So, the reason I stopped you is your top speed there was 69 and the speed of this road is 45. I I'm sure you hear it all the time. The speedometer is completely off. I What's a good phone number for you? I recode first. Let me get it. Boom. Oh my god. It's your fault. Fault. Oh my god. Is it not going to stop? Did they make contact? They hit they hit each other. Yeah. I'm not going. Go catch that car that's directly in front of you. It's gray after the Honda. Yeah. 104, I believe. So, should have some damage on it. Street F. Step on over to this side. This what I want you to do. Go ahead. Take a deep breath. Cuz I saw I saw that happen and I know that that wasn't your fault. Okay. So, ultimately, what I'm going to need is your driver's license, registration, and insurance. There you go. So, but relax just a little bit. My partner chased him. That car that screeched on his brakes was my partner. He's going to chase that guy that think was driving away. So, this is what the deal is. I didn't write you for everything that I could have, right? You got speed violation. You got failing to change your address, failing to register your motorcycle, not having any registration paperwork with all that stuff. You have all these other things. I don't write you for any of those, right? All that stuff cost you more money. But if you get into an accident, you got to have insurance. You got to have motorcycle endorsement. That's all I wrote you for. I said, "Did you have damage on your bumper before you left?" He goes, "There's damage?" I said, "No, no, no. You have damage on your bumper before you started driving." "No." "Oh, yeah." You That's why I was like, "You got into a collision." I'm like, "Are you going to stop?" And you're like, "I'm just going to drive away." I didn't feel it last. I thought everyone You didn't feel your car make contact with another vehicle? Oh, okay. Well, you did and then you left the scene. So, you felt that everyone around you. That was Yeah, I felt it in my soul. So, you have to yield while you're making a left. You have to yield. Cars aren't going to stop for you in an intersection without any sort of traffic control device. So you don't just get to pull in front of cars and expect that they're going to stop. Especially when you have two small humans whose safety you're responsible for in the back seat. And it is it is a absolute miracle that that accident wasn't worse. So that was 100% avoidable. There's no reason for you to make a left in front of that car. Yeah, it was my fault. Yeah. And having two small humans that you're responsible for makes it even worse. No, you're not wrong. I try You know what? I try to live on the mountain, right? So I appreciate that. All right. So, a lot just happened. Uh, I stopped the motorcycle for 69 mph in a 45. While I'm there riding him that ticket, um, a very minor collision happens in front of us. One of the drivers didn't know that he had made contact with the car. He leaves the scene. Uh, Deputy Mawane happened to be right here. I directed Deputy Maine to go get that car cuz we don't let people crash into cars and drive away here in panel. Deputy Mawane caught that car, brought him back. uh did a collision investigation while we were here at the scene. Deputy Rutled comes to assist me. While I'm doing the paperwork for the collision, Deputy Rutled and Deputy Mawane smell the odor of burnt marijuana. They look up and see this red Nissan Armada that's sitting next to me. Uh with the driver with the windows down, driver smoking weed um as he's driving down the road approaching the stop sign that's behind me. Uh gentleman pulled up next to us and he was actively smoking marijuana. saw the we we smell it and we saw it the smoke coming from the vehicle. So myself and Deputy Main contacted the driver, had him pull over. Oh no. Oh no. I was just I was smelling the weed in here. I was like 2 3 1 2 3 4. All right, there you go. Take a deep breath and blow. All right. Zeros. Okay. Perfect. Okay. Drink. All right. Here's the deal, man. Okay. You're going to be placed under arrest for DUI. Okay. [Music] Yep. So, we'll take care of all that here in a minute. Okay. Deputy Rutled arrested the driver for DUI drugs, and that's it. So, that guy's on his way to go get processed. I'm still working on my collision investigation paperwork, and I'm waiting for the driver of this Nissan Armada to come here and pick it up, uh, who's not impaired. So all that happened in about the last hour. So uh it's busy afternoon here.
