Parents turn [music] restaurants into their personal battlegrounds with outrageous demands and over-the-top meltdowns. They never really expect how quickly things can flip once the cops arrive and they end up [music] on the pity side of things. >> Well, when you punch him in the face, you know, >> I didn't Oh my god, he's saying I punched him in the face. You can't just walk up to me and say all this [ __ ] I have rights cuz my children wereing raped. So what is what can I charge? Starting with this grandmother who completely lost it after her family was told to leave a bar. >> You don't have to touch her. >> She's going to jail. >> Do not touch her. >> When a deputy sheriff gives you a lawful order to get out of the car, >> the plastic thing >> and I threw it down on the ground. >> You threw it on the ground? >> Yeah, I did that. That was me. >> On July the 31st, 2024, officers received a call from a bar reporting an elderly woman causing a scene and even throwing [music] things at the manager after her family was asked to leave. They rushed over just in time to stop the suspect who was attempting to flee the [music] scene. >> Stop. Stop now. Stop now. >> The guy took my purse, >> threw us out because our friend moved a chair and he grabbed him by the back of the car. Stop. We're leaving. >> Can you step out for me real quick? I got to talk to you. Step out for me. >> I don't have an ID. Hey, >> you don't have to touch her. >> She's going to jail. >> Do not touch her. >> Get out of the car now. >> No, I'm not going to jail. Go get out of the car, please. >> You're under arrest at this point in time. Okay. >> You have to tell her why. >> FOR WHAT? >> YOU GOT TO TELL her why. >> The battery. So, put the car in park right now. Shut it off. >> Shut it off. >> You tell her why. >> I will tell why, but shut the car off. >> She can go to the car. I'm going to help you out. Okay. >> Come outside. >> No, I'm not getting out of the car. >> You're going to have a fun time. >> Call Doug. >> Call Doug. >> All right. Ready? >> What did I do? You're going to jail for battery and obstruction. >> I'm not going to get hurt. >> Sushi. Sushi. Come on. Come on. >> Put your hands behind your back. Don't worry. Sushi. >> No, I'm not back up. >> No, I'm done. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> No. Behind your back, please. >> The man grabbed our friend by the dirt and took my purse. I told I called him a name and wiped out. >> What did they do? Face the car. >> What did I do? >> Face the car. >> I got one. >> Okay. >> He took the stuff off. >> When a deputy sheriff gives you a lawful order to get out of the car, you get out of the car. >> I'm sorry. I'm so bad. This guy was so rude. Wait, wait, wait. So, >> we're not going to stop. >> No, no. I need to listen. I need to listen. >> Come on, Charlie. What's 104? >> I'm not going. We have an adult temp. >> I want my He took my purse. >> Okay. >> And then told us to leave because we moved a chair for our child. So when he tells you to get out of the car so they don't talk about what happened >> and try and pull like it's not cool. >> I did. I'm so mad. I'm so mad. I was >> unfortunately a business can took you out for any reason. >> We left. >> They can kick you out for any reason. >> We left after he he pulled the guy by the shirt. >> My daughter's here. My granddaughter. He there's a party of 11. We moved a chair. >> That's up to the business if they want to ask you to leave >> and we left. >> So when we show up and tell you to do something, you have to do it. We're investigating. We're being told he threw something at someone, too. >> I threw something. No, I want my purse. He won't let me go back in. And I want my purse. And he said, "We can't go back in." I want my purse. >> Does she have the purse? >> No, it was hanging on the back of my chair. >> They went back in to get it cuz he refused to let me in. >> Somebody grabbed it like one of the employees. >> Okay, we'll make sure it's g it's taken care of. So, >> no one threw anything at him. >> Stay with him for a second. >> Did he say anything about the purse? hurt my purse. >> I'm gonna go ask about >> He said I could not go back in because >> the kid initiated it like Dave initiated it and then my mom probably was rude and like trying to call him names and stuff. >> This came out as a assault and battery in progress. >> With the old Karen now in cuffs, they went inside the bar to talk to the manager. What they weren't quite [music] prepared for was what he was about to