THE WOMAN THOUGHT she was winning the argument right until the handcuffs came out. Just seconds after police arrived at the park, the argument between the two women suddenly pushed the entire [music] situation out of control. Why try me? Push my hand. Push my hand away again YOU GETTING ARREST. SHE GOES. SHE GOES. YOU UNDER ARREST. YOU UNDER YOU UNDER ARREST. YOU UNDER ARREST. ROLL OVER. Put your hand behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. AND IT'S A LAWFUL ORDER. PUT YOUR HAND ON THE CAR. CHUCKS. She just took a swing at a cop. She going to jail. How do I follow up on it? How do I follow up on it? Back the [ __ ] up. >> [laughter] >> YOU UNDER ARREST FOR SWINGING AT ME. THAT'S WHAT. YEAH, to stay back. Right here. Right there. Keep your knees up. Sit up. You under arrest. Get up. The woman kept screaming that she was being treated unfairly while police insisted she had just crossed a dangerous line. You don't swing at police. You do not swing at police. They give you orders to stay back. Yeah, you're right. I did. You stay back. Okay, y'all ain't got to be grabbing me hard though. Let me go. I can walk by myself. What the [ __ ] It don't matter. It does matter. It doesn't. Why is he pushing me though? >> It's going to take some time. >> you, I'm going to jail, but he can push me. He was telling you >> a police officer, you go to jail. >> You pushed me. Shut your mouth. Even while being handcuffed and placed into the patrol car, the woman kept arguing about who had really used force first. Probably Look, do you want to hear me talking to me? Shut your mouth. DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ME TALKING TO ME? YEAH. I'm talking to you. Okay. And he's still being aggressive. SIT. OKAY, I CAN WALK BY MYSELF. >> DO IT NOW. I'M NOT GETTING IN THE CAR WITH HIM. If you say you're taking me, then you're taking me. This is his car. I'm taking you. Okay. I don't want to talk to you. Listen to him, Don. He just pushed the [ __ ] out of me for no reason. Yeah, you deserved it. You took a swing at a cop. You lucky I didn't do worse. You lucky I didn't do worse. Why are you still talking to me? >> Get in the car. I'm not talking to you. Whose car is this? It's my SIT DOWN. STOP TALKING. STOP SIT DOWN. Dead ass. Leave me alone. Get in the Tell HIM TO LEAVE ME ALONE. [screaming] IN the car. [ __ ] with y'all. Y'all got me [ __ ] up. Y'all think he can put his hands on me? Again, he swung at him. >> nothing. He pushed me. After telling you to stay back and you did not comply. >> even talking to his ass. Doesn't matter. Don't act all surprised. Now you're under arrest. >> even doing [ __ ] What the Is this fun? Are you doing okay? Do you have any injuries on you? Okay. I'm going to get you out of here, okay? All right, step up to that gray door, all right? Who is that other jerk kept chirping at you? Who? That other that other lady. She trouble? Uh I don't know. She kept on talking to me though. And as I'm talking to the >> talking all kinds of stuff. Yeah, she was chirping. >> As I'm talking to both these officers, people are pushing me. I'm a girl. You don't have to do that. I almost fell back. You don't have to do that to me. That's violent, right? Wasn't it? I know. Things escalated pretty quick. So, I I'll I'll try to explain to what I'll do is I'll try to explain to >> him back and then he's saying I swung at him. No, you pushed me to the point where I stumbled all the way back here. I'm a female. >> I saw that happen. 20-year-old female. You don't have to put your What started as an argument at the park escalated into charges of assaulting a police officer. >> [music] >> And just a few minutes of losing control could completely change the future of her nursing career. I know you you just got to listen to what he's saying. And I know it's hard to do sometimes. Okay? But at least now you're away from her cuz I don't know what the hell her deal was. Do you Do you know her? >> my hands on her. The girl pulled on threw a bag in my face and everything. >> Okay, good. >> I did not touch her at all. >> Okay. Cuz yeah, we we saw just a big old group of people and then we saw you two yelling at each other. Okay, can you take your purse off for me? Go ahead and place it right up here, okay? Okay, so I was looking at the other person, but what I can give you some context right now to help you understand a little bit more as to why you were placed under arrest, okay? And that other officer will be back eventually too to speak with you with what happens and then you'll get some paperwork done. >> him. He's very rude. Okay. Um He pushed the [ __ ] out of me like on the streets. So, in those situations, it it's not So, you were trying to kind of focus on two things at once, right? So, you were just involved in some crazy thing and then all of a sudden you're you're talking back and forth with that other lady, right? And then we show up, right? So, [music] at that moment our priority becomes cuz we're we're kind of walking into a fog, right? We don't know who's who. we don't know who's the bad guy or anything like that. So, we don't want further fights to happen. So, what that officer did, he stepped towards you, he says, "Hey, stay back." Okay? And then I stepped towards the other person and said, "Hey, stay back." So, she's not coming towards me or anything, but she's tripping at you, right? So, that's probably what's distracting you, but when that officer gives you a command to stay back and then you advance, right? So, that's So, he I So, he pushed you back and then you advanced once more, okay? And that's the reason you were placed under arrest, okay? Cuz by by placing it it's unlawful to put your hands on a law enforcement officer in that fashion. >> for him to push us out I mean like that? No. If If he gives you If he gives you the verbal command to do so. I Well, I I I think So, well, the phrase of if it's okay or not, it it is situation dependent, right? I didn't see exactly what happened, so um that can be decided later on, okay? Cuz there'll be a court date for this, but once we get this figured out, you you will be released today, okay? Unless something else crazy comes up, okay? Hey, this could be a very very small road bump and you can get back to your So, what are you studying? What are you studying right now? >> Nothing. Oh, I'm Okay. Well, cuz we have another place and you're going to be there. That's my whole plan. This this whole situation's going to be He's charged with battery on a police [music] officer, assault on a police officer, and resisting arrest. Next. An 18-year-old [music] student thought she was only helping with a fire investigation, but minutes later, police suddenly demanded to seize her phone in the middle of the night. Um they want to seize my phone, but I'm not So, so so listen so They're reading them all around me. So, listen. You you >> [music] >> Listen for a second. So, the fire's going to be under investigation. That's fine. Okay? And we're going to seize your phone. Why? Because we are cuz the fire's under investigation. >> I need to know why my phone's being seized. They're not telling me a reason why my phone's being seized. They're not telling me a reason why my phone's being seized. They're not telling me a reason why my phone's being seized. They're not telling me why my phone's being >> I just did. But you said it's under investigation, which I didn't [music] >> So So, listen to me. The fire That's her phone. So, the fire's going to be under investigation, and your phone's going to be seized.
