with us. >> Stay with us. Stay with us. >> You're all right. >> Stay awake. on that sirens. >> You ready for more? Just stay with us. You want me to put it on your head a little bit? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Sorry, man. >> No, you're fine. >> What h What happened here anyway? >> The best you need. >> You all right? Yeah. What's your name? >> We're sorry about this. Who's that guy? >> The guy in a black truck that just about hit us out. Hey, stay with us. >> He's gone. You >> okay? Wait. Stay with me. >> Water on your head. >> You got it. >> Anybody got any more water in their vehicle? >> Where is See an ambulance coming. >> I heard him, but >> I'm sorry, man. >> You just tell me what to do. >> You okay? >> You ready for another drink? >> Look at me. >> You married? >> No. >> No. Got girlfriends. >> Any kids? >> Yes. >> Yeah. How many? Five times once in a >> How many kids you got? >> Huh? >> What's her name? >> Brienne. >> Brienne. >> Yeah. Where are you? Huh? In the leg. In the leg. >> One in the leg. >> What's your unit number? >> 304. >> 204. >> Number 304. >> You get the uh airport locked in. >> Yeah. >> The car. The truck went down late. There's a black Ford pickup. >> There's a newer Dodge. >> Was it Dodge? >> I don't know. He just about hit us. We had to swerve over like all units on B4. >> We need an ambulance like now. >> Ready for another drink. Talk to him. >> They're coming last. >> What was he trying to stop him for? Boss. my truck. He's a friend of mine asked for a ride and uh when the cop got behind me, he told me to run. I said, "I'm not going to run, man. We Wow." >> Yeah. >> Step back over here for Can you hold this? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Sorry, man. right there. >> Right. >> Yeah. >> Ready for another drink? >> I try to get somebody to get some more water up here. >> Do you have water? >> He needs water. >> Where did go in the car with Sing? >> He's walking with her. She was crying. >> You want on your head? >> Yeah. >> Uh, anybody got a napkin? W his face a little bit. >> He got a tourniquet on. >> Yeah, we got two. >> We got a >> as best as we could do. If you got something better than >> I got right here. >> You okay? >> So, >> so help you get >> Hey, this guy right here has all >> lean back a little bit. >> Huh? Lean back. >> Lean back. >> Just don't go out on us. >> Just when it seemed that all hope had faded, the unexpected rose through the darkness and reshaped the story. >> You want to go up a little bit more? You got it was in the in the booster talking. >> He can give you where you wanted at >> right. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Water. Water. I was terrified. >> You let me know if you need >> you. Okay. >> Yeah. >> I'm going to need everybody here. This is going to be a state trooper that's been he said he would pull the guy over for once. This guy over here in a blue shirt, I think it might have been his truck. And when he got behind him, the guy tells him to run and he's like, "No, I'm not running." So he gets out of the truck and the other guy steals his truck, I think. >> Yeah, but he knows everything. >> We tuck. I'm going to put him up. >> This is going to hurt on your leg. >> This guy's over here. release. >> Yep. >> How far back is he allowed to go? >> Can you go all the way down? >> He can lay all the way down. >> You pour it on your forehead. I need them at the airport. >> You want another shot? >> Oh, yes. >> You need more? >> Yeah. Let me pour it across your forehead. Go back. Okay. Cool you off a little bit. Pour it on your neck a little bit. >> Is that good? >> These guys out here soon. >> In the end, the officer was taken to a nearby hospital while the search for the driver was handed over to a specialized unit. Later that same day, the driver got into a standoff with police which he didn't survive. Just when we thought that we had seen all the craziest moments when a routine traffic stop turned into a deadly one-on-one, we have a driver whose poor decision-making turned a routine stop into a heated situation. >> Look, before you go reaching any or anything in the car? >> No, sir. Perfect. Get out the car. Come here. Get out the car. Turn around for him. Put your hands behind your back. >> All right. >> STOP. GET THE OFF. GET OUT. OH, YOU'RE a >> On September the 30th, 2025, just before dawn on the last day of the month, an officer pulled a driver identified as Nicholas for having his tail light out. But what the driver did next made the officer stay sharp, alert, and ready for what was about to come. driver. You can come on back here for me. Come on back here for me, please. YEAH. GET OUT. GET OUT AND COME ON BACK HERE. As the tension grew higher, the officer had no clue what Nicholas might be up to. But seeing the driver opening his car door, the officer stepped out with courage, hoping it would be safe out there with him. >> Hey, come on over here for me, man. >> My phone dropped. >> You Let's get over here. We ain't in the road. Police. The reason why I'm pulling you over, you got tail light out. >> It's not out. That just got tape on. >> You can't see that thing at all. >> My bad. If you pull it off, you can. It's on. >> What happened to it? It's just broke. >> Car wash did that, >> man. What car wash you go to? >> Uh with a little car wash like down on 74. I'm talking about >> What side? What side? 74 towards >> towards like airline or you talking about back towards like like >> St. Gabriel? >> No. close by like uh I think it is almost right there by Dutch Town by the school. >> The one across from Harvest. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay.
