all right here's the deal Mr
cook you don't have a valid driver's
license yeah okay so with the vehicle
being in drive when we came up here okay
we can prove what's called operation
which means we know you were driving
without a driver license okay so
technically speaking you are under
arrest for the drugs and for that or for
the for the narcotics what we're going
to do the narcotics you've been real
cool with us what we're going to do is
we're going to destroy that okay uh
we're not going to
charge

all right here's the deal Mr
cook you don't have a valid driver's
license
yeah so with the vehicle being in drive
when we came up here okay we can prove
what's called operation which means we
know you were driving without a driver
license okay so technically speaking you
are under arrest for the drugs and for
that or for the for Narcotics what we're
going to do with the narcotics you've
been real cool with us what we're going
to do is we're going to destroy that
okay uh we're not we not going to charge
you with that but we are going to be
Towing your car all right I I I
understand this is where you're living
but the deal is you can't be D you can't
be driving you know what I'm saying so
we are going to give you a ticket for
driving with other driver's license and
we're going to to the car okay but other
than that after
everything all right make sense all
right all right go and turn around I'm
going to uncu you all right I got some
paperwork for you to
sign Mr cook when I un your left
handcuff put your left hand on top of
your head
okay
MH same thing with your
right okay sir you go put your hands
down so before we forget here's your ID
back all right so you get a traffic
citation and a criminal summons tonight
it's for drive a suspension no
operator's license and fictitious tags
since that tag comes back to a Saturn
has been well with over the 30 days of
Transport transfer it okay if you get it
transferred before your court date they
can just go ahead and get rid of that
charge kind of like a fix it charge um
you're going to copy the the uh ticket
here let me go over this other one you
got a lot of stuff in your vehicle a lot
of illegal drug paraphernalia pipes
straws burners spoons all that junk um
obviously that's all for your drug habit
it's legal you're not allowed to have it
so that's why I seized it um we did you
a solid with crack you're not being in
charge with a felony tonight this is
just miss forcee drug PA from La i'
waiter you probably been charge with it
before Small Potatoes okay um they're
both going to have the same court date
and it is mandatory that you appear in
person okay if you do not show up you'll
get warrants for your arrest for these
charges okay so make sure you get
yourself there it's this coming I'm
sorry not this coming but well yeah kind
of it's Monday not July 3rd next Monday
July 10th 9:00 a.m. in the morning at
375 South High Street that's Franken
County Municipal Court it'll be
courtroom 4C since there's a criminal
with this you'll go do it all 4C it
won't be a traffic court okay even
though it does happen the company and
traffic charge with it so everything
will be on Monday July 10th 9:00 a.m.
court for SE Frank County Community
Court you understand that do you know
where that is MHM okay just make sure
you get yourself there okay I'm going to
ask for two signatures one here and one
here it's not admitting guilt it's just
saying you understand what you're being
charged with and it carries a mandatory
for obligation okay you want to sign
right there for that X is on this one oh
no no
no on that red that faint red line by
the
X now if you would like to sign right
there by that X and I'll get you a copy
of the ticket and copy the summons we
have a fuel bottle get back to you then
you're good to go right hey one thing I
wanted to harp on real quick before we
hand it over to you you didn't show us
any proof of insurance okay that's no
problem all that means that when you go
to court you need to take your insurance
with you and and give it to the judge
and that that's fine okay all right
um yep if you so go and turn it over if
the court date for whatever reason
doesn't work for you I circled this
right here that's that's where you're
supposed to go and and a phone number is
right there too to accompan it okay so
if you need a call and do a new court
date that's fine just call and they'll
they might work with you okay my badge
number is up top if you ever need it for
something okay and then right here
personal appearance is required double
tap okay it just says the same thing
basically just make sure you get
yourself there okay is there insurance
on the car guessing not yeah there's
okay yeah we had to have an insurance on
it drive it off a
lot all righty I get your tag squared
away it just needs re-registered to that
beic okay because the Saturn is has it
been 30 days already yeah it's been a
while yeah yeah man look just change it
up dud you pay the 100 bucks you got to
and that charge goes away like yeah just
take care
of hey man get yourself clean yeah okay
you were clean for 4 years that's
[ __ ] awesome it was better than this
yeah I'm sorry you have rough times man
it's unfortunate we got to meet on these
terms right okay skch CLE good all right
all right do you have any questions no
sir you want us to drop you off anywhere
no I'm just going to walk down here to
the end of uh Terrace alley and hope my
cousin's in there
[Music]
