And then he smashed my phone. Did he pull you out of the car? Yeah, he did. Okay. How so? He literally grabbed me by my hoodie and ripped me out of the car and he's like, "You're going in the house with me." I said, "I'm not doing anything. I'm leaving." Okay. And then I finally got out and left. >> Where's your phone right now? Right here. My friend Lindsey's on there. He keeps calling but I'm not answering. >> he smashed your phone? Yeah. It's right here. And Lindsey was on the phone and it hung up. You're you're on with somebody there. Yeah, it's my friend Lindsey. I've been on the phone with her the whole time. Okay. I have to And guess who gets stuck cleaning it all? What's What's broken in the kitchen? Katie. >> He literally did all my dishes, all of that. I don't I don't know what you mean. Like all of this. This I had all this stuff all this stuff was thrown out. He took all food that was in the garbage. And I get stuck paying for it all. But did you say the dishes were broken? No, like he literally Just took dishes out of my dish washer. Just took them out and put them in a different spot. So it didn't look like I'm dirty or something. I'm going to go ahead and say that's not appropriate. That dog needs a bigger kennel. I was going to say something. Yeah, your dog needs a bigger crate there. Yeah, I know. He put him in there. I had him out a little while ago. I had him out. Crazy. Is this just Is this damaged or just knocked over? >> I think it's I don't know. Can I see? Can I see the tree? Thank you. I think they just go back together. Missing a leg. It's missing a leg. It doesn't stand up properly. It's missing two legs. Yeah. Well, there's a leg. >> One leg is here and then the other leg I saw is over there. All right. Everybody's fine. Everybody's fine. Everybody's okay. Except for the dog. Dog needs to be out. RIGHT HERE ON UM OR IS IT BP? IT USED TO BE VALERO'S? What is he doing there? Is he just hanging out there? Does he know that we're coming? But I seen you guys coming. I dropped him off there because he wouldn't get out of my car. Dropped him off there and then ran back to you guys once you guys know he WAS THERE. OKAY. ALL RIGHT. KATIE, while Officer Bernard does all the paperwork he needs to do with you, Officer Mack and I are going to go and see if we can't find him and talk to him, okay? Well, even if I do that, don't let him I don't KNOW WHAT YOU TELL HIM. DON'T come back here and just leave me alone and that will literally So one leg on this is broken. Her case has a little like skid mark on it. We're going to go find Wesley. You let us know what we're doing with him, okay? All right. I got to fill this out with you, okay? >> Okay. Yeah, sorry. I'm just cleaning up out here a little bit. You guys will probably arrest him, right? Well, he did damage property. Anything else that was damaged? Anything else? >> was literally it. Just needs to be >> which it has one broken leg on it so that is the plastic piece of the bottom is broken and then your >> completely? Just the bottom piece of the plastic that has one of the legs which means it doesn't stand up properly anymore. That is broken off and then your cell phone. Can I see that again, please? See. I mean it's the case. >> Did it Oh yeah, it did. [Music] Okay. This part is fine. But this is all normal. >> Oh yeah, no that wasn't. He didn't break my phone. It cracked through the case. I guess it's probably not a protective case is it? No. I mean if you guys could arrest him cuz then that would probably be the you know, best bet. OKAY. CAN YOU kind of describe what happened? You were like start from the beginning when you were you were here. Um Okay. So what had happened was I slept in my kids' room last night because he wouldn't leave. His cousin was here last night and he ended up leaving cuz he was you know, getting moody. So I just I was like, you know, can you go to Edwin's and his cousin even tried to get him to go over there. He wouldn't go over there. So I was just like, you know, I'm going to just go sleep in the room. So I went and slept in um my kids' room. Then this morning I get up and he's still starting here. So What you guys arguing about? He's bipolar. For no reason, I'm saying. Pretty much. And like his mom even said like he refuses you know, he refuses medications so I don't I don't know but I was like, can you leave, you know, and then he wouldn't leave. I was So he was like, you know, he got up, threw the tree, so then that's when I grabbed my kids and I left and then That's when you that's when you called, right? >> Yeah, that's when I called you. >> got up, he threw the tree? He literally got up, grabbed the tree by the bottom and slammed it on the ground not once but twice. After he picked it up and He literally slammed it. Okay. And then he left. I I WAS WAITING RIGHT DOWN BY THE DUMPSTER FOR YOU GUYS AND THEN I DIDN'T SEE YOU GUYS COMING. I CALLED HIM BACK AND I was like, you know, I'm going to go feed these kids and do what I had to do and then can you just have them meet me at the apartment when they're here? Positive. She has a broken phone. And so then you guys didn't come and then when I seen you guys down I seen it was like I was on Mill coming this way I knew you guys were coming here. Okay. And then I came back to get the stroller and that's when he threw the phone and she was on the phone. How did he throw it? He literally took my phone and just went like that. >> ground? >> Yeah. Like just She was literally on the phone. I hung her up cuz she tried calling me back twice. She's like, "What happened?" and I'm like, "HE THREW MY PHONE." AND SHE'S TRYING to call back, you know. >> So it