Hi, Smokey. See your driver's license, please. I don't smoke. Yeah, cuz you're smoking in my car. So, you know that you're not supposed to be watching YouTube while you're driving down the road, right? Okay. All right. Well, I'm Deputy Slope. I work for the Panel County Sheriff's Office traffic unit. Um, couple different reasons I stopped you. won the speed of limit on this road's 45 and you had accelerated up to 56 just between Panal Avenue and here because you were behind me and I moved over so that you could pass. Okay. Um and then you're also not supposed to be driving with your disability plate up there. So if you actually take that thing down, it actually says on there um to remove it before you're driving. So couple different reasons. May I also see your registration paperwork and current proof insurance, please? So, like I said, it pace you a 56 and a 45. I did not write you a speeding ticket. Just letting you simply letting you know that your speed was uh greater than what the posted speed limit was. Um, when you made the turn from Val Vista or from Panal onto Val Vista, you turned immediately into the number two lane, which is this lane here, the curb lane, when you needed by law to turn into the first available lane, which is the left lane. I did not give you a citation for that. Um, having your handicap placard hanging from your rearview mirror obstructs your view through your your windshield. That's why on it it says that you have to remove it before driving. I did not write you a ticket for that. The only issues that we're going to deal with is your failure to produce uh evidence of financial responsibility, which is simply you don't have a current insurance card and that you're operating while using a standalone electronic device, meaning that you have YouTube running on your phone on your dash while you're driving. And you can't do that because it distracts you while you're driving, makes you simply an unsafe driver. So, I'm Deputy Slope. I work for the Pan County Sheriff's Office traffic unit. Reason I stopped you is you're at 74 mph while you're passing everything in sight. Um, so you're 24 over, so that gets you a speeding ticket. And then obviously I walked up and I couldn't see through your illegally tinted windows. Um, which caused me some angst, I believe, is probably the best word for it. So, I'm going to give that to you there. Are there any questions I can answer for you? All right. Thanks for wearing your seat belt. Please slow down because that driving is dangerous and unacceptable. Okay, thank you. Drive safe. Reason I stopped you is I locked you in at 73. Speed limit on Val Vista is 50. I see how registration paperwork current proof insurance please. All right, so got you at 73 and 50. So speed. So we just went with a regular civil speeding ticket. Super easy. Nothing crazy. As I stand here, any questions I can answer for you. Yeah. How you going that way? Well, my my radar is is I only run it and moving. So what it does is it allow cuz I can't sit still. Drives me crazy. So all it does is radars nowadays and have been probably for the last 20 years um if not more than that allow patrol vehicles to be moving and ascertain the speed of vehicles coming in the opposite. So I can get someone coming up behind me going away from behind me going away in front of me or coming towards me in front of me depending on what mode I put the radar in. So I've got all four directions, two that way and two that way at any time. Okay. So, I'm kind of I'm always looking. I'm always looking. I was admiring the car. Anyway, I'm like, that's a nice car being It's still a nice ass car. Sir, thank you so much for being kind. Make sure you put your seat belt on. You drive safely today. Um, so he's he's a cameraman for the sheriff's office. So, he's a he's a sheriff's office employee and he documents traffic stops uh with me and documents stuff that the canines do and search and rescue does and our regular patrol guys do. And we put it out on the sheriff's office website. Not all of it, but we put some stuff out there just to uh you know, kind of to to link up with the public and let them know like, "Hey, we're out here
