She scratched me, she's bit me. She just sat there and told me she has imaginary friends now. She sat there and told me that she slapped my daughter in the face. >> My mom pulled our eggs on the floor. >> You were attacking him. He was trying to get you off him. But he kept pushing me. That's what they didn't see. He kept pushing me. >> On March 31st, 2024, officers responded to a residence following a domestic dispute involving a man and his fiance after an argument that began earlier in the day. Hello. What's going on today? Got into an altercation with my fiance. They said they That's the fact cuz they saw everything as well. Let's start from the beginning. >> We've already been having an argument beforehand today. >> y'all here for? >> No. This is my mom and this is her grandfather cuz I called him while she was doing it at the same time. She came in. I didn't realize she was even here. She just walked through the door. We already had an argument. She was already talking about leaving, this that and the third. So, she was already gone for majority of the day. I've been here with my girls on my own. She came in, grabbed some more stuff, came out here. I came out onto the porch. She came back up here muttering something. So, we sat there and I told her I wasn't going to argue with her anymore today. I was I just wasn't. It just led to this. That's it. >> What were y'all arguing about? I couldn't even tell you. It's the little things. It's one It'll turn into one thing and it'll turn into another. I don't know how to explain it because she is running faster up here than she is out with her words because she has mental illness. She has psychosis. She's dealing with stuff up here. But she's refusing to take her meds and that's what's been troubling. But this is not the first time this has happened. And this is your fiance, wife, girlfriend? Does she live here with you? Yes, she does. But she's like on the same day she's been moving out. >> What do you mean? She's moving out today? >> That's what she's been planning on doing. She's saying that we're done and this that and the third and that was 8:00 9:00 this morning saying that we were done. >> Did the kids see it by chance? No, I made sure they didn't. Okay. It happened just right here. What did you do when she started? I mean, it looks like she scratched your face. >> She scratched me, she's bit me. I'm pretty sure I'm not trying to like I'm also artist and I was getting on my back. I mean, did you push her off of you? Did you I did. >> back? >> No, I didn't I didn't hit her at all. She wants to say that I caused these on her. She wants to say that I caused these on her, but that was when she was launching at me, striking at me. And all I did was just I defending myself. I wasn't even swinging back at her. They'll tell you the same thing cuz they said they would tell you everything as well, but I'm not sitting here trying to like >> I've seen her since she does pictures. Yeah, she just sent me those. Say, wait just have the cops come. Wait till they see these. Like she's been aggressive and it's a lot. I've been trying to tell her family there that she needs to get reevaluated. She just sat there and told me she has imaginary friends now. Her psychosis is getting worse. She's not taking her meds. I've kind of lost of what I need to do and I've been asking them for help. For this point not to happen. Are the kids in the house? Y'all's kids are >> No, there's my girls. You said they saw everything. So, I'm under the impression you you saw everything. >> Yeah, I was right here. Okay, so what happened? >> She came in. He was by himself. I don't know if the girls are inside or not, but I just saw her park and she was pretty upset cuz I saw her kind of like upset. She goes in there, she starts yelling at him. Then all I hear is I'm done with this and then they go outside and then she starts to put her hands on him. And then that's when he starts to yell, "Please help me, you know, call 911. I'm trying to keep her away from me." But he was really being attacked by her, you know, like she was all over him. Did he push her back or anything? >> I saw him just like kind of restraining each other. He was kind of and he would even go like that, but she kept like going towards him. Okay. And then my girls were out here as well. I didn't call the cops because I don't like to be in no type of drama relationship. I'm like, maybe they'll go over it. I don't know. But then when I saw he was kind of hurt and I heard him call the cops, I said, "Okay, this is where I can tell them that I was witness cuz I we were out here the whole time when that happened." And it's not the first