tell them. >> So everything happened over here. Uh, basically was in the bar area. Okay. >> They're waiting for a table. Um, I asked just the sons, "Hey, are you guys using these chairs? I have a pregnant woman and the guy didn't want to sit at the bar." >> Okay. >> He flipped out on me, started screaming at me cuz I said, "For there's no reason to come asking you." So, I gave the woman my chair instead. Okay. >> And then he decided to go outside and try to fight me, took his shoes off, so I just locked the door. >> And then she comes over to me and starts screaming at me. I said, "Man, why are you screaming at me?" >> Right? >> And she just sc I'm screaming. So, we're walking through here and I get probably right about here. just takes it. >> Boom. Shucks it right at me. I know >> in front of everybody, too. >> Meanwhile, the suspect had an entirely different version of what had happened. >> The plastic thing and I threw it down on the ground. >> You threw it on the ground? >> Yeah, I did that. That was me. Not Not the boy. He was aggravating. I was trying I was trying to like distract them because I know the boy he grabbed >> would fought back. >> Okay. So, you threw an insert with the specials on the ground. >> Yeah, it was like a plastic thing on the table. I threw it on the ground. I screamed on him. >> Sorry, I shouldn't have resisted. But I'm like, what? >> People start [ __ ] with us. >> Let's just >> I shouldn't have resisted. >> Listen, we're here. >> I know, but I'm like, oh my god. But he's >> the only reason we're still here. So, he told us to leave. The only reason we're still here cuz he wouldn't let me go back in and get my purse. And so, two of the guys were going back in to get my purse. And then they weren't coming out. And so I'm like like we were worried so we didn't want to leave them. >> Somewhere in the bar, one of the officers was making effort to find the purse belonging to the suspect. [music] He found nothing after the search. And when he told her about it, she responded most unexpectedly. >> Excuse me, guys. Is this anyone's purse? >> It's mine. >> This is your purse. Okay. You guys know if you picked up a purse from the people who were >> No. Uh the one guy came by, but I haven't seen anything at all. >> Excuse me, guys. Is this your purse behind you here? >> Yeah. Did you guys see a purse that was left behind? >> Okay. Thank you. >> I'm sorry. It's not coming. >> We're still looking for your purse. Okay. I was told. >> Okay. >> Apologize. >> I apologize. >> And that's a thing. Obviously, >> I'm in Kelsey for it. You grab my arm and >> I got you. >> I didn't feel well. I >> I got you. And at the same time, you have to see where we're coming from. We show up to this, you see me coming, you jump in the car, and you started flipping me off and laughing. >> No, I was. I was like, >> it happened. But regardless, >> and then when we tell you to stop and get out of the car and then you just want to say, "No, I'm not." And then even when the corporate got here and it was just and she was here and she's telling you to get out of the car and you're not getting out of the car. >> You know what I mean? >> I know. It's so submissive. >> I got you. >> They finally had her attention. Or so they thought. Deciding to press their luck, they questioned her again, hoping that this time she would come clean. >> What happened inside? Other than I know they're trying to move a chair and >> yeah, we're all seen the women and the girls were all seen at the bar at like the big bar inside and then there we have 11 people. So then the guys were going to sit at the table like in the bar. >> So they moved the chair from the bar bar >> I saw the big chairs in there >> to the table thing you guys were sitting >> to the table bar. >> Okay. And I and then I [music] was and then I don't know like why or what two people came up and that the guy in the orange shirt comes over and he's saying [music] and then to the guys I don't know what he said or whatever and then the one young guy in our crowd he grabbed him by the back of the shirt whatever and then he's mouthing off to him and and so I jumped up because he's a young kid and I knew he would like fight or get >> you were like sticking up for >> so I just thought be mouthing off. >> Okay. So I jumped up, mouthed off or whatever. [music] And then he like told us to leave. So as we're like, you know, leaving, I was like mouththing on to him. >> And then when I came back over and my where the ta the bar where we were sitting >> and my purse wasn't there and I picked up the plastic thing. >> Mhm. >> And I like the it that has the specials. >> Yeah. It's got the little it's a little page with the menu and the drinks and stuff. >> I just like threw it across on the table. I'm like it's got it. >> They have the furniture. They did find the purse. Okay. I said somebody from the party they thought grabbed it and came back in. >> Yeah. And then >> and then so then >> Yeah. So then when we came out, everybody's like, "Let's leave. Let's leave." Or whatever. The guy was being ridiculous >> and I'm like, "I'm not leaving without my purse." Like, and um so then when that's when >> he's pulling it up. I was going to grab that and then we'll be good. He's right there. He might have it. >> Okay. So, but your purse? They did. Someone here in the car has the purse. >> Yeah. She was still busy spinning her tail when the manager strolled over with even more evidence. Like he already knew that she would try to rewrite [music] the script. >> It's hard to see. I said she was at the main bar of the bar. But so she comes over here. You can see her. I'm right here. I'm asking to leave. She throws it at me. >> I'm sorry. I totally reacted when you grab >> You been in trouble before? >> Never. >> Okay. I'm gonna go talk to them real quick again. >> I was We were teasing earlier today. They have a speeding ticket for going 38 and a 30. [laughter] >> Whoever pulled you over for that didn't >> it was on the military base. [laughter] >> That explained that >> I mouth off. I do run my mouth but I was I was so afraid that Dave was going to get in a fight with the guy and get in trouble. >> And I asked the son cuz they took all the chairs from the bar. I said, "Hey, you guys going to use these chairs or you waiting for a table?" Because there were two guests that walked up and they took the chairs away. So this and this son goes, "Well, we're going to we're waiting for a table." I said, "Okay, that's cool. Thank you." I just these people like a seat. So he got up and started cussing at me. He starts getting mad. Girl, why you cussing at me? I want to fit a $100 ticket. I said, "It's cool. That's not my problem." I was asking if you could give these people the chair. So I got up and gave him that chair. He's sad. So then he flipped out. Then the son was like, "You you" I said, "Bro, get out of here." He said, "I'm not leaving." I said, "You're going to leave right now." So then he keeps going, keeps going. Then he decides to go outside the side, go fight you right now. I said, "Okay, let's go outside." So he runs out the side door. That's when I just locked the side door. She comes over to me and starts screaming in my face in front of the entire restaurant, screaming at me for no reason, telling me I'm an >> So then when we were sitting out here waiting like and the guys were going back in looking for my purse or whatever >> my daughter was just laying on the horn. >> Oh yeah. I heard So I heard the 911 call. >> Uhhuh. >> And they're just >> being obnoxious. >> Yeah. >> And they're laughing on their way out. They're like, "Oh, nothing's going to happen." She's like you. And I'm like, "Okay, I'm going to call the cop." for that. And again, I know we talked about it, pressing charges. >> Yeah, I will. I'm going to scan. Okay. >> I'm going to go with the obstruction. I was going to do disorderly, but I'm just going to do the battery in lie of a disorderly. I'm not going to hit with three things. >> Um, so if you want to tell her that she's no longer welcome here. Um, >> I'll never know. >> Like the battery and then we've got another charge on her. >> Yeah. And then I'll do I'll pull a separate number for the trespass. >> So, will I get in trouble if I put on the reviews? >> No. That's a speech loud. You can do whatever the hell you want with that. After everything's said and done, I'm going to go ahead and just let you know you're no longer welcome at a restaurant. Okay. >> Oh, don't you worry. And you're not the owner, so quit calling yourself the owner. >> Thank you. >> Yeah. Quit your false pretense. >> Sounds good. I appreciate that. >> So, this is a trespass war. Do you understand what that is? >> Yeah. Come back here. >> That's fine. Yeah. Thanks. >> All right. We're going to go over. We're going to take a walk over to my car. Okay. >> Okay. With me? >> Yeah. >> Am I Can it okay if I grab your arm now? >> Yes. If she stays with me, >> she'll Yeah, she can come along with us. So, we're just going to go right around the corner to my vehicle here. >> Wait, am I going to? