so I'm Deputy slow forward for the sheriff's office um outstanding no one cares about that during a traffic stop there's no reason to bring that up under any circumstances because strange enough so am I one Deputy slope I work for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit the reason I stopped you is speed limit on this road is 35 okay and you accelerated to a top speed of 58. still running against us here you say you're going to run out of gas oh I feel like your engine works more efficiently not at higher speeds yeah I think that's a thing I don't know I'm not a mechanic but that's the thing I feel like you got to wear your seatbelt I feel like seat belts are important for staying safe all right by any chance you are you low on blinker fluid today yeah like no because it didn't it didn't work like your blinker didn't work there did you just not use it was work okay because so I'm Deputy slope I work for the Plano County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit the initial reason I stopped you was you're 67 miles an hour and a posted 45 out on Hunt and then when you change lanes from the right lane to the left lane and then the left lane into the left turn lane none of those movements were indicated by any sort of use of any blinker anywhere you are more than double the speed limit here so yield speed limit is here I don't do you feel like that might be an important piece of information okay so you have like people's houses here the roadway here I actually live right in the neighborhood background I just moved here so why do you have an Illinois identification card um so because right now I'm in between licenses which means your license is suspended yeah so okay so let's let's just say hey man my license yeah yeah like in between houses where you're like oh man I got some of my stuff here I guess your license is suspended so what passenger do you have a good license yes okay so so life um so why isn't wife driving this is like a machismo thing and you're like man I gotta drive I guess you can call it that I'm not gonna be I'm gonna be honest with you all right I've got some good news and I've got some bad news let's go with the good news first okay so your license does not appear to be suspended out of Illinois oh okay okay the bad news is you're still doing more than double the speed limit and you're still getting a criminal Citation for excessive speed you do me a favor I could do lots of favors can you please tell my son to listen to his parents put that back put that back window down are you are you not listening you gotta listen to your parents here we go I'll get that to you there I I still listen to my mom right now she actually the other day she rode along with me and she told me to give someone a warning and I did because I listened to my mom can I give a sticker yeah okay so promise promise to listen so those are stickers just like my badge you're welcome it's my pleasure all right is that a good example I know I'm sitting here telling them Daddy's a bad boy I should have been following the law you're not kidding Mom Mom can you drive please thank you since obviously you're the more responsible of the two all right I'm gonna she is the more by the way she's not only she more responsible but she's smarter than you two and she's always gonna be right hey man I appreciate you being kind thank you so much [Music]
