normally work at night so JD the cameraman's got me out working tonight we're doing DUI task force so during the holiday season all across the State of Arizona uh any law enforcement agency that gets grant money from the governor's office of Highway Safety has mandatory reporting nights so that means that the traffic squads go out and we look for impaired drivers and we try to take them off the streets before they cause crashes and ruin people's holidays so the panal count Sheriff's Office is no different so tonight we are out um funded partially by the governor's office of Highway Safety and we're out looking for impaired drivers so we're in cast Grand tonight um every night pretty much Thursday Friday Saturday between Thanksgiving and New Year's we're in a different city in panal County um officers from all over the county get together and focus saturate one particular city and what we're doing is looking for impaired drivers and trying to get them off the road so that's what we're doing tonight um I just finished up my one of my very first stops not an impaired driver but a speeder so he got a speeding ticket he's on his way and we're going to go look for someone who's impaired the reason I stopped you is I couldn't read your license plate cuz it's not illuminated by a light as required by because I just just bought a a seller and he9 he only showed me the yeah but it has to be at the back where all the rest of the license plates go where your license plate goes on the back oh on your bumper that's where that has to be so it's illuminated by a light oh all right had anything to drink tonight no no it's not mine no noesa no nothing nothing smoke any marijuana n no I don't smell it okay why don't you have a why don't you have an Arizona driver's license uh I impair drivers once they're arrested uh I didn't find one tonight uh just two or three other guys on the squad found one they're processing one in here right now so it's it's not necessarily a bad thing I didn't find one that means that all the people I stopped were sober and uh we driving safe so they went on their way we're going to go home tonight and we're going to start again tomorrow so