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Yeah, I already explained it to John. It's just >> booking in may take an hour or two, but then if you've never been in trouble before other than a speeding ticket. >> Um, well, because of So, one, there is the charge of obstruction, which is for you not listening to our commands. You're out of the vehicle. >> That threw him >> did hit him directly in the chest. >> Oh, no, I didn't. >> I hear him, right? So, um, yeah. Do you [music] mind? I'll check. >> Do you have pockets or anything? >> Um, I can't even I don't pockets. >> No. >> After investigations were concluded, she was charged with battery and resisting out violence. A grandmother did put up a wild Karen display at that bar. But this woman took it up a notch when [music] she boldly claimed to be God after claiming ownership of a bar and refusing to pay for [music] her tap. >> You want to take me to jail? Come on, let's go. >> Let's go have fun. >> I am who I am. I asked for this. >> I own the place. >> No, you do not. >> I'm PS. >> No, you don't. >> I'm God. >> I don't care. >> I really don't cuz y'all are wrong and I'm right. >> Stop kicking. You're going to bust us out. You're about to get mates. >> On February the 23rd, 2024, officers responded to a bar [music] on a trespassing call. They assumed it would be routine where they show up in uniform and the suspect would just comply. Little did they know they're [music] about to come face to face with a Karen who seems determined to finally learn what it feels like to be in [music] restraint. >> Every time I go buy a car like I need a ride >> and I told nobody mess with this don't talk that person she say I own this bar. I ain't got to go nowhere. Well, I own the bar. >> I run her ass out. Well, I don't want nobody. So, she said >> right by calling police talk no more. She's sitting there now. She had about all my life, >> three, four days. And then she say she ain't going to pay. >> I had to call police department over my neighbor. >> That's where we are right now. >> Um, >> you know right now people >> and she just sitting there right now at the end of the bar. >> It's a fair time and she need to go. my coat back. >> Is that what one ago? >> Yeah. >> No. >> Okay. I'm the uh jail. Come on. Let's go. >> Let's go have fun. >> Let's go party. If you walk out this door, you are going to jail. >> Okay, let's go. >> Pay your tax. >> I want to go to jail. >> You don't. >> Yes, I do. [music] >> I'm not going to pay it because they already paid. >> Your tab's not already paid. >> Honey, listen to me. >> No, >> I am who I am. >> Pay your tab. >> I don't have no money. >> Pay your tab. >> It's already paid. >> No, it's not. >> Yes, it is. >> It's not. >> I swear to God, it's paid. >> I promise you it's not. I promise you it is. >> Look, I promise you it is paid. >> I promise you it's paid. >> It's not. >> Ask her if it's paid. >> Okay. >> It's not. Ultimately, she was charged with theft, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest while intoxicated to annoy or in another case of Karens turning restaurants into their personal battlegrounds. [music] This woman assumed that paying her bills gave her the right to assault a bartender without facing any consequences. >> Okay. What did I do wrong? What are you arresting me for? >> You're not an arrest or detained. >> Okay. I paid my bill and they accused me of not paying my bill. >> And then as I stepped out of the elevator, she turned and [ __ ] hit me right in the face. You can't just walk up to me and say all this and I have rights. >> On July the 20th, 2024, a Sarasota deputy responded to a bar following an report on one of the bartenders by a female customer. Upon his arrival, he saw the suspect leaving the bar and quickly detained her even before he could start asking her questions. >> Put your bag down. Put your bag down. >> No, I paid my bill. Okay, you come in jail. >> There we go. Drop my bills. So, I paid my bill. >> Turning around on me. >> Okay. What did I do wrong? What do you arrest me for? >> You're not an arrest. You're detained. >> Okay. Cuz I paid my bill and they accused me of not paying my bill. >> I paid my bill and he's been following me for blocks. >> So, I went back there and I was like, that's Steph character. I was like, I'll take a brain check for that. >> And he has a big problem with that. He's been correcting me. >> Here, I'm going to help you sit right. Nope. So, I like I said, I paid my