On February 26th, 2025, police in New Jersey responded to a disturbance where a man was assaulting a woman and smashing the glass doors of a business. Here are the events that occurred. Following his arrest, he was processed and charged with multiple counts, including aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. And while a superior court judge initially granted a temporary release on his own recognizance, he remained in custody under security supervision due to his condition and was barred from being released without prior notification to the police department.
