On March 6th, 2025, officers responded on reports of an assault. An onseen investigation revealed that an individual later identified as a 74year-old got into a verbal disagreement with the daughter of a hospitalized friend and then physically assaulted her by pulling her hair, biting her hand, and cracking her over the head with a telephone. Here is what occurred. [Music] unit is going to be outside. It's going to be outside. Hi 11. I'm going 20 here. Any unit that arrives there, please let me know. I do have a caller on the line. Both parties are there. The female by the head. All right. 111. Give me the air. I'm going 20 in the area. Where's the caller? I'm 20. All right. I'm being flagged down. What's going on? I walked in by there's some sort of name is hurting her. He's He's hurting her now. Broke it up. All right. All right. What's going on here? He attacked you? Yes. And they all were here. They saw when I dragged him outside cuz he's hurting my dog. All right. Step up here for me. All right, sir. What? All right. I'm out with both the parties. Just step up here for me. All right. Step over here. Okay. What's now? What's going on, man? He's my father's friend. He stays here to take care of my father who's in the hospital right now. Okay. I came down to him this morning and I said, "Can you do me a favor? When you go see dad today, bring him his clothes. I'm actually sick right now. That's fine. So I said, I'll pick up dad later. And with the car I go, but you because he was go he goes to see my father anyway. He lost his [ __ ] mind. One second. I'm just trying to hear one side of the story. He lost his mind that I'm screwing him over. I'm going to leave him. I'm going to abandon him. I go, what are you talking about? And there was no reasoning with him. He then just started attack me. He's got my my dog and squeezing the [ __ ] life out of my little dog. And wouldn't let her go cuz I said, "Look, you just leave then. Leave." He then started beating, broke our phone cuz I was trying to call 911, then was hitting me with the phone, punching me in the face. You You all right? Just step up here. Talk to my step. Wait, wait, wait. This is You live here, sir? No. No, but I mean this was just like so [ __ ] angry at me. I went What are you talking about? All I said was like I'm like I don't want to go in the hospital. Less contact with dad the better. Like he's getting out today. You're going to [ __ ] screw me over. What are you talking about? I'm not screwing you over. I was just getting dad's clothes. I'm like I'll get you in the car later. Pick you up. Didn't want to be around my dad. Hang on one second. Okay. Okay. So he started beating the crap out of me. She So he basically comes to take care of the the dog, but he stays here. The father's in the hospital. He also take care of the father. It's the father's friend. She said that um she was just telling him like to get out and everything like that cuz he's a little like off. He started squeezing the dog. So she tried to tell him to like get off the dog. She tried to push him. After that, that's when she threw the phone on the floor, broke it, started hit with and that's when she was holding him down. Okay. Let's Can we go inside and speak with you? Yeah. This was him. You said he stays here. Do you He does. Let Let's go inside. Let me speak to you. Father and sister. So, are they family to you? That's what I'm saying. They I'm not family. I'm a friend. I've been I've been having the father for about seven, eight years. I got the keys of that house. Yeah. Um So you have ide from the father. You you have Are you okay? You want me to back now? No, just just come here. This is after witnesses. Just grab their info, please. Um, probably going to be a 25, but I'm just in the interview. Okay. And then like I said, probably going to be the idea was Yeah, there you go. Yeah. Turn your hand. Turn it this way a little bit. Yeah, right there. A little cut down. Oh, yeah. Cuz he bit me. So, forgot about that fun fact. Ma'am, just really quick. So, your relationship with him, are you guys dating? Anything like that? Oh, good god, no. Okay. I know you said that he stays here. How long has he stayed here? For a long time. For years. So, this is one whole entire house, right? Yeah. I think the very top floor there's a tenant. Like, so our family occupies like three floors, but my dad and him stay down here. like they sleep down here cuz my dad really can't get up the stairs that well anymore. So like essentially you're cohabitating the same space. Yeah. I I actually have a separate apartment though and so I'm separate from from them. But he got it in his head that I was going to be screwing him over. I'm going to take the dog. I'm like what are you talking about? I'm like Sergio, all I wanted was for you to bring dad's clothes so that when I come and get you guys that he's ready and dressed, you know. I said cuz I don't want to be up in the room. I said because I got whatever my father had. I think, you know, my father went into the hospital cuz he was puking the night and it turned out he had such like pneumonia. So, they kept him there for a couple of days. But so, so just because I wasn't here from the beginning, um he when he started assaulting you, what exactly happened? He what did he say to me? He goes, "You, your sister, and your brother, you're all [ __ ] losers." And I'm like, "Where is this coming from?" Like, "What is wrong with you?" You know? And um mind you now, the past few days that he was visiting my father, my father threw him out both days. And I always thought my father, oh, you're being terrible to Sergio, but I'm like, he's probably doing [ __ ] like this to my father, too. I don't want him here anymore. And that's terrible because he was like a huge help. Like, that's that's understood. Yeah. How how was he assaulting? He first of all, I wanted to take the dog from him and that's what kind of really sent him over the [ __ ] edge and then he was squeezing the dog and I was like, "Please let go of the dog." I'm like, "You're hurting her." And like he was grabbing her by the [ __ ] trying to choke the dog. Okay. And um and that always scared me. like when he gets like psycho like he's going to hurt that dog, you know, and uh he then was starting to go after me and then thankfully Trixie got loose and she ran up here and that's like all I cared at. But then he really was going nuts when the dog got away and that's when he was like pulling my hair, bitting me, punching me in the head and um took the phone and smashed it, not realizing I could call you on my cell phone. And then I figured let me drag him out here cuz I'm like if he [ __ ] kills me in here, who's going to know? And then he'll kill the dog. You know what what phone did he break then? It's on the account. It's on It's like a hand towel the phone like you know the landline. Um guys are friends you guys and people on their father and I've been I've been I've known that for about 8 n years and I've been as well going shopping with him and I've been 95 years old. Okay.