bill >> and my answer to my pay my bill was to his staff to be like, "You're aing [ __ ] who doesn't pay your bills. Put your credit down then." >> Where was this at? >> At the White Rabbit where he's from. >> Okay. >> So, the manager said he would give me a free beer for the trouble. And this is the free beer for the trouble. >> This is a free beer for the trouble. This is a free bear for the trouble. >> Okay. So, why what you didn't >> This is a free bear. They gave me a rain check. So, I can't take the rain check today. And he called police. >> Okay. Then why is he following you? >> Cuz he's an idiot. >> Okay. What happened in front of El Melvin or Classico? >> I just said I keep saying stop following me. I just I can't make it any clear. I'm just speaking. >> Like I said, I paid for my beer yesterday, >> right? I've never been to the right. >> What happened today? I don't Yesterday >> So they said So yesterday, >> stop yelling at me. >> So yesterday the bartender that's there took my money, >> charged my card, >> and then poured me the beer. I said, "Do not pour me a beer until you charge my card." >> Okay. >> So he charged my card, poured my beer. >> Then he went have to do back work. >> A female came up. >> Okay. >> And she said, "You're a dead beat. You didn't pay for your beer. I was about to leave. >> And so I was like, that's not true. >> And so the manager came, >> you have anything in your pocket? >> No. >> The manager came and said, you get a rain shot. Don't worry about it. >> And so he is my >> When his colleague arrived to take over the suspect's interrogation, he turned his attention to the manager [music] to hear his side of the story. >> Sorry, buddy. I had to wait for him to get >> Sorry. >> What happened? So, okay, let me let me start from the [ __ ] beginning. Okay, >> so yesterday she came in and she came in and apparent, you know, we pre-authorized cards. >> So, uh we pre-authorized her card. It wasn't she said this is yesterday. >> This is yesterday. This started yesterday. >> So, we pre-authorized her card. She paid her bill. There was no problem. She came in today causing a a or she caused ruckus yesterday saying >> she wasn't paying her bill, blah blah blah. today. She came in causing a huge scene, yelling, making [music] a big ruffus at the bar. I asked her to calm down nicely. >> Was that a few minutes ago? >> This was just not long ago, maybe. Just make sure. >> Yeah. I asked her nicely to leave. She caused a huge scene. Um she got in the elevator, went uh didn't go anywhere, came back out out. Uh I asked her nicely to get in. I rode the elevator down with her. Um I was stay my distance. And uh when we walked out of the elevator, she hit me right in the face. >> And just to be clear, you rode the elevator because you wanted her off of the >> out of the property. >> Out of the restaurant. >> Out of the restaurant. Correct. And then as I stepped out of the elevator, she turned and hit me right in the face. Where? >> Um right in here in the face. I mean, it's there's I doubt there's going to be a mark, but she is she definitely hit me and then pushed me away. You know, >> any witnesses there? Um, there was a a couple right outside the out there, but I mean >> Okay. Do you want to pursue charges for hitting you? >> I mean, I know it's going to be a lot for me to I'd have to go to like court and like that, you know? I just >> So, it's up to you. I mean, it's not it's not right for somebody just to hit somebody. >> It's not causing an issue. So, but it's up to you either way. >> Either way, I need your ID. >> Yeah. That's uh I actually don't have it. It's up in the restaurant. Up and grab it. >> Go grab it. Let's find grab it. Yeah, I'm going to go up the back alley. >> After listening to the manager, the pieces finally came together. And the picture became clear. The suspect was a Karen who walked around with the confidence of someone who believed that rules didn't apply to her. And now they're about to deflate her ego faster than a popped balloon. >> What's your name? I've already Okay. What's your name? >> Karen. >> Karen. No. No. And so I paid with that card. I I made the the guy run it through before I go just to make sure that it's working. >> So they're like, "Oh, no. It's >> where are you staying at?" >> No, they keep saying it's, "Oh, it's pre-authorized." Oh, it was pre-au and you're like, "No, no, no. I made sure that I paid, signed, delivered >> before I you you accuse me of a diner." >> Nobody accused you of that. >> No, they did >> to us. They didn't tell us that. So, >> that's why I'm back for >> No, they're so guilty. They gave me a free one. >> Well, they didn't accuse you of anything. You hear that? Cop. >> Cuz I got in his face. He wouldn't let me alone. >> Yeah. >> I didn't talk to him. >> No. >> No. >> The worst thing I would do is spit. And I didn't spit. I swear. >> Probably spitting on me. >> No. I'm a woman being followed by a guy. Do I not get any freedom from that? That's okay. It's okay for him to follow a girl down the sidewalk like a Mariah. >> Well, when you punch him in the face. Yeah. I didn't. Oh my god. You saying I punched you in the face? Where's your black eye? >> Hey, why don't you chill over here before you catch another charge? >> I punch you in the face. >> Oh, that's good. Oh, yeah. >> Why would I hit anybody for a free beer? >> Well, does it make any sense? >> I'm trying to figure out. >> Well, they just apparently didn't like that I got a free beer. You can't just walk up to me and say all this. I have rights. >> There's no violation of your rights. >> No. No. Well, I'm sorry, but I mean, well, she she's going to call me a dead beat and say I didn't pay him for my drink at the bar in the establishment. I thought management might want to worry about that. And they did. They apologized. They said, "Come back for a [ __ ] rain check." And then he caused this. >> Yeah. Defamation of defamation is civily the you know it's no you're talking about the criminal law but civily >> civily civily I can sue them for definition civily you clear on it >> okay so you seem like it too much hair gel >> so yeah you >> so civily they violated my rights does that work with you cuz I mean if your mother was in there paying for a drink. Would it be okay that if a waitress came after your mother and said you didn't pay for that cut? >> Well, no. I defamation. >> It's a civil lawsuit. >> That's right. I have a civil lawsuit with that which we settled by them giving me a drink which is not settled because he followed me down two blocks. I went to Harbor. >> I don't know. I would have no idea. Axon. I mean, you act like like I wouldn't know. It's all just on the download, is it? I mean, you're wearing mirrored sunglasses. Let me see your eyes. Take your sunglasses off. Thank you. The law is proper. You're not supposed to have them on when you're detaining someone. No, actually, I will just detain the law. It's not a law violation by any. >> It's a work violation. >> No, it's not. Our policy doesn't >> Oh, that's good to know. >> So, when you're graduate Sarasota >> High School, >> where'd you go? >> Where? >> Booker High. >> Where? >> Booker High. >> Where? What high school is that? >> Booker High School. >> Where? >> Sarasota. >> So, Oh, okay. So, I'm looking for my roommate, Kirsten Knaider, >> class of 87. Do you know where she is? >> Do you know where she is? Cuz my children wereing. >> Do you know that you went to Poker High School? >> Oh, this is what it's all about. >> This is what we're going to do. Clearly, you don't know how to calm down. >> I do, but you're going to lie. Oh, you're shaking. You're shaking. You're shaking. >> I will car. Stop. Stop. >> Away from that creep. >> Stop. >> I deserve that. DON'T I JACKIE KENNY'S DAUGHTER >> like three times. That's another charge. Thanks. >> When it dawned on her that things weren't about to go her way, she decided to pull out an old Karen trick card. The victim card. >> What did I do wrong other than yelling at his phone saying, "Why are you following me?" So a man can follow me down the street. >> No, I want to know what did I do wrong? >> Cuz I've never assaulted a man in my life. Do you realize the time I >> But they can assault me and you can put me in prison for it. >> No. Why are you assaulting me? >> No. Why are you letting him assault me? >> So here you're charges, right? Would you like to know that? >> Let me know. I I want to charge him for a search. >> You're a police officer. Where? I want you to charge him with assault. >> Didn't assault you. >> He said I hit him, right? So, >> so he got close enough for me to hit him, but he's CALLING THE POLICE ON A PHONE, threatening to call the police, threatening me, following me for three blocks, and he didn't assault me with these phones. >> I want all of them. >> Yeah, I want all of my stuff with me, >> right? Well, that's not going to happen. >> Have a wallet on the phones, baby. You >> want both phones? >> Birds. So, those will come with you. All right. So, your charges are