I think I've always wanted to be in law enforcement I mean it's something as a little kid you always grow up like oh I want to be a cop or I want to do something in law enforcement and then actually getting in the door and coming in here has really opened my eyes to what law enforcement's actually about and helping the community and serving your community members even though they may be incarcerated or being held waiting trial they're still part of the community and they still deserve our help you doing good yeah all right well you take it easy okay you want to see the doctor here in a little bit yeah all right cool we'll come back for you it is great environments I mean I love coming to work especially seeing all my friends the majority of my friends I've met here they're awesome people 203 legal business is it I've been here for six years I am comfortable in the sense that I know what to expect you're never fully comfortable in the situation there is inherent danger in a jail as soon as you walk in there's danger there are people here who do want to hurt us there are people here who don't like us that's the job and I mean I can say my comfortability comes from being around my other employees the people I work with the other officers they have my back just like I have theirs I'm checking to see which toilet is hooked up to which connector system so we have maintenance but sometimes maintenance is really busy like today so we you do everything we'll put a work order in on his toilet and then get him re-housed to a cell that has a functioning fluid if someone coming in at 19 years old in this place is a huge opportunity especially if you want to go to the road if you want to be a police officer somewhere you learn skills in here you won't learn in the classroom going to college spending money at College here you're making money and it's going to be in your benefit to start here sooner than later the shooting recruitment video for us a recruitment video so we can get more people in here to work with people like yourself yeah you'll work here yeah you're gonna do my job you'd want to do my job yeah foreign
