hey folks Sheriff lamb here so I want to talk to you about a recent change in the sex offender registration law this was actually in September of 2021 this law changed we've been trying to get all these people in compliance whether it's email phone calls mail um we ended up having over a hundred people that were deemed as absconders hadn't complied with it we ended up with the help of the U.S Marshal Service tracking down almost all of them and uh today you're going to see some of those people that we had contact with now most of the people that we were dealing with were pretty compliant easy to work with like this guy take a look there's no rest right now sir sir you and I can talk don't tell me what to do this is my son okay I understand that okay I don't want to talk to you you're not going to interfere with my officers can we get him a pair of shoes please unfortunately not all of our absconders were compliant like this man he was not compliant we made several attempts we called him he actually hung up on us but because of issues we've had with him in the past we had to actually use SWAT to bring this man into compliance you're going to see in this video just what we deal with I am giving you a warning there is strong language for any young years out there please turn the video off uh they would there is strong language we're not going to change it for you go ahead and take a look at it [ __ ] no [ __ ] you and your death [ __ ] that [ __ ] shoot me shoot me someone got a [ __ ] fake ass bullet [ __ ] now as you can see he had no desire to come out but our deputies kept their cool they were composed our SWAT team leader was able to negotiate with this man get him to come out peacefully we took him into custody nobody was harmed none of our guys he wasn't harmed any further just the pepper balls and go ahead and take a look at how that turned out I got a [ __ ] thing wrong dude yeah just another example what we're doing to protect you out there and making sure that all of our sex offenders within our community and are meeting all the requirements even the new requirements we were successful in this and our guys did an amazing job we thank you for all the support God bless and be safe hey let's go just get I'm in jail
