it's a lot of stuff it's like $400 wor of stuff there's a 100 million different IDs of different people Social Security card in someone else's name a bunch of credit cards in other people's names all in your purse on May 22nd 2023 officers responded to a store following a report of a couple shoplifting $400 worth of tools hey it was total at $428 okay so they ex building they've been super in a couple days and we didn't know how how we were tools for work we and I sold all my tools to I lost my job two weeks ago and I sold all my tools and now where did you work uh before I myself on this with oh okay okay I had to sell all my tools pay for pay for my room cuz I'm from and stuck out but I start work Wednesday I just getting more hand to okay so then you lost that job so then you came here today to no I started a job Wednesday I lost one job I had okay yeah I lost my job I had to sell my tools and start I start back work Wednesday okay and then what happened today why am I here caught up okay so you were trying to steal those tools because you didn't have the money to buy them basically okay and all those tools you were hoping to use at your new job what where do you where you where are you working now where where's the new job you have all it's going to be a working for thish there climon Towers oh it's another job with this oh okay did did you get hir at like a something well I'm supposed to have mine so they could so they because I got another guy I got two more people with me and they're supposed to be able to use mine and why didn't you just tell them like hey man I don't have any tools I know I'm supposed to have them but I times are hard I lost my apartment we have a mobile Outreach team too sometimes they can help people get stuff yeah so and then can we get their number yeah I can give you guys their info and then uh do you are you two married dating like what's your guys' relationship you're together okay obviously it's a lot of stuff it's like $400 worth of stuff so you guys are going to be under arrest for theft so I was the one walking out with it put the stuff in the buy but you were both walking out with the stuff correct were then we catch you think about how a judge looks at it but when you go back and you're Cooperative like you are with me right now and you're like yeah you know made a mistake here's what happened then when a judge sees that I'm sure they look much more kindly mistak yeah I have you ever been uh arrested before appr tell you can too yeah I who in Washington what in Washington okay who's watching kid before that was when I lost him I to get him back for 3 years and I got him back oh got you this is not good and then so I got to search you so I'm just going to have you place the car right here yeah I'm going and wind your stand for me what school does he go to and you don't have any narcotics or anything on you I'm asking if you do you know if they find you add another charge and I don't want that to happen I think I do so it's I don't think I do cuz we're trying to get every opportunity you know you have I know that's why I'm trying to change Pockets I don't have nothing on me besides as long as you don't have anything on you you're fine I'm just letting you know cuz you know if they find it and on you process it's another charge that's a f it's only inside well we would notify the school that way they can know where to what to do if you have like an emergency contact or something what I do hey P can I put these in her purse you have any weapons or anything in your purse that I should know about that the jail can't have no drugs okay and now I got to check your bra line with bomb in my hand I just ask cuz they get mad at us and you can get additional charge you know you have narcotics in jail that's what I always ask people can um can we call um his old mom yeah we can call her she and your phone go ahead and have a seat and then we'll pull up your phone okay what is your son's name I stayed over like 5 hours what you because you're you're very hesitant about something we're trying to help you out okay now I just have one if we can do this then we can have somebody to found them M um at the truck stops that we stopped at and I was going to mail them back to that address I don't believe that I don't believe that you found credit cards and people's IDs and you're going to find Postage and you're going to mail them back you just you need literally take them into the post office hey I found this on the road you go I didn't know that and then here's the other thing where are all these from what is all this where are all these gift cards from I got them for um my brother and then what's that little baggie of white crystal substance you found in your bag oh so why didn't you tell me that because here's the thing if that would have gone to the jail you would have gotten another charge I didn't think I didn't think I had anything in there I didn't think I here's the thing you're telling me I didn't think I did oh I was going to do that and then all these things are stacking up against you that are proving you're wrong that's why you got to be honest with me and you got to say Hey listen I do have meth in my bag okay we'll log it and we'll destroy it but now I'm going to know my oh she said she didn't have it now I found meth in her bag I also found a bunch of different IDs as social security guard card credit cards do you think if I look this person up he'll say oh my wallet was Stillen I mean I don't know like I like I found those I found those at a stop that we stopped at I and in a fairy tale world and you're not lying to me that and you didn't try to use these people's credit cards no I didn't no I didn't you go to a police station you turn them in you go to a post office you turn them in you don't no reasonable person will keep a St I didn't know that we we just stack of credit cards and ID we just got back this morning and where are these from they're from um like I got those for my birthday people just sent you these for your birthday well yeah like a few of them but I've had those on my purse for a while okay me up Lean Back me up put your back on you're both going to the squal I got not very good example for your son you got set good examples for him I know I'm sorry you got to think about how these things are going to affect his life how stealing from a stealing stuff from a sword it's going to affect his life Health you know using meth I know it's probably hard to get off but with there's a million different ways they can try to get you off of it and help you they have resources here like that was my plan was to get clean you know like yeah well it's time to start establishing that plan and stop saying it and start doing it all right Amy so we've already got a hold of we'll get that all taken care of all right little less stress for you okay all righty and uh both of you just so you're aware you're both going to be trespassed from Home Depot for one year and then I think they trespass you from all the locations but that's with them but for Lacy py if you return to this store within the