time they've had arguments. >> Yeah, that's what one of the other deputies told me. So, she's been here before. >> Oh, yeah, definitely. And it's always her coming and then it's kind of the same thing happening, so. Get your ID. Her name data work. Definitely. There you go. Ooh, what happened? >> That's Zola. Zola, our dog. Okay. As soon as you came, she's like, "The police is taking him." And I'm like, "Girl, how do you know that? Kids nowadays." They wanted to come say hi to you. Hello. Well, I can tell you this. This falls in the family violence all day long. We're all having a child together, living together, fiance. It makes it family violence. So, you don't have to say anything. Once we establish probable cause, we seek warrants. We're also with the victim wants. You're the victim in this. So, I'm seeking battery charges against her. Is that your decision to make? >> No, I know. I just Is there any possible way you could Her mother's [snorts] here. Could you have her talk to her about getting her sick or not like instead of going to like jail, her getting evaluated at the same time because that's what she needs? Like I said, State of Georgia ties our hands and uh I can see the injuries. I've got eyewitness saying that she attacked you. Y'all are a couple, it makes it domestic violence. So, we're going to seek a charge from her with that and put her in front of a judge and the victim advocate for you. So, if you want to say, "Hey, look, I think she really needs some mental health." And they'll explore those options with her. Just cuz she's charged with something doesn't mean she's going to be convicted. But they'll force the issue where they could do like a psych assessment, they can do an alcohol assessment to see if that's the issue. They can put her in family court or mental health court or a veteran's court as well. So, they'll force the issue and get her in front of a judge. I just want her to get help. I don't want this to happen to anybody else either. That's why I stress Well, everyone has the right to feel safe and secure in their own home. She sat there and told me that she slapped my daughter in the face, but I don't even know whether to have that as proof or not cuz I don't have no evidence of that. I got it. She's pushing herself too hard and it's it's breaking my heart for her because I'm trying to help, but I can't even get her family to help her. I understand. I mean, it's a frustrating situation without a doubt. The most they want to do is just file charges, come get her, put her away for a couple days. I know that's not what she needs. So, there's a two-party preferred outcome they could do. But ultimately, with this case going forward, the judge is going to most likely send her for a mental health evaluation anyway. That's something the victim advocate can contact [snorts] you and be something to discuss with them. Any questions for me right now? You answered and I've Asked all of I just want her to get help. >> I understand. That's the main That's my main part of it. My daughter is my daughter. Her boyfriend they got into it. Yeah. We just rushed over here and we got the call and just ahead of the deputy sheriff. I guess y'all live nearby then. Yeah. >> Yeah. So, y'all weren't here when it happened? >> No. No. Okay. The kids were here though? The little girls. Yeah, the little girls were here. Uh-huh. How are y'all? Good. Bought the girls some Easter baskets. Hi. How are you? Good. >> My mom pulled our eggs on the floor. Yeah. What's your name? My name is Addy. Addy. I'm My name is Delilah. Delilah and Addy? Yeah, my name I have spell my name as A D E L I L A. >> Nice. My name is Julie. Do you know where she go? I don't know much. Really, I feel like at this point Yeah. So, I am going to pursue charges. I mean, there's clear visible injuries on him. I've got eyewitness saying that she attacked him. That's family violence. Once we establish probable cause, we seek warrants. Now, with that being said, she'll go in front of a judge and where it goes from there is the court system. Like I told him, just cuz someone's charged with a crime doesn't mean they actually ever get convicted of it. There's tons of like mental health programs they can put them in. There's family court they can send them to. There's hundreds of options. Once we find the address, we'll pick her up. I mean, ultimately, I mean, this he does. So, being F A, once she gets to jail, she'll have a bond. Once she gets a bond, she'll go see a judge and I'll give her a bond. The bond will be a conditional bond And there's tons of conditions on it like can't do alcohol, can't A lot of things you can't do. Can't own guns, all