didn't get dropped in a tussle. It he literally grabbed it and then threw it to the ground. Okay. All right, let's get this done so I can write this up cuz I'm going to have to go process him for the arrest, okay? Um See, he's like, "Where the are you?" HE'S CALLING. IS he texting you right Oh yeah, he keeps blowing my phone up and I'm not answering. Oh, that's him who's calling. >> Yeah. I'm not answering. We got eyes on him so What had happened when um you came back, he pulled you out of the car, he smashed your phone on the ground. What hap- what happened there? That was literally I finally got out and Did he walk away or did you drive away? >> in the car and left. Okay. You got back in the car and left. Yeah. And so he handed me my phone he handed me my phone and then I left. He handed you your phone? >> Yeah. After throwing it? >> Yeah. Cuz I was like, you hand me the phone or I'm calling the cops. I MEAN I I already called THEM REGARDLESS BUT YEAH. IS THAT WHY HE TOOK THE PHONE IN THE FIRST place you think cuz he thought you were going to call the cops? I just want to do what's best for my children, you know what I mean? Yeah. So Wesley Put your hands behind your back for me for a second. Hands behind your back, okay? Come on, guys. What? Come on, what? What did I do? I'm on with Katie. I what? I'm on with Katie. Let me have the phone. >> No, you doesn't get my phone, man. Not going to do it. Not going to do it. Put your hands behind your back. Stop resisting. >> Okay, I'm I'm not resisting. Where's the phone? I hear got it. >> Okay. thank you. No, he's got it. The other officer got it. Stop pulling away. I'm not pulling away. Yeah, you are. I'm pulling with my left hand. Why would I say it if you weren't doing it? >> Look, I'm pulling with my left hand. I'm not pulling away with my right hand. You got his phone? Okay. >> Yeah, he he's got my phone. I swear he do. He said he did. I had nothing else on me, officer. I'm still going to pat you down. Okay, you can. I don't have nothing on me. >> can. We're going to We're going to this one or the other one? This one, but I'm going to lock it around cuz I don't Okay, I'll hop over. But I don't want But I don't want to. Okay. All right. So, if you guys want to walk around we can. Come on, okay. I'll hop over. It's fine. Hi. We're going to be nice and chill about this, okay? When am I getting out? Cuz I have to work tomorrow. No, we're um So, what we have to do is process you. And then get you in front of a judge. So, there's cap court at the PSB every day. So, you're not going to jail. You're just going to hang out with us until you can see a judge. Okay? I got to call my probation officer. I understand that. Who's your PO? Officer Dan Connor. Okay. We can make arrangements for that to happen. Okay. Yep. [Music] Thank you. Possible d- Perfect. Uh what's your guys' relationship? We were together, but I ended that. Former intimate partners? Yeah. >> past, okay. When did you guys break up? Uh last night. Okay, that's probably Is that why I told you guys I was just telling my friend Lindsey I'm like I'm not happy, you know? I don't know if that's what really triggered him, BUT HE WAS LIKE HE'S MY POLAR. HIS MOM'S EVEN SAID THE SAME THING. OKAY. Do you guys have a child in common? We do, sadly. Just one or Just one. I plan on when I have the baby I plan on going to get custody of that. So Okay. I don't know if you can do it with your partner or not, but I'm not sure. Did he make you scared and fearful? A little bit? Does he have access Uh no, he does not. Uh I'd appreciate if you just did this first. Uh it's only two pages and then I can take pictures of your phone and the tree, okay? Can I plan on cleaning this up before I leave, so Okay. >> guys could just make sure he doesn't I'm sure he probably won't be back here, right? He's not going to be arrested? No, yeah, he's not going to be back at the moment. He needs to go see a judge now. Okay. So, I plan on cleaning this and then going to my friend's house. After we Yeah, I plan on cleaning all this mess up and then going to my friend's house. Okay. Did he make any threats to you? No. Did he uh strangle you at all? No, he did not. Did any of the kids see all this? No. Cuz when when I asked you out there Oh yeah, me and him out there They would have seen all that. We have to wait till Monday, right? Wait till For Monday for what? To see a judge? >> No. No, no, no. We have We have court here every single day. I have your phone, okay? He came and opened the door. He grabbed onto your shirt. Which one came first? Did he grab the phone? >> He grabbed the phone and then did the hoodie. What do you think his intentions were were taking you out of the car? Trying to get me in the house, at least. Okay. You said he just It came out of nowhere like he just woke up and he was angry. >> Yeah. He wasn't like that before? No. Okay. He got worse than I Or I mean And then when I went in for my ultrasound um I think it was early, but like I didn't They didn't You know, they seen like a little thing and I was kind of like stressing about that. So, I was kind of worried like, you know. So, now will he have to replace the tree and all of that or how does that work? We don't do anything financial. It's all criminal we do. So, you'd have to take him to civil court for that, which would end up costing way more for you. But yes. So, that's probably just a better to do it myself, probably. Yeah. All right, I'm asleep. I'll do the refrain. You want to refrain from? Okay. See, I don't want an order of protection. I want a refrain. Which he said What you said that >> Refrain from, it's still an order of protection. Order of