You're under arrest. I'm under arrest? Yeah. Are you arresting me? Ma'am, you don't leave a 6-year-old alone in a hotel room. Uh you left daughter in a hotel room by herself for multiple hours. She called off the wedding, then his Karen mom and sister teamed up and turned the house into a war zone. You're under arrest. Stop it. Stop resisting right now. Stop resisting. I'm not going to resist. Now you're under arrest for battery on a law enforcement officer. It seemed simple at first until alcohol, a gun, police, and a plot twist no one [music] saw coming got dragged into it. A routine call suddenly turned into a domestic violence case. The bride-to-be trembled as she described alcohol, control, and a wedding on the verge of collapse. I don't really feel like I need to be this whole big thing, but What's going on? We're getting We're engaged. We're supposed to be getting married in February, like 6 months. And he has a problem with alcohol. And I told him I said if things don't change, then like we're done. Okay. And we had like we've had like some fights recently where like he's gotten like kind of aggressive and like his hands on me. And um So last night like after that fight, he's like, "All right, I'm going to I'm going to be better, and you know, I'm I'm not going to you know, drink anymore." And then I went to work yesterday and I got home and he was wasted. I was like, "What is going on? Like what what are we doing here?" And then we got into another fight. And I somehow got like he was like preventing me from leaving the house. He took my phone. I had to come back here with my sister to go get it. And even then, she she had to go into the house cuz she's like, "All right, I'm going to wait inside the car. Like like if you need me, like I'll go inside." Anyways, we finally got the phone. I slept at my sister's house. I'm like, "Okay, I need like I have work tomorrow. Like I need to at least be able to get my clothes. So, I went in here and of course he's still drunk. He blew up all of my family's phones and I was like, "Okay, this is what's going to happen. This is our new plan. Like we're not getting married anymore. If you want to continue to work on things, whatever." But then he was preventing me from leaving again. He was pushing me. He was screaming at me. And then he has this this gun in this like this little safe thing. It's like this little bag. And he like ran over to the office to like go get it and he's like threatening to kill himself and you know, if I leave or if I dump him. And he didn't pull it out, but I'm just letting you know. Like >> Okay. The drunk man still tried to play the victim, but every question from police cut like a blade until one dangerous detail got brought up. me to the ground. Like the other day he shoved me so hard I fell to the ground. Did he put his hands on you? Somewhat. I wouldn't say that he shoved me to the ground today. >> or did he not put his hands on you? Did he? He somewhat did. Okay. Describe it to me, please. He He maybe like grabbed my shoulders. Grabbed your shoulders, okay. And And was that during the the you're not leaving thing? Yeah. Okay. He's drunk right now? Yeah. Drunk enough to where he's like in like intoxicated to the point where he's not going to be [music] able to communicate to me? >> I think he'd be able to communicate with you. But I told you there was like a bottle of of like Havana Club in there. >> He's not going to be stupid with that gun or anything, right? >> think so. So, what happened? Why am I here? What happened? You said typical argument. Describe the argument to me. So, we had an argument last night, too. I don't know if she explained that. Yep, she did. We've had arguments before. Yeah. But I'm here for this one specifically right now. What happened with this one? She She blocked my number. Okay. She blocked my phone. Um And we're getting married, so like obviously there's there's a lot of tension on that. Sure. Um Yep. So, I don't know if she told you, but like my sister is getting married this weekend. My older sister. Yep. So, kind of like a lot of like pressure on me and that stuff. >> Absolutely. Um and her family has not been nice to me and including her and like her mom and everything. Like they've been kind of rude. Okay. So she she she was not here yesterday and then she showed up here and she was blasting me. She was so rude and so mean and we got we got into an argument. It's there's nothing that I would say that's she yelled at me. Well, she was also saying that, you know, you put hands on her. You shoved her to the ground a couple days ago. Today you prevented her from leaving the house until she threatened to call law enforcement. Actually, she called us and then did a like an hour hang up where she hung up the phone and said, "Oh, sorry. Never mind." And then she had to call back because she says you prevented her from leaving the house. >> No. You don't know if that's true? We're engaged. I would never put hands on her. I'm I'm not saying you did. I'm saying this is what we're being told. Just minutes later the decision was made. The handcuffs clicked and the words primary aggressor sent everything down a path that couldn't be undone. She'll be home. All right. I'm being arrested. Um so Both. Both. Thank you. Thank you. Got some shoes for you. Yeah. I got shoes. Yeah, absolutely. You got like slippers or something like that? >> am why am I being arrested? >> Cuz you're the primary aggressor in a domestic. A domestic for what? For putting your hands on your girl. All right. Well. Sorry I'm Jake's mom. Jake is my son. You arrested him. Yeah. Are you here changing the locks? I'm going to because this is my son and this is his >> You have no business being here. Yes, I do. My son told me to come here. You cannot go in there. >> in there. My purse. I You thought it was over. Not even close. Another woman showed up trying to take everything back, but just seconds later, the whole situation flipped in a shocking way. No, no, you touched me. Damn it. You're under arrest. YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. STOP IT. STOP RESISTING RIGHT NOW. Damn it. Stop resisting. I'm not going to resist. You are. You're going to be right now. Now, give me your hand. Stop. The mother was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting without violence, and trespassing in an occupied residence. Next, a 6-year-old girl burst into tears at a hotel, ran to the elevator looking for her mom, and [music] staff realized something terrifying. No one was answering. 6-year-old came down from the elevator crying. She wants her mom. I finally figured out what room she's in. So, I tried calling it. No answer. So, I had a friend of mine talk to her. She's a young female. We're getting along real well. Uh I had somebody knock on their door cuz they got a do not disturb sign. Nobody's answering. Now, the young girl was telling me there's nobody else up there but her. And she's crying cuz she can't she can't see her mom. I called her mom several times. And I don't know what else to do with the young girl. I don't know. Okay. I hated to call you because I know what that's going to do. But this poor girl, you know. Okay. I'd take her home if I could. What room are they >> They're in 223. Okay. He said like an hour ago she came down from the elevator crying. Um he's called the mom's number multiple times. It rings once, goes to voicemail. They've went up there and knocked, no answer. Okay. Can we go up and check the room? Yeah, I can do that. Do you know what kind of vehicle she drives? No, that one I don't know, sir. Do you like a >> remember like how many days? >> Like a couple days? >> Two days? I only know that I've been here for 3 days. I don't know I don't know if I've had any more. One simple question sent chills through everyone. Where did your mom go? The little girl answered hesitantly, then mentioned a pinky promise. When Mommy left, what did she say? What she tell you? Remember what you told me. It's okay. She's my friend. Yep. So, I promise you. Pinky promise you. I pinky listen. I pinky promise you? Or I'll go get you another candy right now. To the front. To the front of the car. There you go. All right, lean up against the car. You have anything on you that's going to stick me, poke me, stab me? Where's my daughter though?