simple battery. Oh, I batteried him. >> Disorderly intoxication. >> Oh, really? Cuz he had one drink >> and resisting without violence. Okay. >> I resisted. >> So, how did I resist? >> I'm not your charging officer. >> He's charging me with resisting without >> without violence. Yes, ma'am. >> Oh, blender. >> Okay. So, what is what can I charge with him? Stalking me? How about stalking? >> Well, he stalked me for five [ __ ] blocks through an elevator. That's not stalking as far as >> Oh, it isn't because he seemed to know who I am and my children. >> I mean, HE DID CALL. NO, HIS RESTAURANT DID ACCUSE me of not paying my bill. >> That's fine. >> That's why he went back cuz the manager said, "Please come back. It's on us." And he came running out from the kitchen saying you and here I am. She was charged with battery, resisting without violence and disorder when cops knocked Miss Anderson off of her high horse after throwing stuff at a restaurant's employee and accusing cops of being racist. >> What? What you talking about? I can't get a refund. Him, right? >> Yes, he's the best. >> Listen, listen, listen. Okay. >> This man had an attitude at the one. >> Oh, we don't understand. You're right. >> Cuz I'm black, ain't it? On July the 9th, 2021, officers got a call from a fast food restaurant complaining about a woman who was causing a scene at the counter. Upon reaching the officer, the officers encountered the woman. >> What's going on, ma'am? >> I threw a I threw a drink at the door, sir. I all I did was throw a drink at the door because first of all, when I got through the drive when I got to the drive-thru line, he had an attitude there. >> I'm just trying to tell cuz No, cuz they trying to say all I asked for was >> It don't matter. It don't matter what they say. Relax. All right, relax. It ain't the end of the world. All right, tell me what happened. >> Now you're not going to I understand you not even going to help me. But he got to the window. I got to the window right there. He He trying to talk. He already talking crazy like talking loud at me and everything like I'm already saying something. I'm just ordering my food. I haven't even said nothing yet. Got to bring the camera back and everything. So I get up here and then and then I'm like, um, can I get a um ranch or something? And then he talking about he talking about three cents and stuff or whatever. I'm okay. That's fine. But then I said, "And I check my fries." I said, "So y'all don't make y'all stuff fresh?" He said, "Yeah." And I I said, "My fries are about cold." And he looked at me crazy and walked back over there. And then he going to put his hands in the fries. No gloves or nothing. Put his hands in there and ate it. And then um come out and then I guess he dropped the fries. And I said, "What? What's the problem? Do you have attitude?" And then he got mad talking about do you want them or not? I'm trying to make it over. He's like, "What? On me the meo?" And then and I said, "Well, can I just get a refund?" And he going to sit in here, "No refunds." No, you come back in the morning. What you mean I can come back in the morning? You the whole manager. You don't even I said, "What's your name?" He going to shut the window on me. Lock the window. And then talking about tell them other people to go around. I said, "I'm not leaving until I get my refund." Talking about tell other customers to go around to that window. Like what? What you talking about? I can't get a refund. So he going So I went So I went around and he um sit that other window. And so he came outside and so I threw the I threw the drink. According to the woman, she was served cold fries and when asked why, she was behaved poorly by the person on the door. However, upon questioning the attendee, things [music] turned out to be different. >> Did she throw it at you? >> Yeah, she threw it at me. He has everything on camera. My boss is on the phone right now. >> She wants a refund. >> No, after doing that, I'm not giving her nothing. >> Has she got her food? >> She has her food. She wasted her drink. I was getting her a like I explained to him, I was getting her a fresh thing of fries. That's on her. >> But when you start throwing stuff and you doing like a weapon or you doing all this extra stuff, I'm not dealing with you at all. >> Period. My boss already wants me to go here and press charges cuz that's that's now you you doing the extra. >> Sorry. Do you want to press charges? >> Yeah. Go ahead and get her up out of here, man. I don't