all right well during the course of Fridays with Frank we've had a whole bunch of complaints about Speeders on 347 um recently the heiler River Police Department's Traffic Unit also reached out to panau County Sheriff's office and said hey there's a lot of speeders on this road can you come and we can work in conjunction with each other to try to decrease the amount of speeders and try to decrease also the amount of collisions that are on this road so we're out here today uh we're running mobile radar we'll run the lar um hea River Police Department's Traffic Unit is out here uh we have a great working relationship um the heiler River Indian Community uh has grants that the Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit applies for um so we get some equipment we have a great re working relationship with the uh with the entire Community both law enforcement side and uh and non- enforcement side so we're out here today uh 347 just a little bit north of the city of Maricopa uh south of I 10 so on that stretch and we're going to try to get some Speeders slow some people down and be a visual deterrent to remind people they need to obey the speed limit hey there see drive's license please all right one depy slope work for the Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit reason I stopped you you're speeding yeah so I think that the pedometer yeah yeah I I have that effect on people all right she got that's all she has is Chevy I see that all right is she the she's the owner of the car yes it's under her name yes it is okay awesome man I'll give that back to you hang tight for me thank you I got you at 89 speed limit here is 65 I got you on laser while you were coming at me so you were Northbound in the left lane or the number one lane and we're at about M post 181 and you passed me about M post 180 so that's all that's all that that is just the right so technically your speed is a criminal amount of speed so we didn't go Criminal on you today okay so we just kept it regular civil speeding ticket regular speeding ticket all you're going to have to do give the court a call any day after today so hey look I got a speeding ticket how do I take care of it let them give you some instruction on it okay let me give that to you there you have any questions or anything uh it all right appreciate you guys wearing your seat belt thanks for being kind drive safe today nice son was running lar there's the speed so he's at 89 at 1,83 ft is how long how far away he was when I locked his speed in so Laser's great uh it's great for for when you're stationary and you're trying to Fig monitor the speed of vehicles it's the most accurate tool that we have um so as soon as I stopped him one of the first things he said was yeah I know I was speeding so um not a big deal man just kicked him a uh kicked him a regular speeding ticket he's on his way down the Road and we're going to go find somewhere else to set up and keep trying to find more Speeders on this road your assigned call has been on24 why would you go to the left updated like that's a terrible idea hey see your driver's license please I'm depy slope I work for the panel Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit two separate reasons I stopped here first your speed is 81 speed limit here is 65 secondly you have a fully totally tinted windshield and both your side windows are definitely darker than Arizona law allows yeah okay here what that I have a process of getting the window fixed oh um I just moved out here so and when you yield to a emergency vehicle with red and blue lights and siren you have to pull parallel to the rightmost curb which is over on that side instead of here in the median all right and then why do you have California drivers or California license plates and Arizona driver's license just out here I was justed time over I have to change it to Arizona oh yeah well as soon as you have a driver's license you need registration two always have to they always have to be together yeah it's a thing see how registration paperwork and current proof Insurance um right now I don't have it in this car um I had to go in California to pick it up insurance on my phone yeah Insurance on your phone will work first we're going to go over all the warnings I'm going to give you you have to have registration on here from Arizona that's your first one you have to have a registration card that's the second one um you can't yield to the left that's the third one those are all warnings what you're going to get a site for is you're 16 mph above the posted speed limit so speed great than reasonable and prudent you don't have current proof insurance for your vehicle and you have improper tinting on both your window windows and your windshield so you have both I'm going to give that to you right there that's your driver's license and your exact carbon copy of that citation all right are there any questions I can answer for you before I leave you here at the [Applause] window okay long as you're good to go man I appreciate it be careful because the other thing is when you start merging back into traffic now you're merging into the fast lane because you yielded to the left so just be be aware of that as you're getting up there the cars are going to be coming up behind you pretty quick okay thanks see your driver's license please so I'm Deputy slope I work for the Sheriff's Office reason I stopped you is your registration expired in August and we're now in fonce godam it there's that it's his his registration he has to do everything and you have all that whatever that is hanging from your rear of your mirror you can't have in state of Arizona you can't have that how long have you uh how long have you moved here got here um in August I do believe all right I'm going to give that to you there that's your copy of the citation um your driver's license so I'm not going to site you for you're a resident you don't have an Arizona driver's license to a res you have Arizona license plates didn't site you with any of that any of the stuff that you've already fixed hanging from there um all we dealt with was the expired out of State registration okay so and all you'll have to do is get that into compliance so get it get it all and then show that to the court okay and that's it so but just so you know just simply anything no no we keep things simple all right you drive safe you to picture of it yeah of course take all the pictures you want oh she's going to get out okay she she's going to get out take a picture yep see we got we got this is so all you guys pulled over and I was like there's no freaking way anybody's going to notice that that's a call that's the entire idea and there's so many idiots that are going to R there's so we uh yeah we we do that a lot but yeah this is the most recognizable unmarked car in the United States so it's a it's a thing so sick yeah it's fun it's fun man we drive we drive race cars for a living cuz we're in the Traffic Unit no that is so awesome I was like that's probably the best job on the police force that's that's what I that's what we think too you get to S cars you get to go out and be fast we're super fast