this good stuff. The things that apply to you is it also includes you cannot come to this residence. Can't be within 150 ft of you. Place of employment, cannot contact you directly or indirectly or anything. If she does, then she's violated the conditional bond order. It functions just like a TPO, but it's not. Hi. How are you? Oh, yeah. Hey, this is slippery. You okay? I have been meaning to put some like shingles for down here, so be careful. You know, they got stripped at the >> How are you? by Home Depot. I'm cheating. What's my name? John. What's your name? My name is Satellite. That's a name. You wear PJs all day? Yeah. Yeah, I do that too when I'm not working. Cuz Daddy don't let me take it. It's Sunday. It's time to relax. >> Oh, there he is. I didn't wear one today. And I I'll stay in pajamas, too. If I could, I would, too, but I got to kind of look presentable for them. And y'all got a puppy. Good. I think I know where she is. Where? Over at my wife's house. What's the address? 3111 Hidden Pass. Hidden what? Hidden Pass. Let me make sure. We don't live together. We're separated. Hello. I think you better come over cuz you got a warrant for your arrest. I got a warrant for your arrest. Where is she at? She's coming over here. I'd rather her not come here. He said he would rather not you not come here. Want to meet him at the BP station over there? She is at an address at Hidden Pass. Trying to get her to meet me at BP on Third and Sardis. You want me to meet you at BP on Sardis? If she will. Yeah. Just meet him at the BP on Sardis. Thank you so much. So, what happened at the house? >> I was trying to go back in to get my Xbox cuz I was trying to go back to my grandma's, too, to get show y'all cuz I was going to call y'all cuz I know if when he evicts me, then I have 30 days to get my stuff. But I technically still live there. And so, I was trying to go get my Xbox and um my other stuff that's under my name and my watch, but he would not let me back in. He kept pushing me and pushing me and then he scratched me and I fell into the gate that's on the porch and I don't know what happened but with my nose, but I just saw it when I got to my grandma's. So, what about as far as the scratches to his face and all that stuff? Cuz he kept pushing me and he and then I was trying to maneuver and he kept throwing me up. That's when I I tried to catch him up with my hands. And that was all on the porch. Yes. So, there was actual witness to all this. Okay. The neighbor next door says you attacked him. She said that he was screaming for help as you were attacking him. He was trying to get you off But he kept pushing me. That's what they didn't see. He kept pushing me down the ramp. So, they watched you attack him. That was the words that your neighbor told me. So, either way, go ahead and turn around and put your hands behind your back for me. Can I put my purse in the car real quick? You can have your stuff and we'll get it put in the in the car for you. You are under arrest for battery. You got your wrist. You'll be given an opportunity to speak your peace to a judge and all that good stuff. I have an eyewitness saying you were hitting him. But he gets to and y'all and I have all these on me. And he has a big scratch mark across his face, bite marks on his arm, and I have a witness saying that you attacked him. As he called for help, call 911. Do you have any pockets? No, I don't have any pockets. Leggings. Okay. Is it okay if your grandfather comes and gets the vehicle? Yeah. Okay. Have a seat. And my belly's out like >> Yeah, that's that's that's what worries me. You said your granddad was okay to come get your vehicle, right? I mean, I'm not going to drive crazy or anything, but I can't promise you no one else is going to drive crazy. Cuz our witness was like, he literally didn't like He might have tried to get her off of him, but he never He wasn't doing anything crazy. He was just basically getting assaulted by her. But she made a statement where he told her that he's calling the cops, that she'll punch herself in the face. The neighbor, the lady that was talking to her, literally watched it all and said he was just She jumped on him and started attacking him. He was just trying to get her to leave. What were they doing? Trying to get her to leave? They were arguing. I walked in and the little girls, they both gave me a hug like they knew me. And then she said, "Mommy, there's my eggs on the So you didn't tell me anything about that. That's all they said and I don't want to keep I don't want to ask them anymore. So I was like, "Oh, okay." The woman was charged with battery, simple battery, and endangerment.