know. >> Understanding the whole situation, the cops tried to calm the angry woman down. However, she had some different plans. >> I just spoke with the manager. All right. him, right? >> Yes, he's the manager. >> Listen, listen. Listen, listen. Okay. >> This man had an attitude at the window. >> Can you listen? >> Can you listen? Listen. >> All right. Never help. >> All right. We're We're actually trying to help you. Okay. Because technically, if I wanted to, I could lock you up right now for interference with a business. Okay. >> I am. >> I could. Am I going to? Not. All right. But if you keep on acting, you're going to find yourself going to the Cab County jail on a dumb charge. >> He said he was going to beat my ass when he came over here to my car saying he gonna beat my ass. >> Okay, listen. That's that's hearsay. All right. But what we can what we do know is you're out here being disorderly throwing drinks because of a free a refund. You admitted it. There's proof over there. He said the same thing. >> You can look at the cameras. He was listen. >> All right. You are going to get a ticket today. All right. For interference with the business. It's all right. And you can go about your business. >> No, we don't understand. You're right. >> Cuz I'm black. Ain't it? >> The woman, later identified as Miss Anderson, started blaming the cops for racism. And finally, [music] the cops had to do what was needed. >> Hey, Miss Anderson, get out the car. Don't even get me out of my house cuz I know I didn't do nothing, man. You don't make sense. This man >> All right, Miss Anderson, turn around. Place your hands behind your back. You had the opportunity. >> Callah, I got my stuff in my car. That's fine. I'll impound your car. >> I just need you to get my >> That's fine. >> My money's in my car. My window's down. Can you let my window up? >> Stop. You're being loud and boisterous out here creating a scene when there isn't need to be a scene created. >> Well, he already had came out here making >> Listen, all that will be a document on the report. You're not going today for simple simple assault for throwing this damn drink on him. It's these are city ordinances that won't even go >> that won't even go on your >> I don't even have money for all of this. That's all when came to get me something to eat. Like I haven't eaten all day and this man did this to me just to answer please. I cannot afford this. Please. >> Lastly, one of the officers questioned the restaurant employees to know the whole scene and what had [music] transpired. >> All right. The fries wasn't cuz I have somebody new training. So, I've been on there trying to train them. So, the fries was luke lukewarm. So, I said, "Okay, ma'am. I'll make sure you get some fresh fries." I was going to give her extra stuff on top of her. You know how many time I try to offer y'all food is cuz y'all do do y'all mess with us. You know what I'm saying? >> She didn't want to take. So, she No, she was like, "Oh, you got an attitude. I got an attitude. What I got an attitude for? There's no reason for me to have an attitude." She was like, "You got an attitude?" I'm like, "No, I ain't got no attitude. I'm trying to give you your fries just the way you like them. Hot, fresh, and ready. I want everybody [music] to have their food hot, fresh, and ready." She from there, she was like, "Uh uh, I I just want my refund. Now, you're still going to eat the food for the night or whatever you want to do, and then you just come back in the morning. You wasn't pleased with whatever. And okay, we'll give you your refund." From there, she walked. From there, I asked her, "Can she pull up?" I asked her, "Can she pull up? Take care of her more out there. That way, you don't hold the the lines." She was like, "Uh, I ain't moving nowhere. I want my ref. I want refund." At that moment, I pulled off. I let me go ahead and take care of my other customer on this side. She comes around. She gets out. The car comes around and comes on this side. Now, she holding it up. She's at this window. But I had a black escalade right there, and he couldn't get through to get his stuff. She comes straight directly at me. I said, "I want my refund. I want my refund." Like I said, we got carrying me. Everything show. And she took her drink was tried to catch me and I hurry up and came back inside. Shut the door. But yet it still caught. It caught me a little bit. Not major. Finally, Miss Anderson was charged with interference with business and resisting arrest without violence.
