king 15. looks like i want to have a bailout i'm going to have one male subject running northbound into the field nothing nothing [Music] where team 15 looks i'm going to have a uda load if you want to start bp my way please let's uh dps out here with me were you following this car yeah it comes back to a ford ranger yeah what's up bro yeah one took off here this way so whatever i didn't know i was looking that way yeah no he he bailed everyone else stayed driver not as a passenger everyone else stayed it's very common it happens so much that it's kind of normal unfortunately the thing is is you don't know what's gonna happen people who don't want to be caught could do anything they could fight you they can take off running you don't know if they're armed but we're gonna have border patrol come by as well it's 50 50. border patrol either is awesome and they come out very quickly but unfortunately lately they've been sending their guys out from further south or from the checkpoints which could be sometimes over an hour eta which we can't hold these people for that long so if that's the case what happens then is we end up just releasing it's not their fault sometimes they're they're very limited on on who they have and how much staffing they have which you know it makes it stressful for us because we're out here working criminal interdiction we run across this all the time and we sometimes won't get a response from border patrol which then it makes us feel like it just doesn't feel right letting these vehicles leave how old are you 15. the driver was 15 years old which we've we've been noticing a trend um that they're using these younger or juveniles um because whether they believe like they can't be processed or charged i guess i should say with uh with human smuggling or not but it's just becoming more of a common thing that we're seeing these younger drivers out here so i started searching the the desert area to the north and i seen a male subject actually matching that description running through the desert looking back at me so i tried to catch up to him uh with with my pickup truck and we tried to hide behind bushes and run around zigzag so i got out still wanted to run i told him to stop in spanish he just kept running so i threw him on the ground and put him in handcuffs so in the end border patrol showed up yeah i think man i don't want you getting upset but just just think about what you're doing you said you have a kid already right and you're married how do you think your kid and your wife's gonna feel when they find out you were doing this stupid stuff for a little bit of cash and then now you're not gonna come back i don't have to say this to you i'm not your dad but someone has to what i mean all right