protection is there's a refrain from and there's stay away. So, you want to refrain from order of protection. Yeah, like where he just can't do stuff. >> So, let me give you this and Cuz I don't want to do I don't want to do the order of protection, you know, because the baby comes forever. Okay. So, IF I GET THE REFRAIN TO WHERE HE CAN'T, you know, demolish my stuff and metal. And can you also make it known I don't want him calling me while he's in jail for a couple days? I need to not speak to him for a couple days. We We can't stop him from calling you. That's on you to block him. Okay. All right. >> Yeah, that's on it because you want to refrain from it's no crime for him to contact you. Okay. Yeah. And then which one of the children's do you guys have in common? No, no, the kids are his. I'm pregnant with his right now. Oh, I see. Yeah. Okay. How far along are you? They said eight weeks ago ultrasound. Eight weeks, okay. All right, I'm going to take off. I have a photo of that if you need that as well. No, I don't need proof of that. Um I'm going to take off. I have everything I need, okay? Okay, I really appreciate you. No problem, all right? All right. Try to Try to have a better day now, okay? There goes my plans for the day. Perfect. Yeah, I got court's not going to be till probably like 5:00. There goes me cashing my check today. Happy. I'm getting this dirt bike. Oh, you were going to get a dirt bike today? Yeah. And I got people I got to pay money to. Did she uh put a restraining order? Uh she wanted a refrain from. So She She You guys have a child on the way and she don't want to put a stay away to to uh hold your kids. >> So, I get to go back to her house? Yeah. All right. Yeah. I told her this is between you guys, but all she asked was um maybe you give it a a couple days. Seems a little heated right now. That That was her request, but you've been you've been living there, so Yeah, I've been living with her for over a year. We started living together in the summit when she lived in the summit. We moved from the summit to Mount Rainier East States. I was living with her there. Then we moved out to A Bay. I was living with her there. And now we just moved back to town. She She don't put me on none of her leases, though. But I've been living with her for over a year. It's not like you were charged with trespass or anything. It's just It's just damaging damaging stuff. Because it happened in front of the kids, we have to add the charges of um endangering. The court will do what they'll probably plead it down. But that's I don't know if they're going to. I'm just saying it. PO is going to be mad at me. He's going to put me in jail. Yeah, he definitely He's definitely going to lock me up. She said she was uh eight weeks pregnant with your kid? Yeah? Are you excited or Yeah, it's my first child. Okay. Congratulations. Thank you. I'm not a parent yet, but I'm trying right now, so Oh, good luck on that. Oh, it's like it's probably what you've heard. It's like what? It's exciting and scary at the same time. Yeah. I know when we were there Katie Katie's children were pretty wild. I was like, "Uh." Yeah. A lot of yelling and screaming going around right now, but kids being kids. I the court I don't think the court would have granted a stay away anyways, especially if you mentioned there's a kid on the way. They They usually don't like to keep parents away from their kids if they can help it. So, just a refrain from just a refrain from any crimes, though. Can't damage her property. Can't put hands on her. No threats. Those are usually the big three that are pretty common, so Yeah, I had a lot of people texting my phone. You want me to look for you real quick? There's Arturo. That's my uncle. What ethnicity is your family? Puerto Rico. I was from Puerto Rico. Really? Bayamon. Oh, yeah? Yeah. >> What's up, Vegas, bro? Oh, really? Yeah. What brought you up here, man? This is I was born and raised in this town. My mom was originally from that island. Oh, okay. It's beautiful down there. Yeah, it is. Nothing like up here. Exactly. But the Puerto Rican women can be pretty spicy. Yeah, they can. Yeah. I can tell you that from experience. Yeah, I bet. They don't play around. No, they don't. Yeah, from what I found on my my wife's side, like if families are going to spread out at all, it's either Puerto Rico or Florida. Right? >> It's like very rare they come up here unless it's like for a drum, you know, military affiliations. It's crazy, though, right? Yeah. When all the instances were going down at the car where you like he kind of threw the phone on the ground and, you know, pulled you out of the car. Did the kids seem bothered by that at all? No, they didn't. They were all watching a movie on Wyatt's phone. Okay. No None of them like You don't believe that any of them looked up and would have saw that? No. Right now, he he's been charged with uh en- endangering the welfare of the children just because of the acts that he was doing in front of the children. While that all that was going down, were you able to really even see the children? Cuz I know you were probably busy with other stuff, you know, with dealing with him. >> looked in there. They weren't They weren't um bothered by it at all. You looked So, af- You looked after the fact, right? To make sure. Yeah, they they literally weren't bothered. And I asked Wyatt, too, you know, just to make sure. I said, um "Did you, you know, see any of that? Did any of that bother you?" And he told me no. Okay. Sounds good. Thank you so much. The man was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a dependent, and third degree criminal mischief